NBC's Mark Murray and Domenico Montanaro discuss how the economy has taken a back seat in this presidential race and where the candidates are on the campaign trail today.
Stop embarrassing yourself First Read. The nation is better off when you report facts and let the public decide. The liberal media didnt stop the American voter from using common sense in 2010 and it's not going to happen in 2012.
When the republicans come out and tell us that they want to cut the budgets for Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, homeless shelters, Social Security and want to increase the minimum age for retirement while increasing the budget for the military it is easy to see where their priorities are and who they would help. If that isn't enough, they would also like to cut tax credits to almost everyone earning less than $100,000 while adding more deductions for the top 1%.
Your election choice this year is a simple one.
If you are wealthy or want to support the wealthiest population vote republican.
If you have an income less than $250,000 you need to vote democrat or prepare to suffer the consequences.
nomoresameo, it's just too bad Pentagon spending can't be classified as part of the GDP. The "R-Team" could turn the economy around in a heartbeat with their budget as you described!
UAW: "The liberal media didnt stop the American voter from using common sense in 2010 and it's not going to happen in 2012."
You know it always amazes me how conservative voting history only dates back to 2010. I could just as easily say "The (much more vociferous) conservative media didnt stop the American voter from using common sense in 2008 and it's not going to happen in 2012."
You know, y'all could have saved yourselves a lot of time and effort if you'd just shown up in 2008 to keep Barack Obama from becoming President in the first place. Just think, you could be packing your bags for Tampa right now and instead of being forced to stand there and chant "Mitt! Mitt! Mitt!" as if you really meant it, you could be looking up at McCain and Palin and chanting "Four more years!" with every ounce of your heart and soul. Wouldn't that have just made so much more, ummm, "common sense"?
It's not about the economy. It's about how the Romney/Ryan budget will change Medicare as we know it and how seniors, Republicans and Democrats alike say, "Don't touch my medicare!!"
Oh, stop that silly talk. Next thing you know you'll be telling the Republicans how things could have been so much better if they voted for the REAL John McCain in the 2000 Primaries instead of voting for that other guy.
Kenya Pack n Leave: "Obama doesn't care about our nations elderly that now have to wait sitting in urine and feces in their nursing home beds because direct care staff has been cut."
And you know that for a fact, right? You can back it up with a source and some actual examples and documentation?
Here are some facts for you, Kenya. Before my mother passed away the end of June, she was back and forth between her assisted living home, two different hospitals, and a nursing home/rehab center. Along with all of her other health issues, she was, yes, almost completely incontinent. At NO time, in any of those facilities, did she ever have to "wait" for someone to come and attend to her. Have YOU ever attended to an incontinent patient, Kenya? Have you gently lifted someone out of their bed and helped them to the bathroom and cleaned them up and changed their gown and bedclothes and wiped up the floor and helped them put on new diapers, all the while gently reassuring them that they had no need to feel embarrassed or ashamed because they just wet the bed - or worse? Have you sat with them afterwards, stroking their hand and offering to sit with them until they were calmed down again? Have you had to dispose of all the soiled mess? Because that's what every single nurse and aide and other staff member I ever saw that whole time did with my Mom.
Oh, and you want the real kicker? Most of them spoke broken English and many of them were probably illegal aliens. Because people like you wouldn't do that job for all the money in the world, let alone for minimum wage. I don't give a damn if they were. They were honest and conpassionate and hard-working. And they knew a hell of a lot more about Medicare patients than you ever will.
When will Obama end his War on Catholics, Jews, Seniors, Business Owners, and Taxpayers?
Let's stick with the Jews for a moment and ask when will God end His War on them? He had the entire Middle East to choose from and they got the chunk without any oil. What's up with that God, why didn't you give them Saudi Arabia instead. Not very Promethean of you! Sometimes I am convinced that God was not a woman, She would have looked after her children.
Then you may consider wearing your Depends on your head from now on. Along with providing you with protection from your imaginary rain shower it would also provide a rather stylish accent to your current wardrobe which generally consists of floppy red shoes and a rubber nose.
My mother passed away at the Veterans Home in Augusta, Maine in 2010. They were simply wonderful to her and us, during her final year on earth. A huge THANK YOU to the Alzheimer's unit at the Veterans Home in Augusta. (And thank FDR for Medicare!)
Hmmmm. The republicans don't call them "golden showers" for nothing now do they? Then again most of em were always a bit on the perverse side of politics much like good ol Caesar the geezer! Just sayin!
Personally, I don't even care any more how many times these cheats and frauds keep re-registering new accounts so they can come back on here and spew more garbage after they've been repeatedly banned. If they actually think that posts like that are going to turn Independents and undecided voters, then I say let them go for it.
Hey, I've got an idea, maybe they should cancel Chris Christie and Marco Rubio and just let Kenya deliver the keynote address at the convention and let Caesar there introduce Mitt Romney. I mean, aren't they the poster children for everything that makes folks proud to be a Republican today?
maybe they should cancel Chris Christie and Marco Rubio and just let Kenya deliver the keynote address at the convention and let Caesar there introduce Mitt Romney
I say go for it - let them expose themselves to all voters, giving them a glimpse of the idiot savants that are the lap dogs of the GOP/TP party. Kenya picking his nose on national TV while Dusgustus digs at his ass like a miner going for gold. Pretty, pretty visuals.
So let me see if I've got this right - the Romney campaign is spending big money on a tv ad attacking an Obama super PAC ad that most people never saw because it never actually ran on tv. And this is an effective strategy how?
These are the same people who thought it was a good idea to roll out their VP pick at 9AM EDT (6AM PDT) on the final Saturday of the Olympics when no one was watching. The only thing most people remember from that is Willard introducing Eddie Munster as the "next President of the United States."
Have you noticed that most of the anti-Obama ads take the President's words out of context and misrepresent his positions, while most of the anti-Romney ads factually report things that he doesn't want to talk about?
Republicans continue to question President Obama's citizenship, religion, and patriotism; and take his words out of context to create a "fictictional" Obama.
Democrats question Romney's business practices, tax returns, and Cayman Island/Swiss tax shelters; creating a picture of the "real" Romney.
Which party is guilty of "smears, deceit and deception"
I saw an effective ad for President Obama last night--it showed Mitt Romney and noted his effective tax rate was 14% and pointed out that the average viewer's rate was probably higher. And also noted that Mitt wants to lower the top rates further. Kind of all you need to know.
Forming a narrative by looking at your opponent's past if ok but a fine line has to be drawn. It can be seen that you only push out negative campaign dirt and have no ideas.
Just as Romney must not just say Obama is doing everything wrong and then offer no reasonable plans or ideas, in effect (vote against Obama not vote for me); Obama must not only tarnish Romney's past he must convince the population how his (Obama's) plans are better.
So no more requests for tax returns that is not as important as framing your opponent's business practices during his tenure at Bain. It is not as important as contrasting Mitt's belief in a top down economy vs. a thriving middle class.
I think it is best for the president to show that a balanced approach to our growing debt is needed where revenues by way of eliminating the Bush tax cuts and expenditures are reduced by way of cutting spending. Yes spending to the military, to government services and entitlement reform. Despite the Democratic parties unwillingness to address SS and medicare, reform is needed to strengthen these necessary programs. Once the disastrous Bush tax cuts are gone, additional reform is needed to broaden the tax base, perhaps lowering rates slightly for all but removing writeoffs etc.
Now that Romney has pushed hard right with the Ryan plan, is it time for Obama to push realistic measures in the Debt commission plan? It is time for the candidate I support to level with the American people, admit that it will be hard but we can continue to slowly grow and recover. Or we can use right wing social engineering methods to cut government and state jobs that would massively increase unemployment by throwing millions out of work at the same time social services are cut by a soon to be GOP dominated legislative branch.
The choice is clear and the Obama campaign should be able to easily frame the discussion. However, who knows what the unnamed and unlimited supposed free speech entities will push this election cycle.
The only thing most people remember from that is Willard introducing Eddie Munster as the "next President of the United States."
_______________________________
Apparently you missed the clips Brian Williams showed from 2008 where Barry also refered to the "next President" when he announced his pick of Joe "Gaffe" Biden. Even funnier was when "Gaffe" gave Barry the porn-name/super-hero name of "Barack America" in his VP pick speech right after that.
Joe in Albany - Yes, Obama did make the mistake of introducing Joe Biden as the next President of the US. However, he quickly corrected the misspeak - unlike Romney who didn't realize he wasn't introducing the next President!
The rest of your post is as disgusting as you usually are!
So let me see if I've got this right - the Romney campaign is spending big money on a tv ad attacking an Obama super PAC ad that most people never saw because it never actually ran on tv. And this is an effective strategy how?
Oh that ad got PLENTY of TV time... it was all over the TV this weekend... covered by the media.
Yeah, it was an internet ad but thanks to the horrible message it sent (a message that was never denounced by the liberals) it was a major topic on all the news programs and political shows.
One thing that ad did accomplish is that it exposed the liberals for what they truly are.
For that let me personally thank you!
----------------------------------------
BTW... you libs point fingers at the conservatives and call them liars... but we all know that the ad in question was a total fabrication.
That man did in fact lose his job, but his wife was not diagnosed with cancer for ANOTHER 6 YEARS! all the while she had health coverage from her employer.
I see your point. When has putting up a counter-ad to your opponent's attack ad ever worked?
It just goes to show, that SuperPAc ad got under Romney's skin - which usually happens when the attack is close to the bone.
Romney is running on his business experience at Bain Capital but refuses to take responsibility for shuttering some companies, laying off workers, and shipping their jobs overseas. He really would do better to face these atttacks head on.
BaylLie if you mean litter in the convo by not agreeing with you and Feisty Castro then sure, guilty as charged. but you guys have a little bathhouse for those discussions called what the DDI? so if you want only agreeance for your side, go there. quit acting like you own first read.
Joe, it is true that Obama made the same gaff that Willard did. However, Obama also introduced Biden at a time when the networks cut in to see his introduction of Biden, people were actually tuning in and could see the speech for themselves. The only ones who saw Willard's introduction of Eddie were political junkies that had nothing better to do on a Saturday morning than to roll out of bed and flip on the tube. Those who weren't watching just saw the evening news version in which the clip of Willard introducing Eddie as the "next President" was prominently featured in their coverage.
How about if just for the sake of discussion we all agree that candidates DO in fact have some control over what ads their super PAC's run on their behalf ( I think we can all agree that it's pretty naive to think they don't). In that case, it says a lot to me that the ad in question never actually aired on tv. It tells me the President didn't like it much either and didn't want it out there representing him. If he did, it would be running 24/7 by now in every swing state. As it is, the only Obama ad I've seen the last few weeks here in supposedly swing state PA is the one where he talks about politics seeming "small". You want to argue with that one?
Amy - yeah, so where does it ever stop? By election day they end up being reduced to "Well, he said that I said that he didn't say what I never said that he said I said" - and by then nobody's even listening anymore. Just seems to me that Romney's money might be better spent telling me what's so great about Romney, but it looks like our fellow posters here aren't the only ones having a hard time coming up with very much in that regard.....
I'm really curious to know the CW on the down-ballot with Ryan in the #2 spot. Romney had his base wrapped up (who else were the far right going to vote for?) but doubled down with Ryan as his VP. Wonder what affect that'll have for all those undecideds...
I am awe struck that he did not pick a woman. Romney will lose this election because he doubled down with the Ryan choice on taking away a woman's right to choose. Candy Crawley needs, as a woman, to go after Mitt with straight forward questions on this during the debates.
Scott Brown in Massachusetts is running as fast as he can away from the Romney/Ryan ticket. I hope Elizabeth Warren can tie the ticket to Brown - he'll sink like a rock.
I've often said the GOP's disastrous handling of this election year will be discussed and dissected in political science courses across the country for years to come. From the Republican's hilarious primary race to their hysterical choice of Ryan as their wannabe veep, the bones of this turkey will be picked over thoroughly. I can easily imagine that the majority of the doctoral dissertations on this election year will be entitled, "The GOP in 2012: How NOT To Run A Presidential Campaign" and "2012: The Year The Republican Party Collapsed."
I have to wonder if the intense total disregard for any principals by the GOP this election year is solely designed to finally rid the Republicans of the Tea Party. The Republican leadership has learned that most (if not all) of the Tea Party supported people are not interested in governing, rather they truly want to dismantle government. They believe in a destroy it from within philosophy.
Perhaps they are letting the standard bearers take the fall, forcing them to fully embrace the insanity so that it can be proven to be the reckless course the nation can not afford. Once the party loses badly, the GOP can regroup as the center-right organization, more interested in governing than destroying.
Going into government service with the thought that " government is the problem " rather than part of the solution does not solve the problems. That's like going to be a kindergarten teacher when you really hate little children.
So Willard and Eddie Munster changed the discussion from the economy to how the Eddie Munster plan will destroy Medicare? Sheer genius Willard, keep up the good work!
At least three times in recent days, as part of his response to President Obama’s “You didn’t build that” peroration Romney has told campaign audiences variations of the following: “When a young person makes the honor roll, I know he took a school bus to get to the school, but I don’t give the bus driver credit for the honor roll.”
Romney and Ryan, two peas in a pod, both "successful" men with a pathological disdain for working men and women. They may want to have one of Romney's sons drive them to their campaign stop, cause I wouldn't trust an ordinary bus driver at this point. (And especially not if the driver belongs to a union!)
Amy---good point. Romney doesn't seem to understand that the taxpayers paid all the salaries of everyone involved in that honor roll student's achievement. So he (of course to Romney it is a "he") did have help along the way. Maybe when you went to private school you don't get it.
Amy & Steeler Fan: you still don't get the GOP plan: the honor roll consists of all the children of a certain age who "win" honors at their own, private, HOME SCHOOL. While the Romneys and Ryans will have personal private tutors for each of their little darlings, they want to eliminate public education.
Public Education is paid by tax dollars. If you don't have public education, you don't need as much taxes, so they don't have to pay as much. Therefore, the wealthy get to make more money and no one will ever helps them do that. They did it all by themselves.
I'm trying really hard to picture little Mitt standing on the corner with his lunchbox in hand, looking down the street for the school bus to come, and you know what? It's just not working somehow......
Hey there Caesar, got that net ready to catch all those bucks the wealthy will spread around after they get their tax breaks? Actually your best bet would be to get a job as a teller in an offshore bank. New branches are opening daily.
Now, Seeking Sanity---don't spoil the fun of those on the right, who think it is amusing to label someone a Muslim when they are not. Forget respecting his religion and forget the many Muslim-Americans they insult---they have fun doing this. It is about the only amusement that will be left to them when Romney/Ryan goes down in flames in November.
lets see seeking, Paul Ryan = Eddie Munster, based on a TV characters looks right
Then Obama would be fitting as Haji from Johnny Quest.
Hey blackcat, you want to spread wealth, Go reinstate the USSR. As for teller's in offshore banks, if you think its only Romney, look no further than Frogeye girl Debbie Wasserman.
Also blackcat, care to remind me of the legalities of offshore accounts again? I didnt think so.
Yeah seeking how much money did obama make after his books in the whitehouse again? Stupid eh? care to tell me which books he wrote after his election to president?
Hey steeler, mighty bigoted of you. Haji wasnt a muslim in Johny Quest. Or was he, perhaps you know something even the creators dont know. oh well steeler, its all about race with you libbies.
Caesar - his books made him a millionaire AFTER he was in the White House because they sold in large numbers after his election. See how that works? Just writing them doesn't make you wealthy - they actually have to sell. I know you're having a hard time wrapping your mind around that subtly but think about it - that should keep you busy until after the election!
Hey blackcat, you want to spread wealth, Go reinstate the USSR. As for teller's in offshore banks, if you think its only Romney, look no further than Frogeye girl Debbie Wasserman.
I have a desire to reinstate the USSR? The only possible reason to want that is it would supply the GOP with a world class opponent to play their fear games with. Yep the fall of the USSR was just great and especially when the oligarchs got to own everything after going whole hog with a laissez-faire approach to economics. Your boys Ryan and Romney seem to like that concept.
Also blackcat, care to remind me of the legalities of offshore accounts again? I didnt think so.
Again? I discussed this issue with you? I see, that was just a rhetorical jab. My litter box is lined with legalities, my bedding is lined with ethics. You?
Caesar..You've been reading waaay too many comic books. Oh wait! You're a conservative! Now we know where you and the puss SOB get most of your information. Typical.
Now, Seeking Sanity---don't spoil the fun of those on the right, who think it is amusing to label someone a Muslim when they are not. Forget respecting his religion and forget the many Muslim-Americans they insult---they have fun doing this.
Kind of sensitive about Obama's Muslim heritage aren't you?
BTW... Hadji was from India and of the Hindu faith. So quit labeling people just because they where a head-wrap! You Racist BIGOT!
well torpedo, only half right on the conservative part. Fiscally yes. As for too many comic books, yeah my home page is First read and read lots of funnies with the liberal comments.
Thanks sick, but steeler didnt catch that. Steeler is racist like Fisty
thanks blackcat for pointing out my typos. I dont know what i would do with out you libs. Funny though when the economy is brought up you guys go back to the TEEVEE with mocks of eddie munster. Priorities I suppose. hows Anne's horse doing btw?
@5.13 & @5.14 - So someone mixes up an old cartoon character's religion and they are called racist and bigoted when you two originally stirred the pot with the unflattering barb at the President.
I guess you two have your priorities set right for the trolls that you are. No value comments indeed.
i guess i learned how to be liberal after all. it is a characteristic bestowed upon liberals, intellectual laziness that is. besides its not a swamp of sarcasm, its a bog thank you
President Obama's plan makes the cuts by reducing payments to insurance companies and eliminates the fraud (as much as possible).
Ryan's plan makes the cuts by giving vouchers to seniors....the CBO says that will cost seniors about $6,500 more a year the first year...with it going up each year as health costs rise but voucher does not keep pace with cost.
Right now Ryan's plans says it doesn't impact seniors 55+....that is a load of crock...when they go to implement, they will suddenly find the need to implement the voucher program for ALL seniors.
Any senior or anyone in their 40s & 50s who vote for Romney/Ryan better start putting lots of money aside for healthcare if they want to get even decent coverage.
And with repeal of ACA by Romney/Ryan and no replacement plan, we will go back to insurance denying people with pre-existing conditions, which most seniors have...stopping your insurance if you reach a certain cap....having insurance companies pocket majority of the money instead of using it to provide healthcare.
Dragon: as for the Republican replacement plan for the ACA: Romney/Ryan will get back to you on that. However, don't hold your breath. Like everything else the GOP has this year, you aren't going to be getting anything soon.
"I grew up reading Ayn Rand and it taught me quite a bit about who I am and what my value systems are, and what my beliefs are. It’s inspired me so much that it’s required reading in my office for all my interns and my staff." - Paul Ryan in a speech to the Atlas Society in 2005
Really? Ryan professes himself to be a devout Catholic yet he follows the philosophy of atheist Ayn Rand who once said, "Faith is the worst curse of mankind, as the exact antithesis and enemy of thought."
What of the fetus? Does it have rights which must be respected? The concept of rights is based on man's nature and presupposes the existence of an actual, fully formed and separate human being. Fetuses and embryos are not actual human beings; they are potential human beings. They have no rights until they exist apart from the mother, i.e., at birth. This is not to condone the morality of arbitrarily delaying an abortion until the last months of pregnancy--when the fetus is approaching humanness. But the function of the law is to protect rights--not to dictate moral issues which involve no violation of rights
Noid - the oxymoron of being a devout Catholic and a devout Rand fan is the symptomatic problem or Ryan. Much like his single sole focus on saving the government money, he does not consider the cost to society at large. Anyone can produce a budget. But producing a budget with a moral compass is far more intricate. For example, if you pass off Medicare expenses to future seniors, what is the impact to the economy when that group suddenly faces spending 1/3 or even 2/3's of their Social Security income on medical insurance. There are entire industries built around services to seniors. I guess Ryan is ok watching those industries collapse, adding even more to food stamp/welfare/unemployment programs. Ryan certainly doesn't address the cost to society as seniors are either dumped into the streets, or the cost of supporting seniors falls to family members, creating a massive financial drain on any middle-class Americans that might offer grandpa/grandma a home.
Ryan has little understanding of cause and affect of budgetary actions. He thinks it is a simple as rewriting the tax code on arrows. He might stick to using those economic skills on evaluating the tax on darts, spit-balls, and pea shooters. That is about as deep as his 'wonk' goes.
Biden is a ranting snake oil salesman. If there are any chains involved they are from the Dems. Everything they do is geared to keeping the people dependent on their big gov't. hand-outs. If the people ever got off the welfare wagon, they wouldn't need the Dems, and Joe boy wouold have to get a real job.
And, here I thought it would be at least a week before the bloom fell off the rose!
Silly me... it only took 72 hours... lol
Romney/Ryan 2012 - The Road to Ruination!
Stop embarrassing yourself First Read. The nation is better off when you report facts and let the public decide. The liberal media didnt stop the American voter from using common sense in 2010 and it's not going to happen in 2012.

YES WE CAN
Put Ryan out of office.
He can loss the VP and his House seat Nov. 6.

What? You mean you can't be Catholic or Jewish or a Senior Citizen or a Business Owner or a Taxpayer in this country any more?
Kenya -
You and I both know that is a blatant lie.
The "cuts" to Medicare in the ACA are reductions in the growth rate of payments and reductions in overpayments to providers.

Anyone voting Republican must be brain dead.
ZOMBIES for ROMNEY/RYAN 2012 !!!!!

Democrats question Romney's business practices, tax returns, and Cayman Island/Swiss tax shelters; creating a picture of the "real" Romney.
Which party is guilty of "smears, deceit and deception"
Paul Ryan: The Deficit? I Built That!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like it!
Al in Visalia CA
This was the first time ever Romney told the truth. We all know that Willard is Ryan/TP puppet just like Bush was Cheney's puppet.
LOL Albany Joe. Libbies constantly running head first into trees
Joe in Albany - Yes, Obama did make the mistake of introducing Joe Biden as the next President of the US. However, he quickly corrected the misspeak - unlike Romney who didn't realize he wasn't introducing the next President!
The rest of your post is as disgusting as you usually are!
Obama/Biden 2012
SPIN, TWIST AND OUTRIGHT LIES FROM THE LIBS!
(clown nose, fisty... show it!)
JoAnne,
I see your point.
SOTB -
How about if just for the sake of discussion we all agree that candidates DO in fact have some control over what ads their super PAC's run on their behalf ( I think we can all agree that it's pretty naive to think they don't).
Cat, a woman would've been too reminiscent of Palin, but I agree, Kelly Ayotte would've been a much better pick than Ryan - go fig.
Scott Brown in Massachusetts is running as fast as he can away from the Romney/Ryan ticket. I hope Elizabeth Warren can tie the ticket to Brown - he'll sink like a rock.
Amy B. Portland, ME
it won't be hard for her: Brown supports Romney who picked Ryan....
It is my understanding that Candy Crowley (along with the other three debate moderators) is a registered Republican.
I am going to go out on a limb here and say she'll be lobbing some softballs right up the middle on the right side of the podium.
But, hey, it's a great gig if you can get it, right?
So Willard and Eddie Munster changed the discussion from the economy to how the Eddie Munster plan will destroy Medicare? Sheer genius Willard, keep up the good work!
Your friend:
Barack Obama
... or how to lose an election by Mitt Romney.
I just read this comment Romney made at a rally:
I apologize; but hat tip to whomever dug this up (Red?)

the visual is hard to avoid.
See! I told you so! ;op
LMAO
What is Haji's plan Al?
Caesar Augustus-
Hey there Caesar, got that net ready to catch all those bucks the wealthy will spread around after they get their tax breaks? Actually your best bet would be to get a job as a teller in an offshore bank. New branches are opening daily.
Caesar - what would it matter since Haji isn't running for anything in the US. Try to grow a brain!
Obama/Biden 2012
Well Caesar, you need to watch more Johnny Quest cartoons and you will have the answer to your question.
Obama/Biden 2012
I have a desire to reinstate the USSR? The only possible reason to want that is it would supply the GOP with a world class opponent to play their fear games with. Yep the fall of the USSR was just great and especially when the oligarchs got to own everything after going whole hog with a laissez-faire approach to economics. Your boys Ryan and Romney seem to like that concept.
Again? I discussed this issue with you? I see, that was just a rhetorical jab. My litter box is lined with legalities, my bedding is lined with ethics. You?
HAHAHAH!!!!!
<Scene: Haji waving his hands over the economy>
Haji: Seem Seem Salabeem!
<Out comes a giant robot spider that destroys us all!>
As you peer closer you can see the following two labels...
<Made in China>
<Property of Bain Capital>
Caesar..You've been reading waaay too many comic books. Oh wait! You're a conservative! Now we know where you and the puss SOB get most of your information. Typical.
Can we at least spell it right ... Hadji, and then look at what the modern interpretation has become.
urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=hadji
Kind of sensitive about Obama's Muslim heritage aren't you?
BTW... Hadji was from India and of the Hindu faith. So quit labeling people just because they where a head-wrap! You Racist BIGOT!
hahaha! That felt good :-)
(show me the clown nose, Fisty!)
well torpedo, only half right on the conservative part.
No value comments indeed.
hey yellowdog, race card is over played. Steeler jumped it, insinuated racism, it wasnt a mix up at all. quit playing victim where there was no crime.
Caesar Augustus-
So what happened to the irony you once proclaimed to flout? Did it sink in your shallow swamp of sarcasm?
Consistently spelling a word wrong is not a typo, it is intellectual laziness.
i guess i learned how to be liberal after all. it is a characteristic bestowed upon liberals, intellectual laziness that is. besides its not a swamp of sarcasm, its a bog thank you
President Obama's plan makes the cuts by reducing payments to insurance companies and eliminates the fraud (as much as possible).
ZOMBIES for Romney/Ryan 2012!!!!
.
Ayn Rand was also pro-abortion rights.
http://www.aynrand.org/site/News2?page=NewsArticle&id=5105
Da Noid and Amy: now don't go trying to confuse Romney/Ryan fans with facts and information. Their lack of ability to think can't process those.
ZOMBIES for Romney/Ryan 2012 !!!!
Gasp - do tell!! Are they also a Randy-Randist, or at least part of the "Rand for Dummies - Atlas Society Group" that so enamored Ryan?
Can I throw in a (sic 'World') Atlas Shrugged?
especially as it relates to the combined WORLD stage of experience and knowledge in this particular 'brain trust'?

Biden is a ranting snake oil salesman. If there are any chains involved they are from the Dems. Everything they do is geared to keeping the people dependent on their big gov't. hand-outs. If the people ever got off the welfare wagon, they wouldn't need the Dems, and Joe boy wouold have to get a real job.
why doesn't nbcnews coverage the very large story of male DHS officers suing DHS Janet Napolitano office for sexual harassment.
