Politico: “The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee issued a public apology Thursday afternoon to billionaire casino magnate Sheldon Adelson for charging that the Republican mega donor was tied to the Chinese mob and a prostitution ring. ‘In press statements issued on June 29 and July 2, 2012, the DCCC made unsubstantiated allegations that attacked Sheldon Adelson, a supporter of the opposing party. This was wrong. The statements were untrue and unfair and we retract them,’ the DCCC wrote. ‘The DCCC extends its sincere apology to Mr. Adelson and his family for any injury we have caused.’ The statement is an attempt by the Democratic party committee to try and make a potential defamation lawsuit go away.”
CALIFORNIA: “Tax questions turned around and nipped Rep. Lois Capps, D-Santa Barbara, on Thursday, with revelations that she had not fully reported rental income for about five years,” McClatchy reported. “The belatedly reported income came from one of Capps’ campaign and congressional staffers, who rented a room in her Santa Barbara residence from 2001 to 2005. Though Capps’ accountant finally reported the rental income to the House in 2006, Capps only filed amended tax returns with the Internal Revenue Service this year.”

As they should, too. So, when will the GOP, RNC, FOX and the many individual republican legislators issue a public apology for spreading lies about President Obama and disrespecting the Office of President? Inquiring minds want to know.
What Lies?
To save time, why don't Democrats just appologize for being Democrats, instead of going through the extensive laundry lists of crime, corruption, unethical behavior ,and radical extremism with which they are always involved.
You got you're answer right there Jody. From two of the most uneducated uninformed liar Limbaugh lying Fox lemmings.
J.D. Still and rukidding honestly believe if it isn't a lie, it isn't real.
No apology needed. Obama is a liar and a fraud and a lousy President. Liberals are too stupid to know it. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, there goes a unicorn.
Jody
Remember “We the People of the United States” as well David Axelrod will hold Mitt Romney responsible for any misleading ads, lies or half truths. From the Karl Rove-linked American Crossroads to the pro-Romney Restore Our Future (both super PACs) to Americans for Prosperity, a group tied to the billionaire Koch Brothers.
The high command for the president's re-election campaign sent notice that Romney would be held responsible for ads run by outside conservative groups.
Quote: "We will treat every ad that comes from those entities as an ad from Gov. Romney," senior adviser David Axelrod said in a conference call with reporters.

And Willard should be help responsible for any ad run on his behalf. Although I don't know how much good it'll do, Willard can't sink much lower.
David Axlerod is gonna get em eh? Mr. Axlerod might be wise not to threaten, or draw too much attention to himself and his past involvements with radicals and communist, from Axlerod"s own communist mentor, Chicago journalist/political activist David C. Rose, a member of a Communist Party front, the Alliance to End Repression,(from the book, The Manchurian President, by Aaron Klein), which lays out in great detail,(much too great to list here), Mr. Axlerod's long associations with Communist and radicals, that he has helped place into positions of power, along with the rest of Mr. Obama's unelected ,unaccountable comrades who have seized control and are actually running Our government,....... but,........ then again,................ go ahead Dave,.......... knock yourself out!
Oh, please. Dubya didn't run the government. Rove and Cheney did, and they want it back.
J.D. Still, do you really think going back to the 60's is going to help the tea people Koch republicans? It's obvious using communism as your talking points you tea people have absolutely nothing.
JD - you would think businesses would WANT a communist in charge. They send our jobs to China, so why not take out the middle man and change the former middle class to communist slave labor right here in the USofA? Slave labor and no regulations - its the ideal business environment - isn't it?
But communism is disappearring. There's a significant number of billionaires in China now. And they did it by - you guessed it - using slave labor where no regulation exist to hamper businesses. Isn't this the grand plan for the US? Dorms for laborers making 35 cents an hour while the upper crusty live in palaces. Some vision for the future you have JD.
Demi
We can only hope Republicans get it back!, imagine, millions of more people employed ,the deficit trillions of dollars less than it is now,no pie in the sky, glorified golf carts ,or solar and windmill projects with hundreds of millions of dollars going to Obama's Buds overseas with the American People footing the bill, and the elimination of what will be a multi-trillion dollar "health insurance" scam that no one has yet to explain what actual" health care" would be given with massive numbers of physicians threatening to quit, Yup Demi, We can only hope.
Mo
You're a funny guy, nothing, if not loyal, Obama could be caught stabbing the Pope in the back by all the networks on live TV, with a signed confession in his pocket, and You would still be in denial.
Bleary eyed
Interesting post, with China loosening their controls on business,(it is now easier to get a business license in China than many places here),and moving towards Entrepreneurial Capitalism and prospering, while We are being drug against our will, toward totalitarian, state control, with our economy collapsing, and all the while looking more and more like the old centralized socialist/communist economies of the past,Maybe The Chinese are learning from their mistakes while We are repeating theirs.
...and imagination is precisely what will be required, J.D.Still, because no politician who does not habitually walk on water or [better yet] feed a multitude with five loves and two fish, will walk into the Oval Office next January and turn matters around over night.
Has Obama made mistakes?
Absolutely.
His emphasis on Health Care Reform in his first two years in office was a distraction, cost him a great deal of political capital, and produced a "solution" at least half the people dislike.
He also set people's expectation high, in claiming that he could turn the economy around in 2 years. Most economists were saying this was never going to happen.
But in the main he has done almost exactly what McCain would have done if elected: deficit spending, rescue of the auto industry, and extend the Bush-era, "temporary" tax cuts.
Also, if his most vehement critics would look around the world, they might note that almost all western economies are doing poorly, and most are doing far worse than our own. Great Britain, which embraced austerity measures over a year ago, appears to be entering a second recession. Most of Southern Europe is experiencing Depression-era unemployment, and have governments which cannot find the resources to operate.
Mitt Romney, whom so many Republicans have so cheerily embraced, is a man who espouses whatever policies will best please his audience of the moment. As the ["severely conservative"] governor of Massachusetts, Romney was a supporter of Gay Rights, abortion rights, the banning of assault weapons, and his own version of the much denigrated "Obama Care". Now his views on all of these issues have swung 180 degrees.
Obama, whatever his faults, has espoused pretty much the same policies in office as he did on the campaign trail:
Romney? As Forest Gump might put it, he is like a box of crackerjacks, you never know what you'll find inside.
There should be no apology until Romney shows his Tax documents and proves the DCCC wrong. To those that say it's up to the DCCC to have proof, that's not how the GOP mouthpieces have seen it with their denouncements including the birther issue which they wore down to the bone even after the President presented proof. Nonetheless, a potential felon like Arpaio is still blathering about it. I have seen allegations thrown out by GOPs like Bachmann and Limbaugh just to see what sticks and nary an apology from their lips.
Wait! If any misleading or false statements are made by the Romney campaign in coming months, I apologize and regret them in advance, and wish to retract those statements. There ya go. It's all good now. What? It only works for democrats? Demi, Reid lied, there is no integrity there. If he can show a source like an IRS agent or Romney's tax man, then I will jump on board your train. Reid should conduct himself with more dignity than this.
How can a president not be an actor?
Ronald Reagan
Mitt has acquired the persona of a humorless man forced into a defensive posture. He is not viewed as likable. He has to break out of his buttoned up defensive persona to succeed.
Wake up woman! You're napping while our country is being destroyed by the ultimate liar!
