NBC's Mark Murray and Domenico Montanaro discuss what we learned from Mitt Romney's week long overseas trip.

Not a minute too soon!

We couldn't endure another day of the Willard's whacked out performance overseas!

This guy isn't even "not ready for prime time player" worthy...

If Team Willard thinks this trip was a success, I would hate to see what they consider a failure! lol

If this is what we can expect from Romney on foreign policy. Look out!

And just when we were starting to repair our reputation around the world.

Thanks, Mitt!

I guess the floor exercise is actually a pretty good analogy. I mean, it's very much choreographed in advance, but no matter how many times you rehearse the choreography, you still have to think quick on your feet and adapt as necessary. It requires elements of both strength and balance, and whether it should or not, it probably helps to sway the judges if you get the crowd on your side. Did Romney do any of that? Not really. And it's always great if you can have something new and unique that gives it that "Wow!" factor. Unfortunately, I didn't see any new moves on this trip that future candidates will be working into their own routines and scoring points for doing a "Romney". Oh, and despite all the spring that's built into the floor, I don't see him getting much of a "bounce" from this routine.

Finally, just like in presidential politics, you only get a shot an Olympic medal in this sport every four years. "Playing it safe" is only a good strategy when you already have an insurmountable lead.

But hey, I'll bet the pilot on his plane ride home really stuck his landing! :)

He's not fit to even be in the same room! At least that group knows how to deliver a perfectly timed line. Not an unperfectly timed stutter and gaffe.

Still reeling over THREE questions! I'm sure the traveling press corps is just a wee bit mad at that one as well. He sure didn't make any friends with them!

Romney needs to go ahead and announce his VP pick to take the focus off his Euro-gaffs, tax returns, off-shore accounts, and dancing pony! His campaign may proclaim the trip a success, but what else could they say? It's no wonder he won't talk to the press - he distances himself from the masses with every off-script comment.

Three strikes and Romney is out.

Poland didn't turn out so well either. Reporters had virtually been ignored and wanted to ask some questions. Romeny aid Rick Gorka, after some words told reporters to stop asking questions (Which is their job) and "kiss my ass".

Later Stuart Stevens said, "The trip was a great success". What he should have said was, the trip was a great success for the Democrats back in the States.

On his one and only foreign trip Romney earned an "F-".

Back in the USA … so will he clear up a few domestic issues ?

Mitt Romney – The Great Decider
He won't specify which tax loopholes he'd close
He won't say which federal agencies he'd eliminate
He won't say whether he'd support the Paycheck Fairness Act
He won't say whether he supports the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act
He won't say whether he'd support full reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act

Mitt Romney – The transparent candidate
He won't say why he made dozens of trips to Bain between 1999 and 2002
He won't release past tax returns as his father did
He won't tell us why he approved a $75 million investment in an abortion affiliated business
He won't release the names of his bundlers
He won't tell us why he took all the hard drives with him when left the Governorship
He won't tell us how he "lost" all his records from the 2002 Winter Olympics

Kudos to Mitt Romney for pointing out the obvious. Inferior cultures DO result in inferior economic performance and all-round poor quality of life for most members of that culture. Palistinians? Screw them. Their culture of glorifying death and suicide bombers is indicative of their inferiority as members of the ahem..."world community". Any tiny little shred of sympathy I had for them went out the window when I saw them cheering and celebrating on 9/11/2001. Again, screw them.

We also have groups in THIS country who are of an inferior culture. Mainly poor whites and large amounts of Blacks and Hispanics. Chicago will soon have a bigger body count than Afghanistan. No surprise. 75% of Black children are born fatherless. The number is rising among poor Whites and Hispanics too. This causes "poor economic performance" among these groups.

And to all you whiny saps looking to pull your beloved race card; I did NOT say "inferior PEOPLE". I said they are people who practice an inferior CULTURE. Only an idoit or a liberal would deny this.

You shouldn't talk that way about fat, white Americans who can't pinpoint their own state on a map. So what if their kids grow dumber every year, falling behind the world in math and science. So what if their culture worships buring fossil fuels, even as the heat burns up the corn they subsist on. I'm sure God loves this culture the best!

Lemme guess. You also support the Palistinians and their culture of death?

You know it is really hard to be an economic superpower when tanks go rolling over your villages. Tank tread marks are inimical to any marketplace. Also, the inability to travel does impede commerce. So just rub it in their face, Mitt. You are a diplomat. You are still working on getting that wet dream right. Here's a tip: shut up your bobble head from time to time.

Proper foreign diplomacy requires knowing when to keep your mouth shut, and your divisive opinions to yourself. Mister Romney failed the supreme test of foreign policy by not keeping his yap shut.

I almost bet he did it on purpose, much like his intentional baiting at the NAACP conference. Either that, or he has the crappiest speech writers, and he fails at reading comprehension.

Be supportive, be encouraging, but don't analyze (falsely) in the great wide open the "superiority" of some over others (unless you're in the smoking room at the Skull and Bones clubhouse.)

    Mitt's an idiot.

The Willard of Oz should bestow a brain to Stuart Stevens, one of his top aides, as soon as possible. If Stevens believes Romneys overseas trip was a "great success" he is either a highly delusional individual or needs a boost in his mental capacity. Romney came across as a bumbling, fumbling, totally inept person and if he happened to be armed we would be hopeful the bullets were in his pocket. Otherwise there would be a good chance someone would get shot. LOL As far as the upcoming presidential debates I look forward to some comical responses as Mitt the Twitt ( I read that somewhere lately ) attempts to field very difficult questions without a teleprompter in front of him.

Black pastors group launches anti-Obama campaign around gay marriage

    By Dan Merica, CNN

Washington (CNN) – A group of conservative black pastors are responding to President Barack Obama’s support of same-sex marriage with what they say will be a national campaign aimed at rallying black Americans to rethink their overwhelming support of the President, though the group’s leader is offering few specifics about the effort.

The Rev. Williams Owens, who is president and founder of the Coalition of African-Americans Pastors and the leader of the campaign, has highlighted opposition to same-sex marriage among African-Americans. He calls this campaign “an effort to save the family.”

“The time has come for a broad-based assault against the powers that be that want to change our culture to one of men marrying men and women marrying women,” said Owens, in an interview Tuesday after the launch event at the National Press Club. “I am ashamed that the first black president chose this road, a disgraceful road.”

At the press conference, Owens was joined by five other black regional pastors and said there were 3,742 African-American pastors on board for the anti-Obama campaign.

When asked at the press conference for specifics about the campaign – funding, planned events and goals – Owens said only that the group’s first fundraiser will be on August 16 in Memphis, Tennessee. But Owens insisted that “we are going to go nationwide with our agenda just like the president has gone to Hollywood.”

Looks like the Rattlesnakes are beginning to commit suicide! The decision to pander to the Hispanic vote added 800,000 illegal aliens to the job market in the black 18-30 demographic where the unemployment rate is 40%! Now he's abandoned a major part of the leadership in his own black constituency... All decisions made out of desperation of a failed presidency and a failing president!!!

Talk about @!$%#ting in your hat!!!

    Romney 2012!!! Yeah Baby!!!

There are about 15% of the blacks that vote for the repuke freaks. This will not change.

You should emulate your ignorant party leaders dope, and heed their warnings. They know far more about tax evading, draft dodging lyin Willardo than you do. Wake up dope.

All braindead pathetic right wing radical cracked teanuts should listen to your leaders.

Rick the Dick Santarium has brainwashed his followers, the evangelical Children of the Corn zombies and the gay rapist, pedophile catholic priests that lyin' Willardo is a member of an evil cult and is the anti-christ. He also told them that lyin Willardo is the worst person in history to ever run for the presidency, can't be trusted and will destroy our country. Groper Nutquist, the boss of the right wing cracked teanuts and Nut Gingerhead, trhe criminal lobbyist, totally agreed with the last three assessments.

So most of the evangelical sheep will probably stay home on election day or some may even vote for Obama. They are totally scared to death of lyin Willardo, the Mexican Mormon Moron tax evader, bankrupter, job outsourcer, draft dodger and Etch A Sketch champion.

If this repuke draft dodger ever became president, and war broke out in the middle east, he will be putting his dog on the top of his car and fleeing to his birthplace in Tijuana and hide in one of his 4 grandmammmy's (father's side only) outhouses.

Obama/Biden in 2012. Yeah! you braindead repuke dopes.

He went there only because he is losing the jewish vote here, by a whopping 65% to 25% (latest Gallup Poll) margin. After this blundering dope's trip to Israel, I am sure this lead has widened.
