Goodness. Never thought I would say this. Romney makes Dubya look smart - at least in international affairs. Mr. Romney has no style or thought or couth. Quick, need to call the nurse for more drugs! This must be some weird dream!

Romney makes Dubya look smart - at least in international affairs. Mr. Romney has no style or thought or couth.

So how cool is it to have an administration that won't even acknowledge a friend's own capital?

What would you think if Mexico refused to acknowledge Washington D.C. as our capital?

What would you think if Mexico was telling us we couldn't build in our own capital?

What would you think if Mexico was saying we should go back to our borders in 1776 or whatever?

Uh ...oh.

In light of this Administration giving the Mexican drug cartels 2,500 assault rifles resulting in the death s of hundreds of innocent Mexican citizens, they might not but the best example.

But on the other hand, find a better example of "international affairs" supidity.

It is getting harder for the liberal media to spin Obama's 1 term into a success. Sooner or later common sense always wins out. The next President will have alot of work to clean up the mess Obama's policies left. I'm looking forward to having a man in the White House who knows who really builds businesses. I wonder how Chik-fi-la's founder ever got this far not supporting gay marriage? Amazing you can build a business on conservative values like traditional marriage and no debt.... I agree with Domenico on his statement regarding swing voters. What has this trip accomplished for Romney to sway any voters to his side?

So far, from what I have heard, Romney has made some very disparaging remarks that have cost him rather than help his cause.

He is now on his third and (hopefully) last stop overseas. I hope this is his last stop because he could cause irreparable harm if he continues to visit more countries. He angered the British when he was there. He didn't know what the capitol of Israel is. He pissed off the Palestinians with his remarks about Israel having a superior culture to Palestine.

So what's in store in Poland today? What gaffe will he make today that will make for comical relief tomorrow? Perhaps some tired old polish jokes to their top people? Who knows?

The point is, he's not picking up any additional voters and is causing people in other countries to get upset with his statements. Hardly presidential.

Ah, seeking nuance.

Was that what Chuck Todd was doing last week when he admitted that the latest NBC poll had wildly skewed numbers?

Was that what the Commerce Department was doing when 1.5% GDP was announced?

We know that Obama is furiously trying to nuance his stupid speech in Roanoke, where he opened his yap and truth fell out.

Of course, the king of nuance, Bill Clinton, has pulled the wool over the eyes of liberals once again- think anybody at all will miss the comparison between his terms of office, and Obama's? Cause, I don't. And neither does he.

No, I don't think the problem is that Romney lacks "nuance". I think the problem is that liberals spin, twist, and mangle all of Obama's failures, and tell themselves that is taking a "nuanced view".

Obama is still, however, and unmitigated disaster as president- and no amount of nuance can change any of that.

Only the electorate can do that- and will.

Yep, having the entire Middle East blow up and expect our young people to clean up the mess is just the ticket, Bob.

The fact is that Obama changed the whole Mid East negotiations from talks about 2 independent states living side by side to a point of no negotiations - only demands by Palestinians tantamount to a war.

How could the amateur have screwed it up worse?

Iran, the largest state sponsor of terrorism is closer to the bomb, a past friend / stabalizing country in the region, Egypt is now controlled by a terrorist organization, we have alienated friends like the Saudis, Syria is slaughtering its citizens and threatening to use weapons of mass destruction while after Obama's "reset" with Russia, Russia sends special forces and more attack helicopters ...

How do we pay for another war (not just by borrowing from the Chinese)

Why can libs not grasp the simple understanding that the reason you have a coherent foreign policy and a strong military is so you don't have to go to another war ... so our kids don't have to clean up a future mess?

nomoresameo -- Agreed. The main objective for Team Romney was to attend fund raisers, and make it look like a foreign policy trip -- kind of like other candidates and book tours? And of course photo-ops like Romney at the Western Wall in Israel to appeal to Jewish voters. He had hoped to show off his Olympics savvy, but that went awry.

The main problem for Romney is his "business experience" does him absolutely NO good in regard to most of the job description for POTUS, Commander in Chief, and leader of the free world. As a long-time CEO, Romney therefore only knows how to pander to the immediate "clients" in his attempt to close a deal, and that doesn't work in politics.

Romney's really lame response about whether he's ever paid a tax rate below 13.9% was not only weak, but also odd in it's circular lack of logic about use of loopholes as a qualification to be POTUS. It only convinced me what he has paid in tax rates IS one reason he won't release 8-10 years of tax returns.

I would also like to know what Romney REALLY thought about the 11 minute Olympics show praising the UK health care system, and the lowered health care costs in Israel due to their system that is even more liberal than Romneycare. Both of these valued democratic allies and their beloved universal health care, oh my.

Snow White, Superman and Pinocchio where walking down the street. They came upon a sign that said "Beauty Contest Inside" and Snow White said "I'm going to enter!". Snow goes inside, and a while later comes out holding the trophy and exclaiming "I won!". So the trio continues their walk and they come up to a sign that says "Strongman Contest Inside". Superman says "I'm going to enter!" Several minutes later Superman walks out holding an even bigger trophy and proudly states "I won!!". The three continue their stroll and come upon a sign that says "Lying Contest Inside". Pinocchio exactly exclaims "I'm going to enter!". Time goes on for a while until Pinocchio, head down, tears running from his eyes, no trophy, and walks out to his friends and mournfully asks "Who the heck is Barack Obama?".

I believe it was Obama that insulted the Polish people and had the Polish government calling for an apology when he mentioned the "Polish death camps" while awarding the Medal of Freedom to the late Jan Karski, a Polish born US Citizen. You would think a Columbia and Harvard educated individual would have know that there were no "Polish death camps", however, there were "Nazi death camps" in Poland.

BTW, I would not call Russia a close friend. Russia, under Putin, will and is trying to do everything possible to try and regain the days of the USSR.

Bob in VA: "NBC's Olympic coverage included opening ceremonies showing shameful British propaganda about their socialized health care system, NHS."

"Shameful"? "Propaganda"? The Brits seemed justifiable proud of their opening ceremony. But you want to compare them to the 1936 Olympics?

"Adolf Hitler, who was not a sports fan, had been lukewarm toward the whole idea of hosting the 1936 Olympics. It had taken some effort by Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels to convince him that the Olympic festivities could be exploited to advance the Nazi cause both inside and outside of Germany.

The Games had been awarded to Germany by the International Olympic Committee back in May 1931, before Hitler came to power. It was the second time the modern Olympics were scheduled to be held in Germany. The 1916 Olympics scheduled for Berlin were canceled due to World War I.

The Nazi administration spent 42 million Reichmarks building an impressive 325-acre Olympics sports complex located about five miles west of Berlin. This was the same site that had been chosen for the canceled 1916 Games. The centerpiece of the new sports complex was the gigantic Olympic Stadium built of natural stone which could seat 110,000 spectators. Inside this stadium, the world's largest, there was a special seating area built for Hitler and top Nazis. "

"The banning of non-Aryans from Germany's Olympic team was condemned internationally as a violation of the Olympic code of equality and fair play. The Olympics were intended to be an exercise in goodwill among all nations emphasizing racial equality in the area of sports competition. The Nazis, however, had no interest in promoting racial equality and hoped instead to use the Olympics to show off Aryan athletes, whom they believed were naturally superior because of their race."

The opening ceremony of the XI Olympic Games was held on Saturday, August 1, 1936, inside the Olympic Stadium, which was jammed to capacity. Unfortunately, the Germans did not get the usual sunny 'Führer weather' which always seemed to accompany big Nazi events, but instead got a cloudy day with occasional rain showers. Hitler and his entourage, along with the Olympic officials, walked into the stadium amid a chorus of three thousand Germans singing the Deutschland Über Alles national anthem followed by the Horst Wessel Lied Nazi anthem."

Now THAT's some "shameless propaganda"......

"It is the Economy Stupid"

This mantra worked for Bill Clinton, but its funny to hear people use this phase today as it works for everyone..

"It is the Economy Stupid"

- focus on anything that strengthen the economy and builds jobs

- Hmm... so that's defense spending, because the Armed services ( yes.. branches of the government) employee people, and purchase weapons from Defense contractors who in turn...yes, employ people

- Remove regulations because setting minimum regualtion requirements cost money that could be spent on, yes..hiring people. This works right until someone pops a hole in the gulf of Mexico and then we say "where are the regulators?"

- Plan a strategy to go to the Moon/Mars ( you pick 'em ) because NASA employs ( you guessed it ) people and this is good for the economy. Nevermind that U.S. citizens go hungry at night as we look to the heavens.

- Kill all unions because uniting workers mean that we will have to pay them more and means 'less' hiring, so bad for the economy. Then we cry and complain when we buy crap from China ( no unions there !) that has too much lead in it.

- Kill Medicaid/Medicare because it turns out that it cost too much and government spending is bad for the economy and , lets' face it, old people will die soon anyway so....

- Give tax breaks to everyone because the more money that people have, the more they spend. Don't worry..China has money we can borrow!!

- Why spend money on education? We can import smart folks from other countries and well, companies will hire then and that's good for the economy too....wait? you're hiring smart people but in China/India????

- I guess going after Osama Bin Laden was a bad idea because it didnt help the economy any did it?

It's a lot more complicated than "Its the Economy Stupid". At best, that is the lowest common denominator

    Great Post! Pablo.

No puedes ser Cubano ni puedes ser Dominicano. You can not be Cuban nor Dominican, because most of them will not vote for Obama. PuertorRicans, which reside heavily in Orlando are a 50 percent for Obama and 50% will not vote for him. I'm assuming that you are form South America.

If you think that the economy is the lowest demominator, than you must be for Big Government.

Pablo, te fuiste de tu paiz para ser libre y properar, ahora quieres que este paiz se ponga malo tambien.

      FAMOUS LAST WORDS:

"There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me -- because they want to give something back," he began, defending his policy of higher tax rates on high earners. "They know they didn't -- look, if you've been successful, you didn't get there on your own. You didn't get there on your own. I'm always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something -- there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there.

"If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you've got a business -- you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen."

Mitt the Half Witt ,armed with hair clippers for any gays who get in his way and a long rope to tie up dog carriers to the top of his vehicle , a bolt of velvet material to design hats for his team of dressage riders and a metal box to keep his tax returns [which he has never over payed] safe , he stumbles and bumbles where ever he goes . His team is tired and hungry after a long and productive trip to England to show the Brit's how to run the Olympics. A feeling of relief is happening , '" STRAIGHT up ahead a safe place to eat a Chic Filet is in his sight .
