"Mitt Romney SOARS in Polls after Leaving the Country!" per the Onion

That's beautiful Feisty. Thanks for pointing out how many Americans feel about Romney. He is getting his best support from Americans when he leaves the country.

All the while he is making a fool of himself and the GNOP as his unpopularity grows among the Euro nations. This is something everybody should be focusing on. If he were elected, our popularity with the rest of the world would be flushed down the toilet faster than the crap he emits everyday.

NO LIMIT to how far Romney/GOP/Koch will go on behalf of the top 0.01% income earners in this country. He will bad-mouth our foreign policy successes and our President, or whatever it takes on their behalf, while he is out of the country.

What an effing patriot.

Are GOpP-ers here just repeating the Faux Entertainers no matter what? What is in it for them? Are they in that top bracket? If not, they should get ready to take a dive if they let corporate America and billiionaires like Adelson choose the government that best serves THEiR SHORT-TERM PROFITS.

Republican obstruction efforts around the debt-ceiling led to the first-ever credit downgrade of the United States ........and cost the federal government $1.3 Billion in increased borrowing costs.

GOP has held this country hostage to tax breaks for the wealthy repeatedly, and will do so again whenever they get the chance.

GOP attempts to repeal Obamacare 30 times cost America at least $50 million and two weeks' congressional pay.

And all the while they spew garbage about "Austerity".

Problem? What problem [other than the awesome sample, eh Mark Murray?]

So you got you a poll that is comprised of 46% dems and 35% repubs.

Now I know some of my libbie friends hate math, but the simple fact is you got an 11 point dem over sample, but only a 6 point lead for O.

How terribly horrible for team blue.

Oh and on a related note - you all see that GM stock is at a new low and our unrealized loss on the bailout is now at $35 billion?

Oh and did you all happen to catch that home sales plummeted 8% in June?

YIKES!

Talking about going off the telepromter. Did Romney really call Obama - corrupt? "Including this corrupt president..." Has he apologized or clarified his context?

A new low for him right before he goes on a foreign trip. Hopefully he gets his notes right while he is in Israel and elsewhere. He better not cause damaging foreign relation nightmares by letting his verbal gaffes or true intentions out of the bag.

From July 2012 speech Romney made.

"There are a lot of people in government who help us and allow us to have an economy that works and allow entrepreneurs and business leaders of various kinds to start businesses and create jobs.

We all recognize that. That's an important thing.... I know that you recognize that a lot of people help you in a business. Perhaps the banks, the investors. There's no question your mom and dad. Your school teachers. The people that provide roads, the fire, and the police. A lot of people help."

RedDev........part of the link you posted says:

Seizing on the remark to criticize a lack of leadership in Washington, Romney added that Carr “led the talk of America being in decline.”

“See that’s not talk we hear about here as much as they’re hearing there. And if they’re thinking about investing in America, entrepreneurs putting their future in America, if they think America’s in decline, they’re not gonna do it,” Romney said.

Australian officials released a statement Monday clarifying Carr’s comments, which were made during the first meeting between a senior Australian official and Romney since he became the GOP’s presumptive presidential nominee.

“The foreign minister’s remarks represent a considered assessment of the U.S. economy and an antidote to talk of U.S. declinism,” said Kim Beazley, Australia’s ambassador to the United States.

He said Carr has identified increasing U.S. energy competitiveness and continued inventiveness coming from Silicon Valley “as a sound base for the next progression in the U.S. economy.”

The issue comes as Romney works to polish his international credentials. The former Massachusetts governor leaves later this week on an international tour that includes stops in England, Israel and Poland.

Romney’s campaign declined to further characterize the meeting with Carr, which they said came at Carr’s request.

Carr’s office said he briefed Romney on Australia’s role in Afghanistan, in addition to Australia’s plans for Afghan education, support for women, rural employment and government capability.

The pair also “exchanged views on the Australian-American alliance, with Gov. Romney indicating that Australia had no firmer friend than the United States,” according to Carr’s office.

If this is an example of what Romney and his advisors will do in the foreign policy department, one has to wonder about his diplomatic skills in addition to his listening skills, then we can anticipate more blunders.

    @GingerBreadMamma:

No kidding. Can you imagine a phone call with Iran, and Iran telling us they have no intention of engaging in war, and Romney hangs up the phone proclaiming "Iran has declared War!!".

On a more serious note, it is disturbing to think that Romney follows his usual tactic of taking statements out of context to make a false ad at the expense of driving a wedge in foreign relations. Apparently, nothing is off limits to this candidate. Can you imagine if Obama made this type of claim based upon this article:

Yeah .. the only thing missing from that 'Casino' scene was a fancy-prancy-horsie dancing over her bed. Speaking of movies, can't wait for 'Willard - Part II', where Mitts the 'Kingpin' rat has moved to the Cayman's and while sitting on the beach atop mounds of cash, watches through teary eyes as his poor, poor wife endures physical therapy atop her fancy-prancy-dancing-horsie. Of course, we the audience, know the tears are not tears of empathy, rather they are tears of loss because his piles of cash are no longer earning interest from the long-gone LIBOR manipulators.

Unfortunately, there is so much hate mongering on Democratic side of the isle, especially in the homosexual community, that we were bound to see Newton's third law come into play sooner or later and it is evidenced in some of these posts.

Obama's moral corruption is destined to create friction in the mind of any principled American. Interestingly, just when I personally thought Obama could not become any more morally corrupt, I recently learned he has made yet another Faustian deal with the devil. In this case, he has appointed the "King Of Gay Pornography" to his campaign finance committee, patted him on the back and told him to keep up the good work.

Barack Obama has made it clear he plans to continue with his war on America, the Catholic Church, US Christians, success, small business and American socioeconomic thinking! As a result, this is creating backlash, even from within his own party. Conservatives like to complain that Barack Obama is the most liberal president we've ever had, a closet Marxist who's determined to turn America into a socialist hell and that his despotic socialist agenda is the big lie of the twentieth century. Historians realize world history provides compelling proof that Obama's brand of socialism promised prosperity, equality, and security, but has only delivered poverty, misery, and tyranny. Historically, equality was achieved only in the sense that everyone was equal in his or her misery!

Those historic facts aside, Obama has crafted a shrewd campaign from a worldly perspective. Of note is the fact a significant portion of his campaign strategy was based on development of strategic alliances with many of the most godless and morally debased segments of our society in a thinly veiled effort to secure votes from those "the Obama administration believes" to be one dimensional, intellectually compromised, single issue constituencies. Many in this group had the misfortune of growing up in a broken home. The resulting dysfunction in these homes leads to emotional instability, mental illness and severe narcissism producing a common thread and liberal bias.

Beyond requisite intellectual acumen, our upcoming president MUST have a strong moral foundation and acute, politically savvy awareness the principles of prudent governance. Unfortunately for America, Obama's morally vapid strategic political alliances clearly disqualify him from this hallowed leadership role. For that reason, more and more moderate and conservative principled members of the democratic party believe they must abandon Obama's candidacy and their party line vote for the long term good of our country! Essentially, they believe it is best to retreat and return to fight another day when the Democratic party can submit a candidate who is willing to uphold traditional American values rather than to attempt to destroy the country from within.

The bottom line is, the Presidency is not an honorary position, it requires skill and experince. Why would you replace the guy who kept the economy afloat after the collapse of 2008, who has flown to Afghanistan to negotiate with Karzai, and has relationships with the world's leaders? Why would we scratch that and start over with a guy who has as little experience with foreign policy or the national economy as Romney?

It is unbelievable people still think this economy is Obama's fault. It is the current Congress' fault, as they are ht ones charged with legislating, taxes and economic future programs. Obama has litle if any control. Obama has tried everything he could to effect some actions for the economy. but the drag comes from confrontational irrational TEA-Republican's who are intent on limiting every good effort of the president. The TEA-Republican party slam Obama, yet RomneyCare, now called Obama Care, received the sanctioning from the highest court in the land, and TEA-Republican's still cannot accept it. The PPACA(Health Care Act) has already benefited the people in insurance coverage for children, extending insurance over pre-existing conditions and making insurance companies use 80 to 85 percent of monies collected for insureds rather than compensation for CEO' and CFO's. And now the CBO says the renamed RomneyCare, PPACA(Health Care Act), will save money. How outstanding is that?

They get to keep 15% of what you pay. What is better for an insurance company collecting 15% of $1.00 or 15% of $2.00? Now, what is better for you. Paying $1.00 or paying $2.00? Do you think the goal is now to lower what you pay or raise what you pay??? Go ahead it's ok, we already know the answer. (Credit: CBS)
(CBS News) The National Debt has now increased more during President Obama's three years and two months in office than it did during 8 years of the George W. Bush presidency.

The Debt rose $4.899 trillion during the two terms of the Bush presidency. It has now gone up $4.939 trillion since President Obama took office.

The latest posting from the Bureau of Public Debt at the Treasury Department shows the National Debt now stands at $15.566 trillion. It was $10.626 trillion on President Bush's last day in office, which coincided with President Obama's first day.

The National Debt also now exceeds 100% of the nation's Gross Domestic Product, the total value of goods and services.

Mr. Obama has been quick to blame his predecessor for the soaring Debt, saying Mr. Bush paid for two wars and a Medicare prescription drug program with borrowed funds.

The federal budget sent to Congress last month by Mr. Obama, projects the National Debt will continue to rise as far as the eye can see. The budget shows the Debt hitting $16.3 trillion in 2012, $17.5 trillion in 2013 and $25.9 trillion in 2022.

Federal budget records show the National Debt once topped 121% of GDP at the end of World War II. The Debt that year, 1946, was, by today's standards, a mere $270 billion dollars.

Mr. Obama doesn't mention the National Debt much, though he does want to be seen trying to reduce the annual budget deficit, though it's topped a trillion dollars for four years now.

As part of his "Win the Future" program, Mr. Obama called for "taking responsibility for our deficits, by cutting wasteful, excessive spending wherever we find it."

His latest budget projects a $1.3 trillion deficit this year declining to $901 billion in 2012, and then annual deficits in the range of $500 billion to $700 billion in the 10 years to come.

If Mr. Obama wins re-election, and his budget projections prove accurate, the National Debt will top $20 trillion in 2016, the final year of his second term. That would mean the Debt increased by 87 percent, or $9.34 trillion, during his two terms.

        2) During Obama's entire term of office, no budgets have been passed.

        3) None of Obama's budget proposals have received the first vote from his own party.

        John...how's this for a fact:

Obama's administration sponsored Illegal Assault Weapons by the thousands being made available to Mexican drug lords and gangs and some have already been directly connected to the murders of American citizens. Obama is protecting his Attorney General's direct connection to this crime by 'executive privilege'. AND.... he has the nerve to declare his war on a gun culture of which he has been an important part of!

There has always been an undecided problem and always will be. Some people just cant seem to find a justification for voting either way while. Most everybody can find at least on thing that they feel strong about but the undecided just dont care and some of them want somebody to beg them for their vote.

According to political adviser to Bill Clinton, Dick Morris, who has studied hundreds of polls over the years, the vast majority of those who claim to be undecided until just before an election, rarely vote for the incumbent.

Dick Morris is a political anaylist who is taking the political pulse of America daily. He is predicting a landslide for Romney in November.

Now we all know that America is divided up into little and big interest groups from all the various states and regions.

We have the seniors, the very young, students, Catholics, Evangelicals, Mormons, women, blacks, Latinos, Muslims, Asians, military personnel, the disabled, gays, liberals and conservatives, educated and illiterate, and so on and so on.

When Obama tries to pander to one group, he alienates another. That's to be expected, but when he fails this badly on the economy....for four years straight, he negatively affects all of us. This is why all his pandering is not worth an ounce of spit. He is toast, burnt toast that no one wants to eat anymore.

Couple Obama's stupidity and ineptitude with his almost unbelievable arrogance, and you have a recipe for continuous and increasing disaster.

Obama, the error that keeps getting worse.

You give too much credit to Romney. He exposed himself as a $10,000 idiot during the GOP debates. If Mitt is stupid enough to cross intellectual swords with President Obama in a nationally televised debate, he will be going home that night carrying his testicles in a doggy bag.

Small Arms Treaty Will Take Your Grandfathers handed down Shotgun. Thanks Obama & Hilary :) No more 2nd Amendment for those angry Americans to think they can protect themselves or go hunting on Thanksgiving Morning. The bill wont be announced until after the Election. I understand, the last thing you want is people to know your true intentions. Nice Job Barry..Americans keep their head buried in the distractions day to day while this gets swept under the rug until the perfect timing. The Global Government..(UN) along with 500,000 hollow points and 400,000 coffins along with DHS and all the newly created TSA agents obviously wont have a problem helping with the Gun Confiscation. Its nice to see the future Capitol of the New World Order Denver is just about all set to go. Many of the Government extensions have been slowly moving to the area. The murals in the Airport are a story in themselves. I like the one with the child destroying weapons the most. Im glad the only man that ran this term that cared about Freedom was kicked to the curb. The last thing the NWO want is people with power to get in the way of dreams that are against the American People. He is still doing what he promised so I give him credit, after all nobody ever got a new car did they. I dont think that MSN is on this one yet. It should be on the front page. They are probably counting there penny`s looking for ways to end the audit!

A bipartisan bill requiring broader operational audits of the U.S. Federal Reserve passed the House on Wednesday by a broad bipartisan margin.

The bill passed 327 to 98; all but one Republican and 89 Democrats voted yes. The bill will be considered under the suspension of normal House rules, meaning it required at least a two-thirds majority to pass.

The measure would permit government auditors to conduct deeper audits of the Fed’s monetary policy operations. Despite opposition from some Democrats and the Federal Reserve, the bill has at least 274 cosponsors, including more than three dozen Democrats facing difficult reelection campaigns.

Wednesday’s vote was a coup for its chief sponsor, Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.), a longtime nemesis of the Fed, which he has called “an enormously destructive and unaccountable force in both the U.S. economy and the greater global economy.”

Lawmakers agreed to expanded audits of the Federal Reserve during negotiations over a financial regulatory reform measure in 2010. The agreement granted the Government Accountability Office broad authority to examine the operations of the Fed and to require additional disclosures from the central bank, including examinations of the Fed’s discount window and its purchases and sales of government securities.

At the time, Democrats and Republicans alike hailed the agreement as an effort to make the nation’s monetary policymaker a more transparent organization. But in years since, Paul and members of both parties said Congress deserves an opportunity to conduct deeper investigations of the Fed to better understand policy decisions.

House Democratic leaders oppose the bill, but said they don’t plan to whip the vote — or force most members to vote the party line. House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said Tuesday that the measure “increases the likelihood that the Fed will make decisions based on political rather than economic considerations, and that is not a recipe for sound monetary policy.”

For his part, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke didn’t express explicit opposition to the bill, but said last week that the agency “needs to be transparent and it needs to be accountable.”

“We are quite transparent and accountable on monetary policy,” Bernanke told the House Financial Services Committee last week. “Besides our statement, besides our testimonies, we issue minutes after three weeks. We have quarterly projections, I give a press conference four times a year, there’s quite a bit of information provided to help Congress evaluate monetary policy as well as the public.”

Even with broad bipartisan support in the House, aides said the bill is unlikely to be considered in the Democratic-controlled Senate.

TSA To Snatch Arms! Simple..They create this big illusion that our Airports are under attack..911..bring in all these agents that have proven to prevent nothing other than abuse citizens. Now they are moving slowly into our communities at checkpoint..why does the TSA wear a blue uniform. UN agents. The Small Arms Treaty gets assistance from the UN to take our guns..we are being attacked and so many people are too stupid to open their eyes.

Create this illusion that our Country is under attack on 911 using Jet Airliners. Bring in the TSA to protect the airports. Move them into communities in the eyes of safety. Prepare to Take American Citizens Arms through the small Arms Treaty that the UN has already passed. The UN is going to assist in the Removal of ALL guns protected by our 2nd Amendment. The To Snatch Arms (TSA) agents wear a Blue Uniform Correct? All UN officers do! The DHS has purchased 500,000 rounds of hollow points and 400,000 coffins knowing this is not going to be an easy task. They have the Capitol of the New World Order Denver prepared. Research and you will see many branches of the Government have been slowly moving to the Denver area. FEMA camps in place for those who refuse to give up their guns but don`t die for the 2nd Amendment.

Please excuse this small interruption and continue to play the left right game.

obamas main problem are his failed policies and the economy is dropping as we head into Nov If the economy was DOING FINE as he falsely said then he would easily get reelected but alas,,iits not. Romney will win this as easy as Reagan beatCarter another POTUS that failed but the people Liked ,the center Right which is about 60% of the electorate during a bad Dem economy like 1980. Romneys taxes and Bain Capital are not harming him as we see Rasmussen (THE only accurate Poll every election cycle) has Romney 47%-44% and those are awfull numbers for an incumbent 9% are undecided and those almost always go against the incumbent and obamas campaign Knows this Romney/Whoever is looking more and more Likely.

Has anyone ever watched Space Balls - This should remind you of the scene when Lord Dark Helmet is playing with his dolls.

Mitt Romney dressed up in a Princess Leia outfit " No Mittens you really shouldn't be playing with my light saber like that. Someone may see you and think that I am not a man and you are really in charge. Stop it Mittens!"

Mittens dressed up in a Garmorian Guard outfit and talking deeply " Yes Mitt Leia, I do enjoy playing with your light saber. It makes me feel....it makes me feel MANLY."

Erice Cantor dressed up in robes walks in on them.

Mit and Mittens "Oh Boney Face has arrived."

Eric begins to cry "The Democrats took my Cheerios again Mitt Leia."

Mit and Mittens "Oh Boney Face lets have a hug. Tomorrow morning Mitt with bankrupt the Cheerios Factory and buy for it for you, Ok?"

Cantor sniffles and wipes a tear from his cheek "Uh Huh."

The room suddenly goes quiet and dark as a deep breath is heard as Rush Limbaughs eyes glow with fury.

Eric, Mitt and Mittens all sigh with exhaltations "Ah the Blubb - O - Nator has arrived, he will surely be able to defeat......HIM."

*Somewhere else deep in the dungeons of Lythicalia

"You know we shouldn't be doing this?"

"My Husband did it and look how he turned out."

......."Mittens give me my light saber back"

"Your....your.....helmet is so big Lord HIM."

Next week the Pope seranades a flock of goats hoping to convert them to Catholiscm.

                  Until then.

                  "HOW MUCH?!"

                  Blubbero Blubbery Blubberling along.
