Some days it is hard to fight. Today is one of them. Lost my chemo buddy yesterday. Classy lady. Makes me a little afraid in my own batttle.

It always lowers the mood in the chemo room when we lose one. We are like a family. We have a cry, group hug, and positive conversation with the pshrinks afterwards. The shrinks cause more headaches, in my mind, than the cry and hugs. But maybe that's just me.
Alan - I saw that. Rare that a sitting senator accuses the Pres of treason, which is exactly what Fienstein seems to have done.
So which on of our intrepid First Read reporters will be first to report?

Sorry to hear about your group's loss. Never had chemo, but it was sorta the same way in the radiation waiting room - seeing the same people every day for six weeks, all sitting around in those silly hospital gowns, makes family out of perfect strangers really fast. We were blessed, though, to be able to have the occasional "up" goodbye for those who reached their 30th visit and moved on. But the losses never got any easier. Funny, of all the things we used to talk about and learn about each other and our families, we somehow never had a minute to argue politics. So little time and so many more important things.....anyway, here's a big {{{hug}}} and I'll see if I can stop by Bahama Breeze and get you a lemon ginger mojito to go.

Chemo is indeed rough medicine, it sorta has the attitude of 'take no prisoners' (lol) as it courses through your system attacking the enemy...... My adventure with chemo is now about 12 years in the rear view mirrow.....but remember it, I do......and {{{Hugs to you}}}!
Wonder if Romney will follow the old adage of leaving parisan politics at home? Glad to see the "tone" changing. Hope both sides do it. If I seem a little off today, just lost a good friend, and realize all the negativity serves no purpose. Please, everyone, hug someone today and tell them you love them. Thanks

Sure do. I start with my wife and son, everyday. Even when they are upset with me or I with them. They just seem to make all of this crap seem so small.

According to the pre-speech release, Romney in his VFW speech today is going to accuse Obama of essentially treason. Positive ended before it even started. Can Willie Horton and the "Black Handshake" be far behind?
Not really, the echo I have heard over the past 3 or so years is a not so quiet "lazy golf playing commie porch monkey".
And that's the positive stuff that comes out of their filthy racist pie-holes!
Romney is going to ride that "Obama isn't one of us" into the ground, despite the fact that it didn't work 4 years ago.
Feisty--it must really frost them that Michelle Obama will be leading our U.S. delegation to the Olympics in London. I'm proud to have our First Lady represent our country. I'm sure she is especially looking forward to seeing the Queen again.
There is a lot of racist comments that some folks make about the President. It's sad to see and hear.
They should be scared! If you don't like the work environment where you are, just leave and go work somewhere else. Unions served a good purpose at one time, when abuse was everywhere, but now it really isn't and it is relatively easy to go somewhere else if you don't like the way things are going down. They are now just a stumbling block to the most efficient means of production, which in the long run is best for all.
Folks, the negative campaign advertisements have gotten their message across regarding both the President and Former Governor Romney. But enough is enough, I am sick and tired of hearing both sides of this crap. It is time to get back to the real issues concerning the country and what these two gentleman are going to do to fix the economy, build job opportunities, and automatic assualt weapons control. In light of the recent slaughter at the Batman Premiere, one would think that both would weigh in on a committment or plan to get these weapons under control or off the street. However, we hear nothing from them othter than condolences for the families loss. Meanwhile the media dwells on James Holmes when they should be building a fire under both O and R.
Hey what happened to the poll that MSNBC was touting this morning that had President Obama leading Gov Romney by six points. Newsflash--F Todd came out and later and said the poll was junk and totally biased! If you get your news from NBC you are truly in the dark. Do you think Brian Williams will begin the Nightly News with a retraction of their lead story last night? Not likely!
Flipper romney, a man with no feelings, for the crimes against people. As long as he can make money, peoples lives mean nothing to him. Gun laws may not stop all crimes, but will stop enough to make a differance. Gun violation should be punishable, by the harshes mean possible. The death penalty, should be used on this types of crimes. Eather, with the weapons used to commit the crime, or bannishment to a remote part of the world, forever. We MUST treat these people like rabid animals. Un-curable! And we must free this world of people like, thay are uncurable. flipper romney, should join them, for he himself, distroyed the american dream, of life,liberty, and the persuit of happinest when he closed jobs in our country, and sent them to mexice,china and india. The flipper should look into himself, and realy see what wrong he has done here.
