Dear NBC. I'm only telling you this because I'm your friend.
I started to watch Meet The Press on Sunday, but David Gregory made me so angry, I ended up turning the channel. Rep Carolyn McCarthy (NY, D), an advocate of gun control, mentioned colleagues who fuel hatred with lies, as contributing to the current negative political climate - obviously referring to Michelle Bachmann, but not naming her or the Republican Party. David Gregory snapped "it's bipartisan."
No, its not. Michelle Bachmann has made unfounded accusations against Huma Abedin and Rep. Ellison, based on their religion and ethnicity. Name a Democrat who is leading a Joe McCarthy- like campaign against a minority group? You can't. I hate this "both sides do it" meme, when both sides DONT do it. It's not just that I favor Democrats, if Democratic Congresswomen were hounding evangelical Christians, questioning their patriotism, I'd be furious - but they aren't, and Gregory was wrong to suggest "both sides do it."

David Gregory is a terrible moderator and the worst of any network and he knows it. The only way he can get any guest to come on his show is to try to pander to both sides. His answer to the republican lies on his show is well both sides do it. No they don't David and you know it. Surely NBC their's someone out there that can give a little integrity to the show like Tim Russert did. I haven't watched Meet The Press since Tim Russert, and I used to watch every Sunday.
