To those that say that President Obama is "anti Israel" because he stated the obvious,

(that the West-Bank settlements are illegal, and a road-block to peaceful coexistence between the two nations/peoples);

you do realize that in Israel, this is hardly an issue that everyone agrees on. From what I've read, this issue is being pushed by a small but powerful section of society. I don't think that Prime Minister Netanyahu fully agrees with some of his political coalition, but he needs to talk tough to maintain their political support.

So, if a Canadian leader disagrees with our President's decision to postpone the opening of the trans-American tar-sands pipeline until environmental safety can be better guaranteed, is he or she "anti-America"? I agree with the president (anybody else remember BP), but I know that a lot of my fellow Americans disagree. But it is our policy, so does that make any one who dares to speak out with another opinion, no matter how constructive, by definition "anti-America"?

Disagreeing with your friends is not a declaration of hostility. Sometimes friends should do the right thing, and say what needs to be said. Even when it is hard to hear.

By the way, I really don't understand why some of the folks are bashing out President for not bowing and scraping before Bibi Netanyahu. What's that all about anyway? Israel is the recipient of massive sums of US foreign aid, (that means TAX dollars from You and me). So how is it that you all think its Kosher for Mr. Netanyahu to strut over here with an attitude?

I'm not really sure of why you went off on my post. I would have been interested to hear your response to the content of what was written, but you just kind of went off.

So, OK, Israel is an important strategic ally. Agreed. They are also between a rock and a hard place. Agreed. There are also a lot of people in Israel that are far harsher on Prime Minister Netanyahu, and the settlements than President Obama has ever been.
Also, if Israel starts a war, being as we are their major ally, you do realize that we will be held responsible no matter what our President says. Kind of like being forced to pay for what your best friend breaks if he has a fight in a china shop. I think advising caution is the responsible thing to do.

Let me try this once again; if your disagreeing with our President, and our countries policies does not make you "anti America" (and believe me, I don't think you are "anti America" I just think you are very angry), How can you claim that President Obama is "anti Israel" because he disagrees with "part" of the policy of an extreme faction of the party presently in power?

As to the rest of your assertions, give me some links, I don't know every thing, but I do know that "millions" is less than "3 billion", and "Egypt, Palestinian, Iraq, Japan, Afghanistan" are all also strategic allies, and "1 billion" is still quite a bit less than "3 billion", and I don't think that our President should bow and scrape to any of these countries or their leaders either. Actually, other than President Karzai, the leaders of all of the countries on you list tend to be very respectful towards our country and to our President. Iran, to my knowledge, receives no "aid" from our government. Last I'd heard, we don't even speak to each other.

What ever it is that you are claiming that I don't know about our relationship with Israel, I don't think there is anything that would justify Mr. Netanyahu's arrogance and rudeness. When someone disrespects our President, that is not OK. We can vote them out if we don't like them, but foreign leaders, especially those that we are supporting with our taxes, should behave respectfully.

Why do you have a problem with that?

One last question. If Prime Minister Netanyahu starts a war with Iran, are you going to volunteer to go over and fight in it? Will you send your children? Why did Obama waste Federal Borrowed money to stimulate State Union Thug Jobs? Answer - Union Votes, Support and Kickbacks. In other words, it is money laundering! The “Takers” were conditioned and trained for over fifty years to support the Democratic Party. Behavior modification began at an early age. “Sesame Street” was instructed to place special emphasis on the letter “D”. After all, the show was on public television. In practice voting sessions, if they voted correctly for Democrats, a government treat would be dispensed. Panic arose when election boards wanted to remove the party affiliations and just list the candidate’s name. This caused such anxiety in the “Taker” community that the idea was quickly dropped. Introducing an additional factor requiring thought was too much stress. This reward based conditioning lasted for the entire life of a “Taker”. Election Day became more important that Christmas. “Takers” would arise early, bathe and put on their finest clothes. This must be a special day, since the “Takers” never behaved in this manner. They waited anxiously for the government sponsored vans to arrive to take them to the polling center. Democrats on site would usher them to the voting machine and prayed to Karl Marx the years of training would not be forgotten. After voting, they were fed lunch and returned home. This process was the same, year after year for countless generations.

Hospitals will fail; most doctors close their offices. They had no means to pay rent, employees or purchase supplies. Medical research and development ceased without funding. Rejected, the old man went home to die. Obamacare completed its mission of destroying the best health care system in the world.

Many millions will perish from a shortage of medicine. The “Rebound Effect” from abruptly ending maintenance medication will doom many. It is a shame that my doctor will not prescribe a years supply of medicine at a time. I fear most of all not having access to antibiotics. A minor sinus infection without treatment could lead to a horrible death. I would miss the hours spent waiting to see my Doctor. Those now were remembered fondly as the good ole days.

The fancy high tech medical devices were of little value when the electrical grid failed. Hospitals had backup diesel generators, which kept them operational until the diesel supplies were exhausted. With the dollar worthless, there were no means to buy fuel. Many doctors volunteered medical services until supplies and medicine was depleted. Universal Health Care was to begin in 2014. This now consisted of an aspirin and a used Q-tip.

So many ill informed comments about President Obama on this thread. He did not graduate from two Ivy league schools because he's ignorant. Most of the bloggers could not even fill out an Ivy League application much less qualify for the first cut. The bottom line is Romney is all about money. Money in Switzerland, and the Cayman Islands. Why not the United States of America? He paid 13.8% tax rate on $21 million income. My income was a lot less and I paid 28% or $243,885 and I'm retired just like Romney but a lot poorer. Romney is smart and greedy. Thats the problem. He endorses the Paul Ryan Budget which will cut taxes for people in my tax category and increase taxes for folks making less than $100K a year which is most Americans. He will support a Medicare voucher plan which will increase the cost of Medicare for retirees about $6,400 each. I can afford that, can you? Before my wife and I became eligible for Medicare we paid $27,600 a year for our health care insurance and we never even made our $500 deductible ever.
