But yet we are supposed to think it is important to release more tax returns when we have a president that is nothing but a mystery, who also has communist ties everywhere in his past, as well as his present.

To be honest it doesn't matter to me what Mitt's riches are but I want him to give us a detailed outline on what he wants to do to get people back working, it's certainly not in his 59 point plan and his support of the Paul Ryan budget ain't gone cut it!!! Also I'd like to be told the truth of what real problem is about the economy not being able o create jobs fast enough. From everything that I've read it because we're an under-educated society for the jobs tomorrow and I'm not just talking about the black race but all races. If America can get down to the nitty-gritty of rebuilding our education system to more hands on and getting young men and women working with there hands again then those 1.25 million electrical engineering that Mr. ROmney says available won't go to those people who live India and Israel instead they'll go to the young men and women who like on 4267 north 25th street in Milwaukee, WI. Or those who live Cambridge WI, or Sturdevant WI, or SOuth 6th street in Milwaukee, WI in other words there too many people suffering to make ends meet for us to have to recruit people from other countries to fill these jobs. And I always say that's my opinion and the President has to keep it real with the American public and let us know this is a very big issue that has to be addressed right away.

I don't care how rich they are I just need to know that the playing field is equal. If your afraid to or won't produce these documents then you have something to hide from the American Public.

Willard's daddy showed 12 years worth of returns and he wasn't even the Repub candidate! If it's good enough for dad, it should be good enough for Mitt! Unless . . . a person has something BIG to hide!

Here a news flash for you: Congress just voted down the "Bring Jobs Home Act" (H.R. 5542), which would eliminate the tax deduction companies use to OUTSOURCE jobs and would reward companies keeping jobs here with a 20% tax deduction.

Mitt is retroactively paying taxes for the years after he retroactively retired from Bain so in retrospect he wont look too bad. He doesnt want people to know how much money he made sending jobs overseas and how little he paid in taxes after outsourceing his money to Switzerland, Grand Cayman and Bermuda.

Romney presented last years tax returns but why did he not present every page they are incomplete. Seems he left out the form declaring money he has overseas. If you are making the argument that he presented enough then what he presented should be complete not missing anything.

It's remarkable that posters keep calling for Obama's "records." What records are you talking about? You sound foolish.

The reason Mitt isn't releasing his tax returns is that he knows what's in them. He and his handlers decided long ago that whatever's in them is more dangerous to his campaign than to stonewall the issue, which as we can see is damaging his campaign perhaps beyond repair.

We have been talking about this for nearly two weeks, with no end in sight. Romney's has to be the worst run campaign in the last fifty years.

Come November, my guess is the majority of Tea Partiers are staying home.

If people want to see more than 2 yrs. of taxes, they should lobby for the requirements for such. Romney's met the standard. This is a clear distraction from the issues facing our nation. If the IRS is okay with his returns, so am I. Let's get back to what's going wrong and the best way to return our country to its previous status of "greatest country".

The refusal to release tax returns as has historically been done by both Democrats and Republicans smacks of arrogance and elitism. The "commoners" just don't have the right to information about the man who says he wants to be their president. Yes, we do! We have the right to know where his money comes from and how he has earned it. When a man aspires to the highest office in the land, he has an obligation to disclose both financial information, voting records, marital records, and a host of other information that will allow us to assess his character and his experience. Does he really believe that the American public should vote for a pig in a poke? We should vote for him just because he says so? He won't tell us what he plans to do to turn the economy around. He won't tell us what he plans to cut from the budget. He won't tell us much of anything, but he expects us to vote for him? Maybe some people are stupid enough to vote for someone they really know nothing about, but I am not. Ann Romney said it quite clearly, We are just "you people", peons beneath her feet, not worthy of information. I really despise the assumption that wealthy people are above the rules, above the "ordinary folk", just because they have money. This is the United States of America, where everyone is supposed to be equal. This is the USA, where the rights of citizens are equal, and the responsibilities of citizens are equal. No one is above the rules. No person is superior just my virtue of wealth. Someone needs to tell the Romneys that they are no better than anyone else, money or no money.

Obama graduated magna cum laude, which proves he had good grades; and no one with a brain believes he was born in Kenya. His gpa is not relevant to the presidency. Reagan barely made a "C" average, so grades clearly are not meaningful to voters. Obama's citizenship has been established over and over, but no matter how much proof is published, the conspiracy nuts continue to disbelieve. Give it a rest. It is not the same thing. Tax returns are valid because they tell something about a candidate's character. Obama released tax records back to 1999. George Romney produced 12 years of tax records. Why is his son too privileged to do the same?

Every President once they are sworn into Office in January, are required to place ALL of their investments and properties into a blind trust. They do NOT get to pick the trustee.

The end will come with January’s triple threat of automatic budget cuts, expiration of the Bush tax cuts and gridlock on raising the debt ceiling. As an Independent I do not actually NEED to see any more of Romney's tax returns, The one he released shows he paid less of a percentage in taxs than basically ANY workingclass American, While at the same time sheltering money in a half dozen offshore accounts to avoid taxes on that money entirely, The account in the Caymans is set up for other foreign companies to totally avoid taxes in the USA.
