Romney: On the defensive

The AP: On FOX this morning, Romney charged “that President Barack Obama's attacks on his business record at Bain Capital are ‘misdirected’ and ‘dishonest.’” Romney: "What does it say about a president whose record is so poor that all he can do in this campaign is attack me? … I'd say to the president, wouldn't it be interesting, Mr. President, if you spent time speaking about your record."

“The Romney campaign is out with a new ad that takes President Obama to task for his campaign’s attacks against Mitt Romney, suggesting that they contrast sharply with the ‘hope and change’ theme of Mr. Obama’s 2008 campaign,” the New York Times writes.

The New York Daily News’ DeFrank: “Condi Rice as Mitt Romney’s running mate? About as inconceivable as a second Mormon on the ticket. The breathless leak of Rice as a short-list candidate for Romney’s No. 2 was as cynical as it was transparent — a clumsy head fake hoping to change the subject from another bad Romney week. Two key Romney advisers confirmed the phony boomlet was, as one of them told the Daily News, ‘all BS.’”

If I want to know who is RESPONSIBLE, all I have to do is look at the bottom signature. Rmoney keeps denying his involvement at Bain inspite of his signature on the SEC document... Blatant lie after lie... Disgusting...

Mittems was the CEO and owner of Bain during the time in question. He was legally and morally responsibility for the behaviour of the company - that's what being a CEO means, you are in charge. Choosing to neglect his duties and responsibilities does not make him any less responsible for the behaviour of Bain during that time it simply makes him irresponsible. This is one that Mittens cannot win - if he was the legal CEO he was legally responsible for what the company did during that time. If he was "uninvolved" that speaks to his character of walking away from responsibility when it is inconvenient to be there. I don't know if he's legally a felon or not, but he is definitely slicing and dicing the truth to the point of actual lies - making him at best liar if not a felon.

Romney has lost control of his candidacy when people like this say what they did. No one behooves Romney's ability to lead Bain Capital, as he did very well. Bain Capital is a shell where he and his buddies became rich on the backs of others sweat and toil. Romney did NOT CREATE WEALTH, he only Extracted Existing wealth, there is a HUGE difference. But, When the leadership, or positioning proposed leadership do not interrupt the booing TEA party audience when an American soldier, in theater, in uniform, questions about D.A.D.T. - They do not represent me! Romney's failure to fully disclose his financial holdings across the world does not make him transparent in any way. Here's the real question. If Romney gave up control because he became governor in Massachusetts, he moved 100 million to a retirement fund, does he still have any amount of stock and does he still receive dividends from Bain Capital?
Additionally why does such a rich man want to escape taxation by off-shoring millions in Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Ireland, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland and Australia. Why is he hiding money to keep from paying taxes? This is a valid question that deserves an answer.

Dear mr. Romney, It is very clear that the opposition is very worried due to the serrious number of people that support you. Thank you for trying to keep the focus of the campaign on the issues at hand, while maintaining some degree of class. I realistically feel that Condoliza Rice would be an excellant candidate for vice presadent, or Mr. Collon Powell, these two Americans are living examples of success and what all young Americans can achive with hard work and integrety. I do not harbor any ill fealings for the Presadent Obama campaign, I do however, beleave that your leavel of skills is, and would be most valueable in putting into motion all the necessary elements to create jobs in America for Americans. I'm also glad to see that we have had a change of heart reguarding the Canadian / American pipeline, I beleave this due in part to the gravity of your campaign. Please adress the Mexican voters and the importance of the're role in the up and comming elections. I expect to hear much more drivell with reguards to Baine and after all is said and done few will capitolized on the fact that it was a complete success and prosperous endevor overall. And in the end that is what America needs success. If you become presadent please concider all recomendations from former presadent bush with reguards to our national and forign securrity, It appears that since he left office we have come under attack and threats from many in the islamic nations overseas and here at home. we are willing to put our trust in the next presadent it is up to them to earn that trust. GOD BLESS AMERICA. Thank You

    With High Reguards.

What are you going to believe?

What we tell you, or those lying documents we filed with the SEC?
