The more everyone finds out about Mitt Romney's finances, the more questions they have.

Today, The Boston Globe reported that Romney was still running Bain Capital two years after he claims he left the firm, directly contradicting his campaign's denial that he was involved in deals that led to layoffs, bankruptcies, and American jobs getting shipped overseas.

It's a pattern of secrecy, and this is just the latest example of him trying to hide the truth from voters. There are a number of issues in play right now -- and voters deserve answers:

1) Mitt Romney refuses to release multiple years of taxes, ignoring decades of precedent.

2) He won't disclose his "bundlers," the people raising millions for his campaign.

3) He is the sole owner of a questionable shell corporation in Bermuda.

4) Until recently, Romney kept cash in a Swiss bank account.

5) According to the Globe, he hasn't been honest about when he was running Bain Capital, even though legal documents refute his claims.

The comments about 'no bid contracts' is really getting old. Anyone making that charge obviously knows nothing about contracts. I am a retired contracting officer. For about ten (10) years, better than half the contracts I wrote and negotiated were 'sole source' contracts. The uninformed sometimes call them 'no bid'. Anyone who has ever done a sole source knows there is a lot more work involved justifying the price when no competition was held. BTW, for every sole source contract, there is an advertisement in Commerce Business Daily. That ad tells all that anyone who can offer is open to submit an offer. The reasons for a sole source are few. No competitive technical data package is frequent. Or, their has been a lot of investment made under the current or past contract that would have to be REDONE by a new contractor. That's money out of your pocket. Analysis done as to recoupment cost. A thorough contracting officer, with assistance from all areas of expertise involved makes the decision and DOCUMENTS IT.

Roy Wilson...you believe what you want but polls and especially Rasmussan Polls are paid for by someone and in each instance the first question that is asked of the customer is "what result do you want" so no matter who paid for that poll it delivered the requested result (or it would not have been published or it would have been redone)..if it was paid for by the media.....the result was a close election so that we can continue to make headlines out of it.....if it was paid for by the GOP its a close result so that the base does not become completely disinterested in the election and if it is the DNC it is a close result because they do not want the voters to get complacent. In any case the requested result is achieved by the pollster but there is only one poll that is of any relevance and that occurs in Nov.

On the face of it, I would agree with you that wishing ill of anyone is not a good idea - and I think that you would find - generally speaking - that those on the Left tend to be more caring. However - that said - Dick Cheney is a special case and the hatred espoused for him is not surprising. Leaving the White House with a 13% acceptance rating - an endorsement from Cheney - while great from a financial standpoint - does little more than confirm that Mitt Romney is in bed with people no better than the devil himself (well represented by the aforementioned Vice President).

Even though Obama is a terrible president, I would never wish he would die during surgery. Liberals accuse Republicans of being haters, yet they are blind of seeing their own hatred.

I could sit here and defend the fellow who was the editor of the Harvard Law Review, who was raised by a single mother, and still rose on the merits of his own ability - or the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, who brought the critical issue of Climate Change to the masses - or even the guy who won a Bronze Star, a Silver Star and 3 Purple Hearts in Vietnam - then went on to the ivy league ... but that would take too much time - and I would probably lose your attention (I know it's hard to follow such things).
