Orlando, Fla. -- Speaking before a crowd of more than 2,000 Tuesday at the University of Central Florida, First Lady Michelle Obama listed President Barack Obama’s initiatives during his first term – including his recent executive order to stop deporting undocumented immigrants who arrived in the U.S. as children – and said those policies are all “on the line” in November’s election.
“In the end, it all boils down to one simple question. Are we going to continue the change we begun, the progress we made?” Obama said. “Are we going to let everything that we fought for to just slip away?”
“We cannot turn back now,” she added. “We need to keep moving forward.”
The reference to President Barack Obama’s announcement last month that he had moved to block the deportation of hundreds of thousands of young illegal immigrants was perhaps an indication of how crucial Florida – rich in Latino votes – has become in an increasingly tight election.
“He knows and believes that it is time to stop denying responsible, young people opportunities in this country because they’re the children of undocumented immigrants. It’s time to stop that,” Obama said of her husband’s support for the DREAM act, which would offer a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants who have graduated from high school.
The measure has been held up in Congress since 2010.
According to pool reports earlier in the day, Obama made a quick surprise visit to the Blanchard Park YMCA in a mostly Hispanic neighborhood in Orlando. Many children recognized her – one girl covered her grin with both hands but could not hide it. Another asked for a hug.
At the university, Obama spoke for about 25 minutes inside the basketball arena. A state fire official estimated there were 2,251 people in the bleachers and on the gym floor.
There was no mention of the president’s opponent, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, or of class and money – prominent themes in the attack ads released by both sides.
Still, Obama made a careful pitch of her husband as an ordinary man, whose origins as the son of a single mother “who struggled to put herself through school and pay the bills” leavens his judgment in office.
“I have seen how as president you are going to get all kind of advice for all kinds of people,” Obama said. “But at the end of the day, let me tell you when it comes time to make that decision as president, all you have to guide you are your life experiences. All you have to direct you are your values.”
"We all know who my husband is, don’t we?" Obama added. "We all know what Barack Obama stands for, don’t we?”

First thing to do is find a way to give amnasty to all Obama's relatives. Second thing is to encourage several million more illegal immigrants to immigrate here. We don't have enough people draging down wages and conditions in th U. S. right now. We need some more. I can't believe that blacks don't see that their savior is selling them out.

Somehow Obama's two illegal relatives that have been ordered to leave the US several times manage to hide and are no longer mentioned by the Obama media. Obviously another executive order, the Keyan Dream Act.

Barack's Aunt Zeituni the illegal alien who was living in taxpayer supported Boston public housing was granted asylum by an immigration judge last year after evading a deportation order for 6 years. She recently wrote a book 'Tears of Abuse' to reveal how she has been victimized and the hardships she has faced since coming from Kenya.
Mr Obama's drunk driving Uncle Onyango, was released from ICE custody, although he has been evading a deportation order for 20 years. Recently the state of MA gave the drunk driving illegal a hardship license so he could drive to work at the liquor store. 3 questions - Why is he even here, since he was ordered out of the country in 1992? How can he legally work if he is an illegal? Why is a drunk driver given their license back while it is under suspension?
NH: Someone might want to mention this during the campaign. As an added note, if the 1 million+ that Obama has now made legal to get work permits and they decide not to pick grapes can they now get unemployment checks?

Obama was unknown and did not have much of a record before moving to the White House. And since people of this country are too stupid to vote on the issues I guess I would have to say Obama was voted in because he was black. If you know of any other reason please let me know---my mind is open to suggestion. Now this being the case. Since there have been really no issues resolved and none of his promises have been fulfilled---can we just ignore all that and just vote him out because he is stupid and really sucks at leading the country??????

On the day of his inauguration, as the new President spoke, there was a meeting of the top republicans and their masters,,,THIS IS A FACT,,,and in that meeting , they, the republicans, were told to do everything they could to make him a one term president,,,that means the obbstructionism they have all been part of since the beginning.
Yet, with all this against him, this president has had 30 months of job growth in this country,,,we were bleeding 700,000 jobs a month when Bush left,,,Obama has done what he promised and added both war debts to the national debt,,,,Bush was afraid to do this because everyone would have seen how he was running this country into the ground.
The FACT is that this president has added LESS to the national debt then the prior 5 presidents,,,,this can be looked up on the internet!The FACT is that under this president, we have not only stopped the flood of illegal aliens to this country, but have seen them actually go the other way!
And lets not forgot ACA,,,,this is not what I wanted, I wanted single payer, however the repubs would never have let that pass, so this law is the next best thing and a step in the right direction.

ome--are you crazy? If you are saying the prez added less to the national debt of the COMBINED last 5 prezs I still would not believe you. Are you serious? And why is it with this guy you say you didn't want the health care he was pushing but you will accept it even though the Supreme Court ruled as unconstitutional unless the mandatory part was to be considered a tax, which was promised would never happen. And immigration thing has gotten way out of control. Now this prez is going to again step outside the constitution to to try and change the eligibility to make a part of these illegals immigrants be legal citizens and furthermore he shoots down a state with enough cajones to enforce the law that the feds refuse too. On yes I would like to see any truths or facts that can prove that most Americans are better off now then they were 3-1/2 years ago so lay them on me. All of the numerical gymnastics within the government with bank and business bailouts has not improved my lifestyle one bit so don't try to lay all of the contrived information on me because what we are allowed to see that may benefit the average American citizens is only covering up for the ridiculous spending that really is the basis of most of DC's laws. And please don't tell me how this prez has stopped the flow of illegals entering the country because now we are keeping records of those turned away at the border not when he has plans to give amnesty to a lot more than what was turned away. Oh and last item prove to me the FACT of the republican meeting to blackball this prez to one term and then try to convince me that every time a prez is elected the other party doesn't do the same thing. Mrs. Obamas' daughters don't attend schools where 75% of the student population are Hispanic,50% are in ESL classes,and 85% of the students are on the free meal (well,not free to taxpayers) program.
I grew up in Los Angeles, CA, 40 years ago. There were Japanese "gardeners" and AMERICANS making a decent living doing landscaping and light construction, working in restaurants. Greedy employers using ILLEGAL ALIENS and paying them crap wages undercut their competition and forced them to either do the same or go out of business, because the Federal Govt refused to do its job and allowed millions of illegals into CA. Now I live in North Florida and here there AMERICANS making a decent living doing landscaping, working in restaurants and doing light construction/handyman work. So don't try to tell me we "NEED" these illegals, we DO NOT. Illegals suck billions of dollars in free public education and medicaid dollars out of every state.

Why should I care what Michelle Obama thinks or says? She holds no elected office. Her opinion should carry no more weight than mine (I too hold no elected office). If my opinion is unimportant, then so is hers.
You know.... I know no one is supposed to talk about the Presidents spouse, or their family... any President, but Michelle keeps hitting the campaign trail making speeches that don't say "The Pres is a good man" and stuff like that, but instead "we need to do this" and "we did that"..... doesn't that open her up to being a political figure and open to critisism? I think it does. Remember it was hands off for Hillary until she decided to take control of the Whitewater coverup, and then spend tons of millions putting together her healthcare program that went down in flames. Now, Michelle likes to force laws to cram broccoli down our throats, and she likes to not get involved in organizations and charities and stuff, but in the operation of government. So,,,,, how about the free African safari vacation, the Europe vacation, the South American vacations, the Hawaii vacations, the England vacation..... where she made a short 5 minute speech so she could put it on the government dime. How about when she got pi*** the first year because the Pres was expected to do the tomb of the unknown soldier ceremony and she found out he couldn't skip it or change the date...so she got pi*** and went on her vacation without the Pres.... and he followed right after the ceremony. Or how about her 10 second video soundbite she sends out when she is requested to do something at a veterans hospital or military hospital or something.... she made the video after taking heat for telling people we need to forget about veterans and old wars because we have social problems to solve. That was after she stated we have too many holidays like thanksgiving here, which was after she called Americans fat and stupid, which was after she was never proud of America until they elected her husband, and of course she planted the garden and the bee hives. Does anyone really think she is out there tending the bee hives or the garden except for a photo op? I read an article by a horticulturalist who looked at the garden, and determined it might grow enough to give the family a good dinner or two.... but not many state dinners and other functions as Michelle likes to point out. I got lots more..... but the best is the guy who caught her on his cell phone turning to a lady sitting next to her at a historic ceremonial flag ceremony and saying "all this for a stupid fu**** flag". It quickly disappeared but you can still find it if you look. She is cool though. She knows what she wants.
Sounds like a campaign stop to me. I hope taxpayers aren't footing the bill for this trip too.

Obama has relatives that are here illegal and are drawing S.S. payments that they did not work for or deserve. I bet she didn't mention them!

One million additional work visas for illegal aliens means one million less jobs available for legal American residents.

The branch of the government referred to in my above post is of course the USDA. They are in charge of the food stamp program. Interestingly enough, they are also the branch that is responsible for posting various signs in our National Parks. One of those signs reads: "PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS; as they may no longer fend for themselves and become dependent upon visitor offerings"

Michelle is the wife of an American president and whose responsibility it is to American children and people. How has American leadership walked so far from American ideals and took the path of deception? America is hurting.
These illegals she is championing with her president husband have more rights than honest American children. Her husband has little knowledge at all of what it is to be poor in America and work your way out of it-nor does she. Perhaps his mother's mother did-his father was no help. Imposters now rule.
We do need to be fair with all immigrants...legal and/or illegal. First we need to close the border. Secondly we need to enforce Federal Law 287...if you commit a felon...then you are sent back. Than there are those illegal immigrants who have left their countries to live her for a better life, these people we need to address fairly and make them part of America. We are a nation of immigrants starting in 1492 or earlier. We do not want anymore illegal immigrants crossing our borders. Terrorists are coming across our borders and we need to stop them as well as the illegal drug trade. It is a no brainer. Our president does not want to defend what is right but panders to the hispanic population for political gain. We need to be fair. I am a Republican and a Christian and wants what is fair for all people of concern. If we looked into our history...we may find out that we are illegal immigrants. Kicking out 31 million illegal immigrants is not the way to go... But if you do not want to follow our laws...well "goodby".

If she did she would be lying. DHS statistics through fiscal year 2011, show that the Bush Administration deported 2X the number of illegals deported by the Obama Administration.
But she could tell all the kids that Barack wants these kids to grown up evading deportation just like his drunk driving illegal alien Uncle Onyango who has been evading deportation since 1992.
The Presidents daddy came here as part of some Harry Belafonte program to fly a couple plane loads of upper middle class Kenyan kids here to the U.S., and give them the best education available to do whatever they like. The idea was that after completing all their years of free and supported ivy league higher education, that they would head back to Kenya and become leaders to make Kenya a great and free African nation. Unfortunately the Pres's daddy found that he liked indoor plumbing, booze, freedom, and lots of naive girls from Iowa just a little too much. He flopped around and did all he could to hide out and stay here after his VISA ran out. Eventually he took off to try other parts of the world, but really wanted to come back here. In the meantime he brought a bunch of his family here illegally who didn't want any part of Kenya either, but did seem to like the booze, indoor plumbing, and food stamps. The farm girl from Iowa got tired of being on the run, and slipped off into Hawaii with the little Pres because at the time Hawaii was close, and wasn't too well organized yet as a state. This is why no one knows for sure where he was born. Then of course in his book he mentions that he liked smokin' doobies and drinking a lot in high school and hardly ever went to high school his last two years (his words folks). This of course makes people wonder just how someone who skipped high school got a full scholarship to Columbia University, much less in at all, and then a free ride through Harvard law. And of course that leads to how he found his way to the criminal anarchist movement people in Chicago where he got the almost free house from the now convicted crooked real estate guy who was told to do so from the bomber terrorist guy who wrote the forward to the Presidents book. And how Michelle got her 350K + expenses job on the board of directors where all she had to do was show up at a meeting every 3 months. But I think they are really good people. Really I do. Just a little self centered and narcissistic. But aren't we all?
