Subscribe to RSSOHIO: “According to Joe the Plumber, gun control is to blame for the Holocaust,” the New York Daily News writes. “Ohio Congressional hopeful Samuel Wurzelbacher's latest campaign ad features a short narrative over footage of him shooting fruit and vegetables off a fence, while explaining how Germany's 1939 gun control laws paved the way for Germany's worst atrocities. Wurzelbacher starts the ad off innocently enough, loading a shotgun while saying ‘In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were exterminated.’ Locked and loaded, Senator John McCain's former BFF turned his focus to Germany, while also focusing on some unlucky tomatoes and apples: ‘In 1939, Germany established gun control,’ Wurzelbacher says while unloading shot after shot, ‘from 1939 to 1945, six million Jews and seven million others, unable to defend themselves, were exterminated.’ The gun controls in Germany referred to by Wurzelbacher actually went into place in 1938 and forbade only Jewish people from owning guns.”

OMG, I think this guy need some serious meds! The guns - or lack of are responsible for the Holocaust?
why are we still talking about this loser?? Joe the Plumber is neither Joe or a plumber. He 's a tax evading hypocrite - maybe that is why he's the Republican hero.
When the fruit-loop fringe (Teabag conspiracy theorists) take over the Party (asylum) this is what you get. Gary Kreep the Birther merchandiser becomes a judge (San Diego), Orly Tatz keeps running for things--came in fifth, Joe the Unlicensed not really a Plumber running for office, and on and on.
The primary process in the Teapublican Party, now with Ron Paul in the mix, is being forced more and more to the Right and right off the cliff. Some establishment Republicans like Jeb Bush, and increasingly rightwing pundits are even concerned. When the nominees become Christine O'Donnell "I'm not a witch," it only hurts the Republican brand.
The really disconcerting thing is it's not just the likely suspects. Scott "Centerfold" Brown, like Romney, avoids the media for a reason, and that is to hide what a Dan Quayle he is. That was priceless what Brown said about secret meetings with kings and queens -- Hahahaha.

I really, really worry about our education system. History, accurate history is a lost art. During radiation, I saw folks who spent time reading truthful accounts of various periods of history. Can't wait to see what the folks in chemo will be reading (start that next Friday). Hear y'all been being ugly towards each other on this political brouhaha. Look in the mirror folks - common human decency isn't a bad thing. You can disagree without being disagreeable. I love each and every one of you. And truly look forward to the day to cross swords/words with you. I have been reading old British history.

In most states to buy a gun one has to be sane. Joe has been sniffing mercury, and is mad as a hatter.
What did Jews need guns for anyway? After all, they had the Gestapo to protect them.
Mitt the Barber told us about the woman who couldn't afford to take her kids to soccer practice because Obama ran up the cost of gas. Is she happy now that Obama dropped the price for her?
Gun Control? What gun control? I can bring my gun more places than my cigarettes.
People disregarding this should see the movie 'Defiance'. It will give you a new perspective on what a small number of armed people can do in the face of persecution and oppression.
Then maybe stop by the Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership site, since this is something they have been documenting for decades now.
And lastly, please remember that the media calls Mr. Wurzelbacher 'Joe the Plumber' because they are too lazy to pronounce his last name and too ignorant to get it right. Anyone who follows their lead probably does so for the same reasons.
Wrong...the media calls Mr. Wurzelbacher 'Joe the Plumber' because he's a complete fraud and was never a plumber in the first place...and what he has to say is basically comedy of the lowest order. His claim to fame is ....well,he really has no claim now does he? He has done nothing and will never do anything...his life is a complete waste. All those guns he likes to play with are aimed in the wrong direction....toe trigger...toe trigger...toe trigger.
