2012: No surprise -- a tight race

Obama narrowly leads Romney in an AP national poll out today, 47-44%. But why Obama’s vulnerable is highlighted by AP’s lead: “Fewer Americans believe the economy is getting better and a majority disapproves of how President Barack Obama is handling it….”

Obama has regained a narrow lead in Quinnipiac’s Florida poll, 46-42%, after Romney was up 47-41%, largely due to a shift among independents.

to know Romney is to not want to vote for him. Not only is he personally unlikeable, he hasn't explained what he would do differently to improve the economy, to improve schools, in handling foreign policy, etc....all he talks about is cutting taxes for the those "job creators," who apparently don't work their magic untill their kitchens are remodelled.

The numbers show that more people are able to see who Romney is and how much he dodges issues rather than stating any type of viable plan and they are moving back with Obama.

As time goes on I feel more people will moving away from Mitt and fully support the president for his second term.

Good Morning Amy!

Looky, Looky, a Barrel of OIL at this moment is priced at $80.30, yet we hear Nada from Americas Carnival Barkers(formerly known as the MSM)as usual. Thats OK tho, Real Americans are talking about Gasoline Prices Dropping, as they begin to Travel across this Great Land for Vacations. Mo $, Mo $, Mo $ in thier Pockets to spend on things that probably wooda waited until Later.

This could'nt have happened ata better time for America & the upcoming Re-Election of President Barrack Hussien Obama. The effects of Summertime Spending won't showup until around the middle of August, just in Time for Continueing Positive JOBS reports, a couple months before the November Re-Election of President Barrack Hussien Obama. Oh, the Irony of the Spring letdown from Employers, still lineing thier Pockets with Mo $(they did'nt need).

I see Malibu Mitt is Still haveing PROBLEMS trying to make a Connection with Real America(Not Surprising)! Thats OK tho, because after the November Re-Election of President Barrack Hussien Obama, Malibu Mitt won't havta Worry about Connecting with Us Peons, for FOREVER. His SoCalled Political Life will have run its Course & he can go about the business of re-connecting with his Nascar owner, Nfl Owner, NBA owner, etc, etc, etc Friends!

You Betcha!

Occupy SoggyBottom is Back!

By the time it took to type all this, it was @ $80.06 !

YeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaW !

Oh Amy, going to See Romney speak once in the middle of the Winter does not constitute "Knowing" him.

You know nothing about him, except what MSNBC tells you.

My disapproval of Obama's handling of the economy most assuredly does not translate into a vote for Romney. We had Romney's policies in effect for the eight years 2001-2009. Please America, never again.

This will be a tight one, and my current Projection: (Currently the states that will play the biggest in November are Michigan, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin. However, if the election were held today, Obama would win Michigan, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin. Also, I’m placing Florida in the Obama column.

The key months for this race are going to be September and October. And as far as the debates, Romney may have a problem in this area.

For now, the new totals are:

        Projected Winner Obama 317

        Projected Loser Romney 221

Amy, could not agree more with you: to know Romney is to not want to vote for him. How much do you want to bet his campaign is searching, searching, searching desperately for a way to get him out of any debate with President Obama? In a debate, he'll be asked to provide details and actual policy plans, and all that will doom him. Everyone knows that Romney will say anything and do anything to get elected--or re-elected. Once in the White House, he won't be acting on any deeply held principles--he doesn't seem to have any. He will be running for re-election on Day 1, and that means assuaging the ultra-right conservatives that now control the Republican Party. So in a debate he'll have to admit: "Yes, I will sign the Ryan budget plan." "Yes, I will sign legislation that does away with health care for every American and that reinstates an insurance company's right to deny health care for pre-existing conditions." "Yes, I will sign legislation that does away with help for student loans and help for seniors and help for the poor." "Yes, I will sign off on even bigger tax cuts for the wealthy and legislation that hurts the middle class." If he doesn't admit to all this, his base may not come out to vote for him. If does admit to all this, he loses every other sane and halfway intelligent American voter out there. And I'm willing to bet that Scott Brown's totally absurd and unreasonable demands (i.e., that Ted Kennedy's widow not endorse any candidate for MA senator and that MSNBC not sponsor the debate debates when it has not even asked or offered to sponsor any debates) really are just the Republican Party floating a strategy for getting out of debates that would show people how unreasoning and elitist they are and telling the ultra-Right base that their candidate is one of them. If it works for Brown, we can rest assured that every other Republican candidate will use that strategy, including Mitt.

Jerry, can you fathom the illogic or absurdity of Scott Brown demand? Assuming that Mrs. V. Kennedy accedes to such nonsense, it automatically confers the reverse to Scott Brown an endorsement of Brown, because a non endorsement of Ms. Warren is not neutral as it may seem in theory but an legitimate endorsement of Scott Brown. It means that Mrs. V. Kennedy is not sold on Ms. Warren. He Brown wants to be smart by half.

Obama's a loser and he knows it, he can't survive Fast N Foolish, Obamacare, Solyndra, rising unemployment and foreclosures, the disastrous 40% loss of wealth by many and the crushing debt.

His latest "executive privilege" fiasco to save his and Holder's a$$ is indicative of hiding their direct involvement in weapons for drug cartels.

Dream on Tad, Mitten's was beaten before he even started. This farce of a race he's running is only a formality.

Only a mental incompetent will vote for Obama.

If we have over 50% of them in this country we deserve to go down the toilet like we have been over the past three years.
