Well, if Marco Rubio helps us, let's use him. Yes, I know it turns our stomach to have a person of color in our party, but hey, if it helps us for the time being, we'll have to do it and then figure a way later to get rid of him.

You just never know who he might pick until it happens. I mean if McCain, right out of the blue, can pick an ignorant hillbilly from Alaska, then why not Mitten's ultimately picking a "Fat Samoan named Fred"?

Fantastic, but wait, didn't you all 1. hate Bush, and 2. vote for MR. Hopenchange?

So Dennis, you got you some hardcore Executive Priv, Trickey Dick style.

Think Progress:

Mitt Romney’s campaign may or may not be vetting Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) for vice presidential consideration, but in the meantime, he continues to maintain space in the media spotlight. In an interview with Christianity Today published yesterday, he reiterated his opposition to same-sex marriage, pointing out that the Bible opposes it, as do all of the faiths (Catholic, Mormon, evangelical Christian) he’s experienced. Though he qualified his answer in some ways, he also suggested that society shouldn’t “tolerate” less-than-”ideal” family structures.

To Darryl Issa and his fellow conservatives, when you go on a witch hunt with no purpose except to stir up trouble during an election year because the GOP is a bunch of sore losers, then you get the response from President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder you deserve--stuff it. Where were all the investigations into President George W. Bush and his VP Cheney, Mr. Issa? One more question, Issa and friends, why did you and every other republican vote to support the Bush version of Fast & Furious or does that not count? Bush/Cheney used Executive Privilege for just about everything from covering up Cheney's secret meeting with big oil, gas and coal executives where THEY wrote the Bush/Cheney energy policy to Iraq.

It seems common sense escapes WCA, having disappeared from conservative DNA years ago. As for President Obama's grandfather, he based his book on what he was told by family members; he did not send an investigative team to investigate the validity. The same goes for Rubio's version of his family escaping Castro which turns out happened before Castro came into power; he based it on what he was told and had no reason to question it. No doubt everyone has a family story that we accept as true when odds are it was embellished as the years went by. That is how the 12 inch fish caught becomes a 3 footer as the years pass.

Didn't the President have a aunt that is here illegally and was living in public housing who was ordered deported. Has not been granted a green card because Obama is President. By the way, I don't believe Obama's uncle was here legally either.

The ATF did not arrest the "straw" buyers (as they are called, the little fish that bought the guns) because gun laws in Arizona are so toothless the straw buyers would have walked with a slap on the wrist. The bigger fish would have just gotten the guns elsewhere, just as they had been doing.

The ATF did not inform Mexican authorities what was happening because they could not trust the information wouldn't be leaked to the cartel bosses. (Mexico, not exactly being corruption-free.)

The ATF allowed the guns to go to Mexico so they could track down the bigger fish. This is an ongoing investigation. Eric Holder didn't create this program, the ATF did, but he is protecting his agents. Kind of the opposite of what Karl Rove did for Valerie Plame.

Still a bit early for anyone to get desperate. Now if the Republicans get a 10pt bounce 2 weeks after their convention, sure. Desperation ensues.

But the same could be said for the Democratic Convention.

And besides. The Republican convention is going to consist of Ron Paul supporters throwing poop at Romney and the Republican Establishment for 3 days straight.

Didn't they just file for an injunction to unbind all delegates?

You couldn't be more wrong Soldier50. YOU may want to believe that I am a racist, but you would be absolutely wrong.

Where on earth do you arrive at the thought that there are as many racists in the democratic party as there are in the republican party? I feel that you would honestly like to believe that to put your own issues at ease.

As far as republican ideology, let's look at some of their thoughts.

They want to limit women's rights.

They want to suppress voters rights.

They refuse to support legislation to promote immigration reform.

They want to raise the retirement age.

They want to eliminate Social Security.

They want to eliminate Medicare/Medicaid.

They want to strip workers rights for better wages/retirement benefits.

They want to overturn Roe vs Wade.

They want to give tax breaks for the wealthy and corporations.

You may want to support a party that tauts that way of thinking as the best for the average American, but I certainly don't.

Call it what you will, Ruken... "multitasking" as you refer to it is still using your company's resources (hardware, bandwidth, etc...) and the time that you are supposed to be using to conduct company business, to troll around these boards.

You may have some 'process' running in a window, but that does not mean that you are free to goof off. Wouldn't your company be better off if you were running two "processes" in two windows... or spending the time you are trolling these boards actually preparing for the NEXT process you need to run?

Multitasking indeed! You obviously are NOT multitasking, at least not company business which is what they pay you for.

You can't be so stupid as to not realize that these are federal firearm laws ... ATF ... a federal agency?

The ATF did not inform Mexican authorities what was happening because they could not trust the information wouldn't be leaked to the cartel bosses. (Mexico, not exactly being corruption-free.)

So Obama and gang decided to just break ... as Mexico claims - international law.

Wow ... Obama not only doesn't care about our laws or Constitution - we doesn't care about Mexico's laws / 200 innocent Mexican citizens killed by these animals he gave 2,500 assault rifles to.

The ATF allowed the guns to go to Mexico so they could track down the bigger fish. This is an ongoing investigation

So how do you track down bigger fish when you intentionally don't track the weapons, when you order agents to stand down and order them to just them walk into Mexico?

Btw - What good what it do anyway if Obama did track to the big fish ... how would he arrest them in Mexico without the help of Mexico?

What a dumbass comment.

Eric Holder didn't create this program, the ATF did, but he is protecting his agents. Kind of the opposite of what Karl Rove did for Valerie Plame.

First ...... HE GOT AN AGENT MURDERED! He gave the killers 2 of the guns that killed Terry!

Valarie Plame?

Are you really so clueless ignorant, that after all this time, you still don't know who leaked Plame?

And do you want to bring up real leaks .... like Obama Administration leaking SEAL Team 6 and 25 members being killed within 4 months in a planned attack .... leaking the agent in the underware bomber .... leaking the Iran nuclear virus .... not protecting the doctor who identified bin Laden was in the compound ....

Sheez ... what is wrong with you people?

Actually, as usual you couldn't be more wrong my friend.

I have been an Information Technology professional for over 25 years now. I have a bachelor's degree in MIS and an MBA. I have worked as a developer, systems analyst, project manager and department manager (among other roles).

And at every company I have ever worked for, since the internet was made available to the employees, management has monitored its usage. FOR A REASON!

I allow my employees to visit the web thoughout the day. It provides a nice change of pace for them. But on a case-by-case basis, when it becomes excessive (as it appears to with our friend Ruken) I put and end to it.

My point was that Ruken pretends that he is "multitasking" by compiling some code AND cruising the Internet. THAT is not multitasking. THAT is goofing off! True multitasking would involve his conducting other company business while compiling code. Don't try to pretend its anything else.

    Hillbilly

Often used as an insult and racial slur against White folks who live in the country. A hillbilly is a person who lives in a remote, rural area in the South, often in the Appalachian (Or sometimes Ozark) Mountains and therefore is isolated and somewhat out of touch with modern culture.

Indeed. But of course his powers of deduction are probably hindered due to his staying up posting last night.

But it's not like he has a job to get up in the morning to.

Pawlenty? This shows me, unfortunately, Romney's advisors are too establishment and learned the wrong lesson from Sarah Palin's selection in 2008. Too safe, too boring. Cautious is one thing, scared is another.

Dont be afraid to be a bit bold, or at least pick a candidate for a positive reason, not because you are afraid what the state run liberal media is going to say...they will attack whoever it is, anyway, that is a given!

Gotta forgive them Ben. As usual their playing catch up on news they can no longer ignore, like Fast and Furious after "protecting" the libs from the truth for so long.

Have you ever tried watching slant head KKKanity on Fox Noise or the bleached blonde bimbos who hold their jobs down by showing their tails???

    How 'bout that Steve Doccey?

Then there are the "FIVE" rather the "Four", if you exclude the Democrat, who sit around around a table and furiously try and brain storm bull@!$%# ass LIES.

Yes Bev -- I watch them. I also watch Shemp "that warm tingling is me pissing down my leg" Matthews, 40 weight hair gel Sharpton, Blowhard Shultz (he truly KNOWS NOTHING), Butch Maddow and Socialist McDonnell. So, I wonder which cable news gets the most viewers??? Actually more than double the viewers than the other sham cable news networks.

Oh, you can officially add Andrea Mitchell to the Obama whore harem -- like you and Red.

    IDIOT.

Feisty, I dont know what poll you look at, but Bob McDonnell is still riding high with great approval ratings.

I think McDonnell is still being considered, he would be a great choice. The radical abortion on demand crowd with their nastiness would "out" themselves in attacking McDonnell; it would rebound to the GOP's benefit.

What a charismatic ticket---Romney/Pawlenty! Kind of like watching paint dry. Will be a good deal for Pawlenty---he'll get his campaign debt paid off and establish himself as the guy whose turn it is in 2016.

It won't matter whom he picks; the economy and the best path forward will decide the election. Hint: refusing to tax the welathiest among us isn't the path forward.

Last I read, the GOP/TP frown upon whores men that have extra-marital affairs, or perhaps, that only applies to ambassadors.
