Simply put, Jesse Kelly has neither the brains, credibility or honesty for public office, the will for fighting or the compassion to represent the people of southern Arizona either CD8 OR CD2.
Simply put, your "creative post" in nothing but a SMEAR campaign. Let's see if you can actually post anything of "substance" about the campaign of your candidate. She must not be very good if all the trash you just posted about Kelly is true and it is a close race. Perhaps, you just made her look worse.
Big labor, MSNBC and the Democrats have suffered a huge loss! They of course have begun their diversion tactics,as usual Fox News is the only reliable news source. Whine all you want Chuck Todd, it won't change the facts. The Wisconsin recall is a game changer! Why don't you and your minions start considering Canadian citizenship? You all would fit in quite nicely up there....................EH!
Faux News is reliable? LOL.. the biggest belly laugh I have had all year long!
Loren, Yes according to all polls, Fox News destroys MSNBC in ratings i.e. credibility. You being a liberal, have most likely had larger belly laughs watching Ed Schultz!
If the good people of Wisconsin thought retaining Walker would stop the civil war going on in their state, I am afraid they were mistaken. Just looking at the comments on this website reveals the rightwingers are not in the mood to be magnanimous. They will continue to throw gasoline on the unions and on Democrats, mark my words, it's already happening. What the Republicans are proving is they can't be trusted to govern, they work for the corporations and not for the good of the state as a whole, and they have no interest in being civil.
Amy - I've learned the rightwingers don't have a clue about civility. It's too bad. But, we'll move ahead and work to improve the country by throwing as many of the GOP out of office in November as possible. Then, we'll be able to move our country's economic recovery into full swing!
Obama/Biden 2012
SpeekingInsanity, You are such a HYPOCRITE ! You talk about "civility" WHILE NAME-CALLING EVERYONE WHO DISAGREES WITH YOU names such as "narrow-minded", "idiot".... references to "stupidity" and "ignorance" and then you top it off by attacking their intelligence and their integrity ! Wow !!!
I just got through reading another article where you attacked "Damage" in #2.22, before you began a series of attacks on "Crystal" at #2.25, #2.28, #4.21, and #4.23 !!!!!
Then you have post this totally disingenuos bull$hit about rightwingers and civility ? How can you actually be so inconsistent ?? You attack, attack and attack ..... before trying to play victim ???????
Sorry fellow progressives. You do not recall a Governor simply because he is doing what he was elected to do. Period! Elections have consequences as we said in 2008. To those of you in the public sector, it is time for you to share the burden with those of us who own small businesses and take risks with our capital and thus our livelihoods. Fact is the republicans have a point with out of control pension and healthcare costs for those of you who work government jobs. Please don't give me the cops and teachers and first responders stuff. They are well provided for compared to those of us in the private sector. Hell a convenience store clerk and taxi driver's job is more dangerous than a cops for crisakes. So get off your high horse. Conversely I agree with progressives and yes some republicans who have a problem with "crony capitalism" and the money changers on Wall Street. They and their lackeys in the congress on both sides of the aisle are responsible for the recession. We have become a country that rewards financial craftiness as opposed to innovation.
What I have found with many union members. Alot were die-heart republicians. On this Walker thing with Wisconsin. President Obama will gain votes instead of losing votes. I guess it's a wait and see if Walker will support the Wisconsin people or support the billionaires out of state that sent him the money on winning this recall election. It's not that much of a secret on which our Congress support. Just look at the disaproval % they have from us American voters.
As the world turns from the peanut gallory.
I have absolutely no sympathy for unions and the fate they are heading for. They brought it on themselves. I grew up in Flint, Michigan, the absolute epicenter of the creation of the UAW. After college, I worked for General Motors (laughingly called Generous Motors by the folks who worked there). Let me tell you about just a few things I witnessed in my 2 years at GM:
>An employee who routinely showed up every 45 days with a doctors note excusing him from work for the missing 45 days. You see, he was the city's most successful drug dealer so he really didn't need the hourly wage. He did however, want the full medical, dental and vision insurance for himself and his whole passel of illegitimate kids.
>A UAW woman who beat up her supervisor (also a female) with a lead pipe, breaking her arm and jaw. She was fired. The supervisor was then instructed by management NOT to press assault charges because they were getting ready to negotiate the union contract and didn't want any "complications". End result: this employee was rehired during the contract negotiation and was given nine months of backpay including overtime.
>Don't EVER buy a car that has a build date the day before a major holiday break or the summer shutdown. Why? Because a great number of UAW members will be stonefaced drunk and there's no telling how screwed up your car will be as a result. "But wouldn't they be fired for being drunk on the job?" you question reasonably. No, they wouldn't because of all the problems it would create for management with the UAW. Those videos from several years ago showing the UAW members getting high and drinking on their lunchbreaks? Very mild, in my opinion as compared to the folks I saw passing out or puking on their shoes the day before Christmas break.
>The non-line UAW members (i.e. anyone who wasn't tied to an actual assembly line position)maintenance workers etc., would clock in, stand in their area for 15 or 20 minutes and then a)head for the basement of the plant for one of the many beds constructed out of cardboard and duct tape or b) head for the nearest bar (Note:Conveniently, there was a bar located just outside of every gate at the plant known as Buick Motor Division, Plant 12, Flint MI just so you know).
I could go on and on but you get the point. Unions, particularly the biggies like the UAW, AFL-CIO, SEIU, The Teamsters, fight for ANYONE no matter what their transgression. And, it is not surprising to me how thuggish their membership has become.
You reap what you sow. And now, the unions must suffer the consequences.
