“President Obama and predecessor Bill Clinton are back on the same page when it comes to attacking Mitt Romney,” USA Today writes. “Less than a week after praising Romney's ‘sterling’ business career, Clinton told Obama backers last night in New York that the Republican candidate's economic policies would be ‘calamitous for our country and the world.’”
The Obama campaign, for its part, isn’t letting go on the Bain attacks. David Axelrod on a conference call with reporters yesterday, per USA Today: "The issue remains: Did his experience at Bain qualify him as a job creator. He made that case 10 years ago (when he was running for governor) in Massachusetts and the record there was very, very underwhelming."
