I realize that the election is in November. But would like to ask a hypothetical to you Pig and Mo.

What if obama does not win. Its a 50/50 chance, if by some remote chance he does not, what will y'all say then?

Just a thougt.

    MRWSR

The Independents haven't even begun to pay attention to the election. When they do, they will vote to re-elect President Obama, because, trust me, you thought John Kerry was a flipflopper and a wooden candidate, Romney is thoroughly untrustworthy and unlikeable. Believe me, I've seen Romney in person.

A Romney presidency would be divisive and controversial, our allies would view him with contempt, as they did George W. Bush. Not good for America. I think most voters, except die-hard partisan Republicans, will see that in the debates.

      Amy,

It's just a question. No one seems to want to answer.

Not going to play your hypothetical game MRWSR.

Besides Amy is right. Romney doesn't want to be President, he just wants the title, he would turn the Presidency over to the neo-cons like George Bush did. Romney is used to just being a figure head, not having to know anything or do anything.

        Mo,

You can declare obama the winner already! That' not hypothetical? Is there not a chance for him to lose or is it just impossible to conceive such an idea?

          #3.4 - Tue May 29, 2012 11:14 AM EDT

No chance of him losing MRWSR. All you have to do is look at who his opponent is.

What do you think Romney's going to be like in the debates, when he can't even talk to the MSM. He can't even talk to Fox (aka tea people Koch republican propaganda machine) without getting flustered.

          Mo,

          No chance of him losing

Sad, that at 2 to 1 odds you still give me lip for being hypothetical.

The progressive left can not even admit that there is a chance. Amazing. Wonder what you will do if he loses. That would be something to see. Wonder who you blame first.

"Or what if the Obama campaign was holding a fundraising contest with a celebrity who believed that 9/11 was an inside job?"

Or what if the Obama Administration hired a 9/11 truther and avowed Communist as his "green jobs" czar, Van Jones ?

The second 'what if" is not a theoretical, it really happened, and MSNBC could have cared less.

First Read claims it is not big at "guilt by association' , but you better believe Obama team network MSNBC will plaster the airwaves with Romney and Donald Trump stories...

Looks like Bob is worried about Romney kissing up to Trump. You should be, no good can come out of that association.

            Amy,

I can only speak for myself, but I would disagree with your comment regarding Independents. They are paying attention, and at this point I don't think Romney being stiff would have anything to do with how they vote.

It really comes down to, are you better off today, and I can tell you personally, I am not.

Mo, did you watch President Obama yesterday? Not impressive.
