Hilary did not get the nod because Dem voters did not want the election to be about Bill's genitals. It's a shame because she would have been a great POTUS. I think almost any Dem could have taken McCain down.

If you want working conditions as they were pre 1910, keep voting GOP, and that is what you will get. Ladies, they are after your vote......no, they don't want you to cast your votes for them, they want to take your right to vote. They want every group that votes Dem disenfranchised. All you have to do is look at what is happening in GOP controlled states to see what they have planned for us nationwide. If you are a Dem, you are marked to lose your vote. They are starting with the easy marks first.

The minimum wage needs to be at least 10.00 per hour. Wages must increase, or we are done. We are maxed out on credit at this point. Higher wages are the way to growth. Taxes must be raised on those who can afford to pay. In time, this will mean the middle class as well as the rich, because we must pay our bills off.

Just cutting spending will not do it. Financial experts, including Kiplinger's, agree on this.I know I often worked extra hours to make more money when I needed it, even found better paying work when it was available and millions of Americans have employed the same measures over the decades. Raising revenue worked under Reagan and Clinton. I still remember the Reagan tax increases, they were so bad, but they were needed.

Certainly, there is fat to be trimmed, but infrastructure and teachers are not fat. They are the future of the country's economy.

Romney would allow class sizes to continue mounting, and cuts to help kids get a college education would go to put money in the pockets of the banks. We don't need to use banks to collect on college loans, and that money will help our best and brightest succeed.

The key is education. We have to do better. Every child has the right to get the best education in the world, and it is not happening. We have a crazy quilt, cookie cutter system that works better than it has a right to because our teachers care, often more than parents.

There is unease in the Romney camp about Paul's successful delegate gathering tactic and winning the nomination.
