Newt Gingrich will make his first appearance with presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney on May 29 in Las Vegas.
NBC News has learned the former House speaker will attend a fundraiser for Romney at Trump Towers in Las Vegas Tuesday evening. Donald Trump will also attend.
The last time Gingrich and Romney were in Nevada together was in early February, amid a bitter fight for the nomination.
Rumors broke just days before the Feb. 4 Nevada caucuses – and were confirmed by several news outlets -- that Trump himself would endorse Gingrich. Hours later, however, the casino mogul endorsed Romney.
A joint public event with the two former competitors may occur next month.

Wow, I don't often travel to liberal land, so reading how rabidly you people really hate conservatives is somewhat shocking.
This country, the average American simply can’t take a return to “more of the same”, Bush-Cheney style, with the “puppet” politicians performing as their “strings are pulled” ... and that is exactly what “the money” wants, what they are paying for. The likes of Rove, Cheney, Norquist, SuperPacs and several others are all selling just that, the organization, control and power over the party, and then the likes of Boehner, McConnell, Cantor, Ryan, Bachmann and several others are dutifully performing. “The money” is aggressively paying for it to emphatically assure their interests are the total concentration, without any concern for the majority, as has been totally proven over the last twelve years. They say whatever they feel will excite and sway the people, always rationalized as “conservative”, but do only what “the money” wants and then depend on the power and influence of “the money” to help con the people and manipulate public opinion. The Republican / Tea Party has literally become owned and controlled by “the money” and the only way to break that stranglehold that continually pushes this country further into being a two-class society, with “the few” (1%) competing in having it all while the majority (99%) keeps loosing more, is to firmly and totally reject their “puppet” candidates / politicians, and thereby render “the money” ineffective. It is up to the voters.

If Only. There are too many people in this country that are being led by the nose. They've been brainwashed. They've succumbed to the onslaught of propaganda being thrown out there. I'm afraid these millions of people will screw things up again. Call me a pessimist. I hope I'm wrong.
There are some otherwise articulate people coming on these comment boards who are obviously blind to what's really going on. They probably think it's great to have a one-party fascist state, which is the direction we're heading. They are confused by the "conservative" dogma. Poor people are lazy, they should just go out and get jobs. Unemployed people should do the same. Entitlements? People should have saved up for it, never mind that the standard of living for half the country has gone down and there is no disposable income. These mega rich donors think of money like a drug, they just can't get enough of it. What do they need a government for, they have their own infrastructure, their own world, so to speak. So they're all for cutting out the programs that benefit the vast majority of Americans so they can pad their hedge fund portfolios.
I just think too many people have been snowed into believing all that crap - the poor are poor because they're lazy, etc. As of now I fear for the future of America. I wonder if it's being taken over, much like Germany was taken over in the 1930s. I guess time will tell. After November 6th I con start to make plans one way or another.

When they try to say Obama said he was born in Kenya that is funny. It wasn't Kenya yet. So he would have said whatever it was called whatever that is. I saw it once but don't remember what it was. Kenya didn't become Kenya til 1963. And I wonder if McCain ever says he was born in Panama like he was.

I hope they talk about how Obama said he wanted the price of gas to go up and keep on track with that one. They've been laying it on thick for quite a long time now haven't they. Good tactic. You know, the high price of gas is all Obama's fault and we can thank him for the price at the pump. That's what all the big wig GOP peeps are saying these days. Just remember it's because of Obama! When you leave for your long weekend trip and stop at the pump make sure you remember, right wingers, that you have Obama to thank for that gas your pumping which is on average FOURTEEN CENTS LOWER THAN IT WAS LAST MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!
