Hi Guys!

Thanks for bringing back the boiler room, it was missed!

Why are negative ads so highly effective?

Have we sunk so low as a country, we would rather tear it down, then lift it up?

I don't understand why they work, when I'm looking to purchase something, the last thing I want is the salesman bad mouthing the competition!

Tell me WHY your product is superior & NOT what's wrong with the other guy!

Is it just me, or are the ads attacking Obama actually not very effective? I find myself watching the clips of the President the Republicans replay, thinking "gosh, I like this man," not the intended effect, I'm sure.

We know Walker should be booted out:

He did not run on Union- annihilating, or on shifting WI budget monies away to the wealthy and corporations. He did not run on slashing Education. Walker did not run on Voter Suppression. He did not run on selling public lands. He did not run on balancing the budget with cash given to the state for the purpose of housing help for citizens.

Due to a WI loophole in the law, Walker has been able to get $$multi-millions in Big Money from around the country. While WI Dems are known for grassroots small donations.

GOP in WI ran fake Democrats to mess around with the votes.

His Koch backers put Walker there from the start, and if he wins you WILL smell C.O.R.R.U.P.T.I.O.N. for thousands of miles.

(Remember when Walker did 1 a.m. votes to sleaze them through?)

(Remember when Walker did 1 a.m. votes to sleaze them through

Remember him taking the call he believed was from David Koch?

Remember him being caught on tape bragging to a billionaire donor about his divide & conquer strategy?

WTF is WRONG with these people?

Why isn't there more coverage on behalf of the president? For example, there are a gazillion off-message statements by Romney surrogates, yet the only one we hear about for days is what some little-known mayor said about private equity.

Imagine if the DNC took some of the famous Republicans like Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, even Sarah Palin and put them on their website the same way "Stand with Newt Gingrich" against vulture capitalism. There are surrogates for the president, but I guess they'll only get coverage by the so-called 'liberal" media if/when one of them goes off message.

At least focus more on the contrast between the president's latest 5-point list for congress versus the Norquist pledge/Paul Ryan budget/Romney plan. And the GOP spins it by saying they will close loopholes thus being able to lower rates for everyone, but in reality they will do neither. They will only reduce taxes for the rich even more.

Romney's plan is the worst in terms of adding at least 5 trillion (up to 10 trillion) to the debt/deficits. Are rightwingers really okay with that? I suspect they don't know, and it's the media's fault. Let's get some fair and balanced reporting, and expose these things!

Hey Guys, Why does the Left seem to be whinging so much lately? Is it the impending doom they see coming?

Just take a look at the questions in this thread. Everyone is a victim:

Why do we have to watch negative ads??

Why can Walker get so much money?

Why isn't the re better coverage of Obama?

Why doesn't the MSM ask Romney any tough questions?

WHAAAAAaaaaaa!

Why do polls always skew for "likely voters", wouldn't it be better to use only registered voters ?

After all, if a person is not registered, they are NOT likely to voter (or even be able to vote).

What's the inside story on the Wisconsin election? Who are the negative ads affecting? Are more republicans planning to vote or a more Dems moving to the dark side because of the ads? Or are they planning to stay home. Something does not add up.

Hi Gingerbread Mamma,

My personal thoughts on the WI recall is, this is the an excellent indicator on the results of Citizen's United!

Democrats are being outspent by 25:1 - with most of the money coming from out of state secret SuperPac's...

It will all come down to whether or not we can get out the vote!

Amen - my KY truth-teller!

Old Mark of his claim to fame is calling the President a d!ck, looked like he was about to cream himself on the Chris Matthews show earlier, when talking about Willard!

Maybe, he could hand Willard a towel to wipe the sweat off - haven't seen any politician who perspired more then Nixon!

In all the states where the Republican and Democratic primaries have both been held how does the Republican and Democratic voter turnout in primaries compare to 2004?

Especially in the battle ground / swing states.

Tell me actual plans and how you intend to implement them. Be specific.

Tell me what is good about you - not what is bad about your opponent.

Do your entire ad without referencing your opponent. Convince me!

My question is this: Why does Romney think he actually created wealth when all he ever did was extract existing wealth, sometimes from healthy companies, to the point where many of them collapsed under the debt from the leveraged buyout, and why does he think that he has any chance at winning seeing as how a great majority of the population are blaming people like him for the near total destruction of the middle class by enriching themselves at the cost of The People....and not paying anywhere near the same percentage as 'the little people' in taxes nor creating the jobs that those lower taxes were supposed to spur?

Texas is neither a battle ground or swing state, unfortunately.

Is there any indication of what's going on in the GOP Senatorial race for Hutchisons seat.

The primary vote is this coming Tuesday. Who's gonna win, Dewhurst, Leppert or Cruz?

What role will Ron Paul play during the remainder of this election cycle? Will the strategy of winning at the state conventions be effective and will he be a spoiler come November?

When is someone going to call Romney out for all the lies?

Govt spending is flat... Known fact, yet he seems to ignore that fact.

President Obama has NEVER apologized for the US - EVER

He wrote an editorial that clearly stated "Let Detroit Go Bankrupt", but now claims Obama just did as he suggested...

We're not living in the dark ages - we have proof all of these statements are blatant lies, yet no one is calling him out. WHY?

'When is someone going to call Romney out for all the lies?

I hear ya' Lyn. Maybe Willard needs some truth serum or a psychiatrist, not sure that reporters can do it, but it certainly is worth the try.

I hear about the 100,000 jobs created by Mitt Romney at Bain in 25 years (not really sure how long he worked there but he says he has 25 years private industry experience), I wonder when President Obama will start talking about the 4.2 million jobs he created or saved in 3 years as a comparison?

If the Republican party can successfully convince the electorate that this administration has a determination to bring the coal industry to it's knees. How will that effect the vote in Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania?

Why won't the media challenge Romney on his lies?

Why won't the media ask questions like the Daily Show does?

How is it a comedic nightly "news cap" does a better job at ferreting out the BS than seasoned veterans?

Ask the tough questions dammit..of both candidates and their cronies.

And before I forget: Quit milking stories into fake controversy, why is that..ratings?

By the looks of 98% of the questions here, it looks like the usual clients and loudspeakers of the left are getting very nervous. Go ahead MSNBC and cater to your left of left only, while you could be doing much better on the ratings and be a little more fair. Get rid of your tingling up the leg. To your left client I say not to worry, it is only May and the polls are just a barometer and they could prove to be wrong. However they can prove to be correct.

Last on my questions, Why do you allow so much smutt by some of the People here from both the Left and the right?

Hi Mark & Domenico---glad to see the Boiler Room back; thanks for taking our questions.

I'm wondering about the return of birtherism, Reverend Wright, etc. I thought these issues were resolved 4 years ago. Is it an attempt to stir up the base but does it risk alienating the folks in the middle?

Why do states allow outside money to be poured into their state and local elections? I understand national elections but state offices?

What are the chances of true campaign finance reform?
