His Bridge to Nowhere

Mitt Romney will campaign today in New Hampshire, looking for his own "bridge to nowhere." The Romney camp thinks they have found it in a 19th century bridge no longer used for traffic that was restored with state and federal funds. Romney will use the location to emphasize what he sees as the misuse of taxpayer funds in the face of the growing national debt.

According to the Union Leader of Manchester, Romney is scheduled to speak in Hillsborough on Friday afternoon, and will highlight the Sawyer Bridge as an example of unnecessary government spending.

Romney's attack on the $288,000 bridge ($150K in stimulus funds) restoration will run into several immediate challenges: Funding for the project was overwhelmingly supported by state Republicans, including a significant number who have now endorsed Romney for president.

$288 thousand not million or billion that town officials have said they want to turn the area into a public park.

Congratulations to Chuck Todd, great job on Jeopardy. Smart guy, and modest.

Karma and hubris caught up with moonbat Chris Matthews, who at least 4 times dissed Sarah Palin saying she would be embarassed on Jeopardy. Needless to say, Chris looked foolish.

What is up with the MSNBC "Lean Forward" commercials? They are all nothing but Obama reelection talking points. I think a complaint could be filed with the FCC saying MSNBC is an Obama Super PAC!

Pathetic, ruining the brand irrevocably.

Hey Vaginal Bob---you forgot to mention it was Chris's third time on jeopardy. First time he won, second time lost by $1,000. Who looks foolish now?

Bob! Do we have to go through this again. To begin with it's not the FCC it's the FEC (federal election commission). If a complaint was filed with the FEC about Fox being the tea people Koch republican propaganda machine, they'd be convicted in a minute. Fox has even admitted being a right wing nut job station. They've even got the queen of hate who by the way doesn't even read on their payroll.

    Are you kidding? lmao!!!!!!!!!!

Mo - great post, but these rightwing loonies just don't get it. You know, with their heads stuck in the sand and all.

MSNBC lean forward commercials are absolutely awesome and address the issues which other networks don't. Keep up the Great job. Chris Matthews just tells it like it is. Some can't handle the truth!

LOL, Isn't Chris Matthews that one that gets a tingle up his leg when listening to Obama. BTW, does anyone even listen to that left wing hack anymore. The lowest rated show on TV.
