Updated 12:53 p.m. - Mitt Romney found himself in a difficult position -- and on the receiving end of an attack by President Obama's campaign -- after an RNC official suggested the presumptive Republican nominee is "still deciding" on his position on immigration.
Bettina Inclan, the director of Hispanic outreach for the Republican National Committee, appeared to suggest the former Massachusetts governor's immigration position was still very much up in the air.

Mitt Romney addresses a crowd of supporters during a rally May 8.
"As a candidate, to my understanding, he's still deciding what his position on immigration is," Inclan said at a briefing for reporters on the party's outreach to Latinos.
The quote quickly exploded on Twitter, and the president's re-election campaign condemned the comment.
Inclan later tweeted that she had misspoken, and included a link to Romney's immigration policy.
"Over the past year Mitt Romney has proven time and time again that he is the most extreme presidential candidate in modern history on immigration," said Gabriela Domenzain, the Obama campaign's director of Hispanic press. "Mitt Romney has decided to be the most extreme presidential candidate on immigration; Hispanics and all Americans have heard it loud and clear."
Domenzain pointed in particular to the instances in the Republican primary in which Romney outflanked his opponents to their right. Romney had promised to veto the DREAM Act, and curiously suggested at a GOP presidential debate that his immigration policy involves "self-deportation."
Romney faces a serious deficit among Hispanic voters versus Obama, according to recent polling, a gap that means trouble for the Republican nominee this fall, and possibly spells long-term peril for the party.
That said, Romney has begun softening his language on immigration as he begins pivoting toward the general election. He said he's studying a proposal by Florida Sen. Marco Rubio -- a possible running mate for Romney -- to modify the DREAM Act to allow legal residency, but not citizenship, to illegal immigrants in a narrow set of circumstances.
Complicating matters for the Romney campaign, though, is the Obama campaign's uncontested advantage is Hispanic media. The president's campaign announced a second wave of Spanish-language radio and TV ads (focused on health care reform) on Tuesday.

ROFL, great ad
Mitt that ad is not weather vane. You just cannot stick your finger in the air and think the answer to your supporters is there.
Not one of the extreme candidates or Tea baggers chosen for your VP slot can help you.
Mitt, you are too, as they say , windy. Everything that comes out of your mouth is nothing but hot air.
Your own party does not trust you.
Until when?
Wednesay November 7, 2012?
Jaysus! What is up with these clowns running Willard's campaign?
Are they supposed to represent the very best & brightest?
If so, they sure as hell make a ton of rookie mistakes!
Look at it this way, we are being told what a fabulous leader Willard is, when in fact he can't even manage his own campaign & we are to believe he would make a great President? lol
Bev...you beat me to it. lol indeed. Give me time he says, I'll get back to you...standard Romney campaign response.
Gingerbread Mamma
Bev...you beat me to it. lol indeed. Give me time he says, I'll get back to you...standard Romney campaign response.
I honestly laughed when I saw the ad. The first thing that came to my mind was Bob Dole.
I guess it's kind of like Obama "still deciding" on Gay marriage.
The Weather Vane known as Willard is still waiting to see which way the political winds are blowing.
Why, yes. I suppose you could say it IS a lot like that.
But without that matter of religious conscience thing.
WCA, ANNA, I disagree as he has stated on a personal and religious note he is against it, but since he is not here to push his religious views on anyone but work for the American people including gays as a whole, how would his choice to allow gay marriage effect everyone what would be the out come, how much resistance or could it even pass congress to become law. Not much different than dropping don't as don't tell for the military. He wants to allow gay marriage and he knows what he wants for immigration unlike flip boy here
Well, I guess, as it pertains to immigration, Romney could just try to get the Justice Dept. to trample on the Constitution and then lose the SCOTUS case when it gets there.
Oh wait, that was our current President.
WCA how do you stretch the health care act into immigration, talk about mixing messages. Just what about immigration at this point comes close to trampling the Constitution in that mind of yours.
Well Tis, according to Jay Carney the President's stance is "Evolving" on Gay marriage.
A comment he made, by the way, while the White House Press corps was laughing at him.
If he wants to allow it, why doesn't he push for it? Hell, he could have got it done in the first 3 months of his Presidency.
Not the ACA Tis, the Arizona Immigration Law case that they lost a couple weeks ago.
Crude and slow clansman, your attack was no better then that of a clumsy child.
White Collar Auto
Well This, according to Jay Carney the President's stance is "Evolving" on Gay marriage
Stiff Collar,
Unlike the Republican & Teabaggers President Obama obviously believes in evolution.
Tis -- you do have a point, as evinced by his direction to DoJ to no longer defend DOMA. On the other hand, if that's his position, then why doesn't he just say so? Why doesn't he push for it, as WCA rightly asks.
We all know why he doesn't. Call it a matter of religious conscience, or even political conscience, if you like, but it's conscience, just the same.
Simply put, he wants to win the election.
And THEN he'll be able to trash his own religious beliefs in good conscience because he'll have no more elections to win.
@WCA - Not the ACA Tis, the Arizona Immigration Law case that they lost a couple weeks ago.
WCA - We shall see what the SCOTUS decides. However, speaking strictly politically, a strike down of the DOJ protest to SB1070 will not help the GOP cause.
Once that decision is made, Romney will have to say whether he supports the decision or not. For a large majority of Latinos his agreement with SCOTUS and SB1070 will not endear him to that voting bloc.
Concerning the "Rubio Dream act" (misnomer), it sounds more like an indentured servitude contract with no hope for citizenship. Instead of making another sublevel of legality; why not just propose for more temporary work permits and increased allowed immigration?
The Rubio plan would install a "Brave New World" lifetime sentence of delta and epsilon underclass subservients.
My thoughts are that Romney wouldn't even be able to accept Marco's plan.
Gee WCA from what I read the supreme court has not announced its ruling yet, and not until June. Did you get an advance copy of the ruling. I think that if flippy wants to be the president then he should have determined his view on immigration before the primary don't you think since it is such an important subject that he has to pander by going to Rubio who is Cuban not Mexican like flippy is oh right French and Mexican where is his birth certificate by the way.
Well Anna Molly, I contend that our President has ONLY a Political Conscience. He will do anything to get elected.
He won't push for Gay Marriage, even though it is the right thing to do, because he is afraid it will upset Independent voters.
I at least understand that. In the big picture agenda that he has of destroying our country, Gay marriage is just a blip and if he doesn't get re-elected, he can't put those destructive policies in place.
BTW, I answered your questions on the previous thread. Doubt you care for the response though.
WCA you always shoot off these accusations that Obama is going to destroy this country Where is the proof
right now your all bark and no bite
Romney is still deciding what's the next lie he's going to tell.
Obvioulsy, Latinos didn't fall for Romney's "I'm a Mexican too" and they didn't fall for the "self-deportation" idea either.
Next up from Romney on Immigration, and even bigger lie.
Obama/Biden 2012
OK, I know I jumped the gun on the SCOTUS decision, but when Justice Sotomayor questions the merit of the case, I tend to believe that the White House is in trouble.
I still believe that Legal Immigrants, support Legal Immigration. The Democrat Party has alredy co-opted the Latino vote, just tlike they co-opted the African American vote, by making promises they can't keep.
I will, never in my life, understand why a group of voters continue to blindly follow a party that has led them down a path of poverty and government handouts.
Kind of reminds me of the definition of Insanity.
WCA i will never understand why people follow a party that gives to the rich and takes from the poor
"I will, never in my life, understand why a group of voters continue to blindly follow a party that has led them down a path of poverty and government handouts" Gee why would anyone continue to blindly follow a party that gives them handouts (tax cuts for that second home) or lets get rid of freedom of choice for healthcare. Lets reduce the size of Government by controlling what happens in your bedroom or your doctors office. Better yet lets just let the government tell us when we can vote or not and for whom. Sounds to me like your the one with eyes closed.
Seriously. Already been there, done that, before I posted here.
Next time, give me something tough to do. ;-)
Why do you all hate successful people?
TO: White Collar Auto who wrote:

Obama/Biden 2012
WCA i don't hate successful people in fact i admire them
I just want a more fair taxation system along with other things
Dang it AM, I went back and read your reponse and their isn't a cogent thought in any of it.
I was hoping for better.
Anna Molly, "And THEN he'll be able to trash his own religious beliefs in good conscience because he'll have no more elections to win". I don't agree he has to trash his beliefs to do this. He has to set his beliefs aside for the best interest of all Americans. To tell gays they have less rights than anyone else is morally and ethically wrong, no more that is was to tell women they did not have the right to vote, or they do not have the right to choose abortion or not. That African Americans were less than human, when as a society do we grow up and back up the rights of freedom and choice. I do not push my beliefs on anyone else so why do they get to push theirs on me. Who determines or has the right to determine which class of people have less value than another. Since when did one class become the gods for another.
Tis according to the National Taxpayers Union, the top 10% of earners paid over 70% of all income taxes.
So help me out, how much is fair?
WCA still trying to use numbers to make your point. Yes and those top 10% made over 300% more than the rest of us and yet only paid 70% of taxes. Do we really need to continue with pointless numbers like this. Its not hard to make numbers fit our needs is it. Before you say more I have nothing against successful people or people with lots of money. But I do have issue with how some of them get that money. A CEO making 280% more than the person on the floor is obscene since without that person on the floor he would make nothing. While the CEO income has gone up over 200% the little person on the floor has made 5% more during the same time. That I have a problem with. That is wrong and taking advantage of the worker who keeps that CEO employed. That is what is called GREED! and not shared sacrifice so if the only way is to make them pay a little more in taxes like a whopping 5% in bush tax cuts wow let me feel sorry for them. NOT! WCA come down off that tower you live on and try the streets sometime.
Please stop the nonsense President Obama will not say anything because he does not want to loose the Black vote (me). You of all people should have found this on the President.
Barack Obama on Gayand Lesbian Rights - Where does Barack Obama ...
lesbianlife.about.com/od/lesbianactivism/p/BarackObama.htm
"Although Barack Obama has said that he supports civil unions, he is against gay marriage. In an interview with the Chicago Daily Tribune, Obama said, "I'm a Christian."
You girlfriend Beisty, sorry Feisty, and all your Chicago Mob full of wind on this here left, in the tank site would not last one second out of this septic tank of brainless tape recorders.
Both President Obama and Romney are playing the odds, and by the way they both stand for Civil Union and so do I. When it all gets said and done it will be the ECONOMY STUPID and the DEBT. And now you are going to discredit the source.
lesbianlife.about.com/od/lesbianactivism/p/BarackObama.htm
WCA if you look back in history before Ronald Regan There was a 90% tax If you made more then (say as an example) 5 million dollars. Yet your company made upwards of 500 million dollars for the year as a net gain after all expense were paid. Instead of taking the whole 500 million and pocketing it the CEO's and such would take 5 million dollars then INVEST the rest back into their companies what that did is it would expand the company and create jobs and workers in the company would be paid better.
Now i am not certain on all the details but this is just an example and THIS is what creates the jobs. but now days CEOs aren't required to pay a 90% tax if they make above a certain point so they can pocket the rest of the money
What he meant to say was :I'm waiting for Karl Rove and my good friends Charles and David Koch to tell me what to say.Besides who will mow my lawn
Americans will vote for leaders who pledge to enforce, rather than subvert, our immigration laws. The MSNBC article quoted:
NO--- MR. Domenzain--- THE EXTREMISTS ARE THOSE --- LIKE YOU-- WHO FAVOR GRANTING AMNESTY AND SPECIAL TREATMENT TO THE IMMIGRATION LAWBREAKERS! THOSE WHO PLEDGE TO ENFORCE OUR LAWS ARE THE REASONABLE MODERATES.
As a life-long Democrat, I will NOT be voting for any candidate who has pandered to the immigration lawbreakers and their insufferable advocates. I will not support granting amnesty and spcecial treatment for the immigration lawbreakers!
Tis did you really just jump on me for using numbers to make my point and then say this:
While the CEO income has gone up over 200%
A CEO making 280% more than the person on the floor
Really?
That's not greed by the way. That is called success. You should try it. You probably would like it.
Considering that the top 20% of earners control about 85% of the wealth in this country, that 70% (of the total amount) isn't quite so lop-sided as you make it sound, is it? What's "fair" isn't a question of "how much" -- if only it were that easy -- rather, it's a question of simple ethics. Get rid of the unneeded extra breaks, the loopholes, the offshoring, the self-fulfilling prophecy of unregulated speculation, etc. -- you know, that stuff us average folk don't have access to because we don't have our own filled money bin to swim in. I dunno if it'd be "fair" per se after that, but I bet it'd be a heckuva lot closer to whatever "fair" is than what we've got now.
How the hell is this fair?
From 1978 to 2011, CEO compensation increased more than 725 percent, a rise substantially greater than stock market growth and the painfully slow 5.7 percent growth in worker compensation over the same period.
Hardly a level playing field... No?
Romney is "still deciding" on immigration and Obama "is evolving" on gay rights. Both political holding ploys.
But the crucial difference for each of those demographic groups as far as voters, is the credibility behind the statements.
Obama has never advocated repressive actions for gays,he just has not pursued legislation as favorable as gays would like. He has not evolved from a neutral to a forward.
Romney has advocated for repressive legislation that is targeted against Latinos (albeit meant for undocumented immigrants). He is still deciding if he will move from a negative to something that is palatable for his right wing backers.
They are both politicians. Anyone who makes it to a Presidential election is first and foremost a politician - that's a given.Of course this is about garnering votes.
But for the majority of voters in these two groups it comes down to a matter of which candidate do they feel is for them not just for their vote.
Thank you Katheryn I couldn't have said it any better
Mutt Romney, tie him to the top of your car and take him for a ride.
@ WCA --
If you want cogent thought, you have to pay extra.
But continuing on with the theme of silly questions, has Romney made up his mind on immigration yet?
Because THEY earn it, silly goose, a lot like landowning slaveholders earned it.
@ Feisty --
See what I mean?
AM he is right in his own way it is "success"
but there is a fine line between success and greed and not many people can see the difference anymore
Of course Mitten is still up in the air on immigration. Who will mow his lawn if he can't hire illegal immigrants at a substandard wage?
I'm still up in the air on whether he's an establishment backstabber or just plain sleazy.
Of course this article "magically" appears after it is announced in another article about the "new" Border Patrol tactics.
Sheeesh, campaigning is plain ugly, and it is going to get worse from the Obama camp since Mr. Obama cannot defend ANY of his FAILED agenda/policies.
Kathryn--- Advocating the enforcement of our immigration laws and rejecting special treatment and rewards for immigration lawbreakers is not "repressive". I voted for Obama in '08. I have never voted for a Republican, but I probably will in 2012 as a result of Obama's commitment to granting special treatment and de facto amensty (through his non-enforcement policies) and his pledge for suppor for de jure rewards for immigration lawbreakers.
Enforcement of the law against ALL who broke is fair and just. ILLEGAL FOREIGN NATIONALS do NOT deserve special rewards incident to their lawbreaking or treatment equivalent to LEGAL immigrants, who paid a high price, waited the wait, and went through a background check to be here. And Kathryn, before spewing your statements that imply that enforcing the law is tantamount to targeting any particular ethnicity --- please identify ANY statement on the part of Romney that has indicated that he is interested only in enforcing our laws as against "Latinos" (which you mention). That HAS NOT OCCURRED! That tactic used by you and others of similar intellectual dishonesty is the lowest form of discussion--- it's called a lie!
Anna Molly,
You can set your watch by them... lol
If Obama can dodge the gay marriage topic and lie every time he opens his mouth, why can't Romney be "flexible" on some things?
No hot mic under the table nuke deals with Russia. Or lets make a terrorist deal from Romney either. I trust Romney 10 fold over the current liar in chief.
Romney will say whatever he thinks will get him elected as opposed to what he really believes and plans to enact/enforce. The man lies like a rug.
When did achieving success beyond your wildest dreams become a crime in America? Never mind, I know the answer...January 21st, 2009. The day the American dream started to die.
Let's face it, Mitt Romney is craven. He doesn't have a clue what any of his positions are and to me that makes him unfit for the Presidency.
It is so obvious that he doesn't have a novel idea in that air head of his. And it's not the changing of one's mind that bothers me so much - we all do that with more/better data -- he clearly doesn't know what he stands for.
He's a poster child from the 80's.

Anna Molly,
Feisty Redhead Roselle, IL,
First CEO's don't own the plantation they are hired based on their potential value to impress shareholders and build the company. They are the equivalent of a quarter back on a foot ball team. That's why they make so much. Oh and employees are free to leave at any time if they don't like working under a certian CEO.
WCA. a CEO making that much money is success on your and his/her own way.
I know a lot of ppl that have succeded on many things and dont make that much.
Also, if you werent born on the right place at the right time, with the right ppl, and knew the right friends, and you are not a CEO, that doesnt make you less succesfull than them. You just didnt have the opportunities that they had.
I am a Mexican (born) single mother. Never been on government help. Work very hard to raise my children, went to school. became a citizen! yes, I am citizen because being an educated immigrant. Now, am i a succesful person... Hell yes!!!!! but i still dont make as much as those CEO's.
Now, if i was born in the US, had student loans, or had money from my family, went to Harvard (i am smart enoguh to be in good schools, just not time or &&), then I would be making as much or around what a CEO is making.
Please dont belittle ppl that work very hard to make their paychecks by saying they are not succesful.
Ha . . . this is not the first time someone from the Romney campaign has had to take a step back from answering a question on his position on an issue. Just last week (or the week before) one of his “advisors” was asked about Mitt’s position on a different issue and the response was “we’ll get back to you.”
Obvioulsy, no one in his campaign knows his position on anything as Romney himself has no clue . . .
Talk about leadership! It should be crystal clear to anyone that Romney does not possess the leadership skills or conviction to face the challenges ahead. Time after time, his lack of character and weakness of purpose is not suitable for the tasks necessary to assume the office of President of the United States.
OBAMA/BIDEN 2012!!!
I am not nearly as worried about Romney's mental health as his physical health. Has anyone but I noticed Romney taking short fast dainty steps when he walks, or the way he stands with his hands and feet together like a school marm when he addresses someone, or the crowd ? To me it looks like Romney is either really trying to hold it, or is in some sort of pain in his lower extremities.
No one sincerely cares about immigration especially the rich bich politicians" except the job seekers..
And well how many ? The media really screws with this so its hard to say"
You people do not see the picture here for the American farmer all across the south. It is not an easy thing to get hands to help get in products that must be hand picked, like strawberries, that can only be picked as they ripen up. not all berries can be on one trip thru the field. you must go back later get the late ones. there is no machine that can do this. the flower plants you get at your nursurey or hardware store or Walmart all have to be hand loaded counted, handled. If you don't have knowlagable people you have problems. I suppose we could take all those from the northeast and eastern states and bus them to say California to work. and that would take care of that problem. You see Mexico is the land of rich and poor. There is no working middle class. Just what the GOP wants here. Before you decide to jump all over I suggest you read your parties retoric very closely first. You can do this while you are being transported to Ca. from N.C. for your new job. What we are looking for here is legal labor for farmers (not free loaders). I can see things in a logical manner, yes this a dumb idea on one hand but a feasible thought on the other. If you have a better idea let's hear it, don't just thump the keyboard with bologna.
CEO's don't deserve the money they make. They are suppose to help their companies but how many have run the companies down & still walk away with hugh amounts.
The people that deserve to get paid the most are the people that actually help. I could see police, fireman, making more as they put their lives on the line every day.
Especially when you compare it to the fact workers compensation has remained FLAT!
What I find ironic is, Mitt's grandparents (along with mine) fled Mexico about 100 years ago to escape Pancho Villa's red flaggers. When they arrived at the border, I was told as a child by several of them that they had no papers, but nobody even came out of the border patrol office to inquire of them. They just passed through without note -- a non-event. I do not understand how Mitt reconciles that part of his heritage with his (current) position on immigration. And that's just the tip of an iceberg in his position. He must be just pandering.
Hurry and buy your tickets at the flip flopper clown show, door prizes of Mitt puppets made in China !
It will be a sad day for most of you when Romney is your new president. Hate Mitt all you want, he is what this country needs and BO needs to go. It was a sad day for me when BO was elected. Though I was not happy he won, I really hoped that BO would do good things and turn the US around. He has not and his own record will be his undoing. Actions speak louder than words. BO still has words but when you add his actions with his words it takes fuzzy math to arrive at anything positive.
Angelica -If the majority of Latino voters feel as you do and believe that Romney and the Republicans have their best interests at heart, they will vote for Romney.
What worries Romney's campaign is that the polls right now are showing the majority of Latino voters do not plan to vote for Romney. So you may not be concerned, but Romney and his campaign are.
At the very least, Romney has a perception problem.
Making statements like a people should "self-deport" has a condescending air about it.
Advocating for a law that targets Latinos by requiring them to carry proof of citizenship with them all of the time apparently feels repressive to the Latino voters who are being polled.
Whether it is true or not, what is being reflected in the polls is that the majority of Latino voters do not feel that Romney has their best interests at heart.
I wish we had no illegal immigration, but it doesn't matter what I think. It does matter what those Latinos who are being polled think.
Romney better get his message out. Because Latinos are not believing in his credibility where they are concerned.
It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the
most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to
change.
--Charles Darwin
Romney is just demonstrating his problem. He is trying to figure out a way to say: "Hispanics, please vote for me and then get the f*** out of my country"... but in a nice way.
It seems to me that Romney is still deciding his position on EVERYTHING, but check back tomorrow, because that may have changed by then.
But if you're conservative, be assured that your presumptive nominee has all his positions covered to your satisfaction, unless your wife/husband/brother/beagle/budgie is a democrat or an independent, in which case Mr. Romney is still considering his position, but agrees with your stance if you'll vote for him.
Other than that, Mr. Romney is certain of where he stands, which is wherever you need him to stand on any given issue, probably.
We know what Mitt's campaign theme song has got to be: "Blowing in the Wind." It is a stirring ballad for such a passionate man of the People. Perhaps if the wind blows hard enough he can summon some support for the least of his brethren in the shadows. But without copious polling by Frank Luntz and others, he just can't decide whether to completely disavow his primary positions on immigration now that the primaries are over (shake the etch a sketch). Maybe Anne can bake the illegal immigrants a cake and throw them a deportation party (all with no hired help), because Anne is a swell girl. Maybe Marco Rubio can sing to them in Spanish and wish them happy trails and "Vaya con Dios."
Feisty -
Really? Is that the standard you're using? Are we to believe then that Obama is a horrible leader because he can't keep his SS in check? Stop trying to hold individuals accountable for the words or actions of others. Mitt has enough from his own mouth to hold against him without stooping to this tactic.
Translation: We're trying to come up with some double speak that will let us pander to both sides while really taking no position.
Vapid and outrageous. He is again waiting for the Republican machine to tell him which way to go. No original thoughts, too liberal to be Republican, too conservative to be Democrat.
This candidate, and consequently this party, is in real identity-crisis mode.
Kathryn--- If Latinos (which you mention) feel that they are being tartgeted merely by the enforcement of our MOST-GENEROUS-IMMIGRATION-LAWS-IN-THE-WORLD (the U.S. permits 1 Million LEGAL immigrants into the U.S. every year--- more than all other countries combined)--- it's just because people like you continue to pepetuate blatant lies and subterfuge.
You have no idea what you are talking about--- there is NO LAW REQUIRING "Latinos" (on which you focus) to carry proof of citizenship (indeed, no CITIZEN, is required to carry proof of citizenship). If you actually knew something about this, you would know and understand that EXISTING FEDERAL LAW ALREADY REQUIRES THAT ALL FOREIGN NATIONALS (non-U.S. citizens) carry proof of their authorization to be in the country--- this means ALL PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT U.S. CITIZENS--- whether they be from Paris, Tokyo, Milan, Spain, England, Canada--- AND EVEN LATINOS FROM LATIN AMERICA. However, the federal law (and the Arizona law as well) are ethnic-neutral--- no where is there any mention of "Latinos" (upon which you focus) in either federal law or Arizona law. How in the world do you think our government officials are supposed to ensure that people are in the country with proper documentation?????--- Or is that the point--- you and open borders advocates like you who are WILLING TO SAY ANYTHING TO MAKE YOUR CHEAP POINT--- YOU DO NOT WANT FOR OUR GOVERNMENT TO BE ABLE TO KNOW WHO IS HERE LEGALLY AND WHO IS NOT! You really don't want for us to have immigration laws. However, in an effort to make your invalid points, please stop making false statements--- EXISTING FEDERAL LAW ALREADY REQUIRES ALL FOREIGN NATIONALS (OF WHATEVER NATIONALITY) TO CARRY PROOF OF AUTHORIZATION TO BE IN THE UNITED STATES! STOP LYING!
flip flop, flip flop...
Mexico already gets more legal immigrants than any other country. And they have multiple times more that come illegally. Immigration policy is easy. Round up the illegals, put them in chains, make they build a wall on the border for a few years and then put them on the other side of it.
Read about a new illegal immigrant scam. Turns out that they file their taxes using their ITN numbers or whatever they are called when you are illegal and cannot get a SSN. When they file they claim a bunch of children in Mexico as dependents. And because the child tax credit is refundable, they get thousands of dollars back when they did not pay anything. The numbers were calculated and the total from the tax credit to illegals surpasses anything that is paid in by the illegals.
Thing is that the government has been aware of this. They just do not care. Last year they gave $4.2 BILLION dollars to illegals on their tax returns because they claimed dependent nieces and nephews in MEXICO!
Read the story here
Romney is deciding what his position on immigration is for the group he speaking to at 8:00 am today. Then he will have another position for the people he talks to as 11:00 am, anther for the group he talks to an noon, another for the one at 2:00 pm, another for the 6:00 pm group and another for the evening fund razing dinner. Then tomorrow it starts all over again.
@AngelicaS
You are right, immigrants are supposed to have their green card with them like their driver license. If you are here on H1 visa, you are to have your (EAC) Employment Authorization card with you instead.
Many experts here on immigration, including our Senators and Congressmen/women that do not really understand how our immigration process works right now. Because latinos are the focus of undocumented or illegal immigrants, they all think this problem is only with latinos. They do not understand, there are other ethnic groups from Asia, Europe, Africa, Middle East who are here illegally. Some of them speak good english, are light skinned that they blend in well, you will not think about their immigration status.
What our government should really look into is:
1. Suspend issuance of H1B visa. We have high unemployment, we do not need to bring in foreign workers. I have worked with many of them, all they look forward is staying long enough to get petitioned for green card. We have a lot of unemployed / underemployed engineers and technicians whose jobs was taken over by H1B workers. The purpose of this program is outdated.
2. Enforce a national ID system. People have complaints about this but this is happening already. You cannot board a plane or enter a government building without a government issued ID. When you get your driver license, there is now a TRUID compliance requirement in the works.
3. If you are here illegally but a parent of a child born as US Citizen, you get to stay. This is already in our law, when the child turns 21, they can petition for the parent. This provision needs to be changed so recent anchor babies do not qualify. Make it retro-active or else, we will see a lot of anchor babies being born before it takes effect.
4. Make a one time "dream act" provision. If the child was brought here illegally by their parents up to a certain year, not age, they can apply to be temporary legal resident for a 10 year period. The parents, NO. They must go back to their home country during the 10 year period just like what deported individuals must do before they are allowed back in the US. They came here for a better life for their children, the children got it, now go back.
I am sure, a lot of people will hate my idea, but hey, someone have to come up with new ideas that utilize what is already in our immigration laws.
Peace.
And that is why this independent is now voting for Obama.......rather have him than old "weather-vane" Mitt.
The question for all voters should be this..just where does Romney stand on anything ? SO far, he goes from one stand to another according to what his right wing party pushes him to. I have to really wonder if he has any feelings or thoughts that are his on any area that he talks about...while saying little if anything about anything. Outside of being a CEo who made tons of money from shutting done other businesses..being a governor that gets little in the way of rave reviews...and costing folks lots of jobs.
Would trickle down economics work today where it has never worked before ? How far will the wealthy, in their private search for more profits , go before this country fails ? How many more companies leave to gain from the cheaper tax breaks provided by our congress to send products back to this country at the cost of even more jobs here ? Is this country headed to become a land for only the elite and the poor ? Would sound like any other third world nation to me...and be one. We have today a congress in its whole who have no ideas about creating jobs....but lots of ideas that do nothing. What good is wasting hours and hours on tax payer money to name a post office building, or a street...the founding fathers would turn over in their graves at the mockery this congress has made of this country and its constitution.
Angelica - Simply put - I am not lying. It doesn't matter what I think about Romney's position on immigration or toward Latinos. It doesn't matter what the facts are or are not. It's a matter of perception -how Latinos think Romney and Republicans feel about them as a people.
Romney has a problem with how the Latino voters who are being polled think about his views on immigration and immigration laws enacted by Arizona. And apparently they don't share your view that it is not aimed at them (documented or not).
So you can rant all you want at me about how great this immigration bill is for Latinos and how Latinos can feel the love the Republicans and Romney have toward them - but it's the Latinos that are being polled that say they don't feel it.
And until a vast majority of Latinos do feel it - Romney ain't gettin' their vote!
So rail all you want girl - it doesn't change the reality of their perception.
Romney won't win Hispanic votes with Sen. Rubio's immigration proposal. That plan allows Hispanics to serve in the military and possibly die for a country that won't grant them full citizenship. Romney's trying to pivot all right, but he's stepping in a pile of sh*t in the process!
I think Romney's going to have one of his carpetbaggers as his choice for VP and play it off as some kind of "fresh meat".
Republican Voters really have have a clue what kind of corrupt people are running under their banner, and they don't have a clue about ANYTHING contained in the "Ryan Plan", which is why Republicans don't discuss the Ryan Plan -- the less known, the better.
Obama/Biden 2012
As usual on this post. Fiesty, Amy B. and American Girl are unable to contribute anything intelligent other than bash those who don't have their same opinion. TAKE NOTE everyone these are the type of people who will be casting their vote for our United States President.
Not only am I voting for him, I am working to get voters registered, volunteering for OFA & knocking on doors reminding voters of the President's accomplishments.
In other words, I am your WORSE nightmare! ;o)
Suck on that!
GranCanyon, I totally agree with you, some times I wonder if they are really of the female gender and not stupid male kids. Being female myself I can not bare to think that they were intelligent females. I thought all women were intelligent.
Lmao....... Good thing you dont live in Detroit. You would get a lot more than a vote, and a smile! 10 people were shot last weekend most for just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
#2.2 - Tue May 8, 2012 3:06 PM EDT .... is GranCanyon the empty space between your ears?
TAKE NOTE everyone...these are the sheep you will not be able to count in your nightmare...more of us than you wolves :)
GO Obaaaahhhhhhma 2012!
GranCanyonWhereYourBrainIsSupposeToBe,
My guess, same people that put Obama in the WH last time will put him there this time around too.
Which would never have happened if the shooters had not had guns.
Three cheers for the NRA. A bankruptcy in every pot, and two guns on every holster belt.
AM criminals are just that, if they did not have guns they would stick a knife in you, if they did not have a knife they would club you with a stick. Guns are not the evil here people are, never yet seen a gun get up off a table and shoot someone all by itself, and all the laws you could dream up would not stop a criminal from getting one but then they would be the only one with a gun. In my area the last month there have been four home invasions and each time they were either shot and killed by the home owner or scared away with a gun in their face. Now all of sudden home invasions have gone down, imagine that.
TO: GranCanyon who wrote:
I'm with Feisty!
But GranCanyon, before you decide who to vote for please take the time to study the "Ryan Plan" so you can see what Republicans have in store for you if they can con enough people into voting for them.
Obama / Biden 2012
As my daughter said, "Being 50% of the population means you can't have special priveleges AND call yourself equal!" Women have just as much right to be stupid, anal-retentive, left- and/or right-wing nutjobs as any man does!
I am very disappointed with the choices it seems we will be stuck with this election for president and think it would be far wiser to invest our energy in redesign of Congress if we hope to achieve anything useful. Obama for president with a 75% Republican Congress should be about right.
And I want to see some effort expended towards education and improvement of the teaching situation in our country (no I am not a teacher). The current president allowed a state to be sued and got the Justice Department to interfere with claim of unconstitutionality of enforcement of laws that are clearly on the books in USC. This should have people crying to impeach. Opinions are great but the laws are there and so clear that anyone willing to put 30 minutes of effort into reading them would have realized that Arizona's SB1070 could not possibly be unconstitutional and the very idea of profiling in law enforcement being restricted is stupid beyond belief. Here would be the description given out to the officers after your home was burglarized.
"Attention all officers. Be on the lookout for three human beings of restricted gender, restricted approximate age, wearing clothes that we can't describe because they may indicate membership in a particular race, religion, sex or other protected minority last seen leaving some neighborhood that we can't identify as it may profile the residents of the neighborhood." Good luck with ever catching a criminal unless the citizen being robbed, attacked, raped or whatever takes matters into their own hands because the police, who did not witness the crime, cannot profile anybody as the actual criminal and the judge cannot issue any warrant based on a non-descript description.
Riiiiiiiiight...because making something illegal to possess will cut off people's ability to obtain it. We see how well that works in the drug market.
Yeah, now would be a good time to take a different look at immigration. Most Americans know that we need a better way for the states to control illegal immigration.
But we also know that there is a need to make a concerted effort to help those families who have lived here for many, many years contributing to our country to become a citizen.
Brian,
I couldn't agree more - it is well past time we quit kicking the can down the road!
Good to see you this morning - hope you are feeling better! ☺
Hi Feisty! Thanks for the well wishes. Finally feeling much better and almost as good as new again. A few simple changes in the daily routine have made for a world of difference. Simple changes to daily exercise and diet are beginning to have positive effects.
Truly believed I would never be back to say hello I love each and every one of you. Thought I had bought the farm - still keeping fingers crossed to make election. Need some big time help from you Moonbats and RWNJ's (I am an equal oppurtunity insulter with a giant whole in my head - no jokes please LOL). Please email me direct at kait.ash.val@hotmail .com so I can practice using hand/eye/brain stuff.
Fiesty, nojo - love you both.
Love to all Phinephancy

Sounds you had a brain injury or stroke? If so, sorry to hear that. Best wishes on your recovery. Try not to think about politics, that subject will give anyone a headache!
Brian - excellent news!
You were missed in your absence!
Welcome back phine - wishing you a full & speedy recovery!
Hey Phine...welcome back!!!!! :-) :-) :-) :-)
Hoping you have a good recovery!!!!
And where is my insult huh??? Perhaps you could call me a wishy-washy moderate? LOL!
phine---best wishes for your recovery----candles lit!
Nomoresameo----missed seeing you; glad you are OK.
I don't understand this "move to the middle" for Romney---he's on tape saying he is against the DREAM Act and suggesting that illegal immigrants would "self-deport" if people would quit hiring them. How do you move away from that?
Phine take care of yourself.
Welcome back!!!
Phine, I hope you have a speedy recovery. Best wishes to you and your family.
Phine, all the best. Please keep up if you can and tell us how things are going.
Hey Phine, Hope you make a full recovery
All best wishes on your recovery, phine.
phine -
Welcome back and glad to hear you decided against buying the proverbial farm. Isn't modern medicine a wonder? Hope you plan on hanging around till long after the election, though - there are a lot of other "survivors" here on First Read who are pulling for you. Hang tough and keep smiling.
phine--ditto on the welcome back! It is not just the "survivors" pulling for you--the rest of us are too!
Sending healing thoughts and images your way!
Phine I tried your email and it returned it as undeliverable so I sent and email to your Vine address. I hope you get well.
Phine, sorry to hear you've been having health problems. I'm wishing you the best and hope you are around for many many more elections. Remember, it aint over till the fat lady sings and I aint singin much these days. get well Babe.
It doesn't matter. Willard 'Flipper' Romney will flip on what ever he decides. What a Nelly.
Flipper Romney was a succesful Governor in a 100% Democrat controlled state. Obama has failed at everything he had to earn on his own, without help from Affirmative action. Obviously if I were a failure I too would vote for Obama.
"As a candidate, to my understanding, he's still deciding what his position on immigration is,"
But, I'm pretty sure, Hispanic voters have made up their minds to not vote for Mitt Romney.
Amy---the man has been running for President since 2008. Of all the measures relating to immigration, the DREAM Act, offering a path to citizenship to people brought here as children through college education or military service seems to me to be the most benign and Romney can't even get behind that.
And his management skills are supposed to be great and he can't hire competent spokespeople or has to fire the ones he does hire.
In 2008 people said Senator Obama wasn't experienced enough to be President because he hadn't run anything. Well, he ran his campaign better than this.
Yeah, he just doesn't know how to run a country, except into the ground!!
It would appear that Mr. Romney hasn't shaken his Etch-A-Sketch yet, so he isn't sure what his position will be until he does.
Bringing in Rubio for the hispanic vote of the Rubio/Ryan budget is like bringing in Palin for the women's vote.
Republicans sure do think the people are that stupid. From the ideals we get from the right wing posers here, I think the republicans are correct at least about republicans.
VOTE FOR AMERICA...VOTE OBAMA/BIDEN 2012
I have to agree that Rubio would not have been my choice if I were running Romneys campaign.
But as Feisty pointed out in her first post above, these people running Romneys campaign are making a lot of mistakes.
And...Mr. Obamas people were relaxing sunday afternoon after Mr. Gregorys interview with Mr. Biden.
I keep trying to tell the right wing posters there is no cure for stupid and now
Romneys team pulls this. I can't wait for the next stupid move on Romneys part. At this rate President Obama does not have to do or say anything, Romney will be President Obama's best campaign ad. ROFTLMAO
OBAMA/BIDEN 2012
Rubio does not, by a long shot, represent the majority of the Hispanic/Latino population/vote in the U.S. HE COMES FROM A SMALL ISLAND IN THE CARIBBEAN and is far removed from the mainstream Mexico, Central and South American populace of which the current immigration "crisis" seems to be about! Why do we in the U.S. apparently just "sweep" our responsibility in the matter under the rug? Throw ALL employers of illegal aliens in jail with stiff fines! If you DON"T build it...they won't come! Then again, if the practice is CHEAP and PROFITABLE for employers then it's obviously acceptable and we should just look the other way, huh!
as the old Yogi Berra joke went (I'd never go to a party that would invite someone like me...), I think the quandary for the Mittster is that any VP choice that would actually be a good VP and bring quality to the party isn't going to want to be attached to him. I also read an OP-ed that made sense talking about trying to "balance " a ticket and the point they were making is that if he gets a bright, charismatic rising star, the VP will outshine Mitt and make him look even worse, somewhat like Palin did with McCain. Granted, she is dumb as a bag of rocks, but she was charismatic. If he gets someone as dull as dishwater, it makes his team look even more lackluster. So he's screwed either way. If he can't find or buy some personality and ability to relate to people, nothing short of an economic collapse will save him. It truly puts your party in a tough spot having to hope for a disaster for you to win.
I feel Romney is about to tell another lie! Wait for it..... Wait for it......
And the GOP picks this guy to run America while he decides which side of immigration he will stand on. This is what they call a true leader, of what zombies. How long does he need anyway, its not a new issue, its been around for a long time now. Oh right someone get him a coin so he can flip it to make up his mind. No way is he presidential material. Can you say Bye Bye Flip
I've always found that an Etch-a-Sketch works best when shaken side-to-side in addition to up-and-down.
Or you could use Romney's method of flip, shake, then flop.
Is Obama still "Evolving " on when a fetus is a person too?:
Washington Free Beacon:
The White House Visitors Office requires that an unborn child—still residing in utero—must be counted as a full human being when its parents register for a White House tour, according to documents obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
WCA did the President make that rule or did someone else. Nice one liner how about more facts like how long has the rule been in effect. Is this the best you can do now is pick on little details just to make a point of some kind. You must be wearing your big boy pants today.
Only when it serves a purpose, if he could get them to vote then they would be considered a full human. Nothing new, just like when he panders and demagogs. This President is a disgrace.
WCA -
That's funny.....the White House site itself says it only requires identification for "All guests 18 years of age or older". And all you have to do is show a standard photo ID:
http://www.whitehouse.gov/about/tours-and-events
Do you by any chance have a source for this story that comes from a legitimate news organization or congressional office? Because the "copy" of the e-mail shown in your link doesn't look even remotely like official White House correspondence and doesn't appear to have been sent to any "Congressional staffer" mentioned in the article - who, by the way, appears to be nameless.
But then, here's what the Washington Free Beacon has to say about themselves:
Come on, WCA......seriously????? Your posts used to be better than this.
Joanne, will the Director of the White House Visitors Office do for a source?:
White House Visitors Office director Ellie Schafer sent an email to a Capitol Hill staffer Tuesday morning explaining the process for registering an unborn fetus for a White House tour:
lmao...... I guess not! But I do love the head lines on that new media outlet.
WCA -
That supposed e-mail is the same as the one shown in your original "source" - they have a picture of it and everything. I'll let everyone else judge its authenticity:
http://freebeacon.com/no-birth-certificate-required/
Oh, and which congressional staffer was that again? If it's official policy, why didn't it go to everyone in Congress, and why aren't there any actual members of Congress sharing their outrage?
Film at 11:00 (not)......
Romney cannot win the Hispanic vote? In the 2010 race for Senator in Florida, Republicans (Rubio and Crist running as an Ind) won 80% of the Hispanic vote:
Rubio (R) - 55%
Crist (R/I) - 25%
Meeks (D) - 20%
Bill -
What about the rest of the country?
"With the exception of Florida, in states where exit polling data is available, Democratic candidates won the Latino vote, usually by wide margins. In California's senate race, Democrat Barbara Boxer won 66% of the Latino vote while Republican Carly Fiorina won 31%. In California's gubernatorial race, Democrat Jerry Brown won 63% of California's Latino vote while Republican Meg Whitman won 34%. In Nevada, Latinos supported Democrat Harry Reid over Republican Sharron Angle by a greater than two-to-one margin -- 69% vs. 27%. Latino voters in Arizona, Nevada and Texas similarly supported Democratic candidates over Republican candidates in Senate and gubernatorial races.
In Florida, Hispanic voters gave greater support to Republican candidates
than elsewhere. As noted above, in Florida's Senate race, nearly half (45%) of Hispanic voters supported Republican Rubio over independent Charlie Crist (33%) and Democrat Kendrick Meek (22%). In Florida's governor vote, 48% of Hispanic voters supported Democrat Alex Sink and half (50%) supported Republican Rick Scott, according to the state exit poll. The Hispanic vote in Florida has traditionally tilted more Republican than in other states, owing largely to the presence of the GOP-leaning Cuban-American community."

White Collar Auto...
Dude! I, flat out, WOULD NOT BUY AN AUTO FROM YOU!

I've always been amused at how much repugnicans care about babies right up until their mama gives birth. Then they're on their own. Good luck, little fella. You're gonna need it.
Well Kardy, I don't sell cars so it's all good.
Is Gov. Romney still deciding, or is he waiting for directions on what his position is?
Howdy Doody is still awaiting his strings to be pulled and the proper hand inserted into his mouth in order to activate communications and further instruct his "interpreters" on what must be "clarified" to the public at this juncture.
Romney has hired a team of "political intellectuals" to make up his mind for him. They are busy discussing and arguing over what Romney should think about this issue. Be patient! It takes time for them to make up his mind. What? Did you expect a multimillionaire to suddenly switch gears from money making, living the high life and rubbing shoulders with the other 1 percenters to focus on those silly human rights type things?
and tell me please....what has obama done about ILLEGAL immigration?......jack@!$%#!
obama is a liar, a distorter, and a divider....ONE AND DONE BARRY!
paddywacker, he attemped to pass the dreamact which is more than any twit on the right has done, so who lies, distorts and divides us, little minds like yours. Keep trying though its fun to watch.
the dream act is total bull@!$%#!
@tis...
Obama promised Immigration reform as part of his 2008 campaign. Here in June 2009, CBS News noted that he had still done nothing. At that point, he had the Democrat House and a filibuster-proof Democrat Senate. He could've passed whatever he wanted for immigration reform and the Republicans could've done nothing to stop it.
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-5097178-503544.html
". . . jack@!$%#!"? Really mcpaddywack? So deporting more illegal immigrants in 3 1/2 years than Bush did in 8 years is jack@!$%#? You really are a 'wack job'.
Diogenes22, please stop with the 'filibuster proof proof Senate' meme, it just doesn't fly in the face of reality. If it was filibuster proof, why did he have to deal with filibusters during that time?
@Matthew...
Wow.
He absolutely had a filibuster-proof majority. There were 58 Democrat Senators (plus the two Democrat/Independents for a total of 60) until the death of Ted Kennedy at the end of August 2009.
60 votes is "cloture" in the Senate. Enough to stop a filibuster. The Republicans couldn't stop ANYTHING the Democrats brought up. Period.
Wow, Diogenes22, you really are stupid. You entirely missed the point that simple numbers do not accurately reflect the reality of what went on. I never said that there were not 60 votes in the Democratic caucus. I also notice that you didn't even address the point about still having to deal with filibusters during that time. You also neglected to remember that Al Franken was not seated until July of 2009.
Nice try at deflection, but an epic fail, on your part.
From another post I put in another thread, just insert your name where David's is:
Talk about rewriting history!!!
LIE #1: "When the Senate was lead by the Democrats in from January of 2007 to January of 2009, President Bush dusted off his veto pen, and vetoed every single economy fixing bill the Democrats managed to pass."
Nope never happened:
http://uspolitics.about.com/od/electionissues/tp/Bush-Vetos.htm
LIE #2: "That is, every bill the Democrats were able to get past a filibuster by the Republican/TP Inc. party in the Senate."
The Tea Party came about as a result of the passage of the ACA. IT DIDN'T EXIST!
LIE #3: "...so even that 60 votes was not guaranteed."
I call BS on that one. How in the @$%#$ do you think that we got the Stimulus and the ACA crammed down our throats? (Oh, wait, even though the ACA DID PASS WITHOUT A FILIBUSTER, after Kennedy passed away, Harry Reed and Nancy Pelosi decided to use "reconciliation", something designed strictly for the budget, to get it passed.
------------ Stop saying Obama Deprted more illegals-------------------
He didn't. He just had them change their accounting methods so it LOOKS like they are deporting more
The Obama policy....all violent illegals must go......but, how do they know who if violent? Their police records from Mexico ? LOL!
no !!!......they wait till an illegal hurts an American and THEN they are considered violent. Over 25,000 Americans are killed by illegals every year
Mitt, don't back off on the illegals. There are millions of us supporting your attempts.
In addition to being stupid, reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, is it, Diogenes22. Your link proves my point that Bush, with the exception of one, only vetoed the Democratic bills that they managed to get through the filibustering Senate.
As for the Republican/TP Inc. party reference, that is just a matter of semantics, and not a lie (did I hit a nerve? you sound like a re-register of sfcret. is that you sargent fool?). The Koch brothers, who funded the 'grassroots' Tea parties, Karl Rove, Dick Armey, and all of the other TEA Party 'leaders' were quite active before the passage of the ACA. So I will stick by my assertion that the Republican/TP Inc. Party is a proper name for the organization that calls itself the Republican Party, and date it from when Frank Luntz, Karl Rove, and Grove Nordquist entered politics.
As for the assertion that 60 votes was not guaranteed, explain the filibusters that happened during that time period. You can't because you know I'm right, so you focus on only two votes. You have only continued to make yourself look like a fool.
Give it up Diogene22, you're too stupid to keep up with me on the facts. Your motivation is purely emotional, and driven by your hatred of President Obama. And on top of your being too stupid, these types of motivations make you more susceptible to making factual errors, as proven by your posts.
jw101, if you're going to make an assertion, be able to prove it. I do not believe you, you sound too much like a partisan hack to be believed without question.
Willard the Rat, will not eat the cheese, cause it is in a trap? Guess he isn't smart enough or fast enough.
He did not think "Self Deportation" was not a good idea?
Look, Mitt's position on immigration is obviously "evolving" . Got a problem with evolving positions libs?
Then he can sit there and spin. He wants the job. You got a problem understanding that?
obama is evolving.....maybe some day in the distant future he will evolve into a patriot or some sort of leader.....i ain't holding my breath!

Concerned citizen, are you a black vote like Herman Cain? If so I don't think the President is giving you much hope to vote for him.
lolololol

Not only am I just like the President but I have spanish Black and I'm woman.
And you are right as of today I'm not voting for Obama. And please, please,
Debate my post of gay marriage. Oops, I forgot you can't and that is why you turn to jokes, you little boy.

Romney has at least four positions on each issue. He would rather not designate only one. It would affect his ability to address different audiences. Besides, he has no basis for deciding.
Flip flopping, etch a sketching, or lying his ass off to find a position that will win a few votes.
Just another day in the life of a losing repug candidate.
The one and only thing he is decided on is what hair spray to use andhe had to ask ex Football Coach Jimmy Johnson what to do on that.Mitt has no ideas, his entire campaign is , "I'm not Obama" How'dthat work out for the last B-List GOP team...oh yeah they lost like Mitt will. However if the Gov want to do hostle take overs and but everyone out of work, he does know how to do that and make himself a boat load of cash.( and pay hardly any taxes on it)
hey libs...the rich already pay more than their fair share of taxes...instead of whining about that, why don't you libs do something to help the poor escape poverty???...if the poor became successful, thye would never vote for a democrat....what a bunch of miserable hypocrites you libs are....
since they are reaping all the fruit of the profits they get to pay in the same fashion. Are you rich mcpaddywack? If not how do you know? There are rich libbies mcpaddywack.
if you libs are so concerned about the poor, why are there more people in poverty in the united states today than ever before?..most of you loibs are envious of those who are more successful than you.....
The war on poverty is 50 years old, you would have thought it would have been won by now. I truly believe they dont want to win it. Because once people have money and are successful most start to feel different..........ABOUT THEIR MONEY!
NEITHER party or candidate knows what the hell they are for or against! they are counting the votes. NONE give a crap about the welfare of this country for the long term. Obama cannot decide about Gay Marriage, we all know he wants to say he is for it, but is afraid of the backlash vote, Mitt is counting the Latino vote, NO ONE cares about the border security, morality, all they care about is power and money.
True! ALL these candidates want is VOTES! Who is going to give them the most votes! All that matters, nothing else! It should have never gotten to this point! Doesn't matter if it's the Repubs or Dems!
Is he wondering about immigration or illegal aliens?
you gotta love how MSLSD omits the word "ILLEGAL" whenever they report about immigration....phonies!
Hater!
The GatewayBull, idiot.
what does HATER mean?...what an idiotic comment....i hate what obama is trying to do to our nation...obama is a liar, a distorter, and a divider..i don't hate him....
You can't hate the action with out hating the cause of the action. Idiot. So you hate what the President is doing then you hate the President. If you hate apples you hate the tree the apple came from.
Ridiculous
What part of "ILLEGAL" is it you fools don't understand???? What about the legal immigrants who have been waiting in line to become LEGAL citizens??? Throw the illegals out, and get rid of the anchor baby issue once and for all.
We are not HATERS! Don't be stupid! We just think it's wrong for any news source to not label illegals as illegals!! Say it like it is!! We don't "HATE" them as people, it's the act of coming over here illegally that isn't right!
He'll let all of us know how he feels, right after the election.
