I was a Hillary supporter in the previous primary, but I have to say I think things may be turning out better for her as Secretary of State. She's gained a public platform where she can subtly prove herself without having to bother with campaign style pandering. Yeah, Hillary 2016!

Obama up 8 points in Virginia: only in a poll that oversamples Democrats!
First Read has Virginia in many if its headlines this moring, so it can tout the WaPost poll...there was a previous poll that had Obama up 8 points, headlined by First Read and MSNBC ...then 2 polls had it a dead heat...which polls were ignored by MSNBC...sense a pattern here?
Anything to deflect from the horrendous economic record of Obama...
Had the labor force participation rate had stayed where it was in June 2009, the unemployment rate would be around 11%.
Many of those who've quit looking have instead signed up for disability benefits.
So far this year, nearly 1 million workers have applied to get on the disability program. According to the Social Security Administration, more than a third will eventually be enrolled in the program.
Almost 90,000 workers enrolled the program in April, pushing the total for new enrollees over 333,000 in the first four months of the year.
If you add in spouses and dependents, the number of beneficiaries added to the program so far this year climbs to 539,000.
As IBD reported recently, more than 5 million workers and their families have enrolled in the disability program since Obama took office.
Government dependency-the Obama way!
Willard showed just how naive he is when it comes to foreign policy. The Secretary of State is in China trying to negotiate with the Chinese regarding a delicate situation and Willard is in the U.S. flapping his lips. Unbelievable.
Once again he is slapping the president and his administration on the wrists without indicating what he would have done differently. I guess he would have to ask right-wing talk show hosts their permission before he does anything. Mittens doesn't have the guts to stand up and defend a staff member so its obvious he doesn't have the goolies to stand up to China.

Feisty - it's going to turn out that President Obama put Hillary in a GREAT position to run in 2016. She's going to have outstanding foreign policy experience that no Republican can match. She's in the best position to make the move to President!

At least with Ginrich you knew what you were getting. He was arrogant and pompous, but everyone knew that. Looks like Mitt is willing to throw his own people under the bus just to satisfy the lunatic fringe. This is a man that believes the end justifies the means no matter who gets hurt, and has no experience dealing with people on a level playing field. All the while he smiles and pretends he's one of "us". That is someone I would never turn my back on, or trust. And although i don't have any love for politicians, he's even worse.

It's simple, Mitt "Corporations are People" Romney has a plan for more supply side, trickle down, voodoo economics. Cut the tax rates on the wealthy even further, even though they now have the lowest effective federal income tax rates in decades. Then cut corporate taxes even though corporate tax rates recently drop to an effective rate of around twelve percent.
The problem with trickle-down economics, is, it is not the wealthy and the corporations which create jobs, it is the consumer demand and the consumer spending of the nation's middle class which creates jobs. That is why trickle down, voodoo economics has not worked since it came into vogue thirty years ago. It fact, voodoo economics has been one of the major factors which has helped concentrate the nation's wealth into fewer and fewer hands at the very top of society so that we now have 43% of the nation's privately held financial wealth owned by the top one percent. Voodoo economics has also been a major factor in increasing the deficits and debts as it decreases federal revenue. Trickle-down, voodoo economics has also been a factor in reducing the size of the middle class, because the trickle-down part of the equation doesn't work. Instead the money stays concentrated at the top where it is hoarded and used for speculation. This money for the most part does not participate in the real economy of the nation, but instead sits dormant with the already wealthy who already have plenty to spend.
Voodoo economics does help transform the U.S. into a plutocracy and Romney has every intention, if he gets in office, of ordering up more voodoo economics for the American people.
