Mark Murray and Domenico Montanaro unveil the latest NBC News Battleground Map and discuss President Obama's upcoming campaign stops in two toss-up states.
As much as we would love to have you here in Pennsylvania, Feisty, I don't think there is any doubt that Pennsylvania will be solidly blue for President Obama and for the re-election of Senator Casey. The Republican war against women won't play well with the moderates and independents and our economy is recovering.
Take inflation out of the mix by comparing the Debt as a percentage of our Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
In 1945 our National Debt was at 125% of GDP. Today it is at 100% of GDP.
Between 1945 and 1980 we paid the debt down to 37% of GDP but by 1992 it had nearly doubled to 69% of GDP – thanks President Reagan. By the time Bush 43 took office it was down to 57% of GDP and when Obama took over it was back up to 77% of GDP, the highest level since the end of the Truman administration.
So if you want to thank anyone thank Reagan for using the national credit card to pay for programs as he cut taxes.
Colorada used to be a red state, but in 2004 old George Soros and his money went into Colorado with Ron Stein created an organization called the Colorado Democracy Alliance with one purpose: taking over Colorado politics from the precinct all the way up to the State House and it worked. By 2008 (and the Dem. Convention) Colorado had gone from Red to Blue.
I see it is now a swing state so it appears to be reverting back to Red, but goes to show you how insidiuous Soros and his puppet can be!
"We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America." Barack Obama (October 30, 2008) ........... (with thx for quote to Eva P)
Scary stuff, eh? We are closer now to becoming a Greece or Argentina than ever before! All thanks to the 'left wing conspiracy' started by George Soros and implimented by BO!
I'd like to know what you guys are smoking. Texas, Mississippi, Lousiana, Georgia, South Carolina- Leaning republican!!!
You must be reading the same polls that told you democrats were favored to win the House by two points in 2010. News flash, guys- your weighting is so bad that your polls are, well, pretty meaningless.
Maybe talk to Nate Silver, who can enlighten you about how to fix it.
If Romney picks his running-mate from Florida, then Obama must win Ohio and vice-versa.
I'm surprised to see Colorado as a toss-up. The way this map looks on September 1st will tell us a great deal about how close (or not) the election will be.
If your map is correct, looks like I might be heading to IA or IN instead of WI this time around...
Ron & Jody - leave a light on for me will ya?

Romney 2012, more than ever
Rub of the Green -- Soros? Go back to NewsMax or The Blaze with your conspiracy theories, and take your eight voters with you. (Really?!)
And while you're at it, pick up a copy of:
Robert Draper's Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside the U.S. House of Representatives
Read about the real conspiracy that's been going on in the GOP/TP to win elections, even if it means selling out the American people!
Iowa just changed from tossup to "leans Romney", after the voters discovered the extremist Obama attack poodle Redhead may show up there.
Lock your doors and cover your ears, Iowans.
You Sir, are a certifiable nut (watch out for the squirrels)! :-)

Virginia will go for President Obama! I am go to fight up here in Loudoun County to make sure it happens!!
Gaffe over/under for a Joe Biden speech..
Mangled words: 15
Calling man in wheelchair to 'stand up": 1
Use of condescending terms like "buddy' or "pal': 5
References to the man Biden said was the brains behind the Obama economic policy, Jon Corzine: 0 (formerly was 10)
Much better than your man, Bob O'. Words are far less intrusive...

The Obama campaign has a strategy that gets the delegates
needed without winning either OH or FL but it makes VA a must win.
I think Obama will win CO, VA, OH, PA, NH.
Romney gets FL(does not matter who the VP is), NV, and NC.
Obama wins!!!!!
"The Obama campaign has a strategy that gets the delegates
needed without winning either OH or FL but it makes VA a must win."
That is a quite dumb strategy, because there is no freaking way Obama will win Virginia.
Does the map show the state of MSNBC as "solidly in Obama's camp"?
We all know that MSNBC is a paid shill of the Obama administration, and Chuckie Todd is their talking head.
Or would that be Feisty? Or Bigoted Bev from Chicago?
