It appears that the pro-Obama Super PAC Priorities USA Action is teaming up with the environmental group League of Conservation Voters for a nearly $1 million ad buy through mid-May.
Smart Media, an ad-buying firm, reported that the two entities have purchased $980,000 on broadcast and cable TV in Colorado and Nevada from April 24 until May 14.
Asked for comment by First Read about the ad and possible partnership, Priorities USA’s Bill Burton replied, “We'll have some info for you in the next couple days.”
Priorities USA Action has so far struggled in raising money for the presidential contest. In March, it reported raising $2.5 million for the month -- up from $2 million in February -- and it has $5 million in the bank.

I've always found it strangely ironic that conservation, championed early and hard by Republican Teddy Roosevelt, is somehow at odds with Conservatism.

Teddy Rosevelt would not have stood for groups like PITA. In response to PITA saying that hunters were "murderers" he would have said "Why dont you come down to the Whitehouse and say that to my face" If they were smart,they wouldnt take him up on his offer.

ive asked every republican i personally know and every democrat i personally know , two questions. "Do you think abortion is SAD?" and "do you think abortion is ugly?" and everyone on both sides said yes to each question, hmmmmm so where is the "great" divide??? the only difference is progressives are not willing to punish people for abortion , we leave that to god. conservatives on the other hand want to be the punishers. I think we all know if the law is changed they will sell fly/drive abortion vacations to mexico and canada. they just want us divided "there is no spoon"
George, I'm way to the right of Bill Buckley fiscally, and totally against nearly everything Obama stands for (that may be an oxymoron.. he doesn't stand for anything). But I'm actually pro-choice. I think abortion is horrible, and couldn't imagine being part of the decision to have one unless the mother's life was in imminent danger. And, the only thing I can think of worse than abortion is my taxes having to pay welfare for eighteen years.

As clues as to True Patriot's intended meaning you could start by looking up the meaning of the words "conspiracy", "stupid", and "myth".
Speaking of Super Pacs, Democrat Jim McGovern introduced, and Nancy Pelosi supports, the People's Rights Amendment. The Peoples Rights Amendment is an attempt to amend our Constitution to reverse the Supreme Court's decision on Citizens United.
I wonder if Speaker Pelosi realizes such a reversal would disallow all the union money that flows pretty directly to the Democrats. Since all major legislation written in the last three years grants waivers to the unions, I wonder if she intends to include waivers to the unions in this new proposal.
Thankfully, I'm sure the proposed Amendment will never see the light of day. It's another scary example though of how the intolerance of free speech is growing.
Corporations may not be people, but people make up corporations. Corporations (and unions alike) should have the right to articulate grievances against administrative and legislative policy that affect them.
The effort to shut down any form of free speech is just frightening.
I'm withholding judgment until more mainstream, credible sources provide information on The People's Rights Amendment. Right now most of the buzz is coming from far-Right sources like The Blaze or Free Republic, and these sites are not credible at all (and that's being kind).
