2012: Romney blames Obama for GSA Vegas trip

Now Romney’s blaming President Obama’s bad example for the GSA scandal: “I think the example starts at the top,” he told National Review Online (via the New York Post). “People have to see that the president is not taking elaborate vacations, and spending in a way that is inconsistent with the state of the overall economy and the state of the American family. (What about that La Jolla home, with the car elevator? And the upcoming Romney trip to the Olympics in London?)

Romney’s also trying to appeal to Hispanics by blaming Obama for the high unemployment rate with the growing minority group. The pitch: "Under President Obama, more Hispanics have struggled to find work than at any other time on record.”

Obama leads in Ohio and Florida, according to two recent FOX News polls. In Ohio, the president’s up 45-39%, a 12-point turnaround since February, when Romney led 44-38%. Obama’s approval rating has also improved, though he’s still a net-negative (46/47%, up from 40-49%). In Florida, Obama leads 45-43%, but his approval rating is upside down at 43/48%.

Obama vs. Romney cash on hand: $104 million to $10.1 million.

Romney’s gotten more favorable news coverage than Obama.

You mean "America is recovering from the Bush era" under your management. Thank you Mr. President. Obama 2012.

And still Bush managed more vacation time to this point (and we were at war!). You know who took the fewest vacations? That paragon of virtue - Bill Clinton.

Got it Mitt! Everything bad is Obama's fault. Everything good is just happening and Obama doesn't deserve any credit. Got it. So predictable. Most would not call this a winning strategy on your part but I'm sure you know better right?

Willard shows his disdain for anyone who would dare show him as he really is.

He only wants to use the media for his propaganda 'ad buying' against others.

And Romney gets to make this spiel on every TV and radio show this weekend, starting with Hannity on Friday. His appearances are pre-scripted and focus group tested. No one is asking him a question that he hasn't already approved (or been given in advance). How else to explain the dog meat story being asked by every interviewer. How else to explain that Obama has played far fewer rounds of golf than either Bush. Romney's count was 91 rounds (who the hell keeps track of that?), which amounts to a little of 2 rounds per month in office. Does the round with Boehner count? I guess Romney has no plans to carry Hawaii, since Obama's vacations there are exotic, even if it's a home state. He goes to his mom's home state of Kansas and the governor and every member of Congress snubs him. Years ago, when the first lady travelled overseas, it was called a good will trip. To the GOP that's now exotic. It's not my fault that until W. Bush became president he had never visited Europe. But of course Romney was a missionary there. So if you are of modest means as president, you get to go to Disney World, but if you are filthy rich, you can spend your money as you please without reproach.

Romney is only negative. He stands for nothing other than for attacking his opponents. His political career was built on spending millions attacking his opponents. He stands for nothing. He flip flops on everything. What a joke. Is this that the GOP can do this year?

"Everything is President Obama's fault - past, present, and future." The new 2012 GOP bumper sticker.

Funny, Romney doesn't make the pitch to Hispanics that Obama has deported more illegal immigrants in three years than Bush did in eight, but then, more low information, anti-immgration voters might overhear him, and say "hmmm, maybe I better vote Obama."
