Work on Clean Energy, Healthcare, Education, Social Security and Medicare, Transportation, Banking and Housing. Strengthen our Homeland Security. Oh boy, how we forget so soon! But the most explosive allegation in the news story comes from former Democratic congressman Patrick Kennedy, son of the late Ted Kenney, who calls what the Obama White House is doing "quid pro quo."

Patrick J. Kennedy, the former representative from Rhode Island, who donated $35,800 to an Obama re-election fund last fall while seeking administration support for a nonprofit venture, said contributions were simply a part of “how this business works.”

You are being disingenous in estimate of national debt. The national debit is the amount by which deficit increases the amount owed by the government each year. Interest is paid by the federal government and is included in the federal budget. The total federal budget of $3.6 trillion includes that interest, you then subtract total federal revenues of $2.4 trillion and get this years deficit of $1.2 trillion. You are making the assumption that the interest is part of the $1.2 billion and not the $2.4 billion.

What you did with blaming Bush for leaving a $12 billion deficit was bad math. You took his last budget then added the interest in a second time. You were double counting the interest. The result of correctly counting the interest is that Obama's national debt count starts at $10 trillion and grows to $16 trillion.

Let me review- we have unsustainable debt, trillion dollar deficits, high unemployment, out of control spending, highest corporate tax rate in the world, unemployment benefits that last for almost 2 years, underwater housing market, government that is so big and burdensome that it can not monitor itself and we get wasteful spending like the GSA conference, high fuel costs, high costs period, etc.

President Obamas solution for all of this? Another trillion dollar deficit generating budget proposal and a "millionaire" tax (which raises enough money to fund the government for one week). Real solution? No! I have had enough of the divide and conquer politics from the democrats. President Obama ran as a "uniter" and he has spend the last 2+ years dividing the country on everything from race to religion to gender to age to income to you name it and he's been dividing it for reelection. If you want to raise taxes then I believe they should be done purposefully and NOT before you cut spending. Don't raise taxes for subjective reasons like "fairness". We don't have a tax problem we have a spending problem and a "balanced" approach does NOT mean you tax more so you can spend more. I can't go to an employer and say "hey, I am spending more than you are paying me so you need to raise my salary" and that is what the government is doing when it raises taxes. I am tired of the excuses and blame game in Washington. President Obama was hired to solve problems and he and the democrats controlled everything for the first two years and all they did was create more debt, add another entitlement program, get our credit rating downgraded, and spend money like drunken sailors. President Obama and the democrats want to say they inherited a recession- fine- but they were hired to fix it not make it worse or turn the recession into the new version of normal. It's good that NBC is holding the opposition's feet to the fire. But Obama has been in office for almost four years and you have never examined him. Why don't we ever hear from NBC about the $hundreds of millions Obama's campaign has collected from foreign and domestic donors? NBC never looked into where he was born. You never investigated his forged birth certificate. You never released his college transcripts or interviewed one friend or ex-girl friend.
