Subscribe to RSSIowa's senior senator and prolific Tweeter, Republican Chuck Grassley, sent a harshly worded message Saturday that intentionally slighted the president.
Aides say Grassley personally Tweeted: "Constituents askd why i am not outraged at PresO attack on supreme court independence. Bcause Am ppl r not stupid as this x prof of con law."
While Grassley's Twitter account had been previously hacked, this time the use of the word "stupid" was his own. Aides say, "The Tweet is Sen. Grassley's. He is saying that it doesn't speak well of any constitutional law professor to not understand Marbury v Madison. The people understand the independence of the judiciary. So he thinks most Americans are smarter on the Constitution."
In a second Tweet, Grassley wrote,"Possibility of peace and freedom for Syria gets more remote as PresO plays along w the farce of Kofi Annans negotiatios (sic) there Barack wakeup."

An affirmative action student, teacher, and now president sure illustrates the low standards we have and how the enabling liberal media covers up for Obamas numerous mistakes. Those are "taxes" and Congress has the authority through the Constitution to tax people. If he would have called it a tax it would not have been an issue.

Homer, I was responding to the fact that SS, Medicare, Medicaid are taxes and therefore Congress is allowed by the Constitution to collect them. If the individual does not have insurance he (or she) will be charged a penalty collected by who? the IRS.
The last time the President publicly criticized a Supreme Court's decision was on the Citizen's United case. Now, even the Grassley lovers and BFFs can't quarrel with the sheer folly and stupidity of that decision and its adverse impact on American politics. For those of you Republican "Constitutional scholars" in the Grassley camp, do tell us where that document prohibits a president from ever critiquing the Supreme Court. We're waiting. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. By the way, you won't find the answer in the 2d Amendment, the only part of that document most of you seem familiar with!
By the way, where was Grassley's criticism against Gingrich when that Republican fat f**k stupidly suggested that judges be hauled before Congress when they issue contrarian rulings and decisions? This is so ridiculous - all President Obama is doing is agreeing with the Republicans who for 20 years (or longer) have been decrying decisions that they disagree with as "activism" from "liberal activist judges" who "legislate from the bench." Anyone recall hearing those favorite lines over the last 20 years - I do! He was actually being just a little bit sarcastic - tongue in cheek - although he didn't say it with a smile and a wink, it was there. Hey, two months ago, Nuke Grinchgrinch was swearing he woule ARREST judges - send the sheriff out to get 'em - if they made the wrong decisions or legislated from the bench!!! Don't recall his Republican colleagues shouting him down with cries of "Marbury vs. Madison!!!!"

They made it there job to make him a "one Term President", rather than do the job they were elected to do and that was to do what was in the best interest of all Americans not just those in the 1% and their corporate buddies who benefit from them always saying NO.
The other dividing factor is race - we thought as a country we had grown beyond racisim, but January 2009 we learned that was not true. People still believe the White House is reserved for White Males and that is proven by the posts.
