Congress: Ryan budget, an election blueprint

“The House easily passed Budget Chairman Paul Ryan’s (R-Wis.) $1.028 trillion fiscal blueprint today, ending months of GOP infighting over spending levels but scuttling hopes of passing the appropriations bills in regular order this year,” Roll Call writes.

House GOP leaders on Thursday brandished their newly passed 2013 budget as the foundation of the Republican fall election campaign,” The Hill writes. “The Democratic response is ‘bring it on.’ They said they are eager to run against what they are dubbing the Ryan-Romney plan, which they say destroys Medicare, hobbles the economy and provides a tax break windfall to the rich.”

Republicans have written a permission slip for rape. Now they are agreed to run on it. May their suicide be swift and painless. Citizens vote, not money, and they have forgotten that.

May their suicide be swift and painless.

you are too nice!

Citizens vote, not money, and they have forgotten that.

It's the Citizens United who "vote." With the enormous cash pouring in - and one knows from where - people like Karl Rove and his Crossroads are stopping at nothing.

It is scary to think that 1 person can make someone like Gingrich a viable (even if for 5 minutes) candidate. I'm glad to see that Gingrich's sugar daddy finally recognized his failed experiment and cut his losses.

So where is the Senate's budget resolution? Oh, that's right they don't have one. All democrats can do is criticize Ryan's budget. If they don't like it, they can write their own, as required by law, and then have a joint Budget Committee meeting to come up with a Budget that might pass both houses of congress.

Hey, I have an idea for how to get rid of the Ryan budget bullsh!t. All the Dems need to do is call Ryan the "Godfather" for the blueprint of the budget that President Obama supports. Then the Teapublicans will vote against it with unity!

Joseph E. Parent -- Good catch, because Romney's plan is even worse than Ryan's. No, Chris@SLC is correct. Romney has endorsed Ryan's plan multiple times -- It's on tape and video. It's just not reported by FOX Noise.

TruePatriot: that won't prevent Romney from saying he hasn't FULLY endorsed the Ryan plan.

Face it folks! The TEA-GOP-Republican party's only goal is to kill any accomplishments for and by the president. Call what you will, this is their primary goal. Make no mistake, the Terrifying Errant Activist(TEA) party are alive and thriving in local and state politics. The Tea Party has strongholds like Virginia, Colorado, Louisiana, South Carolina, Florida and Texas and want to lull the population to sleep while they maneuver their people into power. They are very active locally and control monies, local infrastructure and power. By alienating women, they stand less of a chance to get close. The Hispanic/Latino sect realize these candidates are dead-set against their taking part in America. The Black community has seen the hatred in Florida and many will vote for president Obama because they can. The sad part is the roadblocks the TEA party controlled states have already set into motion may have some effect, if allowed. Privatizing Medicare and Medicaid and vouchering both systems is their primary goal if allowed.
