GT - you are relying on flawed polls. In the past month a number of pollsters started using registered voter mix applied to likely voters. What this means is that the results of the poll will show more favorably toward democrat candidate and positions. Seems the Republicans are more likely to turn out in larger percentages of the registered voters than democrats.

PPP - a democrat poll showes Mandel and Sen Brown tied. Today Quinippiac released a poll showing Brown defeating Mandel by 10 points. What was really curious is that both polls used about the same ratio of voters for turnout. Makes me wonder if some pollers are using only solid democrat areas in their poll to eliminate seeing how many defections are taking place among the broader spectrum of democrat voters.
