VIDEO: The Week That Was: An Etch-A-Sketch week, Battle in the Bayou

The week started with a Romney win in Illinois, but his celebration was derailed by a gaffe by a staffer. Tonight, it's the Battle in the Bayou with Santorum the favorite in the Louisiana primary.

An etch a sketch v. racist pigot. Sorry! I mean bigot. I guess that's all Louisiana deserves. What a choice!

It must be heart warming to be a tea people Koch republican, wake up every morning and have to defend these clowns.

How about a little focus on the week that's coming?

The House this week will host two former employees of mf global- the company you can't seem to remember. MF Global was headed by former Senator and Governor Jon Corzine, who simply cannot remember what could possibly have happened to $1.6 billion in client funds. They just -Poof!- disappeared.

Well, according to the Star Ledger, this week we will find out what happened to those funds-

They were taken from customer accounts on the orders of none other than Jon Corzine.

Now, this is no shock to anyone with a functioning brain, but now there will be testimony that, first, proves that he broke the law, and, second, lied about it- under oath.

Here in New Jersey, we call that perjury.

So, think there will be an indictment? I doubt it. Obama will do everything he can to protect his buddy and big dollar bundler. Good for him.

Romney, however, will have a field day with it. See, the people hurt by Corzine- farmers, primarily- are even more sympathetic than the people hurt by Madoff- who were wealthy to begin with. So, I'm seeing a pretty big campaign issue.

Which Obama loses.

Romney understands Corzine as he has done the very same thing. Except instead of stealing from the rich, like Corzine was stupid enough to do, Romney stole middle class worker's pensions. It is very legal to steal from the middle class. Not legal to steal from the rich.

I sure hope so!

Nothing like a vulture capitalist who makes $57K per day, who won't release more then one year of tax returns reminding American's of his 'humble' beginnings! lol

So, I'm seeing a pretty big campaign issue

Give your track record on predictions, it might be best to stick to what ever you 'day' job is today!

PS: Are you really naive enough to believe going after every political bundler is a winning strategy?

Never mind... I already know the answer

Corzine, BFD. We have an election for POTUS and leader of the free world looming in the near future. Let's talk about presidential candidates, their platforms and policies. So much is riding on this.

Dont_carry_it_all -- Rove is losing his "Blossom" and only makes Turds now. Some of the things he's been saying lately is pure crap.

Ricky, you are getting old. Your time is up. Your desperate appeal to religious, ethnic, gender and racial bigotry are now now longer entertaining, they are simply disgusting. This goes for your buddy Newter also.

How about one more gift to to American people. Go home (if you know where that is)

The etch a sketch comment was just a honest comment. All successful candidates change their campaign between the primary when they play mainly to their party and the general election when they have to draw in people who are independents or members of the other party.

The Jacksonville Mayor's race is an example of what happens when the candidate does not reset. We had two moderate Republicians who split the moderate vote. A Tea Party candidate got the nomination and a conservative Democrat cam in second.

The Tea Party candidate came out against downtown redevelopment and angered a lot of people who are very active in the Repupublician Party. He also did not have a vision for our city. The Democrat won. Luckily unlike the White House occupant our mayor is fiscally conservative and has cut the city budget where needed.

The main point is that we cannot have a candidate who only represents 25% to 35% of the voters win the election. The candidate has to move to the center to be electable.

Hey Republican corporates, just look at the mess you're running for office of the United States of America. No wonder the majority of other countries are laughing in our face! Stop the HYPOCRISY and give back to the 99% American People, the SAME people that made you successful in the FIRST place! Stop your greed! Too many billionaires/millionaires and NO MONEY LEFT for the 99% American People!

Enough is enough! It's time for change, and that time is NOW! Not later, but right NOW! You're running the government so you don't have any excuse NOT to help the 99% American People! We can't even SELECT who we want to run for office! It's time for CHANGE!!!
