2012: Short of getting hit by a bus…

Charlie Cook on the state of the GOP race: “Simply put, no plausible arithmetic gets Santorum or Gingrich to 1,144 delegates that doesn’t involve Romney getting hit by a bus.”

ROMNEY: National Journal: “No Exit: The Supreme Court challenge to ‘Obamacare’ puts a spotlight on Mitt Romney and the Massachusetts health plan his party despises. Awkward.”

The Hill: Specter says he may vote for Romney

Sen. Jim DeMint seemed to re-embrace him yesterday.

This whole GOP primary is a train wreck - maybe they'll all get hit by a bus (we can always hope).

Ursula-279622 -- The "whole" Teapublican Party is a train wreck. What do they expect when their ideology is from the Dark Ages?

Charlie Cookon the state of the GOP race: “Simply put, no plausible arithmetic gets Santorum or Gingrich to 1,144 delegates that doesn’t involve Romney getting hit by a bus.”

Who cares? What folks want to know is can Romney get to 1,144 delegates? It looks like the only way to ensure that is to make the other candidates drop out and then win by default -- Win by default, wow, that's impressive.

That bus will hit Romney after he slithers into the GOP nomination. That bus is named Barack Obama and the Democratic National Committee. He's toast!

Again: The GOP does not have a viable, electable candidate running for President. Period.

How much has 'etch a sketch' stung Romney, and thus the GOP establishment?

Note the difference in urgency of the Santorum-has-no-chance announcements from before and after the sketchy thing.

Santorum does seem to be getting more strident in his rhetoric, doesn't he?

The etch a sketch is a good metaphor for Romney

There is a direct causal link between desperation and stridency . . .

Every campaign has a tag line associated with it, and this is his "Where's the Beef?!" tag.
