UAW Pleeeeeeeease

It won't really be Super until we elect a better President in 2012!

You'll have to find a better candidate then the 2-Faced-Romney, Ricky "Separation of Church and State makes me want to puke" Santorum, and I don't pay-child-support Blingrich.

we will elect a new president in November, he will be someone with a background of accomplishment and that will necessarily eliminate Obama

I think you are right OFG, I've heard from alot of first time 2008 voters who are taking a far more educated approach to the election in 2012. Romney's business expereince would be a great asset to have as President.

I am still anybody but Romney and Obama. Too many people do not like Newt but he is by far the smartest guy in the game. Leaves us with Santorium who is a good and decent man but will get crucified over his religion.

Might be a good choice, he has yet to flip flop on one thing

    #1.4 - Fri Mar 9, 2012 6:45 PM EST

I think you GOP types might have had a good shot, but you kinda blew it, just like the dems did in 2004 when they nominated John Kerry. Despite the weaknesses the President has (and in my view he has many), he is still head and shoulders above the present GOP field.

Wasn't what I would call "super" for any of acts that are participating in the GOP's Not Got Talent competition. What a fiasco. And now we have Palin praying for "an act of God" so she can end up queen at a brokered convention.

Meanwhile, the GOP itself is waging a war on women and trying desperately to start a war in Syria and Iran.

We learned that conservatives HATE women, especially EDUCATED women!

We also learned that the current leadership in the GNOP is scared @!$%#less of the Grand Poobah!

Why do women have money for fancy clothes, nails, hair and shoes but can not come up with 50 cents a day for birth control pills?

The issue is jobs, gas prices and inflation and all three will sink Obama!

You won battles? Against whom? As far as I can see, you fought America- and America is losing.

Health insurance was once used for illnesses and injuries- it the paid the hospital and doctors to set broken legs, or for surgery, or treatment of serious, acute illnesses- or chronic illnesses.

It cost a lot less than it does today.

Now? People complain that antacids are OTC- they have to buy them themselves. Any day now, I expect to hear someone demand that tissues be covered- because the cost of using them is exorbitant for allergy sufferers- to say nothing of the cost to those with colds!

There seems to be a complete disconnect between the cost of insurance premiums, and the number of things covered that people once paid for themselves.

Liberals just do not understand that there is no such thing as free- and they really don't understand the law of unintended consequences.

no joe-----I was responding to chilled and the support of men. The battles I was referring to were battles for women's rights--contraceptive rights, employment rights, civil rights. And I have battled some of those issues in my life. You are free to turn that comment into a rant against health care or whatever else you choose to rant about but understand that that is not the context it was made in.

It was a 'Super,' and very Cognitively Disabled time at the GOP/RNC Clown Show. The clowns were poltically dancing, and the GOP/RNC Elephants were economically going around in circles. The GOP/TeaBegger "Super Spew" Meter was in full usage by "Romulian Romney," "Sanitarium Santorum." and "Nutty Newt." The "Romulian" still does not know who he is, and proved that he is truely a coward. "Sanitarium Santorum" is a theological coward, and he has no fair economic plans. "Nutty Newt" is still thinking about building his moonbase, because he needs a place to park his Death Star. None of the GOP/RNC "Conservative Cowards" showed no guts to call out "Luanatic Limbaugh." Yet these GOP "Cowardly Clowns" want to bomb Iran?? Yes America! The GOP/RNC "Carnival Of Clowns' continues on to the economic, political, social, and cultural cliff waiting for them in November 2012.

If you are reading this its cause you get sucked into caring about %90 + of crap that matters not in this world. “Swammy” says Obama as another 4 years and the Dog (Gingrich) and Pony (Santorum and Romney) show is just pointless entertainment.

Unfortunately, one year from yesterday Purim which falls on February 24, 2013 next year, the Jews are going to nuke Iran. The poop storm (yes I said poop) that will fall upon America will tare western civilization apart. Once the attacks have happened in the big cities the US will be taken under the UN with Obama as Secretary-General in Chief.

Obama, who is already showing signs of animosity towards the saints of the most High will blame them for “beating the war drums” and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time the last 3 and ½ years of his Presidency.

The chaos and turmoil about to fall upon this world is like nothing the world have ever seen with no “rapture” (cause THAT is a lie of the false Prophet, the Corporate Christian Church) to save all you that are deceived.

Israel is Anti-Christ the Church is the False Prophet and Obama is the Little Horn. (Most likely)

You want to know what kind of "guy" our esteemed President Barack Obama is?

Well allow me to tell you a true and revealing story about the gracious, kind, and complimentary man known as the leader of the free world.

Journey back to the 2008 democrat nomination when Barack and Hillary were going Mano a Mano.  Hillary was traveling to a war ravaged middle east country.  Sinbad (yes that Sinbad) was on the plane as well.  Upon landing, the flight party was greeted by local dignitaries.  The entire greeting was recorded.   Weeks later Hillary over dramatized the landing by insinuating that the flight party deplaned under gunfire.

This event and Hillary's (mis)representation played prominently in the campaign.  One could argue that it damaged Hillary more than a bit.

I'm confident many of you recall this event being such astute political observers and commentators.

So let's fast forward to a very gleaning and frankly sadly disappointing radio interview in Boston just today.

Sinbad was on the phone with the local host and told of his recent "running into"with our so classy, statesman like President Barack Obama.

As Sinbad put it....."he leaned into me, put his arm around and whispered in my ear...dodge any bullets lately".

As with most listeners, my immediate thought was DOUCHE BAG!

Can someone pass this TRUE story on to Hillary.

I'm sure she will agree with me and all the listeners in Beantown....

      Obama is a DOUCHE BAG

Dennis, why do you disregard everything you read that does not fit your narrative?

This was a routine Inspector General report- not a "federal investigation".

Moreover, you missed the part that said that NO LAWS WERE BROKEN. As in, there was nothing illegal done. As in, there are no consequences- because it was all legal and above board.

It's an I herent problem with shipping taxpayer borrowed dollars out with no strings- and, if there are too many strings, things cost twice as much.

We should never have spent the money in the first place- then things like this would not happen in the second place.

          #11.23 - Sat Mar 10, 2012 10:30 AM EST

An Inspector General’s report which reported on the federal investigation.

          No Joe,

How about giving us your thoughts about how your Governor treated the Navy Seal veteran at a town hall last Thursday. Gov. Christie had him escorted out while telling him “I can go back and forth with you as much as you want.” Then, after the vet was gone, told the audience “Damn, man, I’m Governor, could you just shut up for a second?"

          • 4 votes
          #11.25 - Sat Mar 10, 2012 11:13 AM EST

          Interesting you ask. . .

I read a report of that in my state's largest newspaper- The Star Ledger. The Ledger, which slants far left, used the term "supposed" Navy Seal, "self professed" Navy Seal- and other language indicating their doubt as to his claims.

The man, who may or may not be what he claims, is upset that Rutgers Camden and Rowan University are to be merged. He questioned the value of the merge- and seemed, primarily, concerned that the name "Rutgers" would be replaced with the less-known "Rowan".

Well and good- but then he continually shouted over the governor's attempt to respond. Like, more than five times.

Obviously, we was not looking for an answer- he was looking for an argument.

Might be me- but I'm with the Ledger in having my doubts as to his CV. See, military personnel are trained in proper protocol- and shouting over people in a public forum is not proper protocol.

Will the Ledger investigate his claim to be a Seal? I doubt it. He's not, after all, a plumber questioning Obama- and making him look bad because of what came out of Obama's mouth.

However, since you seem to be interested in my state, what is your opinion about a democratic politician who uses the excuse of registering people to vote as a means to gain Social Security numbers and other identifying data- then uses that information to defraud the government of over two million dollars?

          http://www.newjerseynewsroom.com/state/31-people-with-essex-county-ties-indicted-for-scheme-to-steal-2m-in-unemployment-benefits

If I were you, I'd be worried about who was conducting voter registration drives.

The media can't deep six all such scandals.

            #11.26 - Sat Mar 10, 2012 11:24 AM EST

So you'll understand what I mean about the slant of our newspaper

            http://www.phillyburbs.com/news/local/burlington_county_times_news/christie-shows-off-jersey-attitude-during-florence-town-hall/article_19428e61-2640-592f-9c39-77868a8c5052.html

Now, what are the odds that the intrepid journalists on the Star Ledger had NO IDEA that this was a former Democratic Assembly seat seeker? Hmmm? He failed in that endeavor, by the way- as well as at his attempt to get a city council seat.

And, Christie's rgiht, by the way- if he acts like that in a courtroom, he will get his tail thrown in jail- for contempt.

And, no, I still don't know if he really is a former Seal- only that he says he is.

              #11.27 - Sat Mar 10, 2012 11:38 AM EST

              No Joe,

I remember fraud cases just like this as far back as I can remember. It is all part of the waste, fraud and abuse that our Government (Local, State and Federal) have been working to reduce and eliminate for decades. It’s not just a Federal problem.

Why does our Congress allow the publication of SSN’s after people die? Another policy that extends across many Administrations

Mittens sang about Davey Crockett and such, maybe he should sing the lyrics about 'grits' by Little Milton (I think)....would've been a hit, love and all such:

"If I don't love you, baby

              Grits ain't grocery

              Eggs ain't poultry

And Mona Lisa was a man"

              Mittens, do a blues number!

Just want to ask the Republicans something. Why can't you pick a candidate to run against Obama? And why doesn't any of the other GOP field of individuals come to you aide and join the race? WHY, maybe no one is capable or feels like they can beat Obama. Or are they all afraid they will lose so they don't care? WHERE are all your people that feel they can beat Obama?

And again what happens if Obama wins. Another 4 years of a DEM in the White House. If he does, can't say next year "lets make Obama a one term President." Are the GOP going to fight him again for 4 more years and not get any thing passed in Congress.

              Maybe you've forgotten. . .

In 2008, the democratic contest was not settled until MAY.

According to factcheck.org, the Brookings Institute rated the democratic primary the most negative campaign in, well, ever. Mostly because Obama kept sending out or airing negative-and false- ads against Hillary.

I wonder if he was thinking of Malia and Sasha when he did that?
