As GOP battles, voter confidence in Obama continues to improve

As Republican candidates for president battle on this Super Tuesday, President Obama’s score in the msnbc.com Voter Confidence Index for March is now -15 in the latest NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll.

Excluding the death of Osama bin Laden in May 2011, that is his best VCI score in two years -- since January 2010.

It’s also 4 points short of where George W. Bush was when he was reelected in 2004.

The party of war mongers (but don't raise my taxes) is pathetic. Obama in another landslide.

Obama's the warmonger. He unilaterally attacked Libya without authorization from congress. Bush had congressional approval and a bunch of UN resolutions authorizing force.

Of course, Bush had to invent evidence and lie to congress to get approval...

Bush didn't lie to congress. If he did, then the democrats would have charged him with it. No one ever charged him, except Chris Matthews and other leftist hacks....What was the lie?

Bush is considered to be a war criminal by many in this country and around the world. It will be a cold day in hell before a former president is brought to justice for what Bush has done, and more's the pity because his fabricated evidence and lies about the existence of WMDs caused an illegal war that claimed the lives of thousands of young American soldiers. bush's cronies and associates made huge fortunes on the war, so I guess it wasn't all bad, was it?

Only the willfully ignorant and the deliberately self-deceived still believe Bush is innocent, but he most vocal group who speak in his defense are liars. Which are you, moneyos1?

I dont believe the campaign of lies about him since before his second term. The leftists in the media fabricated lies and covered evidence of the discovery of WMD's in Iraq.

You are one of the many duped and it's not your fault. The barrage was very effective. All of the mainstream media was involved so it's no wonder. This is also why Obama is so popular. All he's done is destroy our representative republic but according to the media, all is well and the GOP is pure evil. He illegally attacked libya and caused the deaths of many. I guess this is ok since he's a socialist..

So you use tabloid newspapers to support your lies? They have even less credibility than FOX. There were no WMDs found in Iraq following Bush's illegal invasion. Read 'em and weep.

It's so much fun arguing with the right wing lunatic fringe. They just hate facts and avoid evidence because they interfere with their hateful, ignorant fantasy world.

So the thousands of Iraqi Kurds must have died from mayonaisse gas? And who is using tabloids here?

          #55.7 - Sat Mar 10, 2012 8:34 PM EST

That had occurred long before Bush's invasion of Iraq. Investigators from both the CIA and the UN concluded that Saddam's gas reserves had either been destroyed in the first Iraq War and/or the program had been dismantled following the conflict. The point is, at the time your war-criminal president was beating the drums of war, Saddam had nothing to justify the illegal invasion of Iraq.

Bush invented lies to invade Iraq, secure the oil fields, and enrich his buddies at Halliburton.

By the way, the tragic gas attack on the Kurds occurred in 1988. Bush conspired to invade Iraq in 2003. The events are not connected.

Face it, you righties got nothing but Flip Flomney, the originator of RomneyCare, otherwise known as ObamaCare. Modeled after it.

Ed's right though. Gas is only going to get more expensive and the debt is rising faster than ever. What will Obama do to correct this? Why should people vote for Obama over Romney? What is his plan?

              #58.2 - Sat Mar 10, 2012 7:27 PM EST

His "plan" is to use his independence, afforded him by being in his second and final term as President, to correct the "errors" of the last 30 years. He will use the powers of the NDAA and PATRIOT ACT to remove the obstructionists from the political debate and scene. Half of the SCOTUS and the Senate will be disappeared. The Federal Reserve Bank will be told to live up to their charter, and reduce domestic unemployment down to 4%, or be decertified. Millions of Americans will be put to work rebuilding our crumbling infrastructure and expanding our green energy production capabilities.

The American people have seen what Obama can do! The question is..., why would anyone have confidence in that?

Because it is so very obviously working for all of us, even for republicans.

Lots of GOP Boo-Birds on the vine tonight, as one would expect. The Super Tuesday Spanking must still sting. Newt won Georgia by a substantial margin, and Romney BARELY won Ohio against Insanitorium. St. Rick won solidly in Tennessee, and in other lesser states. There is no consensus among the GOP for their eventual losing candidate.

Oh, what a sad night in the GOP Clown Car Garage. Might be time for an oil change!!!
