By NBC's Garrett Haake and Jamie Novogrod
DAYTON, Ohio -- The Romney campaign opened a new front in its battle against Rick Santorum on Saturday, labeling the former Pennsylvania senator "not ready for prime time" and as having "flunked" a major presidential competency exam for his failure to file complete slates of delegates in several Super Tuesday primary states.
On a conference call with reporters meant to highlight the wide disparity in organizational prowess between the two Republican frontrunners, Romney national counsel Ben Ginsberg described Santorum's inability to file complete slates of delegates or get on the ballot in Ohio, Virginia, Tennessee, Illinois and the District of Columbia "almost unprecedented," in Republican presidential politics.
All told, according to the Romney campaign, Santorum's lack of ballot access will make him ineligible for fully 16 percent of the 391 bound delegates allocated on Super Tuesday alone.
Santorum's failures, Ginsberg said, “should give Republican voters great pause as we get ready to face President Obama.” Rep. Mike Turner, R-Ohio, piled on, telling reporters, "This goes right to the heart of [Santorum's] own inability to run a campaign"
While one senior Romney adviser said this week he did not expect the field of candidates to shrink immediately following Super Tuesday, a memo to reporters from the campaign's political director, Rich Beeson, summarized the plight Santorum may find himself in should he fall much further behind in the delegate count come Wednesday.
"Rick Santorum can point to states in April and beyond that are permitted to award delegates 'winner take all' – but many of these states are not friendly territory for him – Delaware, New Jersey, and Utah are just a few examples," Beeson wrote. "The bottom line is the Santorum campaign goes into Super Tuesday severely hobbled by his lack of organization and planning and systemic problem will only continue to plague him through the rest of the primary calendar."
Updated at 3:45 p.m. ET: Saturday, Santorum suggested the glitch is the result of a decision made months ago, when his campaign had little money and much less exposure.
“This was back in November and December,” Santorum told reporters of the filing deadlines. “Things were a little different than they are now.”
Still, it leaves questions about his organization heading into key contests next week.
But the former senator looked beyond Super Tuesday, saying he hoped to pick up states and perform strongly in upcoming Southern contests, which will likely be less friendly to Romney, the former Massachusetts governor.
"And I think we're going to come out of these states in good shape with a lot of delegates and I'm hopeful that we can go into Alabama and Mississippi with a strong head of steam -- and hopefully you know pick up those states and go from there."

I don't understand how a campaign could make such rookie mistakes. If Rick Santorum wanted to run for President you would think he would have a professional staff.
Are we surprised at Santorum failing anything? Time to load up on anti-Mitt spay.
If he can't run/manage something as simple as a campaign, how on earth can he be expected to manage something as complex as the country, as well as our superpower responsibilities.
LMAOOOOO, you silly, inconsistent lil looney libs.....
That was EXACTLY what Obama bragged was the reason you should have given him your vote in '08!!
When cornered of his lack of executive experience he showcased his leadership as a chief campaigner!.....lmao....libs are always sooooo transparent Stevie Wonder & Helen Keller could see through ya
goofballs
Michael1969 lives by a simple rule. If you don't get it right the first time then you won't get it right the next time. Such a successful fellow.
Any excuse for the liberals to try to diminish any republican candidate. If they sneeze wrong, they are incapable of leading this country. Back when the campaign first started, Santorum was short on cash... and people. As time marched along, he picked up both... but to the liberals, this is a shortfall. Goes to show you how liberals think... In presidential campaigns everything has to be perfect... and Obama has set a perfect example of how to campaign... after all, he's been doing it for 3 years now and most of it on the taxpayers dime.
Don't be mad because I'm right....just fix what's wrong with your logic and we'll all be good!
Speaking of which, scurry back and drop to your knees to worship Mr. Limpballs.
Obama has proven his ability to run the nation and play effectively in world politics. Santorum has only proven he can lose an election by a landslide and completely screw up a presidential campaign.
lol.....wow
skyrocking fuel
8 1/2% unemployment
record setting food stamp recipients
tar balls all over the southern beaches
Solydra and the whole "I heart pinwheels" ideaology
Cash for Clunkers
Dollars for Dishwashers
....and the granddaddy of em all - ObamaCare!....lol
Cannot wait until the June SCOTUS decision to put the final nail in the coffin of socialism.
.....and btw, who has time for Rush??
Some of us have to work during the day so you can get that welfare check.....a simple thank you will suffice ;)
Aw Mikey, I'm just happy that you are not left, and as you post all day long, we can presume that this is your job?
BTW, do I need permission from a liberal to say that??
Just askin'
brian Bless your heart your condescending attitude is running amuck. Your opinion shows that your a pompous a$$. Anyone who reads it can see it. All you do is post empty words of right wing crap that only sound good to you. If anyone disagrees with you there ignorant. keep on posting I know your real proud of yourself trying to show us your a good righty. So keep posting your opinions your not going to change anyones minds. You know your opinion is like a$$-holes we all got um. Except you where yours well.
Do you think any of the republicans are fit to run anything? For decades they bust the budget way more then Dems and then whine about spending. They attack science, they pander to corporate interests and "big shock" something else blows up in the economy. Finally, when we need spending to stave off a major depression, they get serious about austerity. Unfit to rule, unfit for anything.
No, we, democrats and republicans, want Santorum to be the Republican candidate. Republicans are going to lose anyhow, but by electing Santaliban, it will greatly damage the very anti-american "government by god" faction that has destroyed the conservatives and thereby greatly damaged the US. We want them to go down so that we can once again actually have a conservative party in the US, rather than a bunch of raving nuts.
'69 -- apparently you didn't get the Fox News/RNC memo. The 3 talking points you are suppose to bring up are the national dept, unemployment, and rising gas prices. Much like Santorum, you just can't get it right, but hey, two out of three ain't bad unless you are counting delegates. According to GOP/TP party leaders, the rest of your junk-talking point list can be tossed.
Time to unfurl yourself from your 69 position with Limpballs and wrap your mouth around the correct talking points, which of course, have been disputed so many times, any further attempts are meaningless.
Brian, had you actually read the entire post you would learn that it is Romney who is poo-pooing Santorum's lack of organization.
Breaking News;
Lord Limpball's CAVED under pressure! lol
Who said, women don't yield any power?
Former President Clinton put on a clinic on how to sculpt a prosperous America. For those of you who want to hear a real master relay how to fix an economy, then listen to this one. He has the benefit of hind sight, but I wonder if he would sign NAFTA today if given the chance.
My cell phone rang during this speech, and I certainly hope it did not disturb former President Clinton too much.
http://www.uaw.org/page/president-clintons-speech-2012-uaw-national-community-action-program-conference
Romney and Santorum both would fail the Clinton version of Presidential competency.
@ Feisty, what't that? Lord Limpball's CAVED under pressure! lol
It's all about the bucks for Lord Limpball.......I would love to know what, who got to him!

Typical lib tactic. If you can't challenge the thoughts, attack the person. Great job Smitty!
“This was back in November and December,” Santorum told reporters of the filing deadlines. “Things were a little different than they are now.”
Well, it's good to know what kind of long-term thinking he's able to employ effectively...none...Sure, President, Sticky Ricky, sure....yeah, you go ahead and run for that....btw, Mrs. Sticky? There are organizations to help abused wives.....be glad to forward the number to you, just say the word....

I did read the entire post... but that's not where I originated my first post from... It was from the previous posts above mine. I hope that explains it for you.
Now San(i)torum is going to call this Obama's fault.
Michael1969 post 1.8, just tellin': No, you don't need permission to say anything. However, tarballs on US oil-pumping State beaches have been around for well over 40 years and counting. We used to pick our way through the gagging, stinking refinery smog, squealing in terror when we found tarballs on the beach. We called 'em "Lumpatars" back then, but our parents washed off our tarry feet and clothes with kerosene, and saved us. I'm happy the EPA happened, else I would never have known how beautiful our coastlines are, or how sweet the smell of seagrass, or how high and far a pelican can swoop and dive. Life's a beach.
Gas prices? How quickly some of you forget! The average price of a gallon of gas in 2000 was $1.51. In 2007 the average price of a gallon was $3.18. Which was a record high even when adjusted for inflation! Who was president then? I give you a hint his name ryhmes with TUSH.
May 21 2007: 5:46 PM EDT
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Gasoline prices have soared to levels never seen before as even the inflation-adjusted price for a gallon of unleaded topped the 1981 record spike in price that had stood for 26 years. And higher prices could be on the way as Americans get ready to hit the road for the Memorial Day holiday and the start of the summer driving season.
The Lundberg Survey, a bi-weekly gas price tracking service, put the price of a gallon of unleaded at $3.18 in its latest reading released late Sunday, up more than 11 cents from its reading of two weeks ago
While gasoline had already been in record territory in current dollars, Trilby Lundberg, publisher of the survey, said this is the first time that her survey topped her 1981 record high when adjusted for inflation.
Sorry its Santorums fault if he can't get his act together to get on those ballots. It looks like it will be a lock for Romney now.
@Michael1969
LOL. I crack up every time I hear that. Conservatives are the real leeches on this country. It has been proven time and again, they are the ones without college degrees, have minimum wage jobs, if any.
Blue states like NY are wealthier and get much less for each dollar they pay in taxes. Red states like South Carolina get more than two dollars for each dollar they pay in taxes.
Anyways, my point is, Liberal's tax dollars are running this country and we need to end this socialism now!
Rick does not need money or organization; he's got God in his pocket.
Most of the GOP candidates never really seemed to be in it to win it. Santorum has only hung around this long because Cain could not get past nine - except with women, and Gringrich is only hanging in there to further promote his and wifey's book tour - it is kind of disgusting to watch her do autographs at all the stops. And Pawlenty was less liked by the GOP than Romney. Perry, Bachmann were only able to get in it because the field was so bad. Both had GWB issues/similariities, and even the GOP would not go there.
Santorum's boo-boo means he's toast. So even though the GOP is soft on Romney, they will apparently settle for him. He will not get an endearing endorsement, which will hurt him as the nominee. And if Paul's level of disappointment with Romney and Santorum continues to rise, look for him as a third-party candidate that will end whomever is the Republican nominee and their chance for the White House.
Hopefully Rick Stantorum will drop out of the race after super Tuesday. He knows he can't and won't be the Republican nominee, especially by espousing the social conservative issues that play only to the Evangelicals voting bloc. He cries about the Michigan results but doesn't mention the only reason he finished 3% pts behind Romney was because of the cross over democrats voting.
I understand he is pandering to the democrats again in Ohio since they, I believe, also have an open primary. Also hopefully Gingrich will also drop out of the race. Romney, even being a long shot, is the only one that might be able to beat Obama.
Romney, even being a long shot, is the only one that might be able to beat Obama.
And that's a mighty big might!
And that's a mighty big might!
Why would it be a mighty big might? Just because you think Obama is unbeatable, doesn't make it so. Weigh his negatives against Mitt's and it's about an even matchup. Obama does not have a lock on this election by any standard.
GBM - Now we know why he had to hire a delegate counter on Friday. Counting and paper work seem to be problematic for the GOP/TP these days. Is it any wonder we had an economic collapse under republican leadership?
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/03/01/10554288-santorum-hires-delegate-counter-campaign-admits-to-still-learning-the-rules
Hey RedDev - do they also have a problem going to the bathroom? I mean why not? To the liberals all republican candidates have so many problems, they might as well not be able to use the bathroom right either...
Do you know how ridiculous you sound?
BB - The only thing I know about the GOP/TP bathroom habits is what I read concerning the Minneapolis airport. It sounds like their bathroom habits are quite varied and include some fancy footwork.
Yah RedDev... kinda sorta like the Weiner having to resign over his escapades on the internet and then lying about them... Maybe we can compare more nastiness from both parties.. could be like a tennis match..
Brianb, why are you talking about the liberals. This is completely Santorums failure, if you have a problem with it blame him, its not the liberals job to hold his hand and guide him through the process.
that's very true Red Dev.... they want the perks and bennies that apparently go on in their public bathroom adventures but they don't wanna get married
It is all about delegates. If one is not getting delegates in enough states his chances are greatly reduced. Perhaps Santorum knows this but he is praying that some how a miracle will catapult him to the nomination.
I hope he stays in up to the convention so we will see more gaffs and more stupidity in the GOP race as they deflect off the economy and on to social issues. Those social issues will sink their already very leaky boat.
How well I remember back to 2008 when the Republicans challenged Senator Obama's experience and said he had never run anything. Some of us commented that he had run a billion dollar campaign flawlessly and we were told that was insufficient experience. Now, the Santorum campaign is being told it has "flunked a major test"---which way is it, Republicans? Or is it just convenient flip-flopping?
Steeler - I am certain that the liberals are very content with the way Obama is running this country. They make excuses at every turn for him. They are well versed at covering his socialist leanings, his Muslim sympathy, his blatant mishandling of the economy and many more things. It's quite obvious liberals think everything he does is far superior to anyone else seeking his office.
But - How do the rest of Americans think about Obama? How about the unemployed? How about those that believe he has direct ties with wall street and the unions. How about anyone that can see the socialist leanings and the direction this country is going... do you think those people support Obama? I don't think so.
The liberals are banking on the fact that the republican candidate will appear weak, or according to them, a poor choice. Liberals are doing this before the candidate receives the nomination... claiming all are weak and all aren't capable... I know liberals are doing this to try to convince the rest of the voting public that Obama is the ONLY viable choice. Little do the liberals know that those of us on the other side see this as a sign of fear and weakness. It shows us that even liberals aren't positive that Obama can win... no matter how much bluster, or bravado they signal.
Those of us on the right have your number liberals... you are afraid... and it's you that are showing the signs of it... If Obama were such a shoe in, his numbers would be much higher in the polls... and not just the liberal polls... we all know there are many polls and Obama is anything but consistent in them. Keep that in mind. The republican nomination isn't over yet... liberals are declaring victory... a sure sign they aren't confident at all.
BB
Haven't you realized yet it doesn't matter one bit who is president? We are owned by all the money men. Doesn't matter what party you believe in, it is all the same...... he who has the purse strings rules.
Who do the republicans get their talking points from?
"The national government will maintain and defend the foundations on which the power of our nation rests.
It will offer strong protection to Christianity as the very basis of our collective morality.
Today Christians stand at the head of our country. We want to fill our culture again with the Christian spirit.
We want to burn out all the recent immoral developments in literature, in the theatre, and in the press -- in short, we want to burn out the poison of immorality which has entered into our whole life and culture as a result of LIBERAL excess during the past years."
-- Adolf Hitler
So republicans, who's wearing the funny mustache now?
Everyone who understands how the GOP IS the fascist part please repost this ad nauseum. The voting public needs to be educated to exactly who they would be voting for.
Thank you.
Brian
Your English lesson for today. Socialism defined:
Any of various theories or systems of social organization in which the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy.
(Economics) an economic theory or system in which the means of production, distribution, and exchange are owned by the community collectively, usually through the state. It is characterized by production for use rather than profit, by equality of individual wealth, by the absence of competitive economic activity, and, usually, by government determination of investment, prices, and production levels
If you can make a case that there is any national support or movement for government ownership of the means of production in America, I challenge you to make it now!
I often see socialism used as a throw away line in these forums. It is simply a display of ignorance by those that make these posts, they are obviously using words heard on a right wing talk program that they do not understand.
These babblers are about as useful as the McCarthyites in the 50's who saw a commie behind every tree and in every classroom.
Well said Loyal.
Brian. Love the bubble. Muslim sympathy. I am sorry. Bin Laden dead. Gadaffi dead. 5 times as many top Al queda people as Bush in his whole term. He has taken out more terrorists the Bush even dreamed of. He surged troops in Afghanistan. He ended Iraw because of keeping to an agreement made under Bush. Is it cause he wont just go immediatly bomb Iran and start another way that he is a sympathizer? Those statements are such BS that when GOP members say them it shows they have nothing. This coming from an independent who would vote for a GOP member if they actually cared about my middle class self. Not cur programs that people need and pay into because corporations are people and need those tax breakks. Taxes are lowest in 50 years under Obama and its not enough. Saying the same thing over and over and over doesnt make it real. Look what Obama has done in the war on terror and dealing with international battles against Muslim and compare it to Bush who had full support for a long time and check the scorecards.
And I support him who wants to help the middle class and lays out ways to do it over non stop talk about how thechurch should be involved in politics or how Mitt cant stick to a answer longer then an hour. And are running full on religion to pander to the tea party minority that took the party over. Do we really need to give more tax breaks to those that are making more money then ever while we have a deficit that was caused by the groundwork laid out by Bush and his"temporary" tax cuts. Cutting taxes while at war. Amazing. Not to mention. Mitt would have had another 2 million people out of work if his let Detroit go bankrupt was used. So tell me wo cares about wat people in this race again

Well jackwad, socialism is alive and brewing in America. Too bad you don't see it coming to a corner near you.
Twisted - if you really believe Obama wants to help the middle class, you have swallowed it hook, line and sinker... he's reeling in people like you left and right... well not so much right... but definitely the left is buying all his crap because you refuse to admit that you are dumb enough to be completely duped by this community organizer. I have seen liberals make excuses for him, defend him when he is completely wrong, promote his socialist ideas like Obama care... defend the whole concept through means that aren't even in the ACA. I've witnessed nasty name calling to any one that doesn't believe in Obama... the left is completely sucked in... and that's just plain wrong. This politician has convinced the left that he is the only one qualified and is among the top 3 presidents ever.
The man is ruining this economy... he can't control unemployment and just wait... wait for inflation... it's
cominghere already... price food lately? How about anything for your automobile? Prices in stores have jumped so much this last year... Milk last year was $2.89 per gallon... Today I priced the same gallon of milk at $3.99. That's a 27% jump in one year... Have you priced beef lately? $11.99 a lb for ribeye steak...Obama is supposed to be on top of this stuff... where is he? Oh.. that's right... he's on the campaign trail.
Brian
The Auto industry? Do you think it is owned by the Federal government? Get help.
So you agree with Romney that the industry should have been liquidated?
Did I miss something when "He Who Shall Not Be Named" signed TARP. My impression is that "He" was a darling of the right wing GOP.
Didn't vote for Maxine and don't care.
Brianb-999431, I hate to break this to you, but throwing free cash at corporations like GM, Chrysler, and throwing free cash at banks is not socialism...
Would you like me to remind you who started throwing free cash at Wall Street and private corporations before Obama took office?
BrianB... why do you hate President Obama? Sorry... he will win again come November.. even you don't like it... and he will be your President again even you don't like it....If you can't live with it I suggest you go migrate to another country!!!
So in conclusion you got no idea what socialism is but you are damn sure it is engulfing us.
Do you rotate between Rush, Glen and Hannity or do stick with one for your political entertainment?
I don't listen to the liberals for my political news, that's for sure. I can't help it you are so blind you can't see what's going on around you... Maybe you are way too young to remember what it was like to not have socialism in your midst. Maybe you were brought up with it in your school days so you wouldn't know how to recognize it. Taking a dictionary description and comparing it to the society we live in doesn't work.
BRIANB
You need to get both views of a story. When you get only one angle of a story, well, You get what we have right here. You. typical GOPer. I think the different between parties are one side see both views and the other has a one angle view. I feel sad for you and will pray that it will end soon. So son, watch and listen to some other channels with you usual one to get a better view. Education is so important but the GOP won't understand that, unless you are the 1%
"Socialism" is bandied about on here a lot, mostly as a synonym for "something we really don't like". (The other term from the other side incidentally is "neocon". I'm sticking to actual words with true meanings and ignoring "libtard", "teabagger", etc.)
Well, like John Kerry, I was against socialism before I was for it. That was when I figured out that in this part of the semi-rural Upper South, socialism is part and parcel of our daily lives, because our most basic services, electricity and water, are from "socialist" entities. Where there is natural gas, it often is also. Our water is mostly from "utility districts" which are technically "municipal corporations without the ability to tax". They issue tax-exempt bonds, receive Federal loans and grants, and generally act like the little "governments" that they are. They were created because it was apparent by the FDR era of the 1930's that private businesses nor the existing municipalities had little or no interest in building infastructure in areas with such low potential return on investment, and that growth in the areas was going to be extremely limited without water service. Same with gas. They are technically owned by their subscibers -- "socialism". And you know what, so what? Many often get offers (now that the heavy lifting of the buildout is mostly over and paid for in many areas) from for-profit operators to be bought out, but few want this, and a comparison of rates is usually why. The electricty here is from TVA and its municipal and co-operative distributors, need I say more? (I could but I won't.)
Now as to what this should really be about, ballot access. In Tennessee, you can get on the ballot for governor statewide with the same number of valid signatures of registered voters that you need for constable -- twenty-five. But to be a Republican delegate, you need 100. And if you are running as a district delegate, they have to all live in the district in which you are running. I think that this is a result of party rules, not law. Even Newt doesn't have a full slate of delegates running, enough to fill potentially every slot available. Of all of the candidates and former candidates (it's also hard to get off of the ballot -- Perry, Bachman, even Huntsman are still on the ballot and have committed delegates running) only Romney has a full slate, mostly of longtime party bigwigs and major donors. It says more about who the party "mechanism" is for than it does about anything else, at least here.
Yes Gov Romney has the best campaign money can buy. The American people (the silent ones) know what is really going on here. I think Romney must be talking about himself when he talks about "mistakes." The only mistakes I have seen out of Santorum is not enough of him in the Press! He's extremely sober, intelligent--we are lucky to have him running instead of choosing "Obama Lite."
If I was a Romney contributor, I'd want my money back.
Who cares? All politicans care about is money and power. And we the people fall for someone's line of bs every time.
Obama has major negatives, with unemployment, under-employment rate, Gas prices over $3.70/Gal.,
ObamaCare is a major 2,000+ disaster filled with new taxes, regulations, garbage...
Debt over $15 Trillion; Deficit over $1.1 Trillion
Vote for Romney. Romney is the Only candidate with 25 years working in the "real" world, and only candidate who's been a Governor too.
Romney is the real deal. A very honest, hard-working, well-balanced person, a Problem Solver too.
look this up Bain Capital owns interest in Rush Limbaugh radio station.Romney worksfor Bain right?
Rush is on over 600 stations (or at least has been up to now) so that's hardly surprising, and you'd have to be more specific about which one or ones for that to make much difference. He's not going to "pick" a candidate until the process has run out; then he will be for whoever the Republican Party is behind.
"Romulian Romney" and "Sanitarium Santorum" are both GOP Clowns that are not Presidential, not competent, not tolerant of others, and extremely Cognitively Disabled. The "Romulian" is just a GOP "Flip-flopping" Clown, and "Sanitorium Santorum" is a Right Wing Religious Radical with severe Behavioral issues. What a joke!
Obama has major negatives, but the liberal media won't talk about it.
Unemployment, under-employment, astronomical debt and deficit, gas over $3.70/Gal., and now 1,300
workers at a Chevy Volt plant in Michigan will be layed-off, due to no demand for the Volt.
paul
Dig a little into the Volt layoff before pulling the trigger. Hoping to embarrass Obama, GOP Rep. Darrell Issa held hearings on the bogus safety concerns which panicked potential Volt buyers.
Since you are so eager to pin this one on Obama, may I assume you are on Darrell's staff?
Still, it's big "marketing" strategy is the $7500 tax credit and a program for similar smaller state tax credits, also ultimately federally funded. The real problem (as with hydrogen, methanol, etc.) is infastructure. No charging stations until more on the road. Few on the road until there are more charging stations. Chicken and egg. Maybe the new gasoline prices will get it going, but it still seems doubtful for now.
Could you get Issa behind it if it were required that all Volts come equipped with "The Club"?
Personally I think we are overlooking the potential benefits of LP gas as a vehicle fuel. It has been used as a motor fuel for 100 years. The infrastructure is already in place, you can go to any Walmart to exchange an empty tank.
It is definitely a domestic product, does not compete with other uses such as jet fuel and now costs about Nueter's $2.50/gallon.
For all who believe that the current economic situation was caused by Obama. Follow this link to an article written by a nobel laureate in 2007. This was prior to the current administration in case you cannot remember.
It's OK, God will forgive him.
Me, I am sticking with Santa Claus.
We've got a rookie in the Wkite House now. We don't need another one. Romney is absolutely correct.
How long are you a Rookie in the White House league? Is one year's experience leading the free world enough, or is it two? three?
Do you need to serve two terms to shake the Rookie label?
soros, van jones and obama founders of the new amerika!!!!
For all who believe the sound bites over who caused the current economic problem please read the article that was published in Vanity Fair in 2007 by a Nobel laureate in 2007. This was prior to the current president being elected as if that needs to be stated.
Obama, his PACs, the DNC, the Unions, Michael Moore, Tricky Ricky and others are spending fortunes of money attacking Mitt Romney. And if you read between the lines, although the message is pretty blatant, Obama’s darlings in the media through Media Matters the NY Times, the major networks, CNN, MSNBC, and virtually every newspaper in the USA are running ‘hit jobs’ smearing Romney. Why? Obama’s scared to death of a November showdown with Mitt. People, we should listen! Don’t be played for saps. The message couldn’t be clearer. Unless you want Obama to have four more years to take this country down an irreversible road to ruin, vote for Mitt. Rick’s a good father, Newt’s a great historian, and Ron Paul may be the most fiscal conservative. But only Mitt can, and will, beat Obama. We need to unite this party before we let the media control the message and hand Obama victory. Let’s send a message. We’ve had a good debate, now we need to stop this suicidal path. Romney’s got the business savvy and the executive experience to right our nation’s course. United we stand, divided we will surely fall.
VOTE ROMNEY TUESDAY !!!
How can you vote for a flip flopper whose wife has to stick up for her man. Pray for a brokered convention.
Mitt's wife has always loved America!!!!!
Mitt has experience!!!!!
Obama is a failure!!!!
Does mooochelle love America or is she just saying that???
well, let's just thank our lucky stars that Mitt Romney was the best the butt kissing, rich worshipping wannabees could come up with. They better get ready for another 4 yrs of name calling. I for one don't mind being a lil socialistic. And truth be known, idiots like Brian and all the others don't really mind having their electricity provided to them by a monopoly, their water piped to their homes by a municipality, their mail delivered by the Postal Service or their hospital services provided by their country hospital district. Oh, and their "news" regurgitated into their homes by Faux News along with some help cheerleading from Rush Limpballs. Now there's some "socialism" for ya!
Would someone please wake me and let me know when the Republican candidates start talking about the real issues in detail that face this country. If they ever get around to it.
The new entry into the race will win this anyway.
Sorry, I was not aware that links cannot be inserted. Google 'The Economic Consequences of Mr Bush' and read what the article stated about an economic collapse that was unavoidable and written long before 2009!
pmfcentrist, you have to be a member a little while longer before you can post links. Excellent article and a must read. Thank you! Here's the link:http://www.vanityfair.com/politics/features/2007/12/bush200712
Interesting article. Unlike those who feel such an overwhelming urge to suggest that anyone that they voted for never did anything wrong and hence suggest it is all right for a fiftysomething Chief Executive to receive fellatio from a twentysomething intern, I will make no defense of Bush's indefensible economic policies. I'll instead go on the attack and suggest that if the Democrats had nominated better candidates that the incompetent dullard Al Gore and the haughty, condescending John Kerry, who served in Viet Nam and then made common cause with Jane Fonda and everyone else who wanted to undermine and destroy the efforts there, we wouldn't ever have had eight years of "W". Likewise, if the House of Elephant could've come up with someone compelling rather than John "Grumpy Old Man" McCain, no Obama, and with the current cast of characters, it would be easy to see four more years of the same, high unemployment and general disarray notwithstanding.
Actually an argument could be advanced that Ricky Sanctimonium has run a masterful campaign in the spirit of limited spending and small infrastructure. In the early debates he was the kid everyone ignored; hopping up and down trying to get noticed. He had no money and no national recognition. His tactic of setting his hair on fire to gain attention was brilliant and he craftily chose his Iowa target to get the maximum bang for his limited bucks.
In contrast, Wiggly Willard (WW) is the model of a big spending big infrastructure ponderous campaign. WW is constantly harassed by his history he himself has difficulty explaining. After eight years of presidential campaigning and carpet bombing his opponents he has managed a couple of squeakers.
Forgetting religion (both may be goofy) for the moment, Ricky is probably running a campaign more similar to what America wants from it's government. Lean, nimble and effective.
As usual, the best and most cogent analysis comes from an outsider, someone with "no dog in the hunt". You hit the nail on the head and have betrayed your avatar, that is a lot more insightful than the average ape, or the average Texan for that matter.
Santorum - hah, what a joke!
Santorum belongs on the Comedy Network.
I don't think we need be concerned about another loser Republican president this election. If the Republican controlled House of Representatives completely ignoring the economy in favor of every stupid evangelical social issue they can think of wasn't enough of a put-off, the Republican spokesman, Rush Limbo has sealed the deal for Obama with his comments about women who use contraception being sluts and prostitutes.
If we vote enough crooked Republicans out of office in November maybe President Obama can finally fix the economy.
Washington - another Romney win........Feeling the heat Obama? We know you're scared.
hahahahaha. What are the odds of Americans electing a Mormon corporate raider who wants to increase military spending??? Not very good. And now that Romney's association with Rush Limbo is clear noone will touch Romney with a ten-foot pole.
Rush Limbo is owned by Clear Channel. Clear Channel is owned by Bain Capital. And...Bain Capital is Mitt Romney's company. So, the only people who are going to vote Republican are the religious nuts, the gun nuts, and the tea party retards.
Obama won't even break a sweat getting re-elected. hahahahahaha
We'll see how forgivng people are of $5.00 gas if it is for more than a few weeks.
Santorum is a jerk who sets one standard for himself (mom a nursing administrator; dad a clinical psychologist; himself a B.A., MBA and J.D., his wife a nurse and his two college age kids IN college) and another for the rest of us (not EVERYONE can be like me!) AND, apparently an incompetent jerk at that!
