All hell will break loose with the GNOP Gran Poobah's if Willard doesn't squeek out a win in MI!

After all it is his HOME state, where the trees are just the right height!

Feisty--you forgot "...where all the women are strong, all the men are good looking, and all the children are above average." Garrison Keillor

And there is something special about the sidewalks there, too.

Boy have I got good news for all you denizens of the Dew Drop inn. For one night and one night only down at your favorite watering hole we have booked the All Star Blues Line-up that was down to the White House less the President. Oh the President wanted to be there but scheduling conflicts wouldn’t allow it even though it was certainly more fun than this governing thing he’s tied up with right now. He did send us a link to the festivities so you’ll enjoy.

So come on down to the Dew Drop Inn and we’ll kick off the that most American celebration Mardi Gras with a celebration of that most American music namely ,The Blues, Jazz and Dixieland with all the Greats. My F.R. ladies are going to bring all their special treats and mixtures and we are anticipating a good rollicking good time till the wee hours and maybe we’ll move it on over to the Comeback Inn and make a weekend out of it.

I understand that some congratulations are in order for my old friends Mr. Murray and Mr. Montenaro so we are going to seat you and your family’s right up front and all drinks and party favors are on the Denizens tonight. That is if it’s got to the point that Sasha will let Mr. Murray out for a quick one or the new little one is ready for a celebration.

Tyler and Sally you’ll are gonna have to get the Bosses up there to quit letting the dogs out like they did today or give you’ll some raises or something. Thank you for Restoring posts with all the Alacrity that you have on days like today so the discussion can continue unabated and as raucous as ever.

As always my thanks and appreciation to our hosts for their time, giving me a little place to stand, a subject to comment on, a forum to put it in, and their indulgence when I don’t quite get it right or get a little off subject. I purely do appreciate it. Hope you’ll have a fine weekend and good fun among folks that you know and love. To my fellow participants keep well, keep safe, and keep the faith. We’ll make it. See you’ll next week

Drive –by How’s about starting us off with a little “The Thrill is Gone” by old B.B. King although they tell me “Sweet Home Chicago” is moving up the charts with a certain backup vocalist.

Was the "Romulian's" Bird Of Prey built by GM?? Oh! That's right! The GOP "Speculator and Chief" wanted GM to go bankrupt. The "Romulian" had alot of room in Ford Stadium to park his foreign made Bird Of Prey. Now when the GOP "Political Recycler" is on his very strong medications?? He sees all the trees as being even, corporations are people, he does not care about the poor, and he likes firing people/corporations. "Romulian Romney" not only wanted to let GM go bankrupt! He wants to let all struggling people with home mortgages go bankrupt. The "Romulian" is so "Alien" to 99% of Americans. That he thinks that he is unemployed, and that he at one time almost got a pink slip. Really?? The "Romulian" is still getting a pay check from Bain Capital. This "Bain Trained" economic flip-flopper has NO clue of what the Middle Class even looks like. Hey! Hey! Ho! Ho! The Party Of NO has got to GO!!
