While Rick Santorum's positions on social issues and religion have been getting plenty of attention, President Barack Obama's campaign team took specific aim today at his economic policies, discussing both Santorum and Mitt Romney's plans for tackling the deficit.
The conference call with reporters was one of the first times that Team Obama has taken explicit aim at Santorum and placed him at the same level as chief rival Romney. Obama backers alleged that both Romney and Santorum's tax cut and defense spending proposals would actually add trillions to the national debt over 10 years.
Campaign economic advisor and Harvard professor Jeffrey Liebman estimated that Romney's proposals to boost both corporate tax cuts and defense spending -- plus relatively muted spending cuts -- would raise the deficit to at least 6 percent of GDP in 2016. He said the same number could be as high as "7, 8, 9 percent of GDP" for Santorum.
Obama's proposal, his team says, would reduce the deficit to just 3 percent of GDP in the same year. That's in comparison to a current CBO "alternative scenario" -- which assumes the extension of the Bush tax cuts -- that would put the deficit at 5 percent of GDP in 2016.
On the call, campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt declined to re-address the recent controversy over Santorum's "theology" comments, saying that the campaign responded to it over the weekend.
(LaBolt last week called Santorum's comment "the latest low in a Republican primary campaign that has been fueled by distortions, ugliness, and searing pessimism and negativity.")
"What's clear is that Sen. Santorum is focused on issues that divide Americans rather than the issues that the American people are focused on right now, which is who's going to restore our economic security for the middle class and who's going to create jobs now," he added today.
*** UPDATE *** The Romney campaign sends along this response: "President Obama is in no position to criticize Mitt Romney's proposals to cut taxes and restore fiscal responsibility," spokesman Ryan Williams said. "After all, this is the President who just proposed the largest tax increase in American history and has given us four straight trillion-dollar budget deficits. Middle-income Americans have been crushed by the Obama economy and millions of American workers have just given up looking for work. This was the president who told us that if he didn't fix the economy in three years, he'd be looking at a one term proposition. It's time to collect."

Obama Biden 2012
I don't think "hope and change" of 2008 is going to have much appeal in 2012. It certainly lost it's luster in 2010...
UAW Pleeeeeeease - Obama is the only sane person running for the office of President. The GOP has brought out every imbecile they have - okay, actually I'm sure they have more but please don't show them to us. The GOP has become a laughingstock! It's truly an embarrassment that the US is looking so stupid because these idiots are "politicians."
And, UAW - Hope and Change is soooooo much better than back 100 years!!!!!
Santorum and religious cult leaders agree with the clinical raping of woman with a vaginal ultrasound ..What new lows will the GOP sink to?
The Party of "get government out of our lives" advocates forcing women to have an ultrasound probe inserted in their vaginas as a requirement before terminating a pregnancy. When you consider some of these pregnancies may have been created as the result of forcible rape or incest, it becomes even more of a violation.
I felt the same when I read it Amy. To be honest, I hope I never meet Santorum face to face cause I'm not sure I could keep from b!tch slapping the idiot.
But there is really no need for the President to "target" In-Sanityorum. Mittens is Rove's anointed one and will be the GOP-TEA nominee.
Richard cranium Santorum has a BUNCH of hidden baggage in addition to his inane positions and ideas - no problem.
He is the one who, as Congressperson, tried to outlaw the National Weather Service - Why? you ask...because a private meteorology company donated $15,000.00 to him. He felt the National Weather Service violates OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to not know whether or not it is going to rain tomorrow on the picnic we planned.....
I mean, this guy is WAY out there.
The GOP is insane, when you think they can't sink any lower, they find a way!!!! Obama will be re-elected and the Repub bums should be voted out of the Congress and the Senate. DEMOCRATS 2012!!!!!
What? INPS did you really think before you typed that?
UAW. Yes INPS really did think before he typed that.
The real question is, did the GOP really think before they came up with that. DUH.
Let's give the baby a chance to answer which is more invasive...the ultrasound or the equipment it takes to dismember and suck him/her into the garbage.
But BigTex.........it isn't a baby yet. Just like batter isn't a cake. And besides..........men don't get a say with women's bodies. Until they start having babies, too. And raising them. And paying for them.
Not a baby? What is it, a tool shed? Will she be giving birth to a backhoe? A sports car, maybe?
A man doesn't have any say in the fate of his child?
Are you people serious? You say that The republicans are a bunch of idiots, but yet the president you obviously voted for has sent us into more of a financial spiral than we have ever been in since the depression! This president is trying to take away our freedoms, one at a time. What good has he done, please tell me! You are probably the same people that think it's ok for kids that get pregnant should be able to get abortions without any knowledge of their parents. And by the way "SoSickoftheGop", a fetus is a baby, I should know, my son was born @ 24 weeks, barely over a pound. The doctor said to terminate him because he wouldn't be "normal". Well I will tell you he is AWESOME, and the doctor was WRONG!!! Let me add, the man also has a choice to have his kid or not. I'm sick of all this garbage about it's the woman's body so she has the right. What are u talking about?! I am a good father and take care of my kids. I have just as much say in what happens to my children. And what about the child? There are many children killed in the name of convenience because people want to have sex with whoever, whenever. Is that that child's fault that people are irresponsible? Why is it that Lacey Peterson's husband was charged with double murder? That is a double standard, He can choose to kill his unborn child, but he got charged with murder.(I am not defending him by the way, just trying to point something out) People like you can kill your unborn child and Obama will pay for the procedure! America is in a state of moral decay, and Obama is speeding the process along. When will it be ok to kill someone because they inconvenienced you? That's the future we are headed for.
@ InPS, is it rape when you want to have a child and have a vaginal ultrasound? Don't think so, you are more fanatical than you think they are. Last time I checked Catholics are considered Christians. Not cult leaders. Some people hate the fact that there are still people who stand up for their beliefs, unlike the rest of the herd who follows whatever there President and TV tells them to do.
catholics can believe whatever they want..............but they don't have the right to make me believe it too. and they don't have the right to make it the law of the land. you do your own thing............and leave the rest of us the f&&k alone. and i do have to say you guys are sounding more cultish all the time. a catholicd food pantry turning down food just because it was donated by planned parenthood? yeah, that's what jesus would have done.
BigTex..............If she down't want to she doesn't have to give birth to anything. A backhoe? A car? I hope you haven't fathered any children if all you can talk is trash. A backhow. Give me a break are you all idiots?
SoSick...
I can tell by your spelling that i'm going to have to slow down a bit, take you by the hand and try harder to show you my point. When I read your post, I felt my I.Q. drop about sixty points. Can you spell I.Q.?
What I was saying was, human beings give birth to other human beings, therefore, of course it is a baby in her body. I can't stop her from killing it, I just want to make sure there is no mistaking the fact that it is a baby.
I hope your kids go to a better school than you did, or are you still in school...anyway, I must admit, you are a good example in cases for abortion.
Hey BigTex, you one of those misogynists that think the little woman doesn't know what is happening to her OWN BODY? Trying to SHAME her? How about this - I don't care what you think about abortion, don't have one if you don't believe in them (and I never had one, by the way), but it's none of your business. Women aren't chattel (much as republicans would like to "bring the country back" to that. We don't need your interference in our business. And what happened to "get the government out"? How about republicans BUTT OUT of women's business?
lib50
I'm not talking about her body, i'm talking about the baby's body. It is the baby's body that is aborted, not the mother's. Plus, who the hell asked you?
Who the hell asked YOU to get involved in a decision that doesn't concern YOU?
Apparently doesn't concern you either, dear.
Let the right-wing whining begin--ignoring, of course, that Santorum, Romney, Gingrich and Paul have all been in full-voiced anti-Obama attack mode for months.
Obama/Biden 2012!!!!!
Unmask the masquerade in their plans early so all can see.........maul their lies down.
Jody - unfortunately the GNOPers have been anti-Obama since Jan 21 2009.....they didn't give him a chance or even offered any type of bipartisanship..it's always been NO NO NO......
America is starting to wake up and come November I think the GNOP will find out what NO really means!
Hell yes, the only choice for America is the clear and proven leadership of President Obama.
Obama / Biden 2012
Clear and Proven hatred of America!
This is an interesting article from Boston.com re: birth control history. As you can see, there was a time when a Pope thought birth control was perfectly acceptable. In 1963 for goodness sakes!
Written by James Carroll, ex-Priest:
HERE'S A book title suited to recent headlines: "The Time Has Come: A Catholic Doctor's Proposals to End the Battle Over Birth Control.'' Alas, the battle over birth control has been reignited, with Catholic doctors (and nurses, professors, social workers, and others whose health insurance is at issue) finding themselves in the thick of conflict, whether they want to be or not. Catholic bishops, having a generation ago squandered the treasure of moral leadership, have lately been offered a pulpit from which to bully. They're back.
Never mind that the bishops have been had. Conservative Republicans, knowing which buttons to push, have successfully conscripted the Catholic hierarchy into the battle to unseat President Obama. As the right cheers the bishops on, they can dream that the long-settled issue of birth control is still lively.
The administration, and many Catholics who ignore church teaching on birth control, attempted to show respect anyway. But the bishops rejected Obama's compromise, refusing to yield their point even after winning it. Such deluded lust for power would be sad, but they brought this embarrassment on themselves. A short history of the Catholic contraception argument shows how.
The book "The Time Has Come'' was, in fact, published in 1963 by Harvard gynecologist John Rock, inventor of the birth-control pill. He argued that the pill, in using "natural'' responses of a woman's body, was not "artificial.'' Therefore the pill was birth control the church could approve. That this was a genuine opening to change was reinforced when Pope John XXIII convened the six-member (three clergy, three laity) Papal Commission on Population, the Family, and Natality, and when the Second Vatican Council put "responsible parenthood'' on its agenda. The time had come.
But in 1964, the new pope, Paul VI, diluted the papal commission by expanding its membership to 72, almost all clerics, including 16 cardinals and bishops (and only five women). This stacked the deck against any change in church teaching on contraception, which became even more unlikely when the pope abruptly ordered the council not to take up the question, reserving it to himself alone.
************
Women don't appreciate men sticking their noses in places they don't belong. Especially the Pope and Bishops. In case no one has noticed - They don't live in the real world.
I think Santorum is history. He has said some mind boggling things of late and as these statements sink in, his support is going to dwindle down. Especially when he said President Obama didn't govern according to the Bible. That was really really bad.
Does Santorum now want to govern according to the Dead Sea Scrolls? Somebody should ask him at the next debate.
We're on a need to know basis these days with him. LoL.
Well said, Pat. You usually offer very good insight (as do most of the regular posters here…and a few of them are conservative, too!)…
I think it’s very interesting how Christians aren’t especially keen on history…especially our own.
Take Christ, for example: in the time he lived, his countrymen were under the abusive rule of Rome—a pagan/multi-theistic (one might say: liberal), yet largely pragmatic (one might say: conservative) society that at the time controlled much of the then-known world.
Christ’s own people had centuries-long hopes of one day freeing themselves from their Roman oppressors, and often turned to the Torah (what we Christians call the first five books of our Bible) for the inspiration. And that freedom lay solely in terms that they could understand and accept with their religious moorings: violent rebellion and conflict, followed by rulership (Kingship/monarchy)not unlike the nations around them.
Jesus, for all his qadosh, (“holiness” in Hebrew, I think), did not subscribe to this line of thinking. He went out of his way, at every opportunity, to reinforce this with his immediate followers, and even the Romans he met. He clearly wanted to introduce a new way of thinking about not only his people’s relationship with God, but of God’s relationship with everybody else, too. And how the changing of the perception of man’s relationship with God would fundamentally change their relationships with one another…
Without meandering too much, it is extremely disheartening that so many people who claim Christ as a basis for their spiritual perspective (be they Baptist, Pentecostal, Lutheran, Mormon or Roman Catholic) have very little interest at all in his social consciousness.
So much time and effort has been spent in this country trying to focus on and “elevate” the divinity of Christ, that there has been a decided un-Christlike approach to harmonious, conscientious, caring societal policy.
Not a policy of forced equal financial standing, necessarily, but one where justice is a matter of conscience. Not a matter of legislation. And certainly not a matter of dogmatic, ritualistic fervor.
Especially those whose “calling” is in total service to God: it might be best to find out what exactly God is interested in taking care of, instead of what you think He’s interested in taking care of.
There’s another use for the Bible I’ve found over the years that actually does some good (aside from a paperweight or a decoration piece or something to pound your fist against)…
…whoever made a Bible you could actually read was a genius…
P.S. : that guy would be named Guttenberg, wouldn’t he, Pat? I can’t be too sure, what with that waste of a public liberal education I had forced on me…
marco, very nice post.
I remember those old 1940's/1950's movies with Ingrid Bergmann, Bing Crosby, Mickey Rooney and other actors where the Catholic Churches were always portrayed as an important member of the community. They were caring, patient, honest, devout.
Seems to me that now everybody is just looking out for themselves. Making everything political instead of more humane, more caring, more patient, more honest, etc.
One thing abuout Santorum which Ihav en't seen addressed is the fact tha this man is in favor of violating the separation of church and state that is the bedrock of the American Constitution that he has sworn to uphold in his former life as a senator.
That is enough reason to bar him from ever having public office in this counbtry. He is no better than a Taliban-infested nutjob except that his nutjob area is that of fundamentalist Christianity, the counterpart of fundamentalist Islam, both of them dreadful hells on earth for those who are not the lawgivers, i.e. Ayatollah Kohmeineh and Rick Santorum. Rick Santorium doesn't even belong in America as far as I am concerned. He has no respect for our values, our separation of church and state and the specific refusal to support any religion above any other, that when ignored creates a fertile ground for intolerance, civil war, regressive theocratic ideology which has no place in the modern world in governing people. Not real people. Santorium need to become history. let him enter a monastery and take orders. He's created enough children, the last one being a special needs child. Time to stop, Rick. Go contemplate in your cav e and quit trying to dictate how the rest of us will live our lives.
I bet you were an outsideere in Congress. I wouldn't brag ab out it if I were you.
After Paul VI stacked the deck and issued his encyclical Humanae Vitae which made the work of the Vatican commission worthless and moot--several Catholic theologians, educators, and leaders signed a letter of dissent which led some of them to receive repudiation from Church authorities and economic pressure from loss of livelihood. My cousin was one of these who was removed from a teaching position because the local cardinal suggested the university that employed him would not want a dissenter teaching students and future priests. To his credit, although a cleric himself, he would not accept their attempt to cut off his salary, which for the first time was included in a contract signed by him and the university. He collected his salary by mail while searching for a new position which he found at another more independent school. I continue to be proud of his and others unusual, for the times, activism. As long as the current pope continues to appoint cardinals of his particular persuasion, we will get popes like him who will appoint more cardinals like him etc etc. In a related issue, I think it is time the various candidates take a united position and denounce religious attacks on each other. The Constitution provides that there be no religious test for public office. Yes, I am sober.
The most intelligent life on this planet is women, men are stronger, not smarter. That being said, I have a question for the women that support Santorum, why on earth would you support a man that thinks you're too stupid to run your own lives and that he needs to teach you what to do and how to do it. I have been married for 29 years and the only thing I know about women is, don't make them mad, but I'm good at it, I can make my wife mad at me without knowing how I did it. All of my friends know nothing about women as well, we talk but nobody has an answer, except Santorum, from women's health needs to religion and right through to education, he has all the answers a woman needs. This man has a very serious mental problem. None of his ideas fit the world we live in today. It's almost seems like he really believe the old, old adage, keep them barefoot and pregnant. Somebody wrote that he is moving so far right that he will soon fall off a cliff, maybe we should keep quiet and let him fall.
Pat and Marcoo: Too very enlightening posts.
Republicans are not interested in jobs they are only interested in forcing all Americans to live by republican catholic Sharia law.
In Virginia they are okay with forcing a proceedure which is equal to rape for their church?
No wonder our founding fathers wrote the separation of church and state into our constitution. Too bad the republicans seem to have forgotten that part of the constitution.
Why is it that birth control is a problem for the church and molestation is hidden. No one is too concern about the hypocrisy - Birth Control pills are used for many medical problems. The Republican's need to get over themselves and so does the self righteous ones!!!!
The Church leaders and the Republicans both have a very condescending attitude toward females, even women who are mature and have multiple advanced degrees and professional careers. They want to cut down the status of women tomake them breeding machines with no control over their own bodies and destinies. In other words, slaves.
That makes these creeps who know nothing about true manhood feel really superior and good about their superior knowledge by treading on others. That's the common definition of a bully: A coward who doesn't want to pick on anyone their own size, but pprefers to weakest, physically and financially. Rick Sanitorum to a "T." I'm glad America is finally waking up to what this nutjob really stands for he is dangerous.
President Obama needs to put "Satan Santorum" in his place. The very important role of the President is too defend ALL of our citizens. From the Tea Begger "Super Spewing" being done by "Sanitorium Santorum." This a Confederate States Of America Political Puker who is living in the 1850's. This very "Mentaly Ill" individual is religiously intolerant, ethically intolerant, UnAmerican, Unpatriotic, and very Congitively Disabled. He is continuing to make the case that he needs to be sent to the nearest Sanitarium! Hey! Hey! Ho! Ho! The Party Of NO has got to go!!
The GOP is the party continually blathering on about "getting government out of our lives!", yet they keep coming up with one thing after another which directly legislates aspects of our lives. How can the party of smaller less intrusive government justify blabbering on about this stuff.
Santorum wants to legislate what happens in our bedrooms. Santorum wants to legislate away the rights and freedoms of our mothers and wives and daughters. Santorum wants to control our lives to such an extent that I hereby lable him dangerous. He seeks to foment trouble by slyly intimating that Obama is not a Christian. Or that Obama is a muslim, or that Obama is making war on the church.
No, its you that are evil Santorum, its you that would hex us!, you're a devil, I cast salt in your eye devil, Go!
Yep that's coming Progrssive=Forward 11: The President thought it was Mitt he was going to run againist but now he gets to turn his fire to women get in line Santorum. It should be nice to see him cut-him up too.
Jeffrey, I wish we could all have a victory party next November when Obama chases those vermin into the underground. Or where they ought to be.
I'm waiting for Santorum to show up with Randal Terry in tow...I could sell tickets to that circus.
President Obama is the only person to bring this country back from insanity. We need to get rid of the insane Republicans.
they still want to give super rich more of the tax payer money.
In todays paper if you make more than 6500.00 a year no food stamps I would to see any of the Republicans feed them self and live on 6500.00 a year
No problem. Just pal up with another Republican and have them write it off on their fat expense account.
Either that or give up conventional housing, move into your car, and master the art of dumpster diving.
They have no clue what low income (and yes! many working!) people are going through to feed themselves, and more importantly their children. Totally clueless.
Ignorant bliss is a necessity if you are self-righteous.
The "inevitable nominee" for the GOP: A chicken hawk, multimillionaire Morman cultist who believes that he will one day attain godhood and populate his own world with his spirit babies, that Jesus Christ and Satan are twin brothers, and who wears magic underwear, etc. Bye, bye, GOP. You just lost your last ounce of credibility as the party that was supposedly the champion of Christianity and morality. What a joke. And people are calling President Obama the anti-Christ! What! Notice that no one is even mentioning what the cult of Morman believes in and why they are NOT Christians or Catholics. They are an absolutely heretical cult by every definition. SHEEP. "Baa, Baa."
Hey don't knock the Mormon church. They helped Romney dodge military service, after he *dropped out* of college....
Like many hawkish politicians of his generation, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney managed to avoid serving in the Vietnam War through family connections. The young Romney could not use a student deferment from the draft -- having dropped out of Stanford University after only two semesters -- but avoided service anyway with the assistance of the Mormon elders.
The son of George Romney, then Michigan's governor, he was one of a limited number of Mormon youth chosen as missionaries -- a status that protected him from the draft between July 1966 and February 1969 as a "minister of religion or divinity student."
Essentially, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints re-routed Romney from Vietnam to the south of France, where he served as missionary.
Sco: And none of his children have served in the military either. Guess it is nice to have "religion" and money that lets them avoid serving the country that Mitt wants to run!
Jeffrey Liebman estimated that Romney's proposals to boost both corporate tax cuts and defense spending -- plus relatively muted spending cuts -- would raise the deficit to at least 6 percent of GDP in 2016. He said the same number could be as high as ""7, 8, 9 percent of GDP" for Santorum.
Obama's proposal, his team says, would reduce the deficit to just 3 percent of GDP in the same year.
^ But this can't be true. Because the GOP is the party of fiscal responsibility.
We know this is true because they say so, even though their history proves the opposite.
Even though the numbers behind their own proposals proves the opposite.
Anyway, based upon blind faith in numbers that don't add up, i'm voting for Michelle Bachman.
She's the only candidate who can reduce gas prices to $2 a gallon, again...because she says so, that's how! :)
^ I wonder if they can be persuaded to re-route Romney away from politics?
Or is it just military service they oppose?
Apparently mittens does not read the leading economic indicators. More denial and spin from the party of lies.
Obama 2012.
It's useful to see a comparision of Romney -Santorum economic plans. This quickreview bythe white house posted here isn't enough to do the job. That's inpart, because thetwo front runner's haven't been very specific inproviding a narrative statement ofwhere theywant to see the country in statisical terms. Where should we be interms of export 5 years from now-andhow dowe get there?
Another area ofconcern is tax reform. If companiesmarket share is indeed tied to thetax code as alleged, and thetax codechanges-the what happens to these companies market position both natioanlly and internationally? If the only reason they were sucessful is because of thet ax code, and that is taken away-what happens to the companies and thejobs?Further-what happens to the copnies thatmade investments under the old rules andare now cought half way through the replacement cycle-theycan't automatically reset to zero.
Sen tom Coborn has issuedsome retprs ontax reform that answers inpart some of the questions, but morequestiona are raised than answered becuaehetalks in terms of tav rates and revunue raising and takingaways than the competitve edge.
In dded there is no analysis,Democrat or Republican that shows specifically area by area where taxes give competitve edge-as opposed to a technogy edge. If fact itmightberywell be the opposite-the deductablityof higheurpoeantaxes could give some companiesa lower US tax rate-that transaltes into moreshareholder dividends-but shareholders will never undestndt hat becuase a ll they see is a bigger check without knowing why.
Comanies too are loath to advertise that their edge come from the thumb on the scale of taxes istead of their own efforts. Theyrelize their competition wil lquickly put pressure to counte act
As Joe Scaraborogh likes to observe"congressman-allwe are asking fo is a level playing field".
And no one reallyasks: With $2.3 trillion inthe bank and the DOW at 13,000 why theyneed tax breaks atall? If they are doingsowell-whydo theyneed more?
No GOP parrots out singing on this issue huh? Guess they havent got their check yet.
America was a great and generous country. It is comprised of men and women who sin and fall short of the expectations of God. Our country has worked towards addressing past racial transgressions using affirmative action, social promotion and cradle to grave welfare. The outcome of over fifty year’s effort, spending twelve trillion dollars on the “War on Poverty” has been a dismal failure. We have created nothing but a multigenerational welfare state. The problem, Mr. Wright, is that you spend all your efforts living in the past, creating and fostering racial hatred. The many years of Affirmation Action, Social Promotion, and cradle to grave welfare state made no difference in the percentage of the population who are considered “poor”. Mr. Wright, you and other like-minded socialists instead of encouraging “people to be the best they can be,” blame your shortcomings and lack of success on others. You have committed the worst sin of all, telling the youth not to strive for excellence, since “Whitey” will not let you succeed. This philosophy of revenge and being victims due to race has caused many not to strive and achieve the American Dream. Instead they expect and demand the Federal Government provide their earthly needs. It is better to be a fundamentalist, regardless of wealth and station in life and later have an eternal mansion in Heaven. A short Godly life lacking material wealth is greatly superior to living a thousand years with wealth and power as an agent for Lucifer. Mr. Wright has greatly failed as a minister for God, but is Satan’s superstar. It will be easier for a camel to pass thought an eye of a needle, than he and his parishioners to make it to heaven. They(Obama’s) regularly attended church, wore their finest Sunday clothes and heard the Black Liberation rants of a racist madman. They did go to church, the wrong one!
What is your thoughts for correcting this problem nazarite?
gateway- walking in the ways of the Lord will solve many problems!
Judge yeah not, unless yeah be judged! Have you ever attended mr. wrights church? If not whatever you have heard is hearsay or shaped talk. Dont do it.
So they are libertarians that want free handouts?
nazrite, stop drinking crazy sauce. Religion has no place in law or policy, and if you feel differently, move to Iran. The united states was founded by people who saw the corruption in the church and has freed us of their tyranny, you are certainly free to walk whatever path you want. You are NOT free to tell me what path to walk or anyone else for that matter. That Franklin Graham lowered himself to such a level is a disgusting misuse of his position.
The Black Liberations’ ( Michelle O., Barack O., and Jeremiah Wrong,) believe God will lead only blacks to the Promised Land. Don’t they know they are already here! America was once a land of milk and honey, a shining beacon of light spreading justice, freedom and opportunity throughout the land. In the Exodus, God led Moses and the Israelites from Egypt as slaves to the “Promised Land”. The Jews were led to a place of ‘milk and honey”. Unlike the Black Liberationist, they knew that only hard work would milk flow and honey had to be found and collected. They are destroying their “promised land” by many being a “Taker” and their misguided unduly political support of the Progressives. “Being Christian does not mean following in his (Jesus) steps”. (Black Theology and Black POWER, PAGE 139(3). If African American’s who descended from slaves had a choice, would they rather live here or in the dark Sahara? Let’s check our immigration records of American’s moving to Africa. My conversation with a Black Liberationist:
Fred C. Dobbs
"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the
goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people,
then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is
to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community ... Black theology will
accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white
enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the
power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at
their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must
reject his love."! - Thu Aug 25, 2011 4:16 PM EDT
My response - Love and black Power, sounds like an orgy to me. There is only one God as I had one mother and a father. Just because I seldom get my way, or given gratis, or put on easy street; doesn't mean that God or my parents were unjust. God is of the spirit and as such is not in tune with one eating Kobe Steaks, drinking fine wines, living in a mansion or driving a nice car. All these material things are thus irrelevant to God. Your God is that of envy, anger, jealously, conceit and revenge. Good Luck with that! If you think Allah will make you prosperous, Go for it!!
Good luck with your job as an investigator, nazarite. Seems that you are todays parrot.
full of bull - thanks for reading my material and our unfounded evil support of the Obamanation. It is the actual words of a black liberationists. I had to make them angry for the truth to exit their fingers.
You would know a black liberationists if he or she kicked you in your shin. God luck on your lost endeavor loser.
Can't reason with some people -
The nut job President of Iran, Ah mad in ejd thinks by causing mass destruction and turmoil on earth it will foster the return of the twelfth Imam. This Imam after rising out of a well will cure all the ills and problems on earth. It would be like a Moslem fairyland. The leaders of Iran reason that losing seven million of their countrymen is a good outcome to vaporize seven million Jews. Ah mad thinks that is a fair trade. Hey, we have seventy million, they have seven million. Losing one Iranian to kill one Jew is no problem! On a one to one comparison, Ah mad has plenty of Iranians to spare.
