This is starting to get good...

A paper tiger vs. Mr. 'Sweater Vest Rodgers'! lol

Meanwhile, over in the house, the lead fem-nazi is holding hearings on women, health care & contraceptives, without a single women being allowed to testify!

I would ask if Mr. Issa is that out of touch but he & his ilk are not even attempting to hide their misogyny these days!

Unbelievable!

Misogyny is a central plank in the platform of the GOP these days, sadly. Asking women to weigh in on the Republican Party's hateful policies is like asking a mugging victim to offer her opinion on the personal values of the mugger. The GOP therefore does not want women to voice their opinions for obvious reasons.

Feisty--I would not compare Rick Santorum with Mr. Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a gentle and kind person who respected others, even if they weren't like him. He taught children that they should be kind, caring, compassionate, and tolerant toward others. Nothing like Mr. Santorum, the absolute antithesis of gentle, kind and compassionate! Other than that, spot on!

You got that right Feisty......not one woman was invited to testify. Not one person who had an opposing view was invited either.

Darrel Issa, is nothing but a brain dead ideologue as is his party. Since becoming chairman. he has done nothing to better the country. Just calling these idiotic committee meetings to further a political agenda.

Feisty--the only thing Mr. Rogers and Santorum have in common is a connection with Western Pennsylvania. Mr. Rogers was more of a cardigan guy than sweater vests, too.

Seriously, Mr. Rogers taught tolerance and accepting people for who they are. I have not seen these attributes in Santorum.

JK---let's see a comparison between the President & Tiger Woods

President----happily married family man. Tiger----not

President---plays golf maybe once per week Tiger---golfs for a living

President---African-American -----Oh, JK now I see where you are going with this. Very clever of you to get a two-fer. Feigned outrage over any time that the President takes for relaxation (despite that time being equal to what other Presidents have done) and a racist remark as well.

Steeler Fan,

Nice that you throw the race card out there... I see that your bigotry knows no bounds. My comment was simply a comparison of your co-horts of comparing Santorum's waredrobe (sweater vest) to Mr. Rodgers (sweater vest). Nothing more, nothing less...if you people start making idoitic comparisons then it should be free game to compare others the same way, no? As for race, Tiger was the first name to come to mind...would you prefer I used Phil Mickelson instead? Or perhaps Jack Nickalus, or perhaps Tom Watson, or well...you tell me what golfer to use that is politically correct in your bigoted world to use, ok?

More great news! What a wonderful day!!

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau on Thursday sought to bring debt collectors and credit bureaus under its purview, marking the first time the often controversial industries would be subject to federal supervision.

Under its proposed rule, the CFPB would oversee the nation’s largest debt collectors, the primary credit reporting agencies such as Experian, Equifax and TransUnion, and other lesser-known consumer reporting agencies. It is the first attempt by the watchdog agency to define which businesses in the vast swath of nontraditional financial institutions will be subject to the same examination process as banks

Think they'll be as good as the CFTC, you know, the government regulation agency that saw MF Global collapse?

      Source: http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/02/01/us-mfglobal-cftc-policy-idUSTRE8102IV20120201

What's interesting with the Left is they think because the government says they will do something, that the regulation will actually get done. As seen with MF Global, these "regulators" are actually part of the scam. If the you can't regulate an obvious sham like MF Global, there is no way you're ever going to regulate all the debt collectors and credit bureaus.

So Libs, I like your enthusiasm, I question your judgement.

So sw, you have regulations, and bureaucracies to run them, and they both have a track record of failure. Either you have regulations that work, or you don't. And with the 8th largest bankruptcy (MF Global) in history, so goes your proof of how well the regulations have workerd. But keep cheering the regulators philly, they'll get one right sooner or later. So if you have regulations and regulators that are supposed to make sure these firms don't fail, but they still do, what good are they?

Take the blinders off and face some reality sw.

      PEN: Our judgment?

Yeah, your judgement. It's poor. Still on your "Bush kick" I see. You would think 3+ years in you'd face the reality of the situation, but I guess you choose to live in the past. You really have nothing else.

No, I refused to live in the past. Today, GM made a big roar courtesy, Obama's bailout. Today, unemployment claim down to 4yr low. There's economy recovery buzz everywhere and so deafening it is, RWNJs ran out of talking point. All these and more are recent happenings.

They paid back the money they owe the taxpayers?

PEN: There's economy recovery buzz everywhere and so deafening

You must be listening to some other roar. GDP growth projections for 2012 are an unsteady 2%, which is a teeny-tiny roar at best. The roar you may hear is from car owners where gas prices are projected in the $4/$5 range by spring. Obama is asking for another $1.3 Trillion in debt, on top of his other $5 trillion from the previous three years, that roar you hear there are from our children and grand-children who will have to pay for it.

PEN: Keep up your fight against women...........Looser.

In fairness to the media, until recently Mitt Romney was the consistent "front runner" in the National Polls. Sure, a new candidate would rise sharply, come close to Romney, tie or lead slightly but quickly fell back down. When Santorum proves he has durability and momentum, he'll be the "front runner".

Romney has been greatly successful in the business realm, but he has experience more failure than successful as politician. The truth be told, he is an elitist who think that it is turn to be president, but destiny has charted another course for this campaign. Sorry Mitt you have to wait until 2016 or 2020. Maybe he should try taking a Dale Carnegie Course, it help him will freinds and influence people.
