I do not like Chuck Todd or his politics, he belongs at Fox not MSNBC.
dembarb...I really don't understand your comment. Chuck is always on the ball, asks President Obama tough questions, and is always professional - just the opposite of FOX.
i agree. he can take david gregory and joe scarboro with him!
Chuck Todd toes the liberal line 99% of the time, he is by all accounts trying out for Obama Press Secretary
...and that's not biased enough for you moonbats?
If you desire 100% howling moonbat, all the time, why not put the egomanicial far leftist zealot Rachel Madcow on , 24/7 ?
Journalists who don't show a political leaning are best, or a mix (remember when it was Hannity and Colmes, ha), and of course a panel, preferably split equally and well moderated. I hate it when a right-wing bully is allowed to talk over everyone else. That's the real problem, lack of good moderation, follow-up questions, and most of all disputing the non-stop lies.
The other night Chis Matthews had a Republican strategist on (forgot his name), but the guy just spewed one talking point lie after another. Chris would have had to stop the guy after every sentence and dispute what he said, but that would have taken up the entire program. Also, when this happens, the anchor person doesn't have a clip on hand to the contrary. Unless he/she can prepare in advance on the talking points expected, my thought was never invite that douche-bag strategist back. Have a policy that if you come on a show and lie non-stop you won't be invited back -- The show can't be a free forum for propaganda.
I like input from Steve Schmidt and others. Todd and Gregory just need to do a better job of "equal" presentation that sticks to the facts, not personal opinion of their own or their guests. We need the Fairness Doctrine brought back.
dembarb, I think Chuck Todd is an excellent journalist.
Chuckie Todd, the walking, talking mouth for the MSNBC Obama SuperPac. Have you ever heard him ask Obama anything but a 'softball' question?
Breaking news! The 2012 political sea change has begun:
On Tuesday, Democrat Chris Johnson won the special election in Senate District 20, defeating Rep. Dana Dow of Waldoboro. For Johnson, of Sommerville, this victory comes on his second try for the seat. In explaining the loss, Dow had this:
Hahahahahahahahha! Chuckie Todd, a member of the Obama Media SuperPac always asks the President the tough questions!!!!! How funny is that?
Maybe Chuckie can have a MSNBC scoop by asking Barry about the situation with the Chicago bath house membership and the investigation into the death of the Choir Leader from his former church that reported to have a relationship with Obama.
