Obama and Mitt are one in the same, part 5006:

What's the deal with Obama's huge flippity-flpo over super pacs?

How much video is out there of Obama saying how terribly evil and horrible super pacs are?

So the simple take away is - 'I couldn't beat 'em, so I joined 'em."

What's next - Obama going to surround himself with only 1%-ers?

Oh, wait, never mind.

NDD,

I heard that! In my opinion the entire board should resign, it might go a long way in restoring some of Komen's tarnished credibility!

I'd also like to know when Romney is going to release the rest of his tax returns.

Good question SF!

Me thinks they will not be forthcoming anytime soon. It is rumored Willard paid 0 income tax in some of the previous years...

Why won't his handlers let Willard off his leash?

Why? Because Romney says really stupid things when off leash. Poor people, pink slips, firing people... I wouldn't be surprised if Romney chimed in with one of his "jokes" by saying, "I LOVE poor people, they taste just like chicken!"

Romney off leash would chase his own tail, catch it, and then bleed to death as a result of the wound he dealt himself.

The closest Mitt Romney should come to being "Off Leash" is jammed into an air tight crate and strapped to the roof of a station wagon.

Interesting story from Reuters below. I guess my question is when is the FBI going to say anything about the countless assaults on law enforcement that have already been committed by Obama's Occupying anarchists. Just a couple days ago a DC cop was hit in the face by a brick.

(Reuters) - Anti-government extremists opposed to taxes and regulations pose a growing threat to local law enforcement officers in the United States, the FBI warned on Monday.

These extremists, sometimes known as "sovereign citizens," believe they can live outside any type of government authority, FBI agents said at a news conference.

The extremists may refuse to pay taxes, defy government environmental regulations and believe the United States went bankrupt by going off the gold standard.

Routine encounters with police can turn violent "at the drop of a hat," said Stuart McArthur, deputy assistant director in the FBI's counterterrorism division.

"We thought it was important to increase the visibility of the threat with state and local law enforcement," he said.

In May 2010, two West Memphis, Arkansas, police officers were shot and killed in an argument that developed after they pulled over a "sovereign citizen" in traffic.

Last year, an extremist in Texas opened fire on a police officer during a traffic stop. The officer was not hit.

Legal convictions of such extremists, mostly for white-collar crimes such as fraud, have increased from 10 in 2009 to 18 each in 2010 and 2011, FBI agents said.

"We are being inundated right now with requests for training from state and local law enforcement on sovereign-related matters," said Casey Carty, an FBI supervisory special agent.

FBI agents said they do not have a tally of people who consider themselves "sovereign citizens."

J.J. MacNab, a former tax and insurance expert who is an analyst covering the sovereign movement, has estimated that it has about 100,000 members.

Sovereign members often express particular outrage at tax collection, putting Internal Revenue Service employees at risk.

What a joke. More propaganda and deflection from the obama regime. All they can do is continue to paint conservatives as racist and violent lunatics for wanting a balanced budget. Just another free pass for lefty liberals.

Maybe if he releases all of his returns we will find out he donated more than 10% of his gross income to charity while Obama donated less than 1% all of those years. That would be a good comparison of Obama putting his money where is mouth is.

Pat - In response to a glittering Romney quipped, "Oh I've got glitter in my hair. That's not all that's in my hair, I'll tell you that. I glue it on every morning, whether I need to or not."

As I've said in the past, this is very unfortunate. The updated model of the Pander Bot comes with hair installed, there is no need for burdensome personal hygiene subprograms. Romney has the funds to get the upgrade, but I guess his programming makes him partial to hair that needs to be glued on every day.

The Romney campaign is already downplaying Minnesota. As for when Mitt releases more taxes, he probably won't until he's the official nominee and then he will probably be forced to or face the same criticism as he did when his fellow candidates brought it up--over and over.

Also heard that Karen Handel will quit. Good but I agree, too little, too late. As far as I'm concerned, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Race for the Cure will get no more donations from me. There are many excellent cancer foundations that do not play politics; those will receive my support as will Planned Parenthood.

Rob, sorry but your ramblings don't even make sense. OWS isn't Obama's anything, if that were true, why are there republicans and tea party folks in the crowd, why do they occupy offices of democrats as well as republicans, why do they appear outside Obama speaking venues? Contrary to what the right claims on FOX and elsewhere, it is not just democrats who are participating. Have a good day.

"More propaganda and deflection from the obama regime."

Rob is conveniently ignoring the sad fact that the right wing lunatic fringe is acting out its hateful fantasies by pretending that authority figures are somehow evil characters intent on destroying their way of life, such as it is. This ridiculous impression is being supported by the nonsense spewed by FOX News, Limbaugh, and their ilk, and the enormous disrespect and shameless behavior of major national Republican figures is encouraging that attitude, as well. The far right is marginalizing itself through its words and behavior, and the tragic deaths and injuries of these law enforcement officers are more nails in the coffin of the right's failed political ideology.

Also, how is Obama responsible for an article in a British news service? Pull yourself together. You're embarrassing yourself.

So because Komen stands firm to its principles and withholds $650,000 in grants to Planned Parenthood, the progressives everywhere use women's health as a political tool and stops donating to an organization dedicated to eliminating breast cancer. While planned parenthood, which earns over $160 million each and every year performing abortions is somehow the victim. While on the other hand, if a pro life person makes any protestations over the work, planned parenthood does, somehow that is politicizing a woman's health and we are supposed to be cognizant of all the other great work planned parenthood does. This rally to attack Koman is just downright offensive and is exactly the type of effort the left cant stand when the hard core conservative right does it to them. What a bunch of hypocrits. This is why charities should funded solely by private donations and the government should stay out of it. Woman's health is extremely important but not any more important than children's charities, cancer charities, AIDs, mens health etc and the government should allow individuals the freedom and private foundations the freedom to fund who they want without this venom.

There's a huge difference between standing firm on ones principles and jumping on the Teabagger Witchhunt Train...which was exactly what Komen did. The investigation into Planned Parenthood is nothing but a witchhunt, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least to find out that Komen was bowing to political pressure.

Mickey so what? You realize the outcry from the far left when the right politicizes anything to do with women's health issues right? You dont see the hypocrisy? Come on wake up. How is the investigation into Planned Parenthood a witch hunt? There have been real issues of incest, sexual molestation etc that have intentionally not been reported and those are facts that arent in dispute but because of the power of the planned parenthood lobby and the abortion on demand politics of the left, anyone who has an issue with them gets demonized. I personally am pro choice but can fully respect the opinions of the pro life crowd at least on some level (maybe not down to the stem cell crowd but on some level).

You lose all credibility when you throw in the teabagger comment because you are just making labels that you would hate if everyone called the OWS crowd some scummy ridiculous name to describe them everytime. Besides thats politicizing health issues because lets say that Komen actually is jumping on the fiscal sanity, pro life bandwagon--you do realize thats a legitimate principle right? You might disagree with it but its still a principle and I think they should have the ability to make that choice without being demonized and actually having more harm than good being done. This is no different than someone labeling an AIDs charity a gay disease and then rounding up the troops to stop private funding for them. Can you imagine the outcry from the left progressives on this board?

[Mickey so what? You realize the outcry from the far left when the right politicizes anything to do with women's health issues right? You dont see the hypocrisy?]

So you're against Komen pulling back based on "your" principles? While it may be "hypocrisy" in your ideological, emotional mind it still is what it is...part of a Teabagger witch hunt. If you're "outraged" just because you want to prove something is hypocritical you, like the others here, are wasting your time. But hey, that is your right to do so.

I notice you also like to muddy the waters with terms like "fiscal sanity" and "demonize" while making asinine analogies about OWS and AIDS charities which is your right to do so, but don't piss down my back and tell me its raining, which is EXACTLY what you are doing.

If you want to justify the witch hunts in your mind, have at it.

#1.25 - Tue Feb 7, 2012 3:49 PM EST

Witch hunts is only a term that means you disagree with the politics right? So is it a witch hunt when the left demonizes any issue or is that just being legitimate? I dont have any Komen principles and personally could care less if they pulled the funding or give it back. I was offended by the idea that a bunch of women are boycotting or pulling funding from Komen based on their political principles and thought wow. It is the same as the AIDs analogy and you know it. Their is nothing emotional or idealogical about this in my mind because I personally think the government shouldnt be funding any charities whether planned parenthood or American Cancer Society. It has nothing to do with the abortion issue and all to do with the fact that its taxpayer money and we all can decide on our personal side which charity is most important to us.

Tell me again what part of not reporting incest, rape and child molestation is a witch hunt by the way and why that has anything to do with the Teaparty? Am I missing something? I thought Komen pulled funding because of the state attorney investigations in various states because planned parenthood violated the law and that Komen by policy pulls funding if thats the case. If they pulled it for the abortion issue and it was established policy that Komen doesnt fund entities that provide abortions I would respect that too regardless of my personal beliefs so I dont get the witch hunt and tea party references.

[I thought Komen pulled funding because of the state attorney investigations in various states because planned parenthood violated the law...]

There is no evidence that Planned Parenthood has violated the law...Tea Party Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Fla.) is bound and determined to find a link between abortions and Planned Parenthood using public funds. This is why he is spearheading the witch hunt. The Hyde Amendment was passed in order to ensure that NO public funds go to abortions:

First Mickey, I am sure you are smarter than letting these articles be the basis of calling it a witchhunt right? According to the USA Today article today, it was based on all the investigations not just the federal investigation. They are being investigated in various states for failure to report bad things which I already listed. Second, although I dont agree with the federal investigation as I think its politically motivated no different than any democrat or GOP legislature doing something to benefit their party, but lets face it, the idea that federal funds arent being used for abortion is a budgetary silly gimmick. Everyone knows it and its another reason why federal funds shouldnt be given to charitable organizations picking one over another. You do realize that cash is fungible right? So all they have to do is earmark enough private contributions for abortions to cover whatever is needed while earmarking all federal funding to non abortion services but it comes out of the same pot. Its like saying you were going to tell your wife that any money she makes she can spend it on what she wants and she tells you that you must not spend any of her money that she makes for the family on strippers and booze but only on food. So you decide to take a bigger portion of your paycheck to spend on strippers and booze and let the rest go to food. Do you really think it makes a difference on how many strippers and booze you buy because your wife doesnt allow you to use her money on it. If she doesnt make enough to fund the food, my guess is you have to cut down on the strippers and booze to pay for the food right or you go get a second job. But the family income is still the same and if you took all the money and put it in the same family bank account do you really think it makes a difference on how many strippers and booze you buy? Come on everyone understands the budget gimmicks but that is no reason to start an investigation as its currently a legally allowed budget gimmick so he needs to drop it.

Listening to the faux outrage from repubicans about the Obama Campaign decision to participate in Super PAC's is ridiculously funny. Geez, they sound foolish; whining that Obama is doing what they're doing--priceless. Where was their outrage about Romney or Gingrich's Super PAC or, just as with their "deficits don't matter", do the rules only apply when it is a democrat.

While I do not support the concept of Super PACs, hate what the Supreme Court did to the election process, I at least recognize that nothing will or can be done by a gridlocked Congress to change the system between now and November and that what was done was necessary to at least try to level the playing field. Sometimes principles must be outweighed by logic and fact. The fact is that the GOP is raising millions of dollars from secret donors, they need not bother expressing outrage at President Obama for doing the same.

Our founding fathers provided a remedy (The Constitutional Convention) should our government ever become as dysfunctional as it is today. It is time that remedy is exercised. A bribe, is a bribe, is a bribe, coercion, is coercion, is coercion. For The Common Good - is a term that has totally been obliterated from our national political system. No one can focus on the common good when they are being bribed and/or coerced to do otherwise. Politicians focusing on the common good will only return when bribery and coercion are no longer allowed. When all entities/persons are allowed to each spend no more than $100.00 each year on political issues. No change will occur by voting out the current legislators and leaving a corrupt system intact. No change will occur until “on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, (The Congress) shall call a convention for proposing amendments” (To this Constitution) . . . shall be valid . . . when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three-fourths thereof, a no bribery and no coercion amendment is included in The Constitution of the United States of America. Go to: www.manifestry.info > Constitutional Convention - to see the procedure by which this may be brought to occur, starting with one local government at a time. That the Super Pacs are unfair is a given. Now what are WE going to do about it, because THEY are not going to do anything about it. Go to: www . manifestry . info > Constitutional Convention - to see the procedure by which we can bring about change, starting with one local government at a time
