These news shows should get some Reps from Illinois and quiz them on how they recommend to erase the 800 million deficit the state faces. How about some real reporting on current issues facing the voters this year.

MSNBC is the official reelection network of the Obama team.

Newt cited Obama's radical connections to Saul Alinsky.recently..the media reaction?

    Shhh....

The only mention was a defense by CNN Obama poodle Soledad O'Brien, who said it wasnt true, because Obama said so! How is that for hard hitting journalism?

Newt cited Obama's radical connections to Saul Alinsky recently...

Really? What connection would that be?

...and please keep in mind, Alinsky died in 1972 when the President was only 10.

I'm sure it is too much to ask as it would require reader comprehension and using a few non-existent brain cells, but educate yourself.

States without budget shortfalls seem to surprisingly be the states that receive more federal spending then federal taxes paid and those states that have budget shortfalls are ones that receive less federal spending then federal taxes paid. Maybe we should give those subsidizing states like Illinois, $1 of federal spending for every $1 of federal taxes paid and that would go a long way to closing that budget shortfall.

maybe we shoulld dig into in order to discover what Obama did as an Illinois state Senator to balance the state budget or break the bank since he was such a successful community organizer.

            Buck:

You're right, we should build a refinery in Illinois and distribute product from there. That's much preferrable to running a pipeline cross country to ship it worldwide. US jobs and promotes energy independence. Good suggestion! Please write Boehner, Cantor, and McConnell with your idea - I'm sure it will be appreciated.

I will defer to Betty aka carrot top, to write her Congressman, heck she should write Obama he is from Chiacgo. It is her state that is in big financial trouble not mine.

I am always amazed at the complaints on who is appearing on what show. Common sense people! MSNBC schedules people their viewers want to see to promote their ratings. The same can be said of Fox, CNN and any other network.

Geez, get a life people. Don't want to see the guests scheduled here? Turn the channel!

Obama of course knew well his neighbor, unrepetent terrorist Bill Ayers...Obama did not know Alinsky personally, but was an acolyte of his...he taught the radical Alinsky's teachings as a radical "community organizer-agitator"

In a letter to the editor of The Boston Globe published on August 31, 2008, Alinsky's son David gushed about how well Obama had learned his father's teachings, as displayed at the Democratic National Convention:

ALL THE elements were present: the individual stories told by real people of their situations and hardships, the packed-to-the rafters crowd, the crowd's chanting of key phrases and names, the action on the spot of texting and phoning to show instant support and commitment to jump into the political battle, the rallying selections of music, the setting of the agenda by the power people. The Democratic National Convention had all the elements of the perfectly organized event, Saul Alinsky style.

Barack Obama's training in Chicago by the great community organizers is showing its effectiveness. It is an amazingly powerful format, and the method of my late father always works to get the message out and get the supporters on board. When executed meticulously and thoughtfully, it is a powerful strategy for initiating change and making it really happen. Obama learned his lesson well.

I am proud to see that my father's model for organizing is being applied successfully beyond local community organizing to affect the Democratic campaign in 2008.

Do you seriously believe the repubs don't use the same tactics? All politicians do it. The repub PR specialists are well versed in Alinsky tactics and use them better than Obama.

Just look at your own postings. It's all there for everyone to see.
