Sarah Palin on Tuesday urged South Carolina voters to support Newt Gingrich in their GOP presidential primary, offering the closest thing to an endorsement the former Alaska governor may come before this weekend's contest.
“If I had to vote in South Carolina, in order to keep this thing going, I’d vote for Newt and I would want this to continue,” Palin said during a FOX News interview Tuesday night.
Her support for the former House speaker, however, was somewhat qualified. Palin said she believed it would be best for the primary campaign to continue, so as to continue to add scrutiny to candidates and forge their strength as an eventual nominee against President Obama.
“More debates, more vetting of candidates because we know the mistake made in our country four years ago was having a candidate that was not vetted, to the degree that he should have been,” Palin explained. “I want to see that taking place this time because America is on this precipice — it’s that important. We need this process to continue."
“We think its a pretty darn clear call to arms,” Gingrich campaign spokesman R.C. Hammond told NBC News shortly after Palin made these comments this evening.
The conservative vote in South Carolina remains split between Gingrich, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum and Texas Gov. Rick Perry going into the closing days before the Jan. 21 primary in the state.
Each has been rallying voters behind their candidacy as the conservative alternative to Mitt Romney, the former Massachusetts governor who would see as the heavy favorite to win the nomination if he were to score a victory in South Carolina.
“If you consolidate the three conservative candidates, we clearly would have a huge margin over Romney, and the challenge for me is to convince conservatives to come home and have a single candidate on Saturday,” Gingrich told a crowd in Florence, S.C. today.
Palin offered words of flattery for Gingrich beyond her support this weekend, crowning him the winner of a Monday night debate. Her husband, Todd Palin, has formally endorsed Gingrich for president.
"Newt Gingrich is a true leader, which he has proven not only since the beginning of his campaign, but throughout his career,” Todd Palin said in a written statement sent out by the Gingrich campaign on Jan. 9.
It is still unknown if either Palin will actually campaign for Speaker Gingrich on the trail.

Well Gingrich has just lost a ton of votes.
I thought this bimbo's 15 mins were up long ago !
A Palin endorsement is the "kiss of death" to the Gingrich campaign.I see Palin drones heads exploding! ahahahahaahahaha!
There ya go Newtie! A contest of brains and boobs.
She said she would vote for him. Cool.
"To keep things going." Really, Sarah? To continue to expose Newt's racism,, to continue to expose Mitt's elitism, to continue to expose Rick's extreme views on numerous topics? The woman continues to show her own lack of knowledge and common sense. Why would anyone even care what she thinks about anything, and she'd back Newt in SC, but not for the whole campaign? Great job, Fox, keep parading the ignorant and the hateful side of Sarah and others like her, you are doing a great job making sure less and less voters will vote for any of these losers.
My exact thinking! I'm def voting for Romney now!!!!
Maybe she is hoping to be the 4th Mrs. Gingrich.
Newt and Sarah one a reality star and the other a Fannie Mae {historian} these two are both similar in that they spout the conservative line but really it is obvious that they are both in it to rake in the B$E$N$J$A$M$I$NSSSS yeeehah books sales speaking fees and reality shows! My opinion is that Ron Paul is the real deal and a true patriot not looking to make a buck but to turn our country around!
liberty, the only way you will see Paul as Prez is on his own planet. start packing!
BTW: Sara who?
So Palin finally exposes herself for the neocon two-face she really is. She never stood for Tea Party values to begin with. Neocons have been attempting to hijack the real Tea Party movement ever since Ron Paul created it.
Hah, support for Ron Paul is greater now than ever before. The establishment and its drones are clearly terrified of him. The American people are finally beginning to wake up!
Not scared, more like amused.
"...candidate, that was not vetted, to the degree that he should have been,"? Is she talking about McCain? Isn't she the one that was not properly vetted? Palin seems to have a twisted perception of reality. But then again who didn't already know that.
She just wants the primaries to continue occurring, so she has more opportunities to be on television and in the media. Drill baby, drill!!
@starbuck49
Right, that's why the MSM has done everything in its power to manipulate his message and ignore him.
The Tea Party zealots and other aimlessly roving wanna-be's like the brain dead bimbo from Wasilla, Alaska and the geographically and History challenged Michele Bachmann have become a POX on the Republican party. Like a case of the clap that you would rather that none of your friends know about, and is very difficult to rid yourself of, this disease of the Republican Party will last well beyond 2012. Those infected Republicans may find solace at a Leper Colony in India. That might be far enough away from the constant, droning monotone of flubs, missteps, lies and gaffs that the disease presents. Good luck 'Party of Lincoln.' You'll need it...................
Ron Paul - a true patriot of the 19th Century confederacy, looking to turn our country around and revert to bondage. His ideas are not all bad, mostly outdated. Now, if he would only work with others he'd have a better understanding of his narrow views. Besides, his 'wisdom' is better served out of the WH.
Sarah Palin endorsing Newt Gingrich is kind of like John Wayne Gacy endorsing Jeffrey Dahmer.
Spoken like a true 20th century socialist who despises everything this country stands for. Do some research and quit spouting off the same old talking points of the establishment.
As a liberal democrat he has some good ideas that I share with him in terms of minimal government in the social arena, withdrawing from wars and bringing our troops home from all over the world.
Unfortunately he also wants to give the states the ability to outlaw abortions. Thats a deal breaker for me.
I wonder how much Romney paid Palin to do this one? Maybe it will come out in his April Taxes...
Thanks Sarah! For making sure that Gingrich DOES NOT win in South Carolina. I bet Romnney was S***ing a brick about you or GWB endorsing him.
No Greg in New York....Palin is talking about the lack of vetting on Obama, which resulted in the US getting the worst President ever.....out shining even Carter for that distinction. It only took me 10 minutes on the Internet to realize Obama was not Presidential material. But, somehow, the Media couldn't spend 10 minutes of their own to find the same information.
Palin is correct when she says all the candidates would be better than Obama. All have a better track record of accomplishment than the President has. Even she has a better track record than Obama! I know this will be collapsed since all the Palin haters are out in full force today. But you need to think about your hatred......what has it accomplished.......absolutely nothing. Even a better question.....why do you still support the failure we've had for the last 3 years? Most folks would know enough to move on to something else.....
"Palin urges SC voters to support Gingrich in primary"
And of course Sara is a very devout christian, which explains why she would endorse the most righteous of the bunch. ;-\
Everytime she opens her mouth, Independents move one step closer to Obama. Keep talking Sarah!
The only thing that can make this even sweeter is if Bachmann endorses him.
Pot... meet kettle.
Hey, he might pick her for his running 'mate'..... LOL..... They'll be able to see Virginia together from the kitchen window.... LOL......
And the BillyBobs of SC endorse nasty Newt too along with lynching Juan Williams, letting sick people die, blowing up gay military people, and upping the rate of executions a notch or two or three or four....YeeHaw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go Regressives!! Back to the stone age!!
No one asked you, Palin.
Ron Paul is the only liberty and freedom candidate. Obama is a phony. Paul is the change we need. Please research the issues and please love personal liberty.
The Dream Queen has spoken!
The Devil Went Down To
GeorgiaSouth Carolina, looking to make a deal. When she complained about the grave mistake having a candidate not vetted last election she must surly be referring to herself.
She should learn that if you keep your mouth shut people will only be able to guess that your an idiot.
Well, now I know what it sounds like when the other shoe hits the floor.
Hey willow brook..Do you practice being a moron or does it just come naturally ?? The worst president ever was George '@!$%#-for-brains' Bush...Bar none...
“More debates, more vetting of candidates because we know the mistake made in our country four years ago was having a candidate that was not vetted, to the degree that SHE should have been.”
If Palin had said that--and meant herself-- then I could finally agree with her on something. You betcha!
I lost all respect for John McCain, a man I had admired, for choosing her as his running mate in 2008. A true patriot would never have put America at risk of having someone as utterly clueless and unqualified as Palin just a heartbeat away from the presidency.
By the way, why do we care whom she supports?
@IRESPOND, now that was funny, as true as it is, that was funny..... LOL.... Sarah Jessica Palin, that's pretty damn funny too.......
Mitt Romney has from the very beginning polled the best against Obama, and polarizing people like Palin supporting Newt just helps Mitt get more independents. I have nothing against Newt or Palin, but as far as the general election goes Mitt Romney has the best chance of beating Obama and support from Palin would not help him in the General Election. If I were a Democrat I would want anyone one other then Mitt Romney. Conservatives may not be happy with the Romney option at first but after months of seeing who the alternative is they will jump on board with Romney.
Gee, Todd Palin endorses Newt! I guess that seals the deal....NOT!
no the worst president was jimmy carter , the next worst is oboma .. big rog in michigan sh#T FOR BRAINS...
@Big Rog in..... I normally don't come on out and say I agree with some one who is being mean and all, but damn, you hit the nail sqaure on the head. Old Georgie porgie, and for some sick, twisted reason, we got two terms out of him, was, "IS", the Worst Pres of all time, let's hope that no one ever does worse, yikes......
willowbrook -
No Greg in New York....Palin is talking about the lack of vetting on Obama, which resulted in the US getting the worst President ever.....out shining even Carter for that distinction. It only took me 10 minutes on the Internet to realize Obama was not Presidential material. But, somehow, the Media couldn't spend 10 minutes of their own to find the same information.
Sorry Willbrook, but King George will go down in history as the worst president in US History. Any man, that sends our troops into a war on a lie, spends trillions of borrowed dollars to do it over a lie, destroys America's reputation on the world scene, and completely ignores the economy during his presidency... It took me less than 5 minutes to realize BUSH was never qualified to be president, and less than 2 minutes to realize there isn't a GOP candidate out there that is qualified.
Palin is correct when she says all the candidates would be better than Obama. All have a better track record of accomplishment than the President has. Even she has a better track record than Obama! Really? You mean Newt Gingrich, who was kicked out of Congress on an ethics charge is better than Obama? A man that tried to impeach Bill Clinton for an affair, and was doing it himself at the same time is better? LOL. Palin better than Obama? that's the funniest thing I have heard all day.
I don't know why I continue to want to get her in the sack. Its like I have a one track mind and I can't help myself thinking about it. I must love bimbos. Well I was married to the Queen of Darkness once, maybe I'm just a glutten for punishment. I just might go get help one day, maybe. But I keep thinking about getting her out of those republican clothes and into something hot and look here it goes again....
Whoa, hold on just a minute! The last time I looked Palin still had a following amongst the right of right crowd. I think her endorsement could help Gingrich. I don't think it will help him enough to actually WIN the South Carolina primary. Romney will still win it and will be the nominee. It looks like Romney has a 20 point lead and that would be hard to overcome this late in the contest, but still, if "Mr. 35%" finishes in the mid-30's in South Carolina, he's toast. He'll be the nominee and at 35% he is DOA in November.
So, you go girl. Hey, maybe if Newt gets the nomination you could be his running mate and go rogue again, huh? That would be great!
Talk Sarah, talk. Talk Sarah, talk.
Obama/Biden 2012
Sarah Palin most likely wants to be Newt's next arm charm! She could have easily come from South Carolina because she can not read either. My apologies to those of you in S. Carolina have kept up on the issues and deserve all the respect in the world. But since this campaign started, I can honestly state, the candidates may be "educated" but they are an insult their predecessors. Anyone who would beleive in those pack of liars, cannot possibly comprehend what they intend to do to this county's middle and lower classes.
The only other reason Sarah would endorse Newt is, she hoping to get her husband, one of those janitorial positions.
You people can say what you want to about Jimmy Carter, and sure, his Presidency was marred by a lot of failures(mostly, by using the same dirty tactics being employed to destroy Obama) and the Iran incident. Which, by the way, was directly influenced by the George Bush Family. Carter is one of the smartest men in the last 250 years. Bush jr. on the other hand, the word MORON comes to mind. Yeah, well, he was the "Decider" after all. Bush "43" should never have been allowed to vote, let alone be the leader of the Greatest Nation the Earth has EVER seen. Carter is a Great Man, whether you like that or not, IT IS A FACT!
Let's see if Santorum or Perry listen to her, or Newt, and get out of the race before the SC primary. LMAO
I couldn't imagine a bigger bunch of buffoons as the Republican party has for this election.
well, there's the LIZARD's kiss of DEATH...
The vetting comment is rather amusing since if that had been applied to her she would not be the millionaire she is today.
That being said, anybody with a microscope on them would be deemed unfit by voters because nobody has a perfect past. So divorce can cause issues if the x spouse has revealing things to say. Or kids hurt by divorce such as Rudy's kids can kill a candidate. Years ago Jimmy Carter had his brother and mother that often said strange things that were rather revealing, but the media didn't hound people like they do today.
Obama was given a huge pass by media. He was chosen by the media above Hillary and the party defected from her even suggesting racism by Bill. The party voted for race , and black voters did the same. Nobody cared what his resume looked like which was extremely thin. The most experience he had was being a state senator and if you look at the state he represented it is the worst fiscally performing state in our country. Over the years 4 governors have been sent to jail, and now they have even a worse fiscal issue than CA which is really bad. So we elected a president from a state with fiscal irresponsibility and major corruption. Why we would do that is because he was not honestly vetted by the media nor the party, which is why our country has no solutions to our many issues.
Obama rules. It is his way or the highway. That is the Chicago way.
This makes no sense. He is the "moderate candidate" and if he finishes with 35% in South Carolina and beats the more "conservative" nominees in a more conservative state this only helps his chances. This really means nothing when it comes to the general election unless you think conservatives who think he is to moderate won't vote for him. If you think he will not get conservative to vote for him against Obama then you are being fooled. Republicans thought a lot of Hillary supporters would vote for McCain being unhappy with her second place finish, didn't happen. Conservatives staying home or voting for Obama, sorry, that's not going to happen either.
Thanks for the input Sarah....sheesh. Are you done now? If given a blank map of the United States I sadly seriously wonder if she could locate South Carolina, name and point out where on the map the capital is. Thanks so much for introducing the country to Sarah Mr. McCain....not.
For good or bad Palin shows one more time his influence tothe republican voters, and stir the pot of liberals haters. However she is right , if Romney is the nominee, he can beat Obama but he is not a conservative anyway. According to CNN polls and others, Obama and Romney are neck to neck, and after his nomination his numbers will go up, not down. Obama is toast.
thats ok StC, i'd take any one of the GOP's,[take your pick] over the retard in office now.[my personal opinon] I would vote in an actual Clown vs the pretend one we have now trying to run [ruin?] this nation. good thing it has been all F A I L since he got into office. well almost all fail, there is still a HCR, aand a couple other things need removal.
but if it makes you feel ant better... Palin is going to be around for a long time i so so hope. she for some reson had the dems making puddles where they sit, too too funny!
Sarah Palin Supporting Newt makes Romney look even better.
Very simple folks Palin=Whacko. Obama will be getting a 2nd term imho. Not one of these guys are putting forth answers to what this country needs. People are being bought. Same with Obama. I like Ron Paul more and more every day.
I know, and that's what's really scary.
Well gosh darn it. Who gives a crap what this ignorant media whore thinks.
What I am seeing on this board are a bunch of people who, rather than admit to the fact that they put a man into office whose scripted speeches wooed them, while really little of his background and history was ever properly dissected AND/OR even saw the light of day, who they surely must now see wants to fundamentally change everything America is built on.....rather than admit they were bamboozled by this disaster of a President. Making fun, insulting and quoting old late night comedy skit jokes doesn't speak well of some peoples' maturity or discernment, it that's all they've got.
I think what Sarah Palin suggests is exactly what this country needs to do....that is examine each candidate's qualifications, history, hear their proposals and ideas, and be allowed to make an INFORMED decision and not get another pig in a poke.
I think it is great that other parties are doing their homework before making such an important decision. That's what a lot of liberals should have done in '08. None of the candidates are perfect, no one is, but we know they honor the Constitution and have faith in the American values and system as it was intended by our founders.
Palin has more TRUE patriotism and real world experience than Obama has ever had. ANY one of the Rep. or other candidates, warts and all, will be better than what we've got now. Palin just thinks, rightfully, that we must be as well informed as possible before we pick one. What a novel idea!
Sarahs endorsement is all it will take to put Newt over the top.. Go Newt Go ... Newt now has the endorsement of the only smart republican ....the presidency is yours GO Newt GO .. it would be a landslide victory if you could get Sarah as a running mate .. NEWT and SARAH in 2012
Are you kidding me Newt a racist?? You don't have to like the man because your a liberal that wants to stick your head in the sand in regards to how unfair life has been in the monority communities. The reason it has been unfair is directly related to your liberal policies that just want to give enough to these communities for them to not survive. Instead of what Newts idea which is to empower kids in the inner city - get off your soap box on moral perpitude. How many pols like women hmm?? Kennedy Clinton two of your favs were huge pigs but you praise them. You are all so stupid - if Newt wins he will destroy Obama in a debate. Good luck and good bye.
PJ.."Everytime she opens her mouth, Independents move one step closer to Obama."
Sorry my friend, but very few independents pay any attention to Palin. If you think anything she has to say is going to push Independents toward Obama, not only are you confused, but disillusioned as well, which is not a good combination.
I love the anger and resentment of liberals who can't measure up to her class and stature.
She's got the type of class your mother hoped you would have, and you failed her
Don't be envious, just strive to be better
You don't have to be bar-hopping sluts and baby killing wenches...
Be good ladies and gents and get behind a true american hero
Carter was, and will always be an idiot, whether you like that or not IT IS A FACT!
To his credit, this means that Romney wants nothing to do with Palin. Because Palin's actions have proved ... that she will whore herself out to the highest bidder ... and let's face it ... Romney has the most $$$$$$ ....
And with Ron Paul's thinking ... each state would have the right to vote for or against slavery ... and the feds be damned ... sounds good to some ... but in "REALITY" has proved not to work!!!!!!!!!!!
We had enough simplistic thinking during the Bush years ........
Mike 416, and for businesses to racially discriminate.
Obama is still campaigning the 57 states of the Union.
" thank you Sioux City ... I've been in Iowa for too long " .............. confuse ?
Is still Iran a tinny country ?
Did Obama learn how to speak Austrian?
Please, someone explain to me why the crosseyed phucktard Sarah Palin is relevant.
RP 2387990, please step back into reality and away from Fox News, if you believe that everyone who rejects your conservative ideology is a drunk or whore. I am neither and have never had any abortions, both kids born in marriage.
Obama is still campaigning the 57 states of the Union.
" thank you Sioux City ... I've been in Iowa for too long " .............. confuse ?
Is still Iran a tinny country ?
Did Obama learn how to speak Austrian?
Note George W. not a great president but did get elected to 2nd term and at no time during his presidency did he ever get compared to Carter's level of incompetency, so by the two facts he is not the worst president. Obama is yet to be determined but has led all past presidents in over stepping the authorities granted the executive office, has divided the country and the democratic party more then he has united it and created as much new debt in 3 years as Bush did in 8 years. He has bailed out big business and corrupted unions at the expense of all tax paying citizens, repeatedly disrespects the country he is leading and our soldiers protecting our country to foreign leaders, fills many of his cabinet positions with people who had little or no experience in the field (note may have the record of most people leaving his staff without controversy of an president).... I could continue but my points made that he is in potectionally the running for the bottom 1 or 2 positions. Also I highly believe that the leftist radicals (socialist) that don't care if the country is flush down the toilet to a 3rd world status just to prove a point as long as they can blame it on the republican party will have the comment closed with 30 minutes.
Riiiiiiight. Hypocrite. Sarah Palin: STFU and GTFO!
ME Sane, you are insane. Why couldn't poor black kids work in libraries or as interns (instead of only as janitors, even if we supported child labor), if Newt isn't racist? What about the poor white kids? No work ethic displayed for them? Have you or Newt heard of the working poor? Seek help.
izmee ... I think you are confusing Cater with Bush ... Sorry!!!
And ... Carter was too honorable to be president of such back stabbing fools!!!!
Americans want someone who will cheat them right ... like Romney ...........
Realist 3668519, try a dose of realism. It is the Republicans who are trying to turn this nation into Third World. They are refusing to hire unless they have no regulations, and can deny healthcare to employees, overturn labor laws, pay sweatshop wages in America, and want a fascist dictator as president, to police the world and everyone's bedrooms here. As for the rest of your post, I'll bet you think TARP started under Obama, that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were already on the books, and that he champions the taxpayer subsidies to the Big businesses (corporate welfare). Do you know what Bush' exiting approval ratings were? And, he got re-elected because he started the war in Iraq, and we rarely change commanders in Chief during war (as well as the swiftboating done to elitist Kerry). Stop drinking the GOP koolaid.
Aggie "Palin has more TRUE patriotism" ...
Then why did she quit on the folks of Alaska ... I think you have "patriotism" confused with "greed" ..........
Chalk up another fool for Palin ...............
Of course she endorses Newt - he's got zero integrity too. It's a shame she's too old for him, they'd make quite a pair.
RON PAUL 2012
At least we know he is the only Pro-American candidate we have running this time.
Palin quit to run with McCain, Obama quit his Illinois voters , voting present all the time.
it is so sad what the world is coming to,all the presidents, before obama, have not did half as much as this president, in to giving to not just some like people that already have, but people in need its sad that just because he s not a yes man that you are not satisfy with him, are that he and his wife work together one on one to help out this crazy world that your moran bush created, and carter not far behind, and god help the others, that ran, and occupied a chair and was not one on one with their wives and sarah you need to get a life, get over your lost.
newscover...
Educate yourself as to WHY Sarah Palin "quit" as Gov. in AK. It was to save the PEOPLE of AK from having to pay for cases brought against her by some psycho stalker, that would fall on the State since she was Governor. By stepping down, she paid for them herself. Like I said, TRUE patriot...People first, State first. And, btw all of the suits were dismissed or not even worthy of being brought to trial. But they all had to be heard by the State and adjudicated, as required. Have you confused FACT with ignorant spin??
izmee, you are obviously a good judge of character(very, very, sarcastic of me by the way). Jimmy Carter is the Smartest man you don't even know you know. Jimmy Carter makes W look like a total buffoonn, oh wait, W, makes W, look like a total buffoon.
Bryan
I completely agree with you. President Carter was just too honest, to be president. He trusted others, to be just as honest and dedicated, as he. He believed in his follow man. All the while, they were his covert enemies and were out to foil him, at every turn. He did not join the 'good old boys club' and he was never a "Washington insider." President Carter, has become an asset to our country, and has contributed to our society, years after his presidency. I believe he was one of the most sincerest presidents, our country has ever had. His rivals took advantage of his trust and tried to make him look the fool. But to me, he was and is, a class act and I will always respect his contributions, to this country.
I believe the Republicans are trying to do the same thing to President Obama. I also, believe he was too trusting in his first two years. He believed, the neocons wanted, to make the United States great again, after Bush and Cheney reign of destruction. By his actions this past year, I believe President Obama, has learned to continue to walk softy but now, he carries a big stick. I hope he continues, to push back on the "say No Republicans." Some voters will always be against him. But I believe, those with intellect and a sense of caring, will vote for him. He has been able, to start to turn this country around, no thanks to the Republicans.
OBAMA/BIDEN 2012
Aggie-The only way I could help you is to give you a white stick with a red tip and hearing aid!
Anyone who for one second thinks that Palin cares about anything but herself and her bank account ... is a flat out fool .... and that also rings true for the person she just endorsed ......
wait a min, a candidate 4 years ago who wasn't vetted? who did she mean--herself?? no, because uses a male pronoun. surely not John Cain. she did NOT say "the president"
Sorry about your luck Newt!
That's exactly what we have done. Unfortunately, after we did that, we found out that all the Republican candidates are a joke.
That's what the American people did in 2008 too. That's why Obama stopped America from losing 750,000 jobs a month, despite the unbelievable STENCH that Bush left because he was so inept to see that Wall Street was about to cause $7 Trillion in America's net worth to evaporate into thin air.
That's why we continue to have the ability to keep the same health insurance carriers, we can't get dumped by a carrier because we have a pre-existing condition, why your kid can stay on your policy longer, and, if the Republicans don't f**k things up, we won't have deadbeats stopping by the emergency room, get care, and have all of us pay for it.
So what's your point?
"Palin, who cares what you do, you nutty lowlife bitch" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I forgot to add:
Don't forget that 20% of all personal bankruptcies in the US are due to health care costs pushing someone into bankruptcy. That means that a person, who can't afford health care coverage (but does have a house, or other assets), who gets sick or injured, goes to the emergency room. Because they aren't totally destitute, the hospital bills them, hounds them, sends the account to collection, and then comes after the assets. The person then declares bankruptcy, and you know the rest.
Is this the America you really want?
She is right about one thing..."we made a mistake 4 years ago"....that is why we need to vote for Ron Paul. Romney is near identical to Obama, and the others are pretty damn close.
It is them that is the problem....they dont realize they are creating a huge mess. Both of them, the Dem and Repub are like little children who are just fighting eachother....just to fight. They dont really have a clue as to why. They both claim to "have goals" to help this country, but then do nothing about it once they are elected. The only thing they have been doing over the years are passing bills that either add "departments" to the government, or pass bills that "save us" from the terror, and restrict our civil liberties.
I could not believe the speech i heard yesterday from Obama.....where is said.....If you stick (again) with me "Change is coming"....if people still buy that sh!t....then people are stupid! Not that Romney would be much better. I am honestly confused at how naive and gullible people are. I guess that what makes this country so special, the fact that people are so different!
While neo-cons and people who are afraid to try something new, try to bash Ron Paul....they dont seem to realize, that their candidate is planning on doing the same thing that is keeping this country from becoming prosperous, from getting us out of this mess. They dont seem to realize that their candidate is looking you right in the eye , and lying to you!
What impresses me about Ron Paul, is his honestly, his consistency, his values. And while i dont agree with everything....he has the country's best interest at heart. He has the economic plan that (i believe)works (at least he actually has a plan). His foreign policy is scary only to warmongers, who feel that we should police the world,....who crave world domination. And while we are out policing the world, we are ignoring our own country. And if we ultimately collapse...we wont be able to halp anyone anyway!
While many people feel Ron Paul is ONLY a message....you should listen to his message. There is a reason he is doing so well....it is a wonderful message that will (and should) not be ignored. Anyway, i just hope that things get better! And the establishment is NOT the answer!
It is really sad that, after 3 years of a horrible administration, that people get on these blogs and support Barrack Obama. He is a total failure, that has divided this country like never before. One only has to look at the work that congress and the senate have accomplished ( NOTHING ) to see that division. You can say, it is a worthless congress and senate, the republicans block everything, bla bla bla, but it all falls back on the President. Does anyone remember how He was going to be different, bring the parties together, true trnsparency, Horse Hockey. And the saddest part about the whole thing, there is a bunch of ignorant people still supporting this administration. Notice I didn't say stupid people, just ignorant. Ron Paul actually has the best platform, I just don't know if He is electable. People We need what Paul says, We would all be better off with the government way smaller and out of our lives. It is the government that has bankrupted our government, all administrations have had a part in it, Republican & Democrats both. We need to audit the Fed, and get back on a gold backed monetary system. When You are on a system like that, politicians can't just create money out of nothing to fund their wars, welfare etc... That is what happens now ! Why do You think our tax's haven't went up ? They just print more money, Ie.. raise the debt ceiling another 1.3 trillion, and then We pay for it through inflation ! We the people need to wake up and fix this stuff now. If all of You will read the history of fiat money and what it does to societies and its people, You will understand a little more about Ron Paul. The government is the problem, and until We get them out of the way, especially out of monetary policies, We are all doomed. Good Day!
For the first time in my life I completely agree with Sarah Palin on something!
Palin is correct, having her as a candidate 4 years ago was a huge mistake, she was easily exposed as an idiot, with a family life that did not come close to the moral pedestal she seems to pretend to occupy. Obviously McCain had not vetted her. I am sure Reps will not want to make such an error again! But they will.
When will Palin figure out nobody gives a poo what she thinks, does or wants except for a ever smaller number of numb nuts on the extreme right? Begone Sarah, you are done.
newscover - "...And with Ron Paul's thinking ... each state would have the right to vote for or against slavery ... and the feds be damned ..."
The 13th amendment was passed at the end of the Civil War before the Southern states had been restored to the Union and should have easily passed the Congress. Although the Senate passed it in April 1864, the House did not. At that point, Lincoln took an active role to ensure passage through congress. He insisted that passage of the 13th amendment be added to the Republican Party platform for the upcoming Presidential elections. His efforts met with success when the House passed the bill in January 1865 with a vote of 119–56.
With the adoption of the 13th amendment, the United States found a final constitutional solution to the issue of slavery. The 13th amendment, along with the 14th and 15th, is one of the trio of Civil War amendments that greatly expanded the civil rights of Americans.
Alim, so You're saying if Paul were elected, We would vote back in slavery in some states ?
I would never do anything she says or wants me to do, unless its in the bedroom. I don't agree with her political views, but I do think she's hot. The only think about that, I'd have to dress her too, because the republican clothes she wears, just don't do it for her at all. I'd have to take her to Victoria Secrets and then, who knows, I might even listen to her political views too. Not that I'd understand a word she's saying, but hey what the heck, its all about us having some fun. She'd look hot in a black mini dress and I'd definetly show her my appriciation. How in the heck did she get involved in politics anyhow.
I thought that was the sound of something irrelevent, and sure enough, it was Sarah Palin speaking.
We are way beyond that ! Paul simply wants to revert back to the constitution, which gives lots of power to the states. I believe that the individual states should have the power that the constitution grants, DUH ! The federal Government is incapable of doing anything efficiently, period !
Joe, what would You do dress Her in Democratic clothes ? Something like maybe Nancy Pelosi, or maybe Valerie Jarrett ?
Who cares what Sarah says? I mean come on, she's a greedy money whore, nothing less.
As independents, my wife and I have had many discussions about who we'd like to see nominated, and Romney is the only one who has a chance to beat Obama, and also is the most center of any candidate. I mean come on, he just broke 30%, the right knows he is full of crap when he spouts his right wing crap.
Center is good, it's mature, it's what we need. With the far right and left acting like kids lately, we keep getting deeper and deeper into sh!t. It's about time we all grow up and act like adults, all of the trash talking from candidates and the media needs to stop. I don't really care to hear all the negatives, let's hear the positives of what any of them can do! Negatives keep dividing this country more and more each day.
So basically, if Romney is the nominee and candidate to run against Obama, I think whoever wins and serves out the next term of the presidency, we will have a similar result in the White House. It's Congress that I worry about, they aren't worth a sh!t, all of them need to go!
No, no, no, Joel. Maybe somethng like Jenifer Aniston would wear, something just a little hotter and with a hem line an inch or so above the knee. If I dress her she's going to look good. She does have a nice set of legs, its just a shame she dosen't display them like she should. Thats that conservative look she got going in public. I'd get something a little shorter and little more snug on her.
Hey Joel, what do those hags you mention wear. I can't say I ever paid any attention to them and what they wear. I bet they have a member strapped down on their leg and are probably trying to hide that with the clothes they wear. Yeah Sarah needs to dress a little sexier if she wants votes, or else she's going to end up like the hags you mentioned. That would be a real shame too.
They are just perfect for each other! Both Gingrich and Palin are frauds, liars and hypocritical ... birds of a feather flock together. Just goes to show that Palin isn't listening to what Gingrich is saying on substance because she doesn't care (about this country). It's about religious bigotry ... if she were honest she would just say that .... he's a converted Catholic and she's and evangelical and that's the basis for her support.
Why don't they both team up and start a Tent Revival where they can (continue) to scam the public and their respective supporters out of money, pair up and write some books... hey after all it's okay to be a fraud and liar and risk nothing to make money! God forbid if you risk anything like Bain Capital and Romney did for a reward! Gingrich/Palin For Losers 2012.....
Romney For President 2012!
Sadly, a certain segment of the American population has been so brainwashed by the likes of Limbaugh and FOX that reality no longer registers with them.
Let's look for a second at Palin's track record. It only takes a second. She was the one-term governor (who dropped out before completing her first term in office) of a state that has a total population less than that of the city of Charlotte, N.C. Palin was facing scrutiny for ethics violations, and she decided to cash in on her new-found status as a media sensation. Don't cry for me, folks in Juneau!
The End. Unless you want to add her reality TV show and her highly paid appearances on FOX.
Palin and Gingrich both have this in common: They have leveraged their political connections to make a lot of money. That is their only interest. Such patriots, huh?
Wake up to reality, America and start thinking for yourselves. Limbaugh and FOX are only in it for the money too.
So all you libbies come out and delete my post about a Dr Paul endorsement?
So much for free speech right?
Here ya go I'll re-post it for ya...
Nationally-recognized Salt Lake City entrepreneur joins ‘LDS for Ron Paul’ nationwide coalition and stands with Ron Paul to Restore America Now
LAKE JACKSON, Texas – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul was endorsed today by Overstock.com President Jonathan Johnson, who is also joining the “Latter-day Saints for Ron Paul” nationwide coalition.
The following statement of endorsement from Mr. Johnson is personal, and does not represent an endorsement on behalf of any companies or organizations with which he is affiliated, including Overstock.com.
“The federal government has run roughshod on the Constitution and now intrudes into too many areas of our lives. Ron Paul’s staunch adherence to the Constitution, defense of individual liberty and vision of a smaller government are the right prescription for our time,” said Mr. Johnson.
Jonathan E. Johnson III has been the President of Overstock.com since 2008. Mr. Johnson joined Overstock.com in 2002 as the Company’s General Counsel and has held various business and legal related positions at the company. He has been part of Overstock.com’s meteoric growth, as the company has grown from a small start-up to a company with $1.1 billion in sales and over 1,400 employees throughout Utah.
Prior to joining Overstock.com, Johnson was with TenFold Corporation in various positions, including CFO and General Counsel. Before that, he practiced corporate law in Los Angeles with two international law firms. He also served as a judicial clerk at the Utah Supreme Court.
Johnson received a bachelor’s degree in Japanese from Brigham Young University, studied at Osaka University of Foreign Studies in Japan as a Ministry of Education Scholar, and received his law degree from the BYU Law School.
Johnson lives in Salt Lake with his wife and five sons, and is active in the Utah Republican Party and a longtime member of the board of governors of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce.
Concerning the active “Latter-day Saints for Ron Paul” coalition, Johnson’s endorsement follows the high-profile support of prominent author and chair of the Utah Tenth Amendment Center Connor Boyack, that of Utah Republican Liberty Caucus Chair Darcy Van Orden, as well as that of everyday LDS Nevadans.
All such announcements help present Ron Paul as the conservative alternative to Mitt Romney and demonstrate that no presidential candidate has a monopoly on this crucial western states voter segment.
BS, Aggie. La Palin quite because Rupert Murdoch waved some $$$ at her. Now she lies on Fox News and gets paid for it. No integrity, no class, no loyalty to her constituents. No wonder she's a joke.
Fact ... the latest corruption of Constitutional law and the Bill of Rights is the present administrations signing of NDAA - in a retricted form, remembering the Obama administration attempted to push through an even more far-reaching restriction of citizen rights - which is already effectively negating the Bill of Rights. Why is it essentially being ignored? And the majority of Congress on both sides of the 'aisle'. Whoever wins the next election can drive efforts to recover or destory our freedoms. MSM will continue to write stories and headlines that serve to divide Americans, that hammer out their manipulation through the 'party pawn' approach. Individuals like many on this thread, buy into it and would rather spend time name calling and denigrading personalities with their remarks, instead of understanding the dire necessity to look at the importance of policy that upholds law, that promotes unity and commonsense when it comes to making decisions regarding leadership. When sniping about who Sarah Palin endorses can draw away from civil and honest examination of policy, practice and procedure to the detriment of citizens, MSM accumulates dollars and power, particularly the power to promote bias. That is their mission. When the People choose to converse honestly regarding where the truth lies under layers of switch and bait information provided by media, disingenuous politicians and party pawns, the discussion can actually begin to uncover truth and move all of us forward. Peace. Liberty. Sound Money - That should be our collective mission, for that is the real mission of government by the People and for the People. Anything less is how we got down here in the ditch next to the people with the shovels. You should ask yourself if you are you a person who promotes unity under law or the use of shovels to effectively bury all of us.
The occupiers of this blog, the community organizers that carry the water for the food stamp president collapsed my comment # 1.70 because they don't like the truth ,that Palin was smarter and had more experience than Obama, even she was running for Vice President , actually she knows more geography than their liberal haters, who laugh about Russia in the backyard of Alaska, Russia has a territory in the backyard of Alaska, the Diomede Islands.. Yes, Obama is still looking for the 57 states ,looking for a translator that speak Austrian, and he is amaze how a tiny country like Iran that, do not poses any treat, don't want dialog without pre condition , is building nuclear weapons , and is going to block the strait of Hormuz. Like it or not those are facts. This is why 75 of American agree we are going in the wrong direction. Sorry but Obama will be one term president like Carter
redvirginia ... I would prefer a "food stamp president" to use your words ... over a "body bag president" any day! But that's just my distorted way of thinking!
And as far as Palin ....................... chalk up one more conned fool .......
I agree with everything you said, Pedestrian... now Palin has no constituents. She can't get her name on the ballot anywhere, not even in Alaska.
God bless America. :)
newscover....Since you CHOOSE to be blind, I'll let you have that red tipped cane.
what a loser.
Why would we think that the state governments would handle anything better than the fed. You do know that Rick Perry is in charge in Texas right?
Who cares who that nitwit would vote for? Cover something else, please.
Aggie-
It reminds me of a lady strutting down the street with a pretty white dress ... and she's the only one who doesn't realize that there's a juicy fur ball hanging from of butt ................
But that's ok ... keep on strutting ... it's a free country .........
Pedestrian in S.R.
Palin stepped down as Governor of AK before July 4, 2009. She didn't join FOX news until January of 2010. Looks like you put the cart before the horse. You could have, should have looked it before putting your foot in your mouth.
newscover.....
You resort to gross comments now? Well, if that's all you've got, run with it. Says more about you than it does about me.
Wow...Nice lookin' milf. Who is she??
Well, I've got to say that Sarah Palin endorsing Newt is the funniest thing I've heard today. I'm surprised. I would have thought she would be done with white-haired older men. I really would have bet money she would have backed Perry so she could feel intellectually superior to SOMEONE.
Oh well, I"ll take it. It made me smile out loud on my face with teeth showing :-)
RP23...... - How sad that your parents taught you that crass, lowlife and ignorant represents class. You clearly would be overwhelmed if you met anyone with true class if this piece of gutter trash represents class to you.
Yeow! It's pretty scary to think you guys vote.
I think most of you are watching too much "Real Wives..."
I just love watching the gop candidates cannibalizing each other!! Please pass the popcorn.......
Ron Paul believes in freedom and liberty for all Racists, Bigots, Xenophobes, Sexists, Robber Barons, Homophobes and Polluters.
Ron Paul 1812!
Have a nice day.
I should have gotten up earlier so I could have been the first to say, "Palin urges...Wait. Who gives a damn?"
Everytime she has an urge the GOP has an orgasm.
Gotta love this news Gingrich' ex wife has about Newt the swinger... yeah baby! Where's Austin Powers when you need him? Eat your spiked heel Sarah Palin!
“More debates, more vetting of candidates because we know the mistake made in our country four years ago was having a candidate that was not vetted,
Ho Ha Ha that candidate was you Sarah!
Forrest,
It was both of them, McCain was anointed right after SC, he went into super Tuesday without any real challenge from anyone. Just the way the Neo-Con republicans like it.
I don't think it's going to happen this time around. Newt is in it if anything to destroy Mitts invincibility, he may go the distance but without being on every ballot, he's going to be woefully short of delegates at the convention.
Like we discussed earlier, it's between Mitts and the Dr. and the Establishment is beginning to wake up to the numbers. They can't win without Dr Paul's supporters which means they can't win without Dr Paul. That's why he is now getting questions on whether he will accept the keystone speech at the convention, this is why they are discussing party planks, and the candidates are mimicking his positions.
Mitts was hurt in the last debate, the Grinch and Santy really showed him as an inarticulate panderer without any message. His "Kill 'em" statement not withstanding, it didn't change that perception.
they started out thinking that if they kept enough candidates on the ballot they could squeak Mitts through with a plurality. not going to happen, Dr Paul is too strong for that strategy to work.
She is right about Presidential candidates in 2008 not being properly vetted.
McCain is still gullible and thinks that our war in Vietnam was justified and honorable.
Palin is still an idiot.
What flavor are ya drinkin today? Grape or orange
Good point Forrest; but the irony of her statement - or the true meaning of any statement except "the camera is over here" - is lost on SP.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Who Care Who She'd Vote for? ....
And now I'll do some fancy pageant walking! You Betcha! Winky Wink. Tee hee Sarah tickles me.
Don't forget when she waves good bye - one of my favorite parts.
Irony meters across the country just exploded.
She was correct. If you brainwashed people look into Bush I, II, Clinton and President Obama's early years, with the information that is out there and not SEALED by Executive Order on his first day in office, you will see that ALL four are most likely developed by the Agency for the Trans National BANKSTERS so that they can create their New World Order. It is SOOO obvious, but you people are blinded by your allegiance to the Blue/Red game. Open your eyes and Follow, the Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Big Pharma, Chinese, and NOW the BILLION dollar campaign chests.
How many of President's Obama advisors came from Goldman Sachs? In the middle of the BAIN controversy he just appointed that exBrain as the head of the OMB. Ya just gotta love it. If nothin else he just neutered a good campaign issue against Romney.
As for Palin, she ALSO is a pawn in da GAME. If se wanted to keep it goin she would have Supported Santorum. He is closer to her supposed beliefs.
However she is a Soros/Rothschild puppet like the rest. About 8 months ago she picked up two advisers. One from Soros and another from Rothschilds.
I support Ron Paul, but it came out, and it appears MAY be true he got 11 out of 14 of his advisors from SOROS' NGO's. If that is true there isn't hope for any of us. Enjoy your New World Order. LOL!
How absolutly crazy are you people who support Ron Paul - the guy is a mumbling bumbling fool. More scary than our current president and left of our current pres in many areas. Just blows me away how people think. This guy is barely coherant and you want to elect him the leader of the free world? Wow
Well, it made us in SC soooo happy she actually supported anyone... doesn't matter who... they will POSSIBLY find someone who can win SC, but it will not change the outcome of the elections.... I worry about people who actually pay attention to her...
Was Bush appropriately vetted? Because he was absolutely nothing like the candidate he claimed. During the debates he claimed he was against nation building then he turned around and spent trillions on two unfunded wars. One based on lies! Sure he cut taxes, thus eliminating revenue but then drove up the debt with a nice socialized program like Medicare Part D. The party he ran with are about smaller government yet he had just as many appointees and czars as Obama. (The current Conservatives love to blast Obama about his czar appointments but they don't acknowledge when one of their own do it.) Bush was a closet Republican socialist. He was not a conservative even though the Conservatives got behind him. So Sarah's claim is invalid. The debates and candidate vetting are totally useless. A candidate will do what their political financiers and lobbyists want them to do. Nothing more. Nothing less. Nothing for principle.
Who were Bush's czar's ?
And Obama. Speak truth or keep yelling wolf. Cheap jabs serve no one.
Joel, you find out about them here: http://www.unitedliberty.org/articles/who-had-more-czars-bush-or-obama
You can also find out about the czar appointments for the past 70 years at Wikipedia's website but it's down today.
They elected Bush.
I hope he (NG) wins SC just so i can quit seeing "Romney unstoppable" EVERYWHERE in the printed MSM and all over TV. He's not even conservative! A 1% rich boy who hid in France trying to convert people to Mormanism during the Vietnam War. To my knowledge he's never had a "regular" job in his life. Ron Paul was a OB/GYN (delivering 4000+ babies) before his recent run in the House, and before his 1st run in Congress was drafted in 62' and WENT, while being married with 2 kids. I know nobody here really likes him, but he does seem to actually care about the country 1st before himself. Paul vs Obama would actually be an interesting contest, as RP is the only R who would actually draw any I's or any D's. Romney won't draw any I's, let alone any D's
Eddie Harris: I'm sure you were (and probably still are) a big bush fan. When you bring up Romney "hiding in France trying to convert people to Mormonism", I'm sure you remember how your guy went AWOL for nearly the entire "tour of duty" in the champagne unit. He was spotted on the base once in 3 years - to have his teeth cleaned.
As for Ron Paul drawing democrat and independent voters, not likely. We all know once he got elected, he'd get a raging case of Potomac Fever, want, above ALL ELSE, to remain in the Oval Office and do whatever the teabaggers demand. He'd be no different than the rest of your lunatic fringe, except his tin foil hat may be a bit more snug.
Which of the possible candidates is not a 1% rich boy, including Obama. That's the problem...no one can afford to run unless they are in the 1%, which takes them out of the whelm of reality of what it takes for the rest of us to live.
Eddie
I have the utmost respect for Ron Paul. Throughout his career he has stuck to his guns. He hasn't changed positions, he always voted his conscience and obviously believes his vision of our country is the best. I fully agree with him on his stance for protection of our fights and freedoms.
But his ideas go too far. His stance is pretty much 'everyman for himself' and 'let the free markets regulate themselves'. We are a society. We have to help and support those who are weaker, less fortunate, or just plain unlucky. Even apes do this. And we should be better than an ape. As for the corporations regulating themselves - we went down that road at the beginning of the industrial revolution. It didn't work out too well for us.
Then you have his desire for isolationism. Sounds good on the surface but I question just how far he would take it. We live in a small world these days. And dealing with other countries is really the main job of the President. I don't think we can chance his ideas there. Bush did us enough damage. We need a president who can and wil take to others. Not attack them or ignore them.
I do like him. I like having someone with his integrity in Congress. I like that he can be our conscience. But I do not think he belongs in the White House.
Conservatism has now come to mean gullible stupidity rather than rational responsibility.
Ron Paul has more integrity than most politicans in DC. The Messiah has proven himself to be a flip floping liar time and again. And yet the libtards continue to blindly support him. Show me where Ron Paul has flip floped and changed his stance? He abides by the framework of the Constitution only, not special interest groups. He says what he means and he means what he says. And he has a lenghty track record to prove it.
@dsb
As soon as I saw the word "isolationist" I stoped reading. Clearly you are ignorant on the fundamentals of Ron Paul's foreign policy.
As far as your positions of his free markets go. Look at the numbers, the more government gets involved in our daily lives, the more harm it does. We are $14 Trillion in debt and have more people on welfare and food stamps now than ever before. And you can't just blame Bush or Obama, we've tried it both ways and both ways are failing us as a nation. The time as come for some real change if we want to make a difference.
Why don't you put your name on a Ticket. Say you and Fox propaganda bitch Sarah Palin?
Calling Dr. Paul an isolationist comes from simply not understanding the significant differences between isolationism and non-interventionism, mainly, with the issue of trade.
As a party unaffiliated voter who leans more toward the liberal side, Ron Paul is the only candidate that I would vote for on the republican ticket. I'd swing if he were a choice. He doesn't live in extravagance. His foreign policy views are the best thing since sliced bread! When's the last time we as a country took a non-interference policy? When's the last time we remained neutral in a foreign conflict? WW2? Now a lot of other countries hate us. Imagine that! Besides, he's the only "republican" so far that is actually willing to touch the defense budget.
Not likely - but also not impossible. I am a dem that would vote for him if not for a couple of his issues. Consequentially the same with Obama - I dont agree 100% with what he does.
paul would have made a suitable candidate in 1820. But we seem to have moved forward roughly 200 years.
Jym..."Conservatism has now come to mean gullible stupidity rather than rational responsibility."
LOL!! And how many uninformed whites, who usually don't vote, came out of the woodwork to vote for "Hope and Change" and make a social statement by voting for our first black President.
Gullible stupidity indeed!!!
I was an democrat now independent, my dad called the worst damn conservative he ever knew, he was a republican. however my point being I would never vote for Ron Paul, he is like a reed in the wind, something more has a poor foreign policy and was weak on defense issues. Nothing wrong for us to stay out of everyone else's business. Have a strong defense and a great industrial base. that hasn't been the case both democrats and repulicans have sold this country out to big business, both parties. I used to argue with a friend about Santorum, but I was wrong until I had heard what the amn had to say, of couse my friend would vote for Chairman Mao is he said he was a reupublican. Santorum seems to have a middle the road aproach if he is telling the truth, which I think he is. He isn't anti union, he is for getting the factories back to the U.S. which is a good thing. Everyone else wants to tax the crap out of everyone, when the factories come back here. They will be hiring unemployed Americans who will be paying payrool taxes and get off the system, the government will have their surplus money to create nepotism jobs for friends and family, wages will raise due to a worker shortage. Only thing we need is a middle of the road person who is conservative but not neo-con, nor left wing liberal. someone who says enough of the games and steps up to the plate and plays ball. If not him I suggest you find someone who isn't democrat or republican and vote for them.
The thing about Santorum is that he wants to tell us what we can and cannot do in our personal lives.....which is none of the governments business.

MAJOR HIT PIECE FAIL AP!
Sarah vs. the Evangelical Elders. Is she damning her soul to eternal damnation for defying those who converse with God?
How any woman worth her salt could vote for Gingrich is beyond me. Palin herself is the one who was never vetted before McCain's campaign put her on the ticket. Obama fought a long primary fight with Hilary Clinton. The Clinton machine did their best to bring unfavorable info to light on Obama (I'm not dissing them--that is the nature of the primary battle). I wonder why the Palins don't throw their support behind Santorum???
^ Because they'd end up with a face full of anal foam?
Because she likes a loser. She has never realized that she is one.
Because, McCain, Palin, Obama, Clinton, Romney, Newt, and Perry are ALL Globalist owned by the BANKSTERS. Santorum may be also, but he isn't in the script now and isn't their first string. LOL!
she had her 2-1/2 minutes of fame and enjoyed it. Now she wants MORE. WHY anyone considers her important (or even relevant) is the question.
Bethie
Easy one: Newt banged Palin too. Next thing Bachman will support him. He, Gingrinch, makes Willie Bill Clinton look like an amateur when it comes to " womanizing".
Emil
Palin you still have time! The circus could always use another clown!
And when the Gullible Old Poopers gather in Tampa in July 2012 it will be known as "The Convention of Village Idiots."
It's funny and sad at the same time that she even think's she's relevant now or ever was.
She had some cute things to say in 2008, but then went mashugana when she threw in with the Tea Baggers.
hey thats not nice, I"D do her
Yuck
Would you have to talk to her afterwards? Double yuck.
Viper623,
She would talk to all the time will you were doing her, would you want that?
Her head is pleasing to the eye...it is just the stupid words that pour out of it that are so very unattractive! If she were a mute...she would be great!! In fact the best way to experience Palin is to watch her with the volume on your TV all the way down. Then just use your imagination and picture her saying smart sexy things instead of the stupiness you will hear if you turn the volume back up.
she's a double bagger - the second bag is for if the first one falls off
The 2nd bag is a vomit bag!!!
Sarah Palin's right. McCain was not vetted well enough four years ago. If people had known in advance who he'd end up choosing as a running mate, he'd never have won the nomination. Talk about your lapses in judgement.
Man, she set herself up with that one...
Jon Stewart, you are the official court jester for the Democrats. You have zero competition on First Read.

I support "illegal" immigration. If you lose your job to an illegal what does that say about your job skills? I mean it's not like brain surgeons are losing jobs to "illegals". If you're that low skilled to lose your job to an illegal, you deserve no pity. Go get a skill and get another job. You obviously weren't worth what you were being paid.
Actually, ProIndividual, it means that the illegal immigrant will do the same job for less money. It has nothing to do with the quality of work.
And they cost about the same in the emergency rooms.
God loves the rich and the poor. It is fair to say attitudes towards the middle class and poor is sad among the Republican party. I have no problems when people getting rich, only how they get rich. I am talking about banks with big bonuses and CEO's big bonuses, stealing pensions and sending jobs over seas. Now they want our benefits to help pay our national debt, only to give more tax breaks to the rich. They want health insurance, Medicare, and Social Security to go away. Do they know that people in their 40's, 50's, and 60's rely on these programs just to survive and eat? No one talks about the disabled who can't go to work if they lose these benefits. I don't know about all the disabled, but I worked 40years, mostly 60 to 70 hours a week. At age 57, I lost my job, retired, and had savings of 6 figures. 4 years later and 2 cancer operations, my savings is now at a low 5 figures. If I lose my benefits, I would have nothing. The CEO's stole my pension and lowered my insurance so that I pay more money than the insurance company pays. I have listened to the republicans every night, and I can see that no republican should be elected for the House, the Senate or the President's office. From what I can see the government has been stealing from the middle class for the past 30 years. President Obama has done more for the middle class in this country during these bad times. I will vote President Obama and I as many of million of middle class who have worked over 40 years, to be disgraced by the Republican Party to want to cut our benefits. I see no reason to cut benefits as long as the rich pay only 15% or less in taxes.
Arnold Jones,
Thank you. The easiest solution to improving the economy is to have more FORMER Republican Congressmen and Senators.
As a FORMER Republican of 40 years, I am embarrassed that in the last 12 years the Republican Party has done more harm to our country then the Communist Party ever did. In fact Republican lies about Iraq and creating "legalized theft" such as Enron and the castrating of the SEC has cost more money and killed more American solders than the efforts of Al Qaeda.
My friends who remain Republicans all seem to have a commonality of gullibility and stupidity and dependency. They usually are married to alcoholics or adulterers or had abusive spouses much like almost all of the Faux Noise Network spokespeople. It is why I am thinking rather than being an enemy political movement, Republican Party membership now is indicative of a mental disease.
According to the gop, God only loves the rich and the straight.
Well said. The republicons want to give it all to their corporate and billionaire donors. All in the name of God! Jesus didn`t give a rats ass about rich people! He new they didn`t need his help. He was concerned for the workers and the downtrodden and how they were treated. How the republicons hijacked religion to their party, I will never know. God made all people, not just rich white ones!
I wish this joke of a woman would go away. Seems she's angling for the VP role again..ack... just stay in Alaska and shut up already!
do you REALLY think that ANY of the RETHUG DOPEY DWARFS would choose a LOSER as a running mate? Last time she went down BIG TIME
Clearly she was trying to make a lame attack on President Obama -- but once again she does not think before she speaks. She attacking anyone for not being "vetted enough for higher office" in 2008 is like the dwarf attacking the giant for not being tall enough. She was and remains a 3rd rate hack who is cashing in for as mush as she can for as long as she can. Her thoughts and words and those of her husband or daughter are just that -- their own -- as is their right -- However, they should not be taken as the thoughts or opintions of educated or thinking people anywhere. She had no shame -- and is only out for cashing in.
Excuse me. You do not speak for the marjority of the middle class or conservatives. I wouldn't vote OBAMA if he appeared in the clouds and told us he was the Messiah! He is a naive, dangerous man! Also, I'm not racist, because he's half white .... some people seem to leave that part out! And, he's not our first Black prez, he's our fist mulatto president... big difference. We should always vote for the person who will keep this country in tact. There is no way we can survive another Obama reign! Do you BO supporters truly believes he cares about YOU - talk about LOL! He's in for himself and his flat faced wife who swill at the public trough - taking their fancy trips (on separate planes) all over the world! They are in it for the benefits! I don't care for Ron Paul's foreign policy, but I believe that the only two candidates who are running because they love this country are Ron Paul and Rick Santorum. However, I'd vote for Mickey Mouse if he won the Republican nomination, because Goofy is now in office! Duh! Telepromter king! Duh! 57 states. Duh! Speak Austrian. Duh! Just to name a few! DUH! His goal is to make us another third world country - like the one he came from!
sam adams::: The rich, the straight and the white.
You are speaking from your anal orifaces! I'm conservative, Republican and I'm not rich, nor white! Hard to believe isn't it? You all are just experiencing sour grapes because YOUR man has no record of accomplishments - except for spending OUR money on their many extravagant vacations and White House parties. He speaks with forked tongue! He chides the Americans for spending too much - "tighten your belts, make sacrifices." While he and his darling wife go jetting around on our dime! Why don't THEY sacrifice and tighten their belts and give back his salary - seeing as how he certainly hasn't earned it!
How cute, someone doesn't realize Keynesianism and the FED caused the collapse and bubble pre-collapse, and that the failed economic ideology (filled with morons like Reich, Krugman, and Bernanke who TOTALLY missed the biggest bubble since the Great Depression) is prevelant in both Parties.
I bet you dismiss Austrian business cycle theory too, just because you hate free markets, and could care less the only people who accurately predicted this whole mess in the striking detail necessary to not just be a lucky guess are Austrian economists and assorted free market economists who at minimum believe in Austrian business cycle theory.
This is why every democracy and republic are doomed to fail...the not-so bright vote for the not-so bright they agree with it, giving us an entire system built on an informal logical fallacy (argumentum as populum; appeal to polls, majorities, the crowd). History has proven the crowd is just a mob of fickle, violent, and stupid people (especially when they are in crowds where herd mentality takes over and conscientous dissenters are needed to break the spell).
smartkid:::You are a birther, I gather. PRESIDENT Obama did not come from a third-world country-- unless you consider the United States a third-world country. The USA once was up there on top, but then GWBush got us into TWO illegal wars (unfunded at that) and came up with Medicare Part D plan (also unfunded). He was the ruinator.
BTW-- President Obama isn't the first one to use a teleprompter.
If Obama has done so much for you and the middle class, why is your savings still dropping and your benefits not restored? It's because he hasn't done jack squat except put this country further into debt which means that your savings won't be improving anytime soon. They will just keep taxing you and me to pay for all the stuff that we can't afford.
What insane BS are you spouting? What savings? What benefits restored? What are you talking about?
The Bush years added $3.7 trillion to the debt. The current administration responded to the 2008 economic meltdown with a package 790 billion of which $556 billion was the largest tax cut in history.
What tax are you talking about? You've been listening to Fox News again! Remember those who listen to Fox News KNOW LESS than those who NEVER LISTEN to ANY NEWS AT ALL!!!
I love the endorsment from Sarah's husband. Who the hell is he? What has he done? Why would he matter? I know the background story and I understand he has a following along with his spouse. With that, I am still asking! Who the hell cares?
Bong, I was wondering when Todd was going to be mentioned. Next the daughter who danced with the stars will be endorsing and making news. My head hurts
Bong, take a hit. He is entitled to his opinion, evidently he was asked, just as you and I are entitled to ours. The only difference is NOBODY asks us for our opinion. It is still Amerika. LOL!
Sarah who?
Sarah Clownshoes
Vetting? Like she was vetted by the McCain campaign? Remember that horror story?
Has it occurred to anyone else here that we have misunderstood dear Sarah? When she says 'vetting', she may mean it in a context such as:
"Here Sarah, here girl, jump in the car, girl, we're going to take a nice long ride, yeeeees vetting, to see that nice man in the white coat who gives you all your shots and medicine, and scratches you behind the ears. You can even ride up front with your head out the window and bark at everyone. That's a good girl"!!
OK Eric ... I just snorted so loud that my cubicle co-workers now know I was reading this site instead of working!!! That was sooo funny, though. I gotta get back to work.
Well, last I looked THEY lost, and look what we got in their place! A village idiot and a bumbling fool! Aren't you proud that you seated a third world ideolog who thinks he's the King?
"A village in Kenya is missing their idiot!" Saw this on a bumper sticker recently, disrepectful, but funny nonetheless!
Even Michelle, said Kenya was Barack's homeland! Slip of the tongue? The joke was on all of us and it's not too d@#$ funny any more! It's time to get serious and save this country. Vote out BO!
smartkid:: Yes, Kenya was Barack's homeland. The homeland of Barack Obama SENIOR.
A third-world ideolog? You must mean George W Bush (aka Shrub). You're right-- Shrub's village is missing its idiot. Wish he'd go back-- Texas has two idiots, and one is a former governor and one is a present governor. One is a native Texan, the other doesn't belong here.
And you better get back to your village-- they are looking for you.
Shoo! Fly away, Wicked Witch. You have no power here!
the Witch should be spelled with a "B"
Run, Sarah, run!
And don't come back.
Well, Newt is officially done. When crazies start endorsing crazies, time to move on.
Like anybody cares who Sarah would vote for. Just as I figured - she's going to rear her ugly head and get back into the fray. It's been so nice and quiet from the extreme northwest up until now.
OMG!! Are you kidding me? Newt Gingrich would be the very last person I would vote for and I would have to think for a very long time as to why. This guy is nothing to sneeze at, caused enough problems when he was in office before. Also sounds like he has a pushy wife who wants to be in the limelight. Forget about him!!
Palin went on to ad:
I'd quit my job as Governor of Alaska.
Move to Arizona.
And rake in millions by pretending to someday run for President, and so con the bigoted trailer trash out of their money.
Am I laughing at my GOP "supporters" right now?
You betcha!!
Republican Party membership now is indicative of having a mental disease.
She has a pretty good gig going. Show up and say something unintelligent every so often to keep the right wing nut jobs in your hip pocket. Then pretend like you might run for office every four years and sell alot of books in the process. Isn't there laws that are supposed to protect our poor uneducated right wingers from predators like Palin? She just takes advantage of there stupidness and I feel bad for them! Someone should be there to help those poor souls from getting suckered every four years by Palin.
During the last election Fox news sent a reporter to the inner cities and asked people"what do you think of Obamas plan to *insert McCain policies here*", they all went "wow thats a great idea, Obamas so smart!" Problem is, they were Republican policies not Democrat. So drop the sanctimonious bull@!$%#. When are poor people going to be enlightened to the fact that the Democrats want you to be poor and dependent on them so you are forced to vote for them every election? Give a man a fish=Democrats, teach a man to fish=Republicans. And I could care less if Palin doinked the entire Harlem Globe Trotters, team what the hell has that got to do with anything? If Einstein had been addicted to porn would that have made him an idiot? The Dem's preaching to us and putting people down because of their past sexual exploits-THE IRONY!!!!!! IT BURNS!!!!!
Of course she wants it to continue. Because as soon as the Repbs chose someone she will become completely irrelevant. She won't even be able to get a line in any of the mainstream press. She once thought she was going to be a 'king maker' but the Republicans finally realized she has nothing to offer. Her supporters have fled to others and she is just trying to hang on in any way she can.
Sorry, Sarah, your sun has set.
Sara Palin knows what a precipice is? I'm astounded.
But Her followers don't
Precipice:
When the Italian media gets annoyed. . .
I bet she has the best selling right wing book "Big words that dummies can use to sound intelligent"
innuendo - Italian for "sex"
Sarah mentioned that President Obama should have been vetted better so we would know the persons He "paled around with". What a PEA-BRAIN. LOL
The self-styled Mamma Grizzly has emerged from hibernation long enough to let loose a shout-out for her fave. Kiss of death, anyone?
"the mistake made in our country four years ago was having a candidate that was not vetted, to the degree that he should have been” ... Really?? Is she actually saying that she was vetted?? Really??
Guess I won't have to add the same comment that I was going to make................Old guys////scratch that////great minds I mean think alike I guess....count me in that first category however!
OB - DITTO! It's all been said....lol
I was waiting for her to poke her nose into this. Looks as though she did just enough to get that attention she sooooo desires too.
She either wants to be Newts 4th, or have a chance at VP again, if he wins....Please lord...let it happen....Where's TEBOW when ya need him....LOL
Surely this is the kiss of death for round, chubby Newt.
I so agree... kiss him quick, Sarah!!!
