The President of the United States medical records are made public every year after his physical. Your point is to try and come up with some conspiracy (like that of the birthers). All other candidates, including the President release their financial statements. If Mr. Romney has nothing to hide he should do the same.

I am thinking that Romney has paid such a small amount of taxes on the enormous amount of money he has made and doesn't want us to know about it.

Or he has oversea accounts to avoid taxes altogether.

If Romney has nothing to hide, then why hide it? Romney has indicated that he will not be releasing his tax returns at any time and maybe not even if he is elected president while claiming he has nothing to hide.

Mr. 1% Romney, what is not to trust? Mr. Romney is for tax cuts for the rich but his tax plan raises taxes on the poor. I'll bet you can't wait to pay higher taxes so you can pay for the tax cuts for the rich.

Newton, Santorum and others in the punditocracy will bludgeon Candidate Romney ALL WEEK LONG to release his returns and will play his reticence into EVASION and that evasion into the insinuation that he has something to hide. Phinephancy - You do know that the President and members of congress have to release the financial statements annually. Also there is a big difference between a financial statement and a tax return.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Texas Gov. Rick Perry joined Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum on Monday in calling on front-runner Mitt Romney to release his income tax returns during the election, warning that the country can’t afford any potentially unpleasant revelations about Romney come fall.

“My taxes, Anita and I put out our taxes every year since back in the '80s. And every candidate up there, they should put their taxes out, including Mitt,” Perry said at a town hall hosted by GOP operative Frank Luntz. “September and October is not the time for us to be finding out that whoops, there’s something out there that is a problem. By this point (SC primary) in 2008, the lines among my Democrat co-workers - as well as those among the regular First Read posters at the time - were firmly drawn and both the Obama and the Clinton fans were as passionate in their arguments for each as they were vocal. Since this campaign first started, other than the Ron Paul supporters - and Grimey, who was firmly for Huntsman - I can't seem to find a Republican anywhere who's been willing to go out on a limb and choose a GOP candidate and come on here and argue in no uncertain terms why he/she thinks they're the best choice. All I ever hear is "anyone but Obama", and I remember all too well how well "anyone but Bush" worked for us in 2004.

But hey......I can't wait to see that "Mitt Fever" start reaching a pitch this summer.....

My main Republican contact is my father and all he has said is that he thinks Romney is the inevitable nominee, although he personally likes Gingrich because he is the smartest of the group. The surprise to me as a Pennsylvanian is that he was not on the Santorum train, but my father is more of a fiscal conservative than a social conservative.

Too bad he won't release his School records so we can verify how brilliant the Candy Man really is.

No candidate has ever been asked for his report cards except Obama. Some of you can't accept a brilliant black man because you are idiot white underachievers.
