Yeah, come back on Monday prepared to start telling the truth, and asking the questions that people want Obama to answer.

By the way, how come no mention of the fact that Obama's Hillary-Heckling-Pal, John Edwards, was pronounced too ill to stand trial until March 26th?

What a SCUMBAG Edwards is!....and he endorsed OBama

"After Elizabeth dies, I will marry you on the rooftop at the Hudson Hotel and we'll get the Dave Matthews Band to play"

John Edwards

He lied to his supporters, he lied to his family, he STOLE money (campaign contributions) from those who BELIEVED in him, set his own cause back a decade with his actions, and impacted the 2008 Democratic primaries even though he KNEW that he was in the midst of a scandal and would inevitably get caught. He was angling for a cabinet post up to the minute he was exposed. He made a mockery of his entire career and fools of those whose hopes and dreams he embodied...

What is there to defend here?

ISTV which poll? Don't see any neck and neck on RCP....

LOL, NastyRedneck......the only scumbag I see here is YOU.

You who excuses Obama's frivolous friendships with domestic terrorists, and federally convicted political racketeers, AND TAKES ENDORSEMENTS FROM SCUMBAGS LIKE JOHN EDWARDS

YOU who thinks that it's okay to live out of someone else's pocket

YOU who thinks that it's okay to steal from someone more successful than yourself.

LOL......yeah, I can see YOU responding to a post in which someone uses the word "scumbag," because it describes you and your political philosophy perfectly.

My comments here are ONLY about John Edwards...and not the "Steel Cage" match of invective and personal insult between the angry guy and someone I have on ignore...

Imagine MY surprise- I had no idea Edwards was a 'family-values' GOP-er!

And now the next time a REPUBLICAN is on trial, caught in scandal etc., you have nothing to say when Team Red uses the same pathetic attempt at deflection...congratulations...

Big news in Maine - the President is elevating the position of Small Business Administrator to Cabinet status, and that post is filled by our own Karen Mills! Olympia Snowe is full of praise for the President's action, and his choice of Mills. Now that's bipartisan action at work :)

PS I was reading about Karen Mills online, and I had to laugh. Romney says he is qualified to be President because of his experience as a venture capitalist, but this woman is so much better qualified than he is, when you look at her record of success growing jobs through investment.

    I say, Karen Mills 2016!

Meet the "real deal," Karen Mills, Small Business Administrator, now a Cabinet level post

Mills has extensive experience in managing and investing in small businesses. During the 1980s and 1990s, Mills worked with and managed several small manufacturing firms throughout the country, including producers of hardwood flooring, refrigerator motors, and plastic injection molding.

More recently, she served on the board of the Maine Technology Institute, a nonprofit that invests in local technology companies and innovative small businesses.[5]

Before becoming SBA Administrator, Mills served as president of the private equity firm MMP Group, a firm focused on growing businesses in areas such as consumer products, food, textiles, and industrial components. Prior to MMP, she was a founding partner and managing director of Solera Capital, a venture capital firm based in New York City which invested in many women-owned firms, such as natural food producer Annie's[6]

In 2007, former Maine Gov. John Baldacci appointed her to chair the state’s Council on Competitiveness and the Economy, which was focused on rural and regional development, including a regional "cluster" with Maine’s boatbuilding industry. She also served on the state's Council for the Redevelopment of the Brunswick Naval Air Station.

Previously, she has worked as a management consultant in the US and Europe for McKinsey and Co., and as a product manager for General Foods, and has served on the boards of directors for Scotts Miracle-Gro and Arrow Electronics.[7]

Mitt Romney wishes he had a resume like Karen Mills! Now there is a woman who is qualified to be President. Notice how she didn't just enrich herself, but helped create actual industries, actual jobs, while our improving our country?

Oh dear, poor ol' J. Merle has really gone 'round the bend..looking for that needle in the haystack, perhaps nojo can help him, they both have a bad case of obsession.

Meanwhile at the White House, the President is playing a fine game of chess with Congress lets's see what their next move will be.

We shouldn't expect much from them as a lot of them will still be recovering from jet lag having spent the past few weeks jetting all over at the taxpayers expense: Cantor is in Turkey with his group of congressmen and their spouses, Boehner is in Brazil, and other stops in South America...that should improve his tan, we can check it out on next week, he has to look good for the cameras and for State of the Union. Mcconnell is in Mynamar (formerly known as Burma for the geographically challenged). It is known fact that both parties take advantage of these perks, all on our dime, and most of these trips are just cover stories for all expense paid exotic vacations, no wonder there is such competition to be a member of Congress and we pay them, to, as we think serve the people.

    What fools are we.

Quelle horreur! Republican presidential front-runner Mitt Romney has been skewered in a new political attack ad - for speaking French.

The ad, released by rival Newt Gingrich, seeks to draw unflattering parallels between Mr Romney and another Massachusetts politician, John Kerry.

I feel like Rip Van Winkle except I awoke to find that US of A had become a theocracy. Franklin Graham seems to have anointed himself Christian in Chief. Evangelicals meet in Texas to debate Romney's suitability to hold office according to their lights. The Constitution, Article VI, still says "no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States." Refer these folks to this Article and tell them all to kiss my grits! If you're running for office, you need brass ones. It'll be curiously refreshing.
