Subscribe to RSSIt was not a random sample and it will have no predictive value, but a quaint New Hampshire tradition – dating back to 1960 -- was preserved Tuesday just after midnight when voters in two tiny mountain towns, Dixville Notch and Hart’s Location, were the first ones to cast their ballots in the first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary.
The winners in midnight democracy in Dixville Notch: Jon Huntsman and Mitt Romney, with two votes each; the winner in Harts Location: Romney, with 5 votes. Ron Paul came in close second with 4 votes, followed by Huntsman with 2, according to the Union Leader.

Another 250,000 or so voters are expected to join those early birds by casting their ballots later Tuesday. Polls in the Granite State close at 8pm ET.
In 2008, John McCain won the balloting in Dixville Notch with 4 votes. Mitt Romney finished second with only 2. McCain also won Hart’s Location in 2008, edging Mike Huckabee, 6 votes to 5.

Did you ever wonder why the liberal media have been behind Romney from day one? It’s because they believe Obama can defeat him in November. Think about it, the Demoncrats have attacked those they thought could be difficult to defeat. It’s scary when a party leader makes statements like that. Personally, I don’t believe the Republicans have put forth a viable candidate they did not in 2008 and they haven’t now. I cannot see myself supporting someone like Romney I think it’s just Obama in a deferent suit. I like Newt he’s by far the smartest and extremely savvy in the Washington ways but he has too much baggage. I also like Ron Paul and believe he would bring this country back to the right path but I don’t believe he’s electable…….Just my thoughts. Now let the flaming libbies pound away I going to do something usefull.

What makes Doctor Ron Paul "not electable" in your opinion? This seems to be the common theme that most media viewers take in. Just some random fox news reporter, noting how well Paul has done thus far, only to reply with," oh, but hes just not electable." I just dont get it. I guess Americans will just be happy with voting in the next "Ken" doll and lets roll for another 4year downward spiral. Cmon people, read, get involved with this. I read the books Blowback by Chalmers Johnson and The Creature From Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin to get an in depth understanding of Ron Paul's economic and foreign policy views. Ever since I've been a believer that his views are spot on.
I am also an Independent and I will not vote for Mr Obama. Im not too happy with these candidates either.

Speaking of Mittens he is so out of touch with the majority of the American people that he doesn't even know that working people get their health insurance from their employer and can't "fire them".They have to take what they are given,if they are lucky enough to even be offered health insurance,they may have small choices of what co-payment,what is covered or something like that but they can't fire their provider.only the wealty who purchase their own insurance have that option.Really out of touch.
I don't agree with your statement that you "cannot fire them" tiredofit. Of course you can! And I do not agree with your statement that you have to take what you are given. Individuals can purchase their own health care policy's for themselves and for their families, some with lower premiums than what you might pay had you chosen an employer sponsored plan. And you can opt out of any employer sponsored medical plan. Just because it is offered to you, as a benefit, does not mean you have to take it.
Republican campaign spending is a boost to the economy. They have no budget ceiling and their loyalties are on the auction block. Finally the 1% are spending money in the U.S.
Question? Who will each of these clowns ask to be their VP? It matters. I just want to see Mr Obama's university transcripts. Not his "accomplishments" but his actual transcripts. It dont know why that info would not be available as it is on any one. Im not a birther I know he was born here and he is a citizen.

Loving this. The republicans need the taliban lite evangelicals but they have a problem with Romney. He is a mormon and the evangelicals in their minds are the only ones going to heaven because you have to be saved to get there. Mormons are not saved according to their belief system. The "pink slip" comment doesn't work well on a rich, white guy, who has always had more than he needs. His contract with Bain Capital guarantees him millions for as long as he lives pretty much so what kind of pressure would that be? Romney has never had to worry about money, his bills being paid, nor any other thing that normal Joe Blow's and Jane Doe's have to worry with on a regular basis. What is the deal with Dixville Notch?? I would doubt that anyone would do that. The only reason this "first vote" of the New Hampshire Primary makes news is the long standing tradition of these two tiny hamlets being the first to cast their votes kicking off the official primary season. Those who place relatively high get more media attention, are looked at as more serious contenders and most often get more campaign contributions. Granted there have been a good number of NH Primary winners who have gone on to receive their party's nominations but there have been exceptions. Think Hillary Clinton in 2008 won the NH Primary but lost the nomination.
Who Cares, they are all losers especially Romney who wants to be another Donald Trump. "YOU ARE ALL FIRED".
