EXETER, NH -- Under the championship wrestling banners lining the walls of a high school gym here in Exeter tonight, Mitt Romney and Chris Christie got into verbal wrestling matches of their own with three separate sets of Occupy protesters.
"This is our regular group here," Romney said drily when a small group of Occupiers began to chant "Mitt Kills Jobs" midway through his speech.
As the group was being escorted out, Romney said it was "wonderful" to live in a country where people can express their views, but that he wished they would do it with "a little bit more courtesy."
When the protesters interrupted Christie minutes later with a similar chant, he was less accommodating.
"Really?" Christie asked, when the chants of "Christie Kills Jobs" began. "You know something may go down tonight but it ain't gonna be jobs, sweetheart."
Christie was interrupted just has he began to rail against a Washington culture of division, which he said was guided by President Obama, and he used the disruption to further his argument.
"I doubt he is, but I hope the president’s watching," Christie said. "I have a message for you Mr President: This is the type of disoriented anger your cynicism and your division is causing in our country. Bring our country together stop dividing it Mr. President."
Christie's clear delight at dealing with the protesters energized a crowd that the local police estimated to be more than 800 strong. That turnout number, if accurate, would make tonight's rally one of Romney's largest of the campaign thus far. But even as he shook hands with supporters who spilled over to an overflow room, Romney was confronted by one last Occupy protester, who continued to needle about the causes of the recession, Romney even as staff attempted to guide the candidate away. Romney instead turned back to face the protester head-on.
"You know what? This president has caused a deepening recession and is responsible for 25 million Americans being out of work or stopped working or not being able to get jobs," Romney said, before walking away. "And let me tell you, this president's been a failure and that's one of the reasons I'm running is to help you get a job."

1. Get rid of special interest money, better known as LOBBYING!
2. Overturn "CITIZENS UNITED" the Supreme Court's worst decision.
3. Enact TERM LIMITS for all U.S. Congressional House and Senate members.
4. Make both the "SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE" and "LEADER OF THE SENATE" elected positions. That way "WE THE PEOPLE" would have direct say over who heads the Executive and Legislative Branches of our government instead of them being elected by members of which ever political party is in the majority. By the way, this idea will never work unless you first accomplish numbers 1, 2, & 3 above FIRST.

She had a job however, at $300,000 plus as Adminstrator for Hospital Diversity in Chicago that she quit to become the Queen. Funny thou, when she quit the job was eliminated. It wasnt really a job, it was a typical Chicago political favor.

Gee, I live in NJ and I'm still waiting for "Mr Big" to create jobs instead of ending them. And as for Flip/Flop Mitt - he still believes that "Corporations ARE people". At that same appearance, he responded to a protestor that of course corporations are people "where do you think the profits go?" Well, Flipper, I believe the profits go to the wealthy CEOs and the richer stockholders - they certainly don't go to the workers (Christie's enemies) or the middle class (Flipper's peons)

Romney is completely insane to say Obama has "caused" any recession (note that we are currently NOT in a "recession"). Millions of jobs were shed by PRIVATE INDUSTRY as this president took office. And Obama had zero to do with those layoffs. Nor was there anything he could have done to stop them. And those corporations that made those decisions told Americans most of those jobs were not coming back.
Obama is in no way perfect but his policies are about the average American not those like Romney and me who already have our piece of the pie. We are doing fine than you. The idea we need another tax cut is absurd. But I am not going to sit idly by while 40 Million Americans have no health care and half of our society struggles to get by. That's absolute HS but of course what the crupper catches is what the GOP would dump on the poor, needy and elderly should they once again gain total power (just a horrifying thought).
Obama will eat Romney like a snack and his bones will fly out Obama's backside for the mulch pile.

Idiocy for either party to say they "created" jobs. That is nearly all done in the private sector. Ad we know what the private sector has been doing, accumulating record profits and refusing to invest adequately in America.

The jobs bills from Repubs in the House are sitting on Harry Reid desk. They are DOA. Reid wants to shelve the jobs bills to make the Repubs look bad and call them the "Party of No."

Solutions---What should I do? Get another job and give my earnings away? I would say to them find training and get a job. Then get a 3rd job to pay for the new programs like Obamacare, Consumer Protection Agency, General Motors, housing, unemployment, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, student loans, etc. etc.
John Kerry has already proposed raising the Social Security age to 80. In other words, you'll be long dead before they have to give you a nickle of that promise they made to you.
