In new ad, Paul rages against the DC machine

The Ron Paul campaign released another ad this morning, a flashy 30-second spot titled, “Washington Machine." It begins airing today on Iowa and New Hampshire TV, according to the Paul campaign.

An announcer says, “Serial hypocrites" (over an image of Newt Gingrich) "and flip-floppers" (over an image of Mitt Romney) "can’t clean up the mess” in Washington.

And over pictures of Ron Paul: "One man stands alone," pointing out that Paul will cut $1 trillion in his first year and balance the budget in three years. “Consistent, incorruptible, guided by faith and principle," the announcer says.

It ends with "Ron Paul: the one we’ve been looking for.”

    IfearGovernmentMoreThanTerrorism

Aw comeon guy, they are just having fun, the real enemy is all the right wing attack dogs spewing crap that they can't prove trying to hurt Dr Paul.

The problem with them is the more they do it the more they are helping us get the message out. I love it when the enemy helps you win...

    Neatest thing I've ever seen.

(personally the liberals should take note of this)

Someone here on First Read provided a list the other day of the votes Ron Paul took in Congress during his career and it isn't pretty.

I'll say this for Paul, he does have a clearly understood ideology which he sticks to regardless of what mainstream Republicans say, and the survivalist crazies, anti-Zionists and racists absolutely love him, which also doesn't faze him a bit.
      I guess that's a form of integrity.

Think Ron Paul would make a good president? Depends. I mean, they would have to stock the white house with them.

Sorry senior citizens, I couldn't help myself.

Maybe Ron "Puking Paul" should run for President of the local Nursing Home??? He could run on the jello and dentures platform! Now that is just scary! Just ask Perry! Ron "Puking Paul" is NOT even slightly qualified to be President of the United States!

Ron Paul's economic plan to cut 1 trillion in the first year and balance the budget in 3 years would have a similar effect on the country as cutting off your arms and legs to lose weight. How could we elect someone who gives so little consideration to the actual consequences of his proposals to the people of the country? Exactly what does he propose cutting? How many jobs would be lost if we cut a trillion dollars in the first year? If we eliminate all the government agencies, what do we do with all those who would be unemployed? I hope the voters of this country think this through before they vote.

Maybe you should look into it before you criticize things you don't understand.

would have a similar effect on the country as cutting off your arms and legs to lose weight.

You made that remark with such authority.

I don't agree with Dr. Paul on some things but he's right on others. The GAO has identified many areas of waste and redundancy. As did the Erskin-Bowles commission. We need reps with the courage to act on them. But that is still not enough. The answer is to get our govt back within the parameters of the Constitution.

You can read all about his propsed budget on his website. He is the ONLY candadite that has one (aside from the bs cut taxes cut spending that the other repubs are saying), this includes President Obama.
