“President Obama’s top campaign officials are attacking Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney for an economic plan they say will benefit wealthy Americans, not the middle class,” the Boston Globe writes. “ ‘His plan gives tax breaks to millionaires, billionaires, and large corporations while doing nothing to help middle class families,’ said Obama for America Campaign Manager Jim Messina. Messina and Obama campaign press secretary Ben LaBolt held a conference call with New Hampshire reporters [yesterday], the day before Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, kicks off a bus tour of the state.”

Way to go Mr. President. Give the good fight Sir.
I'm looking forward to the State of the Union Address. (Boehner, you and Cantor better hurry and get your rears in gear).
you are brainwashed. what about GE paying no taxes? big unions? all his buddies
he gave waivers to on healtcare? Soylandra billions. Pelosi's brother in law?
fast n furious? immigration? his buddy Corzine? and that's not even 10% of
the illegal corrupt things this socialist president has done? he's for the middle
class like i'm for amnesty for illegals!
you're for amnesty for "illegals"? surprising
Please explain how what you listed demonstrates that our president is involved in illegal and corrupt activities?
GE - can you show me how he was involved in their tax situation?
unions - I, for one, am glad he has the support of the working class
waivers- don't know enough about that one. Educate me on how that is corrupt or illegal
Solyndra - stupid, he deserves the ding
pelosi 's family? - OK, I don't about that one at all
fnf - mishandled, yes - corrupt or illegal?
immigration - wtf?
Corzine - where's the relationship?
Then there's the kicker "socialist president"! I wish! The man didn't even start the healthcare debate with single payer and wound up far from that ideal.
you and your ilk only embarrass yourselves when you call him a socialist.
Gees Ervin, that pretty much sums up the right-wing nontroversies, though you left out ACORN, Soros, hybrid seeds...
Who wants an end to corporate welfare like GE (pro-big business conservatives)? Who was responsible for Operation Wide Receiver? Who wants to end money in politics (pro-Wall Street conservatives)?Who wants to secure our borders (President Obama has done a far better job than Dubya)? Who's for the middle class (not the GOP House who is blocking passage of tax breaks for the middle class)?
Turn off FOX Noise and Hate Radio, and try to keep up.
Since the President cannot defend his failure , all we will get for the next year from the Dems is endless hateful class warfare rhetoric.
"tax breaks for millionaires". A pathetic and despicable campaign. Whether it works depends on whether the voters have a brain and dont fall for the hatred and divisiveness.
Bob
of the potential candidates for the GOP and the House GOP, the only consistent platform they have voiced is lower taxes for the "Job Creators" Nothing about lower taxes for the middle class, just more failed trickle down economics. When will the GOP learn it has never benefitedanyone except the rich but I think they have learned it. In the name of money trickling down they have made their buddies and themselves a lot of money..
The theory, give more money to the rich, lower their taxes and they will invest and hire workers and the money trickles down to the workers and then it goes back into the economy.
The Fact, you give more money to the rich and lower their taxes, they simply have more money. Politicians use the "Job Creator" rhetoric to enlist middle class working people but the fact is these so called Job Creators are not letting go of money they are finding ways to make more. It does not seem to be trickling down. As George H W Bush called it, Voodoo Economics....
Bob -- Hahah (snort) hah!
Class warfare is Newt Gingrich suggesting that poor kids do janitorial work in public schools. Not only is this racist, but demonizing the poor has been going on for a long time by the Reich-wing. Not until the last 30-40 years that this war has been waged on the middle class, as manifested by the outrageous income disparity we see now and with so many people falling below poverty level, are the 99% fighting back. Hopefully the Occupy movement will continue to grow, as well as unions, and ways to circumvent the current system that is rigged for the privileged few.
And you affilitate yourself with the 1%, really? You will never eat at their table you fool.
Divisiveness? How about religious wedge issues such as abortion, gays, etc. Why do you suppose these are called "wedge" issues? The hatred of Muslims, our mixed-race president, or even European allies (oh those evil socialists!) -- during crisis in particular, the Reich-wing uses fear to divide Americans. That's what's despicable.
I shouldn't feed a troll like you, but it's truly amazing you keep posting here after getting spanked time and again. Now run along and give us some peace.
Everytime, and it's not many, that the baggers mention the middle class it burns their tongues because they couldn't care less about the middle class. Their policies bear that out no matter how many lies they tell to the contrary.
