GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Hours after South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley endorsed him, Mitt Romney’s campaign is sending out a recorded phone message in which Haley explains why she supports the former Massachusetts governor.
In the robo-call, obtained by NBC News, Haley says she decided to endorse Romney because he is “not a creature of Washington." a veiled jab at House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who is currently surging in polls of South Carolina Republican voters.
“Mitt Romney knows what it means to make decisions, real decisions, not simply cast a vote,” Haley says, also implicitly criticizing Gingrich’s long career in Congress.
Haley invites the recipient of the call to join her family and Romneys at a rally this afternoon in Greenville, where she will be appearing with the candidate.
The call was paid for by the Romney campaign.

Hi, this is Gov. Nikki Haley, and this morning I announced my endorsement of Mitt Romney for President of the United States.
I want you to know how and why I came to endorse the man I believe should be our next president.
Mitt Romney knows what it means to make decisions, real decisions, not simply cast a vote. He is not a creature of Washington. He knows how the private economy works, how to fix it, and most importantly how to solve problems. And he has proven it.
Whether by turning around broken companies and a failing Olympics or successfully balancing a budget and cutting taxes in a Democratic state. From where I sit, working every day to bring jobs to South Carolina and keep our budget balanced, Mitt Romney is the best choice. He has the experience, the agenda and the leadership to deliver us the results we deserve.
Please join the Romneys and the Haleys today in Greenville for a rally at the Bowling Springs fire station at 4:30.

Overall Approval Rating = 34%
Approval Rating Among Republicans = 52% (in February that number was 65%)
Bob 188--where is Haley numbers going up? In SC where her approval rating is a dismal 34%? I don't know if I would want her endorsement after the Columbia newspaper revealed her violation of the state freedom of info act. If we want to see what a Republican president would bring us, we need look no further than the actions of the newest Republican governors.

The Republican rising stars are like a fart in a bathtub. They rise to the surface, bubble for a very brief time, burst and then proceed to stink the place up!

If Haley is around much longer, that is. She is now under investigation for not complying with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Kind of like Romney and the missing hard drives, they are two peas in a pod (per Chilled's post below)!
Haley tried to cover up her attempt to bilk the federal government of one million for researching ways to implement the Affordable Care Act, and instead research ways to opt out of it. Shame, shame -- Her endorsement may end up being as toxic as Christine Donnell's.
Let's see, Nikki doesn't comply with a FOI request for e-mails and Mittens sells or otherwise destroys computer hard drives!

Bob, the least popular governors in America are all Teapublicans. That's how much America hates tea party policies when they have to live under them. Haley herself is losing support from her fellow Republicans.

There is speculation that Romney may be helping Christine O'Donnell pay off her campaign debts (to get the wackadoodle vote), so who knows--maybe Romney is helping pay legal fees for Haley to fight charges of subverting FOIA?

So you FINALLY report the endorsement but you find an angle that you believe casts it in a negative light? Robo Calls? What campaign doesn't use robo calls after an endorsement? Why don't you report the influence this will have on the First in the South primary? Shallow. Very shallow.
